Location is incredible. Rooms are beautiful and the entire property is exceptionally clean. Check-in was breeze & there was a doorman to assist with my bags. I don’t recall the exact name for my room type, but highly recommend the basic king with balcony - it costs less than the slightly larger king but has a view of the river when sitting outside.
Remember this is a boutique hotel so certain amenities are lacking. While the front desk team is gracious, they do not have a concierge to assist with dining and activities.
The in-house restaurant is nice - even if you’re not crazy about the cuisine, the waiters are charming and work very hard to take care of you.
I can’t wait to have a reason to return.

This is by far my favorite hotel to stay in Geneva! The location is very central to shopping, restaurants, sight seeing, and activities on both sides of the lake. The hotel needs a Bar. There is one on an upstairs balcony but each time we wanted to go was told it's full or closed. The Restaurant was at the next door hotel and we were told each time we tried to go that it was fully booked or all seats reserved.

This hotel is in one of the best locations in Geneva. It is next to the old city and all the shopping. You can just walk right out your door and be in the middle of it all. The hotel itself is a classic and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning there in the future.

Great Old Hotel in Geneva

Boutique Historic Hotel in the Heart of Old Town

We walked from the train station to the hotel. It was about a 15 minute walk through the city, across the bridge and right by the famous flower clock before arriving at the hotel. The hotel is located on a quaint square. Check in was easy. The lobby was eclectic and sophisticated. Like many European hotels, the elevators are small and only fit 2 people with luggage. The rooms are not huge, but nicely furnished and comfortable. I am pretty sure the floors in the bathroom were heated, which was an awesome perk. The location is super central to the highlights in Geneva and the old town. Would defiantly stay here again.

The property is perfectly located and is situated on a comfortable open square that make you feel safe and gives an upscale appearance for the hotel. It is 1 block away from the Geneva lake bridge and in the middle of the high end shopping and dining district. The hotel definitely feels and looks like a 4 or 5 star accommodation. Breakfast and dinner were great and excellent food. Stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights

Great Hotel, wonderful location

The hotel was perfect for our needs; easy access from the airport, close to the lake and close to the shops.

The only issue was the problem with the internet, but reception helped to sort this out!

Hotel is great. The rooms are a little small. Not an issue if you're just sleeping there. For folks that are traveling Europe, it becomes tough to move about the room when each person has a large's an issue with my wife and I piece of luggage.

Hotel Longmalle is very nice overall. We initially found our room a bit small, but grew to like it. It is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The common areas are beautiful, especially the restaurant where we had breakfasts and one lunch, and the lobby. Outstanding food. Pleasant staff. Recommended.

Hôtel Longemalle is a great short stay option in Geneva, close to the shops and attractions and only a 10 minute walk to the closest beach front where you can relax when the weather is hot. The breakfast has a good selection and the Lebanese restaurant is great and a place you should definitely book before your stay as it can become very busy. The rooms are spacious enough with plenty of storage, the mini bar should have small milk capsules and tea bags as black coffee only is a little limited for a hotel of this class.

Average and over priced for the service levels

Room was lovely but very small and very hot. Despite asking 3 times over the 2 night stay to fix the air conditioning this was not fixed and zero communication. Also breakfast being closed at 9.55am on a Saturday morning is poor for such an expensive hotel (we were told breakfast to 10.30am at check in.. which is quite early anyhow!). Overall the operation of the hotel needs to improve - especially at the price charged where I expect it to be perfect.

The hotel's facilities are limited and not as listed online. The gym is not actually part of the hotel, it is offsite at another location. The rooms are way too small and mattresses are too soft as if they are very old. Certainly not a hotel to share a room with anyone.

Our room did not have a safe or a mini ref or coffee as advertised. (Room 310) In the morning, we wanted to use the gym. The staff provided us with a key card to access the gym which is located about a block away. When we got to the gym, it was closed. It did not open until 9am. We wish they would have told us that and not have given us the access key instead of wasting our time. The cleaning staff was wonderful, and so was the location. Unfortunately the bad overshadowed the good this time. We can’t help but feel ripped off. We are also hotels.com gold members- at the very least, we expected to get the room and services we paid for.

Expected it to be nicer to be honest. Room is quite nicely laid out but the sheets had minor stains (looked like make up) and the carpet was also quite stained. The room was clean however.
Mini bar and room service selections were decent. Room service pretty quick too.
Not sure why you have to call reception for a bathrobe? I did this and was asked to come down as there was only 1 person on reception - not ideal so I didn't bother in the end.
Wouldn't rush to return but it is conveniently located which is definitely a plus compared to others in Geneva.

It was a very pleasant stay - beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The room size was much smaller than expected for the price. We thought we would have a balcony and that there was a rooftop terrace but the advertisement was misleading. Though we have no complaints it was a little over-rated.

The hôtel receptionists and governesses were amazing! I had a surprise planned for my husband and they totally delivered. They decorated the room with balloons and flower petals! Thank you so much for making it so special!

Overall a beautiful hotel in a great location, close to everything. But we arrived by car, and the hotel has no parking. There is a public lot nearby (5-10 min. walk). Also, There is major construction going on across the street, and the noise starts about 7:30 a.m. I would not have stayed here if I'd known this. We had a room on the second floor. We asked for a higher floor but they said no. Meanwhile the hotel was nearly empty. Not very accomodating. Courteous, but not friendly.

Perfect location for ease of getting to old town and the bus to CERN plus shopping although, the shopping is mostly high end. Beautifully renovated with stylish design. The restaurant staff were not helpful. Also, they said there was a gym but it’s not in the building and you have to make a reservation, not an easy access.

A night in Geneva.

The hotel is located perfectly in the center close to shops and restaurants. The room is very clean. Love the heated bathroom floor. The only thing is bad about this place is the customer service at reception. At checkin, customer service is great. The lady was very nice, even recommended a great place to eat. But at checkout, the man at the counter is not so. Spotty customer service.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location, the staff were friendly and helpful. Geneva is a wonderful city to visit.
The only fault was the lack of food at breakfast and only two staff on duty for a very busy time. Once the food had been eaten it was not topped up, for instance a busy Saturday morning with no bread, meats or cheese was very disappointing for a hotel of this standard and price.
