The woman who checked us in was lovey, but the reception staff for the rest of the day didn’t care. I was waiting at the bar for a drink (which was directly opposite reception) and not one person came up to serve me. They were not serving anyone else but rather messing around with each other (4 of them.) The bedroom was basic but decent, unfortunately the bathroom meant water went everywhere as it was more of a shower room than a separated shower. Overall an okay hotel but there are far better in the area at the same price point.

Only stayed the 1 night, but within 10 minutes walking from the Central station, hotel is easy to find, on the Number 8 bus route with a stop very close to the hotel, the room was clean and tidy and we had no issues, and would have been happy to stay longer. We also stopped at Ibis Centre Lac before and this Ibis has better sized rooms I'm comparison and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Geneva

Overall, the hotel is good and meets basic expectations.
The breakfast is good, with a reasonable variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Points to improve: the room was excessively warm and difficult to cool down. The mattress felt old and was not comfortable, and the pillows were very poor, which negatively affected sleep quality.
With improvements to room comfort—especially the bedding and temperature control—the experience could be much better.

I had an excellent five-star stay at this hotel. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. The location is perfect, making it convenient to get around and enjoy the surrounding area.

The staff service was truly amazing—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. Outstanding service, excellent location, and a beautiful property. I would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Stores nearby, easy garage underground parking for 30 francs. Check in/out was easy. About a 20 min walk to the English garden and Old Town. Rooms we had were bigger than expected and comfortable beds.

Our review would have been better however on our arrival day (and late into the evening) we found hairs in our bedsheets and in the towels. The room had not been completely cleaned although room and bathroom themselves were clean. Night manager very apologetic and changed the bedding & towels almost immediately. Compensation for hotel night stay was not forthcoming, but offered accor hotel membership with benefits and additional points from this stay.

Hotel overall is pretty good with breakfast restaurant and bar facility + outside patio area to rear. Convenient to Geneva Cornavin Train Station with bus services. Easy walking distance United Nations, botanic garden and down to the lake.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. The bar and restaurant were inviting although we didn't use them. The ATM in the lobby was very helpful. The room was okay. There was not enough light in the bathroom, no hand towels, and no wash cloths. There was no shelf in the shower to place items. The air conditioning worked but it was very minimal. The mattress for the bed did not fit the base; there was about 6 inches of mattress hanging off that caused discomfort as well as not being safe! I practically fell out of bed because the bed dropped off! I requested an additional pillow, towels, and sheet and had to ask 3 times before they finally arrived.

They had WiFi problems while we were there, and it never worked the whole 6 days we stayed there. We ended up having to get a SwissCom esim card for our phone to use as a hotspot from some Zoom work meetings that we needed to get on.
There is no small refrigerator to keeps some cool drinks in the room, nor ice on any of the floors. You have to go ask for a glass of ice at the bar.
Otherwise it was a good hotel and a fine place to stay.

Affordable hotel in Geneva. Only 1400metres from the Brunswick Monument and 15-20 minutes walk into the historical part of time. Public transport available, but I chose to walk. Only 15 minutes walk from Geneva station with luggage. Room was comfortable and bathroom clean. Good buffet breakfast. Area felt safe as a solo female traveller. Definitely recommend this Ibis hotel

Well lest try to explain why the really bad review, the hotel room is not so bad little small and smelly, but the service is horrible, i stay in this hotel 1 week ago, we do the check out and after 30 min i remember i left my gold chain in the night stand, 100 % sure i left in there, the chain was in my hair and i need to put out, so i call the hotel in that moment, i was in the train going to Paris,
they answer have a lot a work for go to check the room, so i need send a email and wait for see the cleaning lady find the item. well i dont have more option so i send the email, i have answer 1 day later, the answer was, we gonna check whit the cleaning crue and we email again if the item was found ..... 7 days later not answer i call 2 times email 5 times and same answer in the phone we can do nothing you need send a email. my last email ask only for have a answer if find the gold chain or not (of course not answer) im 100 % sure the cleaning lady keep the gold chain or maybe the receptionist go and take it,
But my big problem in this situation is the workers in the hotel dont care about the clients and robber, they know you cant come back so is easy ignore you and keep yours belongs, horrible experience. DONT STAY IN HERE THEY ROBBER YOUR BELONGS

Fantastic Hotel.

