Like most European hotels the smell of cigarette smoke in lobby that finds its way to your room, other than that it was a very nice hotel, convenient to shopping, metro, Louvre, and Notre Dame. The metro station is just around the corner that takes you everywhere else, get the breakfast, not just a continental.

Although the hotel is definitely on the smaller side, it was spotless and the rooms were very updated and extremely comfortable! The beds were cozy, excellent water pressure in the showers, and lots of amenities. The street is a nice quaint street with much to see and do! It’s a 3 minute walk from the Lovre and also close to the metro. Staff was proficient.

It was a very convenient location. Wish there had been window screens, as it was too warm in the room for our liking and we kept the windows open at night Also, the Nespresso machine was a piece of junk. Much better to have just had a hot water kettle. I had to go to Darty to buy one. A friend came to pick us up and wait in the lobby, and the front receptionist was very rude to her, and wouldn't let her in until I called. All in all, ok, but would choose elsewhere when we come next year.

Perfect for what we needed; an overnight stay for a family of 3 after a busy day in Paris.
Reception lady was excellent and even took our bags in off us before check in so we did not have to carry around city or go back and forth to /from hotel midway through the day.

Room was perfect for our needs (a shower and a sleep!) but we didn't use any other facilities, so cannot comment there.

Would use again :)

Room was okay…nothing terrible, yet not overly nice..very standard accommodations. This hotel has possibly the world’s smallest elevator…if that is of interest. The place is very cramped…near the louvre, but more importantly great shopping, cafes and restaurants. You can wander through these streets for days…the area is amazing. The hotel is just cramped, older, yet clean…and the staff is very nice.

When we first checked in the room unfortunately had a strong unpleasant odor. I reported it right away and the staff promptly removed us to another room. They were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, within walking distance to many attractions.

Location: Perfect spot! Just a short walk to the Louvre and plenty of other must-see sights. If it’s your first time in Paris, you really can’t go wrong staying here.

Room Quality: Loved it—quiet, spotless, modern, and super cozy. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all.

Safety: I felt completely safe both during the day and at night. It was comforting to always see a friendly staff member at the front desk when I came back late in the evening.

Overall: I’d happily stay here again. The location, comfort, and overall vibe made it well worth the price.

Don’t let Hotels.com trick you into thinking hotel

Disappointing. Not on a great street, did not feel comfortable walking at night, restaurants were ok not very good and no food or drinks or lobby at hotel. You walked in and had to go to room. Status very windy and narrow. Reminded me of the Holiday Inns. Would not stay there or recommend to anyone. Cabs had no idea where it was.

As I entered, I was greeted by a really friendly staff, she helped me store my luggage until the check-in time as I arrived earlier.

I was surprised by the compactness of the hotel, the elevator able to carry 1 person with 2 big luggage bags.

When I got to the room, I found out the AC doesn't work, the reception staff told us they haven't turned on the cooling on the AC for some reason, it was weird for me, as the AC should always be on, and in the customer's control to use for both cooling and heating purpose.

The night before checking out, the staff told us, they can book a cab for us to the airport for 60 Euros, as the drivers they know, have a 'Special permit' for less crowded roads after the Olympics games, we agreed, which we shouldn't have. The cab picked us up and then charged us 74 Euros, total ripoff. And the cab took the road which Google maps suggested us, so, no special route.

The AC cooling not working, and the overly expensive cab ride, were the complaints we had. To new customers booking this hotel, please call ahead and confirm the AC issue before booking.

I stayed two nights recently. Location is pretty good, very close to the Louvre. They gave me a great room with the window facing the street. Decent size. Very restful. Some nice shops in the area, close enough to convenience stores. Staff was very pleasant. Would recommend for solo travelers like myself.

Nice boutique hotel. Great location near the Louvre museum and many restaurants and metro. Also, there is a gym nearby with day passes. Room was very nice with huge bathroom and lots of outlets. I get it. Picking a hotel is Paris is challenging. The Hotel Louvre Saint Honore deserves your consideration. My partner and I spent a week in Paris and faced some serious analysis paralysis. We settled on HLSH and were very happy with the choice. Every interaction with the staff was warm and enthusiastic. The location puts you close to a lot of major tourist attractions. You are steps from the metro line that runs along the right side of the Seine. Which you can use to jump to other lines. It is ten minutes from the light rail line to runs to the airport at Les Halles Chatelet station. There are a lot of things right out the front door. The toiletries in the room were very good. Worth considering for your trip.

I give this property 2 stars for its location and friendly staff. However, this in no way is a 4 star hotel. Upon arrival, we were met with a broken air conditioning system and had to sleep with a fan and the windows open. Although we stayed in mid-May and the nighttime temperatures were mild, that was not the case during the day. Plus, the sunlight and noise from the street did not make for a restful night sleep after a long international flight. The next day we were moved to another room. The rooms size, although large, had dirty rugs. The bathrooms shower and sink did not drain properly causing water to pool while showering. Light in bathroom broken on one side. Also, on the last two days, the elevator was broken requiring one to use the stairs. I would not recommend this hotel! There are many more hotels in the area worth the 4 star rating and the high price, and this isn’t one of them.

