Overall, it is good. We had a family suite, and it was comfortable for the kids. The air conditioning did not seem to work properly, which made sleeping a big difficult as it was really warm, even with the window open. The gym was a small room, again no AC and machines could use some service. Options are limited. Breakfast was amazing. It was great for the family and lota of variety. When booking, it seemed like parking was included, but it was an additional cost that we didn't expect.

Property right next to a bus stop that takes you to Jardin Botanique. I was traveling with 2 other adults and 1 child. Experience was good. Only issue was with getting hot water in the bath which was resolved in a minutes as it turns out we had to turn the knob farther. Overall server it’s purposed while I was on business.

Very nice hotel in a nice central part of town, plus close to trams and buses.
The room was kept perfectly clean. We had a very comfortable bed, there was a safe and a handy little fridge. Very nice contemporary art downstairs, silent corridors and overall very good. Don’t forget to hang the ”don’t disturb ” sign on the handle during the night, to avoid being awoken by mistake by the early bird cleaner. Some extra sachets of powder cream would have been nice for the coffee, but there is nothing more to say. Friendly staff, quiet street. I will come back.

Parked where receptionist told us to. Confirmed this was right. He insisted. Got towed and had to pay 500 euros. They refused to get management and contribute but wrote and confirmed they were at fault and said to park there.
Breakfast not “huge”.
Coffee in room - twin room and only 1 sachet, and couldn’t get into it.
Good shower.
Big room.
Small gym.
Not the nicest residential area.

A Clean Well-Lighted Place

This hotel is exactly what we needed in Geneva. Reasonably priced, quiet, clean and comfortable. The hotel provides passes for the local bus and tram service, so you're able to get everywhere in Geneva for next extra cost. We would definitely stay here again and at other Fassbind properties.

We stayed in Room 205 which, despite being described as a 'Superior Room', was 'tired' and in need of renovation. The most obvious items were:
1 The wallpaper was scuffed and torn in places, particularly by the door and by the window.
2 All the paintwork in the room was grubby and in need of a re-paint.
3 The net curtains need to be washed or replaced (one curtain had a hole.)
4 The paintwork at the base of the sliding door to the wardrobe was worn, looked poor and was in need of repainting.
5 The bathroom had evidently suffered an overflow at some time as both the floor by the bathroom and the door and door frame showed evidence of water damage that had not been repaired.
6 The bathroom shower refused to stay in one position and instead slid down to bath level when in use!
7 Neither LED bedside reading light worked. One was completely missing.
Room 205 could not be described as a 'Superior Room'
We did however, appreciate the good choice of food available at breakfast and the excellent service provided by the lady responsible for the breakfast area.

There is a lot to say about this awful hotel. We booked this hotel a year ago when it showed 4 star rating and it appears it’s now 3 star. I don’t know how they achieved 3 star as they don’t deserve 1 star. We arrived at the hotel in evening to check in and the door was open and no staff to be seen - there is one staff left at night to deal with all issues of hotel - Annas was absolutely lovely and deserves 5 star for his service but the hotel service was appalling. We felt very unsafe at the hotel as anyone could walk in randomly. The hotel is very dated and fixtures are broken. We changed our room 5 times due to drainage smells, flies in second room, room not cleaned and full of dust on 3rd room and then bath blocked so we were unable to shower. The 5 room changes caused so much inconvenience and 3hrs to do. This caused alot of stress moving luggage’s and etc. it was late and we didnt need this after a busy day exploring.
The hotel management were aware of the issues and were not helpful in providing refund through Expedia or rectifying situation. Thankfully we only booked 1 night and we couldn’t wait to leave at 6am for our onward journey.

I came for a 48 hour business trip and basic ammenities were not available such as an iron. I understand all rooms in Europe often don’t have irons, but when I called to inquire front desk said they would send one and simply never did. The room was very hot and could not shut off heater and there were lights in the room that weren’t working and stayed on all night.

I stayed here last year when it was owned by NH and it was great so I decided to book it again for my most recent trip this year. Unfortunately, now under new management with Fassbind, the quality of stay dropped quite significantly, which is too bad. It felt more like a budget hotel this time around - nespresso machines have been removed from the rooms and replaced with Nescafé, my room was not cleaned daily, no slippers or robe provided, mugs were dirty, mini fridge was empty, nice soaps and lotions removed from the wall and replaced with poor quality plastic bottles…even the nice lemon and mint water dispenser removed from the reception - all nice little inexpensive touches that would generally make a stay more comfortable. I don’t think I will stay again at Fassbind.

Doesn't worth the stay

Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The staff, in particular, displayed a lack of friendliness and seemed more focused on additional charges than guest satisfaction.

One notable incident involved being charged an exorbitant fee of 20 Francs to borrow an adapter for my computer. To add insult to injury, I later discovered the same adapter available for purchase at a mere 7 Francs. This kind of pricing policy left me feeling taken advantage of.

Moreover, the room I was allocated had a surprising and unhygienic surprise inside the safe—an opened and used bottle of nut oil. Not only was this unsightly, but it also resulted in me getting my hands dirty as I had to remove the item myself.

The breakfast experience didn't fare any better. The staff doubted my inclusion of breakfast and insisted on proof, forcing me to seek assistance from the receptionist to verify my entitlement. Such skepticism from the breakfast staff only added to the overall unpleasantness of my stay.

Regrettably, my time at NH Hotel was marred by these incidents, making it highly unlikely that I would choose to stay there again in the future. I hope this feedback prompts improvements for the benefit of future guests.

Cons: Main entrance with steps (approx. 10) which is very difficult when you have luggage. The bathtub is very high - Fall alert. I had some problems with the TV.
PROS: Trams stop a block an a half away. The hotel has several small grocery shops and restaurant around it. Hotel personnel, the best, they came immediately to fix the TV when I called. Right next to the hotel there is an amazing restaurant \"Trigal\", don't miss it.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We were only there for one night leaving for Chamonix the next day. However, it was close to the airport and close to the city so that we could explore on foot.

The hotel has recently been renovated and looks very good. It's not your cookie cutter chain hotel but has character. Rooms are large and we'll equipped including Nespresso coffee makers. Bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast offered a good collection of hot and cold choices.
Definitely would stay again and recommend this hotel

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast is very good.
Daily necessary personal needs can be obtained from groceries and pharmacies located 5-minute walk distance, as well as the tram station.
The location is convenient. The Downtown is 10 minutes away by car, and the same for the train station Gare Geneve Cornavin.

The room was great, very cozy and comfortable. The only issue we had was the bathroom. There was no drape or curtain for the bathroom window, which made it so everyone on the top floor apartments across the street could look in easily while we were in the shower or using the toilet. The toilet also smelled badly. It got a little better, and not enough for the room to stink, but a little unpleasant when in the bathroom. But honestly don’t let that deter you from selecting this hotel. Overall we loved it, these were just small things that could be fixed easily.

Staff is very friendly and helpful but I wish they knew more about timings of monuments, musiums etc. UN tour was avaible on Saturday but we assumed it is closed and missed that.
Bathroom shower floor is very slippery. I fell. They need to put a bath mat there. Overall it is a basic hotel but close to bus stops.
