The floor was so sticky it sounded like the soles of my shoes were going to rip off. Not sticky enough to trap the roaches though! The first 2 floors smelled like a nursing home, the top 2 floors smelled like a factory for Goya foods. Was fairly quiet and the bathroom was clean though. Pimple patches stuck to the wall were a nice artful touch.

The first room we were given and walked to and opened with our key card was occupied. A woman came to the door as we were going to walk in to tell us that she lived there and had since April 2025. This was room#122. Someone might want to take a look at that room as it appears she is a hoarder. It was filthy. Then we were give a room on the second floor. There was a dirty washcloth laying on top of the phone and after being in the room for about an hour we killed three baby cockroaches. Someone might want to consider getting an exterminator in there. If there’s babies, there for sure is a momma strolling around. No coffee at all for guests. The front desk isn’t even manned the way it should be. When we went to check out at 9:30 the following morning there was no one at the front desk to even talk to about our concerns. In fact it was closed off completely. There were people loitering out front of the building that obviously were not guests of your hotel. This is our first and last time staying at your establishment. Whoever the owner is of this property might want to make a trip to it to see how it is being managed.

There was rust and mold on the fridge and dirty socks , the room reekd of something undefined and cheap cleaner and made my eyes water. Asking to move because I couldn't breathe made the attendant subversive and passive aggressive. Lots of transient people hanging around. No accommodations can be made with the attendant and trying to work thru the app while on premises was frustrating. Will look elsewhere because not considering staying again, ever. Mostly the attitude of the front desk and lack of consideration or convenience. Rude .

No amenities and above all asked for a handicapped room-none available! Desk clerk laughed that we wanted a handicapped room. All were full! Shoved us on the third floor end of hall. I’m using a walker. Didn’t think it was funny! Not recommending for anyone! Terrrisble stay!

No dishes or pans in the kitchen. Only 2 towels in my room. After prepaying I was informed that they charge $26 nonrefundable pet fee for pet cleanup. When did this start? Woke up by toddler playing in the hallway. Even after the renovation earlier this year, the carpets on the 3rd floor were stained and nasty.

This “hotel” is disgusting. We had to go through four different rooms to find a room that wasn’t smoky dirty. The door shut the beds made. This hotel is complete trash. I would not recommend anyone stay at it. Staff was just as bad and didn’t care that the rooms were disgusting and not clean.

I ended up checking out early to go somewhere else because there were bugs throughout the entire room. I’m not talking about 1 or 2, I get it’s Florida, but it was about 15 I killed the only night I stayed, from brown beetles to cockroaches. The staff was incredibly gracious and understanding when canceling and gave a full refund.

When I went to check in, the lady acted like I was bothering her. She was extremely rude, and did not want to answer questions. Snapped at me and was very slow to assist. The hotel had people hanging outside smoking and men were outside in groups. The smell was horrible. The carpets were stained very bad. Food in the middle of the hallway floor. I woke up with my door unlocked, thankfully I placed a chair. I did not feel safe. You can hear everything going on the floor. Window has no blinds to block the light, it beams into the room. The worse experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel in my life!

Me and my husband stayed at the Stay America hotel for only one night. We purchased for 3 days but we barely were able to stay there for one day, the room and the service was nice. However the floor we were on smelled very badly of smoke, plus the people staying around us were very loud all the way to 1 in the morning. We hurried on out and got a refund. What didn't help it looked nice on reviews till we got there and stayed a bit.. it felt like a horror movie. Would not recommend if you like to not smell smoke and hear loud banging till it's very late.

First I was given the key to an occupied room and almost walked into it.

But also my belongings were stolen from my car in the parking lot and they have no cameras looking at the parking lot. And they were of no help. The police came and I filed a report but tbh feels like the thief know there’s no camera and they just took my stuff.

I had a very disappointing experience. They assigned me a room that was already occupied by someone else. Fortunately, no one was in there at the time. I arrived right at 10 PM, just as the place was closing, and the staff was unwilling to assist me. Overall, the service was terrible.

This was terrible, they would not accept two separate forms of identification, I had my social security card and many other forms
Of identification, I was able to fly without issue with my forms of identification but the hotel wouldn’t take it? I also took an Lyft ride to this hotel and was stuck walking away when they told me I couldn’t check in with my VALID IDENTIFICATION. Even the first hotel I went to after had no problem taking my id. Terrible experience.

Web site stated free breakfast, there was no breakfast. Bed sheets were damp and smelly, WiFi password wouldn’t work, access in and out of building didn’t work, had to have my wife come down from room to let me back in lobby. Gross stuff dripping down walls. Only 1 little bar of soap in bathroom we used for hand washing, so no soap for shower. People in and outside hotel clearly on drugs and causing a scene. No tv guide. Terribly stained carpets and garbage in the hall leading to room. Elevator stunk like urine. Need I say more. My wife was pregnant and exhausted, we had brought all of our luggage up to the room already .. otherwise I would have asked for a refund and moved us elsewhere.

The gentleman working at the front desk was very unaccommodating. We were charged $1.75 for the linen be changed and they never were changed during our one day stay. When I asked him to explain why I was getting charged that even though the linen would not be changed in the time I was there he could not explain it.