Our flight was cancelled, and we had no way of getting to Paris to make our reservation. We contacted the property, hoping for some understanding and flexibility, as this was a situation completely out of our control. Unfortunately, they stopped responding to our messages. When my husband called, they said they would speak to management and get back to us shortly—but we never heard from them again. Three days later, they charged us in full without providing a receipt or any prior warning.

While I understand that policies are in place, we were hoping for a bit more empathy and perhaps an exception in the form of a credit or refund. Just a word of caution: if your flight is cancelled or you experience any disruptions to your trip, don’t count on flexibility from this property.

The hotel was located very close to the Louvre and several metro stations, making it extremely easy to get everywhere.

Cons: There was no ac in the room. I wish I would've known this before booking. When you look at Expedia it says that it does. The room was not comfortable to sleep in. The elevator was extremely slow and took so long.

I was definitely disappointed that this is considered a four star hotel. There is not much of a lobby nor of any common area. The room is spacious, but the rugs are filthy. I even had to take a picture of them cause I could not believe how dirty they were the front desk. I can only say the women at the front desk. We’re not friendly or helpful almost as we were bothering them as we walked in or out or asked a question. This is a best a three star hotel, and that’s pushing it. Definitely not worth $300 a night. The maids also did not pay attention to detail didn’t refill the coffee didn’t refill the milk didn’t refill the shampoo

But the location was perfect walkable to almost anywhere shopping was terrific and food around the area was wonderful. With some very small modifications this could be a very charming hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a 4-star experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. The lobby was surprisingly small and cramped, giving off more of a budget-hotel vibe.
The carpets throughout the room were dirty and in dire need of cleaning or replacement, which made the place feel less welcoming.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep, and the pillows were small and flat. There was no iron provided in the room. The location though was great.

Location is excellent but otherwise it has a narrow elevator that barely fits 2 people, pillows and mattress were very uncomfortable to the point that we had to use towels to avoid the morning neck pain. they don't have housing staff overnight so any request for blanket, pillows, towels, etc need to wait until the next morning. the sink in the bathroom had draining issues. I am really surprised that this has a 4 star rating. Will definitely not stay in this hotel again.

Last minute booking but was glad to find this place. It was located near the metro station which was very convenient. We wanted to stay near the Louvre museum and the high end shopping area so this was perfect. The hotel was nice and modern. The room including the bathroom was spacious which is hard to find in Paris. There is only one small elevator but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed our stay here and would again.

The property was advertised as 5 star, however this was most definitely not that. A very small basic breakfast buffet which cost €22, no selection whatsoever. Bo dining facilities. Only 2 people could get into the lift at any given time. Finally the bathroom was poor quality.

The hotel's location is incredible, on a gorgeous safe street packed with cafes, with easy access to public transportation and across the street from the Louvre. It's also easily walkable to Notre Dame, the Tullieries, and much more.

The hotel was clean, but it wasn't for us. We had the smallest room we've ever stayed in while in Paris. I recommend choosing elsewhere. We had booked one room via Expedia and called from the US to book a second room directly with the hotel since Expedia didn’t allow booking both simultaneously. Despite having a confirmation number, we arrived to find only one room available and had to scramble to find another hotel for the other three members of our family.
The front desk called and provided prices for three nearby hotels for our two-night stay. We went to Hotel du Louvre, only to be told the quoted price was for one night, not two ($1400). This added more stress than checking in and finding out we still only had one room booked. We then walked to the Normandy Hotel and rented their spacious family room. For a family of six, I would recommend getting two rooms at the Normandy Hotel; their suite comfortably accommodates three people per room.

Nice hotel. Comfortable rooms. Carpeting in rooms very warn or dirty couldn’t tell. Overall staff was friendly. Misled by concierge who made a”taxi”reservation to CDG. Not sure if it was a personal friend or not. But I was quoted 65€. Driver demanded 75€. Gave the driver 100€. Said he didn’t have exact change and only had a 20€. This was a rip off but didn’t have time to argue. Felt as if I made have been scammed in my opinion.

Narrow street near corner of busy intersection was always congested, even at 11 pm, making taxi pickup and dropoff difficult. Property was very nice, but we were in a noisy first floor room (002) where we heard every flush in the building and felt every train go by underground. Our companions in upstairs rooms made no similar complaints. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. Location is very easy walk to Louvre and various metro stations.

Despite only being there for two nights, I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Louvre Saint Honoré.

The room was cozy yet comfortable, the bathrooms were in good shape, and the lobby was unassuming but well-maintained.

Incredible area. Well positioned near the Seine, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and many other iconic Parisian sights.

I'd definitely stay here again!

It was OK and at least very clean.

The website was offering a bar for cocktails, but there was none. They could have had things like each cloths in the bathroom. There was no concierge and the front desk staff could not offer much as far as local restaurants so you were left with trying to figure out what's good or not. The room rate was very high and I expected more for my money.
