Absolutely the perfect spot to stay for first time travellers to Paris! The staff are all so willing to assist in anything you might need. Check in was easy, we even got an upgrade as this was an anniversary trip. The room and beds were so comfortable, housekeeping was perfect. We signed up for the breakfast each day and loved it. One day we had to leave before breakfast was served, and they packed us a little box with pastries and fruit and yogurt to take away with us, just a nice extra little touch. One morning we had difficulty understanding a French speaking Uber driver and the front desk person kindly stepped in to assist. Umbrellas were handy at the front door for us to use on a drizzly morning. Every single staff person we encountered was beyond helpful and kind, we can’t wait to stay here again.

Very happy with our stay 4 night stay at this quint boutique hotel. From check in to check out we had a wonderful stay. Sonya at reception is the most welcoming and helpful receptionist I have ever meet. She toured our room, showed us where everything was and was there to assist in anyway reasonablely possible and made some excellent local restaurant recommendations.
We had room 613, below street level, view of a small garden court. At first I was put off but soon realized the silence was worth the street view. The bed was very comfortable and room was spacious and well appointed.
A little heads up, filtered water is complementary but you will want to refill your water yourself at the bar. Nico there, was alwas happy to serve, providing fresh filtered water and extra coffee for our room.
The location of this hotel for tourist is fantastic. A short walk to the Louvre and Notra Dame and bus and subway stops are quick and short. We love the convenience of Paris public transportation system.
A great place to stay and we highly recommend it.

L'Empire is at an excellent location to walk to the Louvre and the Metro and other sites nearby. Taxi or rideshare can get to it just fine for those options as well.

The room we were in was large and comfortable, with a king bed and roll out bed for our teenager.

There was a tub shower and a regular shower and bathroom had plenty of space too.

Breakfast was included and had great food and good options.

Staff was amazing, spoke English well and were super helpful giving us some tips and organizing a taxi when our rideshare to the airport ditched us.

There are MANY dining options within very short walking distance and the \"mall\" with less expensive stores is just down the street. We went to Maxi there to get an extra suitcase for the return trip home.

Overall A+ and would certainly book here again on a future trip.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is always the same. We stayed for 8 days, few changed. The worst is the heating system. Air condition doesn’t work well. There is an oil or water heating system in bathroom. It makes big bump every hour. I understand the property is old building at such a good location.

L'Empire is a wonderful property, from the rooms to the staff everything could not be any better. We booked the two connecting rooms on the 5th floor and the way they were laid out we basically had a nice little two-room apartment.

Location wise, it's a 2 minute walk to Pont Neuf, easy walk to the Louvre, and across the street from Samaritaine. Several metro lines are within spitting distance, connecting you to everything Paris has to offer.

The staff were wonderful, tolerating my horrible attempts at French and offering insightful advice to enjoying the city. It was a fantastic end to our Christmas Market adventures in Germany and France.

Can't wait to go back.

Sonia greeted us very enthusiastically which really help set the mood for the beginning of our Christmas holiday. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful and help make our stay very memorable.

The location was great. Within walking distance to lots of eateries, metro, shopping and attractions.

The staff are all lovely and concerned and wish for their guests to feel at home.
ACCOMMODATIONS
We were upgraded to an executive suite which was absolutely superb. The temperature in the hotel itself was perfect. The bed was a king and comfortable. If there was a smart TV it would be extra wonderful
BREAKFAST
The breakfast which we had included with our stay was delicious. Each day we had breakfast. and did not have another meal until dinner because breakfast was so delicious and perfect for a fully energized day.
LOCATION
Excellent. Very safe very convenient. One could not have a better place to stay.
Thank you to all of our friends at L’Empire Hotel for our wonderful sojourn in Paris. We hope to join you again and will recommend.

Awesome stay.
First of all, location is super convenient to a lot of places Paris has to offer within walking distance. We had a beautiful spacious room with all the modern amenities, comfortable bed, large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower, all the toiletries eco-friendly. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of dishes hot and cold, good coffees and teas, excellent pastries. There is a happy hour at the lounge every day. Excellent service, professional and friendly hospitality from everyone on premises including complimentary umbrellas by the front desk. If you are planning to visit Paris this is the place to stay for location, professionalism and friendliness, excellent quality if services offered including rooms and breakfast.

