Reception staff were very helpful , good location only 5 minutes from railway station & lake.
Our room a hallway smelt a bit musty & also smelt of cigarette smoke. hallway & lift carpets were disgustingly dirty and threadbare. Breakfast was reasonable but didn't realise it would be delivered on a tray to our room each morning rather than have a buffet breakfast room. so had to choose a time for our tray to be delivered each morning, although it was always delivered with a smile.

This is a lovely property. We booked a balcony with a retractable awning (with a spiral staircase to the room!) with excellent views of Geneva and the lake. Easy access to the old town, markets and the Lake itself. The room had underfloor heating and the bed had a memory foam mattress (or similar) and had an excellent nights sleep. Only downside was the room itself was a bit tired, but that’s it. Great

The lady working on reception was extremely welcoming and helpful. Sadly the room itself was terrible. The bottom of the bathroom door was rotten through water damage and the walls were very thin so we could hear other guests throughout the night. The bedroom door was difficult to shut properly, and needed to be slammed shut. Our main bedroom light did not work so we had to use the desk lamp to light the room. The location was good- close to the station and also Lake Geneva. Overall I would not stay here again.

El hotel nos encanto! Esta cerca del centro de Ginebra, es muy cómodo ir caminando. La zona es linda, fácil de llegar desde la estación de trenes y fail para ir al centro histórico. La atención fue excelente, la habitación estuvo mas que bien, cómoda, espaciosa, con escritorio, armario, plancha y todo lo necesario. El baño es grande y estaba impecable. También te dan un TK para moverse por la ciudad sin abonar en transporte. Excelente, nada para aclarar.

Clean room with beautiful view from the deck. It was well located and had a kitchen. Easy walk to/from the train to the airport. Of note, we did have to climb a small, circular set of stairs to get to our room. Not a problem for us, but could be for folks less mobile.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. This is definitely a budget hotel so you get what you get. But the standards were sub-par. The room was not cleaned throughly at all. There was mold in the bathroom tiles. There was dust everywhere! The mattress was disgusting, it was covered in dust and hair.
The facilities were good and the kitchen was well equipped, however the rooms were rather small.
The area where this hotel is located is not particularly nice and not safe. If you are staying alone I would not recommend staying here!
The staff were welcoming but communication with the hotel was limited. Overall my stay was not pleasant and I would not be staying here again.

Good place to stay, love the reception staff, all super nice and speak different languages. There was some working around the hotel, but they did their best to accommodate our request for a quiet room, even letting us enter the room before check-in time. Apart from one morning without water that the hotel quickly fixed, I couldn't fault anything. Rooms are small but with everything you need, close to the city center and the train station, perfect for having something to eat as the city can be expensive. The mattress could be a bit better.

This property does not look anything like the picture it’s very outdated very rundown the AC control looks like something from the medieval times the kitchen is very old dirty very outdated . I would stay away until they maybe do something to this hotel they need major upgrades for the money they are charging. This is a motel not a hotel.

This was a good place to stay for 5 days because had a decent little kitchen with fridge and very well stocked crockery. It’s a little aged and it’s in the red light district so is a bit noisy at night. But the front desk staff were great in solving problems. Worth a try.

From the minute Yassine greeted us we were pleased that we chose the hotel.
The location is good and you can get to the Lake and train station easily.
Yassine pointed us to restaurants and attractions and organised a travel pass too- nothing was too much trouble.
We had booked for breakfast but the hotel breakfast place was closed for an upgrade. However, Florence delivered 5 continental breakfasts every morning of our stay. The food was plentiful!
It was actually nice to have a little kitchenette as we made sandwiches one lunchtime and the washing up liquid and cleaning cloths were also supplied. The space was very clean.
The aircon took a bit to crank up, and our view of the \"park\" with the homeless and ladies of the night was worrying but we felt safe despite this.

