Great location, easy to stroll around walking and go to many sightseeing around Paris, the room is super small and can be a little claustrophobic, specially if you have luggage and shopping bags, the room is clean and have daily room service.

The photos look way better than the reality. The hotel lobby was very stinky throughout the two days we were there. The elevator can only fit two slim women or one large man in. The hallways are narrow and the rooms are also very small, which, by Paris standard maybe is normal but I am a fairly small-built woman so I imagine it wouldn't be too pleasant for most people that are larger than me.
The design of the rooms are beautiful, which are about the best perks that was offered with such a price.
The shower head was positioned horribly, not adjustable and only works if a person is at least 180cm tall, for people shorter, you have to handheld the head or it will just spray above your head. The water pressure isn't so great either but this is a common issue with most old Parisian plumbing.

We (family of 4, two preteen kids), stayed in a family room. The hotel is in a brilliant location, easily accessible by public transport and within walking distance to all manner of shops and attractions. The hotel itself is stylish and full of character. Yes the lift is tiny, but our kids loved it and treated it and the spiral staircase as an adventure. The room was lovely and surprisingly spacious. We enjoyed a breakfast one morning with open windows to the Parisian Street below. Staff were professional and helpful; would recommend a stay here.

Our family loved the Handsome Hotel! Staff was amazing and even offered us free breakfast one morning because we weren’t able to check in early the day of arrival. The family suite was so spacious for the 4 of us. Location was great and close to public transportation. Wonderful trip to Paris!

Definitely a great experience. Though the facility is small, everything is functional. The front desk staff are all good and helpful. The room is clean, it's close to everything including the metro, shopping, restaurants, and even popular attractions. Wasn't able to try their breakfast since I was always out early. I Highly recommend the place. The only downside was even though i was in the 5th floor, i can still hear people talking, laughing, or yelling on the streets.

Do not be deceived by the photos on the website!! They are staged and made to look like something they are not. You and your 1 suitcase can take a trip up the very slow elevator (it will not fit more than that) or you can risk a fall in the dimly lit spiral staircase with dark carpet, and dark walls that only allow for 1 person at a time. The area is VERY loud with many cafes and/or seedy establishments right outside the hotel entrance that will definitely interfere with your sleep! Lastly; there is no safe in the room, and no ice available.

I’ll start with the most important heads-up: the rooms are very small. We had a big travel bag so we had to open it on the bed. That said, it was something we were already expecting (it was quite impossible to find anything big and affordable in such a good location). So we made the most out of the room. The rain shower was a nice touch, and we didn’t see any leaks. The bed was comfortable and the decor was chic. The highlight is for sure the location, in an area filled with very good restaurants and bars, as well as the Metro. We were able to navigate in Paris very easily because of that. I also have to mention the very helpful employee at the front desk, Theo. He was super friendly and knew exactly what to recommend, such as touristic spots, delicious bakeries and even very specific suggestions - for example, we were looking for bars and he pointed out some that we really liked, including a drink in one of them that was excellent. I would stay here again.

At check out, front desk asked for us to pay the room tax again but my husband knew we had already paid it when we checked in. Wondering why they didn’t see it on the reservation when checking out? Really great boutique hotel in the third district of Paris. Very close walk to the Notre Dame. Subway is just down the street making it really convenient. Lots of really good restaurants in the neighbourhood and shopping. Drove itself super cute with a queen bed but very clean with a modern design. I would definitely come back again. Also, the staff really helpful. They lent me a charger for my phone and we’re just helpful with advice about the neighborhood.

Really cool little property in the middle of everything. Rooms are incredible small with little to no storage. Kind of a pain but we managed. I’ve never seen a smaller elevator in my life. Roughly 1/2 meter x 1 meter. Two people or one person and one piece of luggage. lol. Breakfast was really good. Staff exceptional. A little loud at times but tolerable. See attached video of elevator. I couldn’t stand back far enough to get a full pic.

This small hotel is located in an ideal location to enjoy Paris, one block from Les Halles train/metro station. The lobby, rooms, and elevator are tiny, but the staff are wonderfully helpful, the decor is tasteful, and the bed was comfortable. The extra cost breakfast was tasty and well provisioned. The street noise is less because it's a walking area. There were some items in the room that weren't working and needed repair, and we reported these to the desk when we left.

The location was very busy which is understandable when you stay in the middle of the town. The breakfast was good. The only constructive criticism that we have is that there was very limited closet space for our clothes, and that the elevator was ridiculously small. The carpeting also needs to be updated especially the one in the elevator.

Handsome Hotel has friendly staff 24/7, is centrally located within easy walking distance of the Pompidou, the Louvre and several metro stations. The aircon was an absolute blessing during the heat (and much more effective than the aircon in a friend's hotel!), and the shower was fantastic too. The lift is a little... eccentric, but otherwise a really excellent little hotel that I'll be sure to use the next time I'm in Paris.

Fantastic hotel! We stayed for a couple of nights in June and had a great time. The location was perfect for us, the local area was bustling with shops and cafes, near the metro stations which made getting around very easy although we walked a lot as the area was just so beautiful. The room itself was small as we chose the most simple of rooms knowing we wouldn’t be spending much time there but it was very comfortable, nice and quiet, and had everything we needed for our short stay. The front of house staff were very helpful and provided us with everything we asked. We didn’t try the hotel breakfast but there was breakfast available if required and we were able to store our luggage before check in and after check out which was useful due to our flight times.
Overall we highly recommend the Handsome Hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Le Marais. We hope the visit again someday.

Friendly staff, clean room. Easy access to transportation, food and tourist areas. In an area with local activities if you want a more authentic experience and not one designed for tourist. Louvre is an easy walk about 15 minutes thru park. You can take the RER-B from CDG airport to hotel about a 2 minute walk after you get out of station

We loved staying here. It is in a prime location right next to the train station and lots of food and shopping in the area all within walking distance. We felt safe and loved staying so close to everything. The hotel itself was nice too. It’s small so the elevator and hallways are extremely narrow and by that I mean only two people in the elevator at once literally hugging eachother because it’s so small and the hallways well one person at a time. The entrance to the hotel is cute but while we stayed there, we encountered a bit of an odor issue but otherwise very clean and elegant. The room itself was small but very nice. Looks like it was recently renovated and had a nice modern look to it. Everything was comfortable and we definitely enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.
