There’s the free parking lot at the back of the hotel, amongst other perks like gym laundry and a very nice clean apartment. Divonne lake is like the backyard of the property. Don’t miss the Sunday morning market!

The property was filthy and shouldn't be offered for rent. Choice hotels should not be affiliated with such a disgusting place. Do not stay here by any means. The beds were our only reprieve from the carpet which was suspiciously stained all over and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 35 years. We did not even attempt to remove our shoes until safely on the beds. Just don't even consider this as a possible option for your stay.

But when it comes to cleanliness, omg, I think they have never, ever cleaned the rugs..

We only stayed one night before a flight so it was good for that purpose. They do need to clean common areas (vacuum the carpets) better, but the room was good. The restaurant the receptionist recommended was actually closed on Monday (as were others in the area) so we ended up driving to dinner.

Reasonable hotel for a stop along our journey. The rooms were comfortable but in need of some maintenance - we noted stained carpets and marked walls. Parking was fine with street or secure parking options.

It is a short walk to the town centre for restaurants, of which there are a few choices.

The hotel is undergoing an ownership change and was out of order. Obviously it is under remodeling since we saw construction materials piled up next to the lobby entrance. The room cleaning was poorly done. Trash in the bath room and kitchen was not removed, and worst of all, there was no towels at all. The room had dusty smell and made us feel ill.

Cheap and convenient apartment, nice small town

We stayed for 3 nights here at the start of April 2018 in order to explore the local areas of France and Switzerland. For this purpose the hotel was ideal, being close to the motorway, and walkable to the local shops and bars of Divonne les Bains, as well as having an amazing view of the river and the Jura mountains. The apartment itself was basic, with a 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge and plates etc. Lack of a grill/oven made cooking a little more thought-required than we anticipated.
The biggest drawback was the reception area, which was being re-furbished. It was very dusty as the carpets were being replaced, which put us off eating at the hotel. We were unhappy not to be warned of the work when we booked, however, it wasn't audible from our room, and aside from making the hotel look unwelcoming when we arrived didn't really impact our stay much.

Overnight for the Geneva Motorshow - all other rooms were booked nearby. Nice staff, easy check-in and 1 bedroon appartment was comfortable. Needs a bit of a renewal but overall clean and quiet. Breakfast is OK for the price. Easy parking. Pet Friendly - Recommend

Large apartment on the edge of Divonne

Large apartment with separate bathroom, toilet, kitchen, bedroom and lounge. The bathroom includes a bath and separate shower.

Kitchen area had good lighting and ventilation. A dishwasher was provided. The kitchen appeared generally well equipped but lacked some basic things, such as frying pan, bottle opener & chopping board.
The lounge was huge with a comfortable sofa, dining table and TV.

The heating worked well. It was very cold when we visited and the apartment remained comfortable at all times.

Located about 10 minutes walking distance from the town centre.

Great location, had a rental so it is easy to get around, local shops within walking distance. Large studio, all you need for short stay. Only issue, is a weird hot water system which requires the water to run for sometime before the hot water comes through.

Where should we start....

This apartment hotel was highly recommended by friends who had family and friends stay there over the years when it used to cater to business guests....however...it appears service level or management or something has changed...........selected because it was only 15-20mins from friends in Givrins

Negatives::Check-in was OK - however no electronic key - still OK.We got to the room - a bit of a musky smell - so opened the windows for fresh air.
Next morning, noticed weird smell in toilet (separate area from bathroom) - had to leave some citrus soap in a cup daily to counter this.
It gets better - my husband had to take out the trash (no cleaning - we were traveling with a baby - so imagine diapers, food). We were informed if you stay 4-7 days they clean once- we stayed 6 days - no one came until the day before we left when i called the front desk to complain again - since no response from other days - it was pointless at this time - just asked for new towels.
Our apartment had an outer door which used an electronic key - we were not given this key - we returned late one night to find the door locked - my husband went downstairs to the front desk, he was provided the key and asked to return - gasp...because they did not have enough keys for the people checking in that weekend - i guess current guests did not matter.
We ran out of bathroom tissue - informed the front desk - we were informed it would be brought to the room, 2 hours later, called the f

Ok hotel a little far from Geneva, Switzerland.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room size was decent for a hotel in France. I wanted to stay near Geneva, Switzerland and this hotel was the only one available during the time I was there for business. It's about a 20 minute car ride to Geneva. The area Divonne les Bains was a small town area. There is a casino nearby, about a 10 minute walk away from this hotel. The restaurants nearby closes a little early, and there aren't too many shops around. It was a quiet area, if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Mistakes at Check in, check out...

