• The hotel is located in the city center along the Rhone River, about 10 minutes by foot from the railway station and about 30-45 minutes by bus or by train from the airport. • All our rooms are non–smoking.
They are equipped with a telephone, WIFI cable TV, refrigerator, and a kettle for our guests to prepare tea or coffee at their convenience. Please also note that: - Our hotel does not offer breakfast; however, there are several cafés within walking distance of the property.

Lovely old hotel right in the city centre with tram and bus stops right outside the front and a short walk to the train station. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room where we could also see the snow-topped mountains. The staff were very polite and helpful, storing our luggage for us on our last day. Geneva is a very expensive city to visit, so this hotel was a great bargain.

The staff are terrific and very responsive. They are very easy to reach and accommodating. We were each provided with a pass for public transportation for free, which was a very nice touch. We chose this hotel 100% on the location and the fact that we were only spending one night in Geneva and did not care in spending a lot of money, especially since we are a family of six. We had no intention of spending too much time in the hotel. For that purpose, this hotel met that expectation completely. I would warn, though, if you plan to stay here, that should be YOUR intention as well. The rooms are very small and starkly dressed. Our room had one chair and a very tiny, iPad size TV. The room was clean as were the sheets. You do have your own bathroom. But it simply is not made for families with small children because there is not enough room. Our children are much older and so they were able to get their own rooms. Location is outstanding and an easy walk to the waterfront and sites of Geneva and it is safe.

It had a kettle, tea/coffer facilities but no milk.I did find a Co op mini supermarket next to the main train station, about 10 mins away.There is a fridge in the room as well, Excellent wifi ,and the shower room was excellent with hot running water. It was quiet as well.

I upgraded and my room was fantastic. Front desk was so kind. WHAT A VIEW. Only thing missing was the balcony flowers in February. LOVED my stay and wish it was longer. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed and pillows I've ever had and I sleep in about 100 different hotel beds a year!

Our room was ready when we arrived which was 2 hours before the stated check-in time which was very convenient and perfect for us to get out exploring Geneva straight away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and it was great to get a free map and travel cards - the public transport was really useful. The room was ideal for our one night stay. The room and the ensuite were clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a safe and the view across the river was great. It was quiet in the hotel which allowed us to relax after a long day exploring. The only cons were at first there was a slight smoking smell in the room but it did clear and the shower tray is quite shallow so it would flood if you were in there longer than a few minutes, but other than that we were really happy with our stay so thank you!

It is a charming old building with French windows looking out on the river. It is convenient to the old city, museums and lots of restaurants. The reason I gave it a 3 is that the rooms are very basic and my bathroom was tiny. Still it worked out well for me since I was coming and going from the train station which is a walkable distance.

We arrived over an hour before the official check-in time and amazingly our room was ready so we were able to access it straight away. We had a lovely view over the river from our balcony, exactly as advertised. The only negative we found was that the room was very hot overnight but the hotel did provide a fan which helped a bit. All of the staff who we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Tourelles is a basic hotel right along the waterfront and within easy walk of public transportation. It’s in the downtown, so it’s loud. It’s an older hotel, so there’s no a/c , and opening the window to the balcony means letting the significant noise and light in. The bathroom is tiny but had everything we needed, including a hairdryer. The staff are friendly. It met our needs perfectly; we just had a hard time finding the promised nearby public parking. To be clear, there is NO parking at the premises though they do provide a discount ticket to offset the parking fees. Did I mention its in a great location?

We decided the hotel was totally misrepresented. Our reservation was for 2 beds the 1 bed wasn't even a full size. The bathroom was not hygienic, the neighborhood was no where near old town. In addition, the staff was rude, argumentative and not willing at all to accommodate. We left and stayed at a different hotel loosing $380 because they would not honor our request.

If you are going to book this hotel, just be sure you see a photo of the bathroom in the room you are booking. The first room we booked had a bathroom that I would have paid more to avoid. However, the bed was broken in that specific room and they staff was absolutely accommodating in transferring our room the next day, and the bathroom in the new room was much more appealing.

The hotel location is great, very close to touristic areas, good connections with public transportation. The room was exactly what I imagined from reading other reviews. It was comfortable and it had everything that I needed. The hotel staff was very helpful, they kindly asking a few questions I had about transportation and getting around. This is my favorite hotel in Geneva for low-key, low-cost stay...nothing fancy and there is no real restaurant or lounge, but rooms are clean and if you get a view, it is great.

The hotel is located in a convenient location, just slightly out of the main part of the city. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, although a bit small (though there’s not much to be done about that). While the room was mostly comfortable, there is a lot of noise coming from outside the window due to cars and motorcycles at night and the laundry delivery truck in the morning. On hot nights it was difficult to sleep without being able to keep the windows open.

The hotel is nicely located, we really just needed it for a night and to be close to the train station - we woke up early in the morning and walked to the station, about 10min or less. We arrived late at night, so the hotel provided very clear instructions on how to access the room - very much appreciated! The room, however, had a very strong cigarette smell, not very pleasing!

Booked 5 nights for a business trip. The room was so badly isolated, the road noise barely allowed any sleep. After one night, I preferred to book another hotel and pay two rooms for four nights than stay another night in this place.
The nice guy at the reception promised a feedback and follow up email. Never heard anything from them, even after sending them a message on the hotels.com app myself.
Rather pay a bit more for a decent hotel than book this and pay twice.

Amazing location, great staff and beautiful view from the room. Everything was clean and the room was practical. Just one thing to know is that the hotel staff finishes early in the day, so you will need another plan in case you are thinking of leaving luggages with them after check out!