Location Location Location, great 3 star aparthotel with everything you need, I was a solo traveler and the room was very comfortable for me and included all the amenities that I needed. It was clean, the shower pressure is strong and hot water is plenty, nice and quick check in, I received a transportation pass with my stay which is very convenient and saves money since bus and train tickets are not cheap. I stayed for 4 days and I really liked the area, very lively with many things to do, 3 minutes walk to the main train station, many restaurants and cafe, grocery stores, gym etc. nearby. It is close to the \"red light district\" but whoever lived or visited Geneva before knows that its very small and not dangerous/sketchy like big cities' cliche ed light districts so don't worry, on the contrary, it is part of the charm of that area.

Good hotel near river. Friendly staff. Quiet. Safe building. We had balcony but hotel is too short to see river. Kitchenware plenty. Large fridge. Tv had many channels with 6 main languages each. Fr, It, Eng, Ge, Sp and Arab. Would definitely go back. Bathroom is smallish but fine. Sadly there's a legal red light district 4 blocks away otherwise it would be perfect.

Perfectly located studio in central Geneva

Lovely property overlooking the lake (studio with balcony) and very close to the main station. Plenty of bars, restraurants and shops nearby.
Studio was adequate for one but would have been awkward for two people. Kitchen was spotless and well equipped. Bathroom was tiny (could do with a smaller sink) but clean and had everything I needed. The balcony was a lovely touch to my trip but didn't spend time on it and it was a spiral staircase to walk up. I only had a backpack so fine but would take some negiotation with a proper suitcase. The floor was a bit dirty (got black feet when walking around bare foot) but it could have been from having the balcony door open. Definitely stay here again as it was safe and the reception staff were super friendly, perfect English and always availble. Thank you.

Loved this place, amazing views, easy to get everywhere.
Loved that you get free pass for the bus,trams and the water boats in Geneva. If you need it or just want to do something different.
I would highly recommend this place to stay.
Only thing it was hot in the room at all times couldn’t find aircon so left the balcony door open at night.
Staff was wonderful and helpful.
We had an awesome time can’t wait to come back.

Do better, stay elsewhere, poor hotel with poor housekeeping.
Great location as shown on line. Unfortunately hotel room did not live up to marketing photos.
7th floor room, so had to lug 2 large travel cases up a spiral staircase to reach room. Front desk did assist with 1. Literally nowhere to open, store then use contents of cases, however cobbled together a table & 2 chairs into a bench, which left nowhere to sit & eat.
Floors filthy as evident by dirt washing off our feet when in the shower. Room 712 also included free spider webs above door to balcony, and in several locations above the television.
Aircon desperately needs an upgrade, barely enough cold air to keep temp below 30 degrees C at 3am, made for a couple of very uncomfortable nights.
After first night went looking for housekeeping to see when room was to be refreshed. Bumped into a team only to be told “no no no, housekeeping only after 5 days.” After a difficult translation from French to English I did manage a new set of towels, which felt like a major victory.

The accommodation is currently undergoing renovations however this did not affect our stay at all. Location good, short walk to train and lake. ATMs close by (better rate on cash than ATMs at airport). Reception was friendly. The hotel is clean with decent sized rooms with large windows. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a spot that has shopping and dining options nearby and a quick walk to the main shopping street. The only downside is that the rooms have connecting doors to the adjacent rooms, so you can hear the neighbor a little more than one would like who is a light sleeper!

The location of hotel is perfect, walkable to all sights or take public transportation. The room is equipped with a kitchenette and is specious. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Only thing minus is the bunk bed is too soft and room is not sound proof as we always heard other guests chatting.

Very good communication throughout the stay and the free travel information provided for use throughout the Canton was very welcome. Friendly and welcoming staff and the location was close to the main transport links but also walking distance to the old town. There was some improvement work taking place but I was informed beforehand and it was never intrusive. The kitchen was very useful on the couple of days there was rain and didn't feel like heading out in it. All in all a very pleasant stay

I loved everything about my stay at Aparthotel Adagio. The duplex was great for the 5 of us. The view from the 6th floor of the lake and the fountain was fantastic. I really appreciated the little details like LIQUID soap in the bathrooms (instead of the standard bar soap). It is so convenient close to the railway station as well as all the attractions in Lake Geneva. I wil definitely stay here again.