At checking in, I have been (twice) assigned a room where somebody else already lived...clearly poorly trained staff (this staff member admitted that he is 3rd day on the job). The manager interfered and assigned a different (upgraded) room, but did not apologize for the mess at check in...
At checking out another incident: the same staff member who checked me in tried to collect from me the cost of the stay, although the hotel has been prepayed through EXPEDIA. Fortunately I had a proof that it has been prepayed. As a result my check out has been slow, and I was almost late for my flight.
Otherwise a good hotel, I have stayed there many times.

Main reason for choosing was free parking. Which turns out to be on the street. Thankfully it was not difficult to do. For gated stalls the hotel will add a charge. Leaving luggage before or after check-in is charged by the hour. We were to be charged for Wi-Fi until we showed our Expedia confirmation which included free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was not included. Room was inexpensive so I guess they had to add everything else. Side note: our rental's navigation took us to opposite direction of roundabout by the hotel.

Don't stay here if you have another choice!!

This hotel had no housekeeping service during our stay of 5 days. The front desk staff was tricky and in bad humor, trying, intentionally, to give us a wrong wifi password and a room with the damaged lock door.
The service was poor and the personal attitude was cold.
In general, the stay was uncomfortable and this hotel, actually, is not a nice stop for such a beautiful small town near by Switzerland.

I was in Divonne for one night to attend a funeral and to be honest the main reason for staying here was the airport shuttle which at 5 euros sounds too good to be true but did what it promised! As it doesn't run on a Sunday it cost me 60 Euros for a taxi to get from the airport to Divonne so it is amazing value - the room nearly paid for itself!

Quiet spa village

Stayed here 6 nights and was able to see many sights.Close to Geneva, Montreux, Annecy and free parking are benefits. We found the soothing stream and church bells outside our door enchanting. Divonne les Bains was charming and the town bustles with markets on the weekend. The bus and train back from Geneva and was not bad. The bus service is not the best on the weekend though.

Although my reservation was initially booked for this location at my arrival I've been told that the house was full and thus they had to transfer my reservation to another hotel of the same chain. Quiet, comfortable hotel 15 minutes from GVA.

The hotel staff were excellent; we were picked up at Geneva airport, on time, by the shuttle bus; the room was clean, comfortable, well appointed, and very quiet, overlooking a stream. The small village is a short walk from the hotel, with several restaurants. The shuttle driver was very friendly, and drove us to GVA in the morning. Everything was perfect.

Park & Suites Prestige Divonne les Bains, is a wonderful place to stay. The area is spectacular, the apartments are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked a fast running stream and beautiful views. It was fully equipped for cooking. The staff were fantastic and bent over backwards to help us. The garden outside was lovely to sit with a glass of wine and relax with the hubby, so peaceful. I got our area mixed up as we were supposed to be staying on the Switzerland side, but ended up on the France side, (hubby and I are so glad that we did). The Suites were about a thirteen minute drive across the border by car, but there is a bus right outside, about a 2 minute walk to the Coppet train station. This takes you into Geneva. We would definitely go back to Park & Suites Prestige Divonne les Bains.

All the staff were extremely nice and very helpful. They were assisted us with any and everything we needed and never seemed to mind when we bombarded them with questions. The room was very clean and well presented.
The only thing that we found an issue was the distance from the hotel to the airport as it cost a lot in fare. But I guess we should have researched that before hand. Apart from that I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a window with a view of the mountains and a roaring stream bordered by trees, lovely. It was right on the edge of the main street so close to good restaurants and little french shops, 5 minutes the other way was the lake with lovely walks.hotel was great, we cooked our own breakfasts in the room although we could have had a good breakfast downstairs. We had a free ride to the airport,staff very friendly, would definitely go again.

we really enjoyed the room and the hotel. the staff was pleasant and helpful. the kitchenette was nice, but you do have to clean up after yourself, and there is no sponge or soap in the kitchen area. it was a good size. we also stayed at the same hotel chain in Megeve, and that was very nice as well.

Pleased with our stay. Difficult to find a better price for a family suite with kitchenette in that location. Some building work going on nearby, but didn't affect our sleep. Slightly small on size overall, but large balcony was an added bonus. Stayed there for two nights, hotel based in residential area. Reception staff helpful and spoke English. Would use hotel again.

Well equipped studios and apartments.

You get a comfortable bed, a well equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with separate walk in shower and bath plus a separate loo with hand basin.

Plenty of free parking and the area is v quiet even though there is building work nearby - new apartments . If your sat nav takes you to number 520 keep gong across the roundabout as the numbers do not run in sequence. It's just beyond the roundabout.

Walking distance of small lake, the town centre, shops, casino, and restaurants.

The room should have been cleaner, there was coffee or coke splashed on the side of the breakfast bar and some stains on the carpet. Only 1 English News station on the TV.

Good value.

The staff was helpful and very polite. The view of our room to the river was very nice and relaxing. We stayed in a flat for 4 people which was kind of tiny and we couldn't expand the 4-person dining table to its maximum size as it was blocked by the bed. Also, there was no hairdryer, no sponge and soap for dish washing (except for a detergent pill per day for the dishwasher). Another problem was lack of WiFi in the room.

