Great hotel, location is excellent with family (opposite shopping mall with food mall there); with automatic-free Geneva travel pass, also located in front of bus that goes to both Airport / train station and downtown. For pets, also good (small park outside for walking). Wasn't informed of CHF20 fee for dogs though. Breakfast (CHF25 per adult, kids eat free) is worth it (nice decent selection). Only 2 qualms (as with most hotels): 1) AC system is nonsensical / user-unfriendly... we just switched it off (I think, couldn't understand if that actually worked!); 2) only 1 hook available for 4 wet towels (family of 4)! PUT IN MORE HOOKS or TOWEL RAILS! Overall a solid stay!

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It was a perfect distance from the airport (about 10-15 mins on number 10 bus) and very conveniently had a shopping centre opposite with coffee shops, food court and supermarket inside. The staff were very welcoming and contacted me prior to my arrival to check the bed arrangement for my family. They also had a luggage room available for leaving bags before/after check-out although our room was ready when we arrived so we were able to check in early which was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were staying in a family room so had one large bed and two singles for our children. There was a curtain that could be drawn between the beds to separate the sleeping areas. The bathroom had a shower and a bath and a separate toilet near the door. There were lots of eco friendly touches like bamboo cups and everything was pristine. The reception kindly let us borrow some travel adaptors which we’d forgotten for our chargers.
We didn’t have the hotel breakfast (with two fussy children) so we bought bits from the supermarket opposite and borrowed bowls from the hotel to eat in our rooms. The hotel is right on number 10 tram service which takes you to the train station and centre of Geneva in 20-30 mins and connects with all other tram lines. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those with children.

This hotel was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also very clean and worked for our daughter’s family of four since every room is a mini suite. The property is nice and clean. However the aircon doesn’t work properly. Requested staff for a fan as we were drenched in sweat but as per them they don’t have any fans. Also they don’t provide iron in the room and have a separate iron room where you will stand for hours as there are other people in the queue before you. Also the iron was not the best. A bottle of water will cost you 8 CHF which is definitely a crazy price.

Completely over priced, even by Geneva standards, I felt the hotel was old, tired, and most definitely not 4 stars. Sure, there is technically room service but only if you want reheated pizza; there is supposedly access to a restaurant, but it is closed on Sundays with staff being barely attentive when it is open, the room is extremely basic with no niceties, there is a fitness room but only if you count a treadmill shoved in a corner as 'fitness'

The only 2 small issues we had:
* because we booked through Expedia, we were not told that Geneva city offer tourists free public transport for their stay, and the passes are given either ahead of time or by the hotel on check-in. We only discovered a day into our stay that we were meant to get these. The staff on reception sorted our passes no problem but said it was due to booking through Expedia had been the issue.
* We hired a car (unaware of the offer for free public transport) and drove from the airport in the dark to the hotel. Coming from the direction of the airport, the hotel is on the left and the sat nav was insistent we should turn left, across the main road, to get into the hotel, however there were clearly signs saying we couldn't. As a result we lost about 20 mins driving around trying to get ourselves back towards the hotel. Not the hotel's fault but just a warning if driving!

We had a very easy time accessing the hotel via the city bus and it was very comfortable in our stay between flights.

The location was great - beside the bus stop between the airport and the city. The room was well laid out and initially seemed nice. However, there was no air conditioning/it did not work (we are unclear if there was any - our initial instructions from reception were simply to turn the heating off) and then to try to set it to cooling. There was no effect, however. Moreover, the windows were locked shut (which reception said was a rule from the city for that side of the street). So with the temperature having been mid-20s (celsius) in the day time, we were left with a sleepless night in a stuffy, hot room. The receptionist had little sympathy, seemed surprised at the situation and was unable to help.

Good solid stay no complaints, we enjoyed our stay in geneva. Local bus service stopped just outside (no 10 bus takes you into geneva city centre). Large shopping mall opposite with a nice supermarket and food hall. (Note mall is shut sundays)

We stay at Novotel’s often and were never disappointed so far. Until now: the restaurant is closed on weekends (why?), somehow the room was cold all night (even though A/C turned off (?), bed linens were blood stained and floor under the bed not vacuumed! It was disgusting!