This was our 2nd stay. In 2015 we spent our honeymoon here. Loved the location, unique rooms and especially the staff. They remembered us! Upgrades us to the penthouse suite with a view of the Eiffel Tower and moved the couple we travelled with to the room next door. Breakfast was great, lobby area beautifully appponted. All guests treated so well. In the 1st arrondissement, close to great restaurants shopping and the seine. Cant wait to return!

On the upside, the staff was very nice and the location was good. We were hoping for the modern upscale vibe the website described when we booked this hotel. When we arrived, however, the lobby was exceptionallly small and dark and reeked of an off scented potpourri. The hallways were very narrow and completely dark until motion detector lights sensed our presence. Our room was also a disappointment. We paid for an upgraded room with a “city view” but what we were given was an attic room with slanted ceilings and 3 dirty skylights - there were no windows that we could see outside of. The “luxury” bathroom was crowded and also had the slanted ceilings and you needed to step up into the shower which had mold on the grout and was the size of a phone booth. Also, not worth selecting the option with breakfast included as there are much better options outside the door. Thankfully, the second leg of our trip included a beautiful hotel in London.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only piece that surprised us was our room, even thoigh mentioned in the ad, did not have a terrace which was disappointing. Also our room was in the basement. There was a window to a small atrium area, not accessible to anyone. The room had no natural light so very dark. It was also quite humid as the hottub is on that floor as well. Because it is a very old building, simply the age not the condition of the property, there is no individual temperature controls in the rooms. You can either choose to have the system in your room on or off. Initially it was very warm but having the window helped a lot. I would go back to this hotel but i would be sure to specify i do not want a basement room and i would want a terrace.

The reception at this hotel was first rate. The woman that welcomed my family made us all feel like we were VIP guests. My kids are still talking about how friendly and warm she was.

Our transfer to and from the airport was all handled stress free for us. The breakfast was exceptionally well done - from the wide variety to the high-end quality.

The room was amazing, clean, large, and comfortable. The location of this stay is within walking distance to many great restaurants, the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the metro line that runs straight to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eifel Tower. There are several small grocery markets within 2 minutes walk if anything is needed.

I'll stay here again next time for sure.

The location is the best selling point, close to the Louvre, shopping and cafes. The staff went above and beyond, let us check in early and even helped us hail a cab. We had the 1st floor room with the privatw terrace. The room was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcome from Sonia/Monika, room being inspected the toiletries were not working ! Very comfortable bed, great location for cafes, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was ok, space tight crammed in space by door when there was plenty spaces available. The breakfast staff could be more attentive. Jacuzzi great. Overall, I would definitely recommend. Parking and getting there with traffic is terrible, but since Socialists run the place this makes sense, breakfast is good, staff is eager and you are close to the Louvre. I am mostly a find the flaw kind of guy and the AC worked in peak Summer. So maybe increase your rating by +1 from mine especially if you do not go there in peak seasons. I’d go again.

We were put in a room on tge lower level near laundry. The hallway was dark until you stepped out into it. We were two ladies and felt unsafe. Also had two order a cab 2 days ahead. Luckily we had a uber app.room was clean and had a great breakfast buffet.

I think it entirely depends on the room you are assigned. Be aware that room 613 (pretty sure I got that right) is in the basement or \"courtyard\". Not too terrible but it is the only room on floor -1 and the lighting is not great and felt damp and clammy. The room was fine...very clean...just not ideal. The other room we had on the 4th floor was good. The key about this hotel is its location. So whatever so-so comments I make about this hotel, it is in a perfect location to see Paris. The breakfast was a tad pricy but it had about anything you'd want to start the day. And I would recommend taking advantage of it if you are an early riser as other places don't open until later in the morning. Staff members were exceedingly helpful and nice. They held our luggage when we arrived before check-in...mailed post cards for us....provided recommendations and directions. So yes I would recommend this hotel and I would book a room there on my next trip to Paris.

When I realized the shower was in a deep tub, which would not be safe for me, the manager found me a room with a walk-in shower. Even though the family had been resting in that room while we waited for our other rooms. Management was very understanding and nice about this.

This was our second time staying at L’Empire Paris because of it excellent location and friendly staff. Unfortunately we probably won’t come back. We were there for 3 nights and on the 2nd day the air conditioning stopped working in our room and with temperatures over 30C we had two sleepless nights. While the staff tried to help with a fan in the end we were disappointed that was the best they could do. A free night or a free future stay or getting us relocated to another hotel would have been proper compensation under the circumstances none of which were offered.