This is the only place I have ever stayed at with such a stupid \"extra fee\". They charge you more when checking in. This was not mentioned on your website. Also there is no free breakfast as your website said which is all falsely advertising, lying to people. I am not happy with everything from here. The check in took 30 mins. The place was stinky. Cops were there arresting somebody as I was trying to check in. The whole place and experience was terrible and I will never stay there again.

Website states grab and go breakfast, upon arrival they have discontinued that and coffee service. Carpets on each floor are very dirty and horrible smell. The door to the lobby to check in was locked and needed a key card to enter, when you havent even checked in to get one yet. Very loud in the halls all day and night, as well as very uncaring staff. They will also upcharge you on everything, including utensils, plates etc. No soap, shampoo nor conditioner provided

Room was clean. No ice machine and the room was missing the remote. Also the bed is on a metal frame and the mattress kept sliding around. The breakfast is horrible. They have frozen muffins, no silverware or cups for the coffee. The night shift desk worker was very helpful in getting us checked in and getting us a remote.

Will Never Stay Here Again

When I arrived I mentioned that I might have to cut my stay short. The front desk said I needed to work with hotels.com as they were the ones I booked the stay with. The first card key I was given was for a different room. The second card key was for a room already occupied. Finally got a room with the third card key. The room was neat and clean, but clearly in need of an update. The walls were paper thin; I could easily hear conversations in adjacent rooms, even across the hall. The TV didn't work (came on with a menu, but the screen itself was black). Water leaked out of the vent in the bathroom. There was a lot of \"building\" noise, not sure what it was, but it was constant and annoying. Turns out, I did have to check out early, but I was denied a refund on the days I had already paid for. So they were able to book the same room and collect a daily rate from another guest even though I had already paid for it. Absolutely terrible customer service. Will definitely never stay with Extended Stay America again ... and will probably never book a stay through hotels.com again.

The only item that needs attention in cleanliness is the hall carpets. Residents hang out on curb of back door smoking. Safety a person just has to keep aware. Front desk team members at check-in and checkout were very friendly. Keep valuables hidden in car as the area and intersection can be a hangout.

When we first showed up, we waited at the front desk for 10 minutes without being helped. We finally got keys and walked in. It immediately smelled like smoke. Got to the room and the room was already open and there were no sheets on the bed. The elevator was sketch so we took the stairs. Constant smell of smoke even in the room, and everywhere.
They need to knock this building down and restart.

Great stay and great price point

The young lady that worked the desk on 4/21 for the night shift had great customer service! The room was very nice for the price point. Great lighting, large tv and bathtub. The only cons were the bed was not the best but made it work and the bathtub was dirty so I cleaned it with bleach wipes. The hotel was close to so many stores as well. The internet was very good ans well, I originally came there because they were doing tree work at my house annd wouldn’t have power, so I came there with my pup to do some work from the computer and enjoy the AC. I did pay the 6 dollars for speedy internet for the day but it seemed to work fine before purchasing aa well. Which was nice because sometimes I feel like an hotel will say they have internet and Then it barely works. I was annxious anbout that being that I had work to do. But everything worked out! The doors are locked ant anll times you can only enter with your room card which made me feel safe! The lighting in the parking lot was a little too dim for my liking but it wasn’t terrible. People would hang out there in their cars and what not at night so it made me a little off but no one bothered me. Overall I had a very peaceful stay and did not want to leave!

The lady in the front she kept telling us they have many room who they cannot be rent it because it’s something break in each room
So it’s very hard for them to switch the rooms and clean on between clients.
The sink in bathroom was barely working , the whole toilet was moving.
Nothing update. The light on the nightstand was full of rust.
No breakfast just a cereal bars

I made reservation very last minute but I called before and after making this reservation to make sure there was no problem when I got to the hotel the lady said they had nothing available. I told her I had a baby in the car and explained how many times I called how was that even posible after giving me the response it’s not our fault it’s the people who answer the phone “they over book us” she finally found a room which was accessible which I didn’t mind imagine 11 pm what else could I find. The room was okay but no lights would turn on. No crib for the baby which I asked for before arriving and also notified that I was checking in late. Never staying in that brand again.

Good for a Business Trip but not for a Vacation

Linda and Ricardo at the front desk were great! Anyone else was very unprofessional or extremely rude. But we did not know who they were as they did not wear name tags.

Not sure why they even had \"breakfast\". Everyday was the same sad pre-packaged tiny muffins, instant grits and oatmeal, and coffee with grinds in them. Creamer was good quality though.

Laundry room was large with a lot of machines but just one little table for folding and sorting. Used the machines twice-first time both machines and room were filthy. Much cleaner the second time.

Hotel room was large but empty. Uncomfortable bed. No nice chair or sofa even though room existed for one. Minimal storage even though it was supposedly a long term stay place (and a lot of people were living there unfortunately. Got to smell their cooking every night).

If you had anyone staying above you it was a rough night. You heard every footstep, every toilet flush, every scrape of the desk chair across the floor, all their music and TV shows. We also had a parking lot for a restaurant right outside our window. So a good nights sleep was hard to get.

No outside area to sit. No pool (my own fault that I picked the only hotel in south Florida without a pool). So if you were at the hotel you were stuck in your room.

Area was decent though. Lots of different restaurants within walking distance. Walmart was also close and Costco was a short drive away.

Would definitely not stay there again so please do not ask me to.
