This is not a hotel! This is motel with just a bed and a bathroom. All belongings were on the floor. NO INTERNET! They offered Geneva Airport's Free WiFi? which is 90% time is overloaded and not accessible. The room was very cold, we've asked an extra blanket and still were cold.

We booked this hotel purely as an overnight hotel before our morning flight, I hadn't realised it is actually over the border in France, not that this was an issue other than it is quite an old hotel and doesn't have usb points I only had swiss plug adaptors with me so couldnt charge my phone, luckily reception were able to loan me an adaptor, we also had no euros to pay the city tax but it wasn't an issue as we paid on card. We took an Uber to and from the hotel, these were easy to get and cost £22 and £19 respectively. They apparently do run a shuttle but I wasn't sure about timings for this. The room was clean and warm and the shower worked well. There was a kettle in the room and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice although I wasn't particularly hungry as we were there when it started at 6.30am. A nice end to our amazing week in Switzerland.

It’s a quiet area if you’re staying as a tourist and are tired after a long day of walking around. Unfortunately, the facilities were not the best when we got there. We got minimal instruction on how to actually work everything in the room. On top of that one of the pillars on the bed broke out of nowhere in the middle of the night.

For the price, it’s really not the best, but if it was a bit cheaper, it would be decent.

Really convenient being 10 Minutes from Geneva airport. Clean and quiet place. Not much to do on walking distance. But for us was what we needed. Hotel has a restaurant but we didn’t eat there so I have no comment on that. If you need a clean and quiet place close to the Airport this is the place,,also they have a shuttle service that is cheaper than Regular Taxi. Uber is also Available in the area.

Basic hotel, we had one night booked but wouldn't have stayed longer. Bed sheets were shabby and room could have done with a bit more cleaning.

Hotel is not within walking distance so be prepared to get an Uber or arrange a minibus with the hotel (20 euro each way!) Hotel is cheap but the price of travel makes up for it so may as well book a more expensive one next to the airport.

We arrived late due to our flight being delayed and spent about 20 minutes trying to find how to enter the hotel as all the gates were closed so you will need to call them to let you in.

Was nobody on reception in the morning so ended up just leaving the key on the desk.

Geneva on a budget

Great hotel to visit Geneva on a budget. Staying in Ferney costs a fraction of what it costs to stay in Geneva and work a couple of different entry points to Geneva you are close to everything, CERN or the lake. The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good with lots of options. The highlight for me was the squeezed orange juice.

The room was dirty, spider webs everywhere, we had bugs and spider walking on us all night, the feeling was awful, we asked for the walls to be vacuumed but the cleaning lady didn't understand any language nor us miming her what to do so nothing really got vacuumed. One of the worse hotel experience i had in my life.

Have a small restaurant which is also overpriced (a small fillet of fish & fries was 20€) but we had no choice (no car, can't walk too far, expensive taxis). Nice waiter though.

I was fine, but nothing special. I didn’t like how the windows couldn’t be opened unless you let bugs in and there were people smoking outside my room seemingly all night. The mattress cover was super loud and made the sheets come off. The breakfast, however, was incredible. And the staff were super helpful and friendly.

Stayed 1 night as it was 10 min drive from CERN. This hotel is in France not in Switzerland. The room was a bit small and the AC was barely working. A fan would have been great. We were given a room in 1st floor with no lift,so, it was tough carrying luggage up the narrow stairs that too in a very hot afternoon . The bus stop is good10-15 minutes walk. Taxi is expensive.
The breakfast was good as expected . Over all for a one night stay , It was ok.
The staff was great very polite and helpful.

The worst stay of my family vacation. My son went to the reception and they did not have sheets or pillows for my son's cot. The cot could not stand up because its legs were damaged. The power went out in that part of the hotel at 02:00 am and they did not solve it until 07:45 am without being able to open a window because it was raining and the problem was a breaker and nobody knew. Talk to the Manager and he is a pushy and arrogant person. The person at the reception agreed to give me a credit for the bad time and what they gave me was $25.00 credit. I could really go on saying a lot more about the bad experience at Campanille but it's not worth it, only if I can tell you NOT to waste your time talking to the MANAGER if he has any situation because he's not going to solve them. Thank you very much for such bad service and professionalism......