Absolute ideal for your stay in Geneva. You know what you're getting with an Ibis and you can't go wrong with this one. Great location, supermarket and restaurants practically on the door step and only a 15 minute walk to the train station. Friendly staff, all great at speaking English. Nice room, decent size, good spacious clean bathroom, and very comfortable bed. Best past was the TV, you can log into Netflix and YouTube and it also has BBC1, BBC2 and Channel 5. We didn't eat during our stay but the in Hotel small shop is very expensive, as expected, a bottle of water was 4CHF in the supermarket it was 1CHF.

Reserved this location in error, and after chatting with Hotels.com for a considerable amount of time, they would not allow me to change to the hotel I needed through their website. So I booked the correct hotel through a different company. I’m saddened that Hotels.com has lost me as a long and loyal customer.

I had requested parking well in advance, confirmed through pre-arrival communication, only to find upon arrival that no arrangements had been made. This oversight was both inconvenient and frustrating, especially given my specific advance request.

The reception experience was equally troubling. I overheard staff members making derogatory and offensive remarks in French, under the apparent assumption that I wouldn’t understand. Such unprofessional behavior, particularly at the front desk, is wholly inappropriate and left me with a distinctly negative impression of the hotel’s culture and respect for guests.

Overall, the service at this establishment did not meet even the most basic standards expected from a professional hospitality environment.

This is a budget hotel - it was very clean and our room was relatively spacious but the bathroom lacked some main features such as a place inside the shower to place our soap and shampoo. They had their own but we didn’t use it. The more we’re bo tower hacks to hang towels - but the towels were very clean and comfortable. Very well located.

Was hoping there was a fridge and coffee machine in the room but there weren't. Not always automatic in Europe.
Next to 2 little park that have a \"pataugeoire\" ideal for young kids. And a little outdoor eco friendly bar.

Hotel did not have air conditioning as they stated in their advertisement. It's very uncomfortable to sleep all sweaty and 85° weather. The room was otherwise very small and with very basic amenities (sa no conditioner, no shampoo, only 1 small pillow per guest, bed was thin and firm).

Nice hôtel near the train station. The staff was really nice. The room is clean but no AC at the hôtel and it was really hot. The staff explained to me that its prohibed to have AC in geneva. The details of the room in the website of hotel.com should be corrected because its false. We cancelled our last night because it was too hot in the room.

Wonderful front staff. Wonderful property. Only complaint is I was woken up by a lady knocking at my door claiming to have had the room the day before and left her lap top. She was frantic, and with that it threw the front desk staff into panic and they gave her a key to my room. Thankfully I had the door dead-bolted as well. I would not have been happy had she of came into the room while I was sleeping OR while I was out.. considering the desk gave her a key to access the elevator AND my room without checking to see if it was occupied. The oriental lady did NOT understand boundaries and personal space / awareness of others as she was adamant on entering my room regardless of If said no or not. Perhaps investing in ‘peep holes’ would be beneficial. Or training on how to cope / handle people in distress. I Couldn’t imagine this happening to someone who has PTSD. Other than that incident the hotel and staff were outstanding. (I’m understanding and able to give grace as it was a young gal who made the mistake and probably hasn’t dealt with such situations before)

We stayed here on business for 2 nights and unfortunately wouldn’t return. There were only 3 sockets in the room (2 French and 1 Euro) and they were situated no where near the bed which made it difficult to charge anything without having to get up and down!
The breakfast (19 Swiss francs each) was awful, cold scrambled egg, not enough choice and coffee machine wasn’t working properly (left for the day hungry). Whilst it is a clean hotel and location is ok (still a fair walk to the centre) the beds and pillows were so uncomfortable I did not sleep well at all on either night. If we return to Geneva this wouldn’t be my first choice of hotel.