I pay for the balcon view ( in the photos the view look so great and beautiful) but really the view was very bad and for the back of the building so only I view the building of back. Really not was a nice view for the price, the room was in a second floor and only have stairs when I open the room. So we have to left the baggages down and go down everytime I need something. The bathroom was very very small (litterally 2 x 2 feets). I believe the price was very high to what we obtain.

They were very informative at the front desk and gave us a public transportation pass for free for our time there. Very nice. They delivered breakfast to our room. Continental type breakfast. It was good. This picture is misleading because we had a balcony view and you could only see a tiny piece of the lake. Also the balcony rooms were nice, but they need to get rid of the plants and all the leaking water that is molding on the balcony floor. Also a heads up that the balcony rooms have a spiral staircase you have to climb. Love the room. Would stay again. Just good to know about the stair case the having to take your bags up.

Lovely studios with balconies.

Really loved the studio apartment with a balcony (on the top floor). It was recently refurbished, so everything was new and well maintained. The kitchenette was small but well stocked. The bed was great. We had a great view of the Jet D'Eau, Mount Blanc, the pre-Alps and the Jura from the balcony.

Please note:

1. Room cleaning is once a week, not daily. Daily cleaning is available for 20 francs a day.
2. The top floor studios have a landing (where you can store your luggage) and then you climb a spiral staircase to reach the apartments. If stairs are a problem, get a studio that is not on floor 6/7.

These studio apartments are affordable and a great choice if you need a bit more than a bed and bath hotel room, but don't want to rent a full appartment.

Though the property is well planned we found the whole premises to be outdated, and in need of renovation. This is a pretty good option for a few days. The staff I dealt with were great. I wish the booking info made it clearer that the room has a pull down bed. It's pretty heavy. The wifi wasn't good enough for work calls, which is a major drawback in these work-from-home days. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but the pans are badly worn and I nearly brought the plates down on my head from those high shelves so that could do with some rethinking.

The hotel failed to mention that there were building renovation works taking place. The common areas of the hotel were dirty, there were exposed pipes in the corridors and drilling started at 7:30am! Additionally, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor and from the room, even though the hotel has a non smoking policy. We had a terrible night's sleep and we couldnt wait to leave. When we checked out, the person on reception didnt ask us how our stay was. He probably knew the answer...

A little bit outdated. Website pics were done years ago. But still a comfortable stay right in the centre of Geneva, with all the sights at walking distance, as well as many restaurants, bars and shops.

We loved the location of this hotel. The roominess was wonderful and balcony was a welcomed sight to let us see Lake Geneva and snow capped mountains!

Perfect location as it’s a few steps away from the Geneva Lake, it’s also close to shops and restaurants! The room itself is very clean and beautiful. The staff are very welcoming, they also give a free transport card for trans, buses, boats and trains. Which was perfect for us as we used to go to the other side of the lake on the boat which was lovely. Perfect stay overall!
We have no dislikes with or around the hotel.

Weekend in Geneva

One night stay in Geneva. Great room with a surprising amount of facilities for the price! Location was fab and the staff were friendly on check in (also bilingual). No complaints!

The location of the apartments is fabulous and the free travel ticket around Geneva is a welcome bonus. The room was okay it had everything we needed, the bed was very comfy and the kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pans utensils etc. The paint work could do with a little touch up but it was clean. The only downside was the fact the aircon doesn't work, although its nice to come into a warm room when its cold outside it was a little too hot, we had a room at the back of the building so it was okay to have the window open without much noise but a front facing apartment may be a bit noisier. The reception staff were lovely and although we didn't eat in the restaurant the breakfast did look good. If you are staying in Geneva i would recommend an apartment as it is very expensive to dine out so the convenience of being able to cook your own food is great.