The room was tiny and uncomfortable, the bare minimum, no space for suitcases, the pillow was really soft. There was a bad odour in the rooms.
Positives: the bathroom was good, the location is excellent if you want to be near the Geneva airport for one night and not spend too much. They waited for us to check us in late at night, the staff were all very nice. The breakfast was also pretty good.

Use Campanile regularly across France last 8-10yrs. This one is very tired. Toilet flush non functional. Matress deformed like a banana - none of us managed to sleep, rolling towards the centre, regardless of sleeping positioning, See pics. Informed the staff when checking out. The management never came back. There are other similarly priced and valid hotels near GVA airport

The Campanile hotel is a convenient and comfortable hotel (or possibly more accurately, motel), located in Ferney Voltaire, France - very close (< 10 minutes) from Geneva Airport.

Great beds for a great sleep (no airplane noise!) in a reasonably spacious room for two adults plus two kids.

Minor quibble was that the room carpet could probably have been a bit cleaner, but overall very happy with the hotel. Would definitely stay there again if our requirements are such that we need an overnight stay at Geneva Airport.

the room is tiny, when you ask for quadraple room you get a normal room with extra mattress on a a folding bad and no floor room at all.

we had 9 hours in the hotel (19-0400) and still founded this surprise + second floor with no elevator not a funny surprise.

Part of the description is PURE fiction!

Beware! The \"in the property\" section of this hotel said not once but TWICE that there was a 24 hour front desk. I chose this property with this in mind as we had a 7:15 am flight out of Geneva. When I checked in they asked me if we wanted breakfast, and I replied no as we would already be on our way to the airport by 6. She said NOTHING about what we were about to experience.

When we went to the desk at 5:00 am it was NOT open and would not be until 6:30!!!!! This hotel is in the middle of NO WHERE. My cell phone dialing assistance would not work to dial a cab company. After a very stressful 1/2 hour, we lucked out and stood literally in front of a cab on the nearest main road who already had a fare. The cabbie who spoke very little English did come back and retrieve us after he took his other passengers where they needed to go. We narrowly averted disaster! DO NOT rely on their written statements.

Cozy place with pleasant staff!

I stayed in Ferney-Voltaire for 2 nights and really enjoyed my time there. The room was small but it had everything we needed. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The restaurant had a good variery of food and everything was delicious. The buffet style breakfast and lunch were also very well prepared and the variety of choices was great. The only inconvenience about this inn is the location if you don't have a car. The bus stop is about 10-15 mins walking distance but it didn't bother me too much. The inn is located in a safe neighbourhood so it was pleasant to walk through the small streets. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Needed a stopover before an early flight from Geneva the next day. Great price. Good basic accommodation - clean and nice room. Close to airport. Only negative was the cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel and back next morning. 35 euros from airport for a 6 km journey! Ended up costing more than the room. Not the campaniles fault but bear it in mind when planning.

We booked 2 rooms as we were travelling with 2 relatives that struggled with stairs , great service as they gave them the ground floor room near to the reception.

Great value if you can suffer the shortcomings.

Hotel generally very good, but a constant humming (from the building air conditioning, the room air con unit was fine and could be switched off) would disturb a light sleeper. We were on a tiring connection so not a big problem for us, fortunately.
Family room was pretty clean, and fairly recently renovated, with sufficient space for the four of us, even with the fourth, fold up bed, being open and prepared.
Booked a table in the restaurant, but we were several minutes late. Not sure if this contributed to very slow service, but we grabbed our own water in the end, no bread was offered, and the simple dishes took over 45 minutes to arrive. If you weren't trapped to the hotel restaurant by the location, we would have left.
Steak haches were over cooked, and the mussels looked like they had been under a hot lamp for some time. But the food was more than edible for weary travellers.
Reception staff very pleasant, waiter just didn't acknowledge us at all, not even a thank you or good evening after we paid and left.
Small kids play area nearby, larger park with playground a little bit further on, if you have time to kill with kids.
If you can venture further into town, there are lots of eating options.
The hotel shuttle to the airport was fine, and fairly priced. Taxis to the airport from here are extortionate (over 50 euros) despite being less than a 10 minute drive.
We would stay again considering the price, but would be a little better prepared next time.

Nice hotel next to the airport

I had a sore back so a kind member of staff helped me lift my bag up the stairs. So appreciated. Close to the airport so handy for picking family up before embarking on a road trip. A good functional hotel for a quick stop and friendly staff and a decent breakfast.
