The hotel is well over priced for what you get room was clean but one water for 2 people coffee tea average 3 biscuits for 2 people but stingy swimming pool was freezing decor needs updating hot tub only warm kids were getting in no supervision from any staff members.restaurant busy so if you are not wanting to eat your left standing waiting for a table breakfast basic no scones or a lot of variety. Drinks in bar substand I had to change a drink as it was flat.all that Sayed it for me was the singer he was great and entertaining.would not recommend or return so disappointed for the high price paid for the room

Beautiful area and hotel

This hotel has so much to offer. It's a little dated and the beds are a little hard for my standard however, don't let that prevent you from staying. From pool to gym to 2 restaurants (granted one was had NO availability the whole time we were there), golf courses, grand staircases and plenty of places to relax and enjoy the views. I would stay there again. The staff beyond exceptional especially Thomas and Michelle! The area was fantastic. Easy to get to the airport. Stay!

Pool looked fab in the pictures but was just the way the pictures was taken. It was ok but not fab. Good hotel but didn’t think anything special. Was very disappointed with the room due to loud noise from the vents, didn’t really sleep the two nights die to this. Tried to change the room after check-in but got room on same side and noise was still there. Didn’t think they cared when I mentioned it again on check-out. Breakfast was good but again nothing special, no cheese for example or brown bread except of soda.

We really enjoyed our stay. Trim is a beautiful area with lots of pleasant walks. The pool facilities were excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. The only downsides were not knowing when public classes were on in the pool and some issues with water pressure in the bathroom. Overall it was a really lovely trip

Room was clean, had everything we needed and had a balcony!
Breakfast was a continental and hot food buffet.
Dinner was beautiful and well priced.
Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities including library, snooker, pool, jacuzzi, gym, hairdressers, spa and golf course.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Lots of parking. Lots of areas to sit and lounge/chill out.

Disappointed that the rooftop bar that was so highly advertised was closed and padlocked. Yes the weather hasn't been great but it should still be an option for people when it has been advertised so much.
Shower was one in the bath. You couldn't adjust the height and no pressure.
Online said check in was 4pm but posters in the hotel said 3pm. Reception said "it just depends if we are busy" so probably best to phone and check. Check out is 11am. Usually when check in is 4, check out is 12.

Bedrooms newly refurbished and have quality furniture etc. We received a small box of chocolates for our wedding anniversary and each receptionist wishes us congrats. We played the golf course and it was in a great condition, if testing. Treatments in the Spa were exceptional if expensive. Didn't use the restaurant this time but breakfast has improved since before.

The staff was great—especially Kieran at the desk. The only disappointment was the pool. We had booked for my daughter to swim. The first night—the pool closed early due to a holiday. The morning after, pool time in the morning was for adults only. When we finally got to the pool, we were told swim caps were required and had to be purchased for 2 euros each. In the end, it wasn’t worth paying 2 euros per person since my daughter just wanted to swim for 20 minutes and I was required to be in the pool with her since she was 12 years old. In the USA, parents are allowed to be at poolside to watch kids swim and pool caps not required so we were a bit taken aback by the strict rules.

Let me start by saying the staff were excellent. Having been at the hotel this time 10 years ago not much has changed meaning the hotel needs a serious refurb... We were a party of 20 for a notable Anniversary and we booked a package Room B&B and evening meal... Service for the meal was an absolute disaster with the guests of honour being severed last. They thought feeding the teenagers first was the way forward. The food itself was mediocre at best..and to be honest it wasnt cheap...Even at breakfast it was unorganized chaos with a line to get in despite free tables.. the food at breakfast was mixed..scrambled eggs were bland beyond belief.... sausages were FAB! I say without fear of contradiction it will be considerably more that 10 years before we return.

Lovely stay at the Knightsbrook. The Spa was extremely accommodating, I'm near the end of my 3rd trimester and was able to switch out one of the treatments to suit better, Laura is brilliant, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed.

I was pleasantly surprised in the Rococo restaurant. As a vegan I did not have high hopes that there'd be options for me but I managed to get dessert and all! Staff in all areas of the hotel are very attentive and pleasant.

This has become a regular stop. The calibre of stay is unbeaten and is fitting close when in Ireland for work. The greeting is always warm and helpful, all other staff are equally accommodating.
This trip there were two small glitches, the bathroom need a deep clean where accessories meet the wall. And, cold plates at breakfast is not acceptable. That said, visiting the dining areas vis the grand reception is its own reward.

we had trouble with our key card, every day when we got back from being out and about our card would not work … not entirely sure what was going on or wether it times out passed check out time at 11am but we were staying 3 days it became a bit of a laughing point in all fairness and the free pints of guinness soon made us feel better

if you are staying at this hotel would highly recommend a car and there was loads of free parking

a fantastic 3 night stay
we had carvery on the sunday and i must say best carvery ever
we also opted for the breakfast and there was loads of choice
would highly recommend

Good be excellent but let's itself down sadly.

Lovely hotel, beautiful lobby with stunning chandelier. Room was spacious and bed was nice and big. Pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable. Pool was nice and spacious and steam room, jacuzzi good, lovely fluffy towels. Showers were freezing and sauna was cold. Lockers didn't work but you get a small locker asking from the staff. Breakfast was much more expensive than says here (17 per adult and 10€ per child) and definitely not worth that much. All self service even coffee/tea. Nothing freshly baked like bread, pastry. Let down for beautiful hotel. Reception staff very nice.

The location is marvellous. A local walk was identified, this passed local landmarks and was its own reward after a long drive. The rooms are great, however dining is limited and carries pricing fitting the calibre of resort. The staff are friendly, the surrounding a real treat.

This hotel could be very nice. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t. Our shower flooded the entire bathroom floor due to poor fitting of the shower screen. I slipped on the first day and banged my head on the sink worktop. We told the reception immediately who said someone would come and fix this, however no one arrived until our last day of the stay ( 2 days later) we were just told to be careful and not slip.. which is hard when there’s a river on the floor every time you shower! Also be careful if there are any events/ weddings going on here the rooms are very noisy. Location wise this is slightly too far to walk to the centre of Trim for restaurants etc.
I would also not visit the spa as it’s a rip off. The treatment ( neck, shoulders and back massage) was the worst I’ve had. I felt like they were reading from a physical sheet of how to do a massage

This was due to the bedroom doors,they need adjusting,as each time anyone entered their rooms the door was prone to slam shut.you can imagine this happening for most of the night.guests coming to bed at all hours,very unsettling.

The resort is beautiful. The golf course is incredible. The golf staff Ben (I hope that was his name. He worked Sunday July 7th and Saturday afternoon July 13th) and Kate were very helpful and awesome to deal with. I think the food selection was slim and they didn’t have the pizza bar. Luca and Davide were the best bartenders!

I stayed one night with my 13 year daughter. We were able to check in a but earlier than normal which was fantastic for us as it meant we could use the pool which she just loved. That evening we enjoyed a meal in the hotel. Breakfast was great and there was plenty for us to choose from. This is my 5th time staying and I always have had a positive experience.
