We were awoken every morning to the sounds of construction above us, hammering, thuds of things being dropped, which started at 8am and continued throughout the day. One morning power to the hotel was off (likely due to the construction as the hotel was the only building without power on the street). We had previously stayed here before and truly enjoyed our stay but after this experience we will likely not stay again on our next trip. When we checked out we weren’t even asked how are stay was. For the price the stay was disappointing at best

Hotel staff was super helpful with reservations, advice, tips, very friendly. The rooms are very very small. Best pillows and bedding. Super soft towels. Room service was excellent. Everything was superb except for the most important thing. I made reservations for 2 double beds with a balcony. I got a confirmation regarding 2 double beds. I paid a price for 2 double beds. But when we got there there was only one bed. When I asked about the 2 double beds, I was told that these are 2 twin beds put together that we can separate to make 2 beds. This was absolutely not what I reserved or paid for. There was not enough space to separate the 2 beds. The room was tiny. The balcony was tiny as well, I don’t think we could even go outside to this balcony. I had to upgrade to a different bigger suite, pay even more money and I got a king bed, a couch (I was told they don’t have rooms with 2 beds) and no balcony. So although everything else was amazing, I felt that I was lied to in my reservations. I would have booked a different hotel with 2 beds. For this reason I will never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone. It’s very very expensive and truly not worth it.

Forget everything you heard of about Paris being difficult, from the minute we arrived after being cheated by the Parisian taxi, everything went well. We were warmly greeted and so pleased with all the friendly staff. The location of the hotel is perfect. The room was charming, and we were given a bottle of wine upon arrival and some lovely chocolate bars upon departure. The shower was perfectly designed with excellent water pressure. Enjoyed the stay immensely and would stay there again.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel & staff. It is within walking distance to both the Louvre & Metro, so it is well situated to travel within Paris. Hotel is smartly appointed with an eye for detail. Check-in was pleasant, quick & included a glass of champagne as well as a tour of the hotel. We opted for the 'Family Suite' which had 2 bathrooms & adjoining entry. Staff was attentive, friendly & very helpful. We had a misfortunate experience with our airline that resulted in our luggage being completely soaked. The entire staff was extremely attentive & provided immediate assistance and even supplied us with coins for the local laundry mat! The rest of the stay went like a breeze & fully enjoyed all the amenities the hotel had to offer. If you want to feel like royalty, without all of the fuss - the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal is for you!

Dreams come true in Paris

Everything was amazing. We stayed in their rooftop suite and loved the private balcony we had. The view of the Eiffel Tower was icing on the cake. Can’t beat the proximity to museums. Staff was excellent.

Only problem was adjusting shower in otherwise excellent bathroom (very jittery as to setting between cool and hot; perhaps a fluke in just our room).

Excellent staff, location was wonderful to get around Paris easily. We were near all of the museums, the metro and hotel was near many eateries and brassieres! Lovely room and accomodations and would definitively stay again when in Paris. Didn't have a chance to use the facilities on property as we had many tours and museum trips planned during our birthday trip stay, so hope to come back again soon to explore further. Hotel was clean, beautiful and staff was excellent and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice hotel with a good location and friendly staff, but not a \"grand hotel\" and not more than any four star hotel in Europe. Small room with the cleaning rack parked in front of our door during four days. We paid EUR 700 per night when the official price per night was EUR580 on the day we left. Quite a cheat!

Located conveniently in the heart of Paris the hotel offers both comfort and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for leisure.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Their professionalism and friendliness set the tone for the rest of my stay. Check-in was efficient, and within minutes, our room was not available for early checking. The staff offered to hold it our luggage until the room was ready so we could visit the city.
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed. The linens were clean and of high quality. The room was equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-refrigerator, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and decor was noticeable, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

The staff is very helpful and courteous!!!

Dining at the hotel's restaurant was an equally delightful experience. The food was prepared to perfection. Breakfast was not included in my stay, and the buffet featured a wide selection of fresh and delicious options each morning.

The fitness center is very small but I was able to get in my workout. The last night was a crying baby in the next room 😊.

Overall, Grand Hotel du Palais Royal provides superb accommodations and excellent service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris and look forward to returning on my next trip.

Beautiful hotel in a great location next to the Royal Palace and close to the Louvre, but still very quiet and secluded. We booked an executive room for 4 nights which was large with all amenities needed and a lovely view overlooking the Place de Valois. The breakfast was lovely and fresh with a great choice of products. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall an exceptional experience, we would love to return. Highly recommend.

The check-in experience at this property was top notch. I originally booked another hotel, but after arriving realized it did not work for my family we decided to move. We called Hotel du Palais Royale to inquire about options to fit a family of 4 and ultimately booked their Eifel Tower Suite. We arrived at the hotel less than 30 minutes after booking and the amount of work they did to set-up for our arrival was astonishing. We arrived to two handwritten notes and multiple welcome amenities in our room. When we came back later in the day they had dropped off even more items for our kids (stuffed animals, a book, candy). Throughout our stay, everyone was very accommodating. The only negative was their bar service. We stopped for a drink at their bar on our last evening and it took over 20 minutes to get 4 drinks, even though the bar did not appear to be very busy.

I loved the location next to the Louvre Museum and all of the nearby shopping; however, the staff was not always friendly. The worst part is that you walk into the hotel and it's filled with perfume on every floor. I'd rather a clean smelling hotel with zero scents that a perfumed hotel. I gagged every time I walked in. It was just too much for me and my husband.

The hotel is in a great location, steps from the Louvre and Palais Royal. The rooms are good, and the staff and very friendly. I have only a few suggestions for improvement. The hotel air on the room floors is very fragrant. I suggest reducing the fragrance. Also, I ordered room service from the Cafe 52 in the hotel using the app, but it never arrived. I suggest checking the app for functionality. I wasn't charged, but a good hotel would have offered some form of compensation after informing them at check-out, not just the chocolate bar they gave me. Also, the cleaning staff left a vacuum outside my door on the third floor and a laundry cart around the corner. A minor detail, but these items should be tucked away. The VIP benefits are minimal - the only \"real\" benefit is a complimentary drink at the bar. Despite these hiccups, I would stay here again.

I can't say enough about the wonderful experience I had at Grand Hotel Du Palais-Royal
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every moment of my stay was enjoyable.

The room was immaculate and beautifully designed, with all the amenities one could ask for, including a plush, comfortable bed, a spotless bathroom, I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room's decor - truly top-notch.
Dining at Cafe 52 was a delightful experience too.

The location is perfect for exploring the city and the Louvre and the concierge team provided excellent recommendations. This is also the location of Galerie Patrick Fourtin ( IYKYK) .

Overall, this was a five-star experience, and I am already looking forward to my next stay in December I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable hotel experience.

Close to great restaurants and right next to the Lourve- you can walk everywhere but enjoy a quiet place when you get back to the hotel.

This hotel was simply amazing. The location is perfect – near the Louvre, but around the corner so it’s quiet. Fine dining. Boutique hotel. The concierge service was simply amazing – the best I’ve ever experienced in my 50 years of life.

Needless to say, don’t take taxis in Paris. Only use Uber. We had a horrible experience with an unethical cab ride that ruined my wife’s birthday plans. Concierge had already gone above and beyond to help me make arrangements for our trip, and they stepped in and salvaged the night to make a truly memorable experience. I cannot give a higher recommendation. We will be back