Great location

The hotel location was perfect. Shame there was a bit of building work going on in the immediate vicinity (footpaths and development of some waste ground), but that really did not affect our stay as we found an alternative way to circumnavigate that and there was no noise. It was literally a 2 minute walk into the main square and street. The condition of the room was clean but a bit tatty (I blame that on the chosen method of interior decoration), but we didn't spend too much time inside. Bed was a bit on the soft side. Divonne was a pleasant surprise as we did not know too much about it. We had originally thought about staying in Nyon, but realised we had made the right choice with Divonne. Plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from and a pleasant lake to amble around for a couple of hours. We were there to enjoy the walking in the hills and mountains around. Perfect base for that.

Ideal holiday hotel

A great hotel especially as it had rooms that would sleep families and groups. Loved the well-equipped kitchen area and separate part with individual toilet and well-fitted bathroom. Tasty and comprehensive breakfast. The hotel is ideally situated to stroll into the pretty town with its great Sunday market and in the other direction to the lovely lake.

This hotel is just inside the Swiss/French border on the French side which makes the accommodation experience a lot cheaper. The hotel is a short walking distance from a quaint little village that has some great little places to eat. The hotel also has some washing machines that are handy for travellers.

Stayed in this hotel on a business trip. It was ok, the room was 'fine' and functional, but cold. However, on the first morning I tried to shower and after 5 minutes the water was still cold (on a morning of heavy snow in Divonne). I called down to reception and was told 'you have to let it run for 10 minutes'. After 10 more minutes the water was just about warm so I showered, then the hairdryer didn't work. I asked for another but was told there wasn't one. So I asked for it to be replaced before the next day, which I was told it wiould be, and went off into the snow with wet hair from a lukewarm shower. Next morning, same story. Lukewarm shower, and same hairdryer (which had just been moved to a different spot). On the plus side, the room is reasonably cheap and the breakfast is pretty good. On the minus side - all of the above, plus don't be fooled by the words 'fitness suite'. It's a small room with a cross-trainer and another machine (an exercise bike, I think). Neither elecrtonic, both very basic. No treadmill or anything. And a weights bench. That's it.

Geneva Trip

Hotel was great for the price paid. The room(s) were clean though the sofa was uncomfortable, but who cares. I beleive it was a fold out actually... The hotel was a quick 15 minute drive to the Palexpo concention center - a lot faster than one can make it if you are staying downtown Geneva. Nice town and many restaurants to choose from in walking distance.

Two exceedingly satisfied customer

The staff at the Reception is the real asset of the hotel. They helped us hugely during our stay. Their help ranged from recommending to us places of visit, and searching for the train/bus/ferry timetables with fares information. The great one was the arrangement of their shuttle bus service to pick us up at their service destinations after our visits to various places. Without their help we, being a traveller first time at this part of the World, wouldn't be able to visit or even know places like Evian Les Bains, Yvoire and Nyon and this is not to mention other places of interest at Geneva and Lausanne.
Our original plan was with Geneva as the focus. But with the hotel being at the French side of the border we found ourselves migrating between the two countries and we, with the great help of their staff, had been able to visit some gorgeous places during our stay.
Our room was a very nice one with self catering facility. It was very clean. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is good. In addition to the bath there is a shower too.
Our window oversaw the river just outside our room and this is beautiful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Great family hotel for Geneva

Lovely hotel , great for Geneva and the airport. We had a junior suite for 2 adults and 2 chidren and this was excellent. Apartment even had kitchen facilities. Only minus point was the room smelled of cigarette smoke so asked to be moved but no rooms available so staff sprayed air freshener which helped enormously.

A Geneva hotel that's nice and affordable

This is a good hotel for access to Geneva (especially the west side of Geneva including the airport area) at a cost significantly below that of Geneva hotels. The hotel is in France so deals in Euros rather than Swiss Francs. I was quite pleased with everything and would definitely stay there again.

Good value and location

I appreciated having a well-equiped kitchenette in my room. Location is nice and quiet, and just a 5 minute walk to village center. Great location for exploring the region.
Staff was helpful, friendly, and professional.
As a single traveler, I felt very comfortable at this property. I would definitely come back if I travel in this region again.

Wonderful gem off e beaten path

We ADORED this hotel. Wonderful friendly service, fabulous restaurant, and really cosy wine bar (winstub) downstairs. Large rooms, excellent showers, and a quiet location.

The ambiance is the true ace here though, as the hotel is gorgeous and truly Alsacian. We will definitely be back!

T.V News in English missing

The hotel is very nice for the rate.
Staff are pleasant.
Room is clean and so the bath and towels.
The only thing missing is proper T.V. news channels in English.
But there is an improvement on other T.V English moves channels.
