This hotel was in a great location. The room was large by Europe standards. The pull out bed was not very comfortable but for a short stay it worked. Staff was wonderful and extremely nice. Would stay again

This was our second stay at Citadines. The location is very close to many sites of interest including Notre Dame of course. The Latin Quarter is only a few minutes walk. Our room was very comfortable and had a good amount of space for us to live during our nine day stay. The kitchenette is handy and we had plenty of closet space and a nice desk as well. My wife loved the cappuccino machine. The front desk staff were very helpful, We were able to store luggage before our room was ready.

4 night stay at your hotel. The front desk staff were extremely accommodating. The room was nice and we had more room than we expected. We enjoyed having the kitchen for heating up our leftovers and making hot beverages. Main complaints - the shower area had mold and the hair dryer did not work very well. During our 4 night stay, waste baskets were never emptied and dirty towels were never taken. The hallway leading to our room looked awful, walls looked dirty, wall paper peeling and base trim was full of dents.

Une très belle expérience! The location could not be better, the rooms are very clean and well equipped with everything you need, the coffee is excellent, the sparkling water machine was another plus, the staff is very helpful. Even though it is located in the center of Paris, the room was very quiet. I highly recommend Citadines! Merci à toute l'équipe!

It would have been nice if reception mentioned benefits of free membership through ASR since most of our bookings for our France vacation is from Citadines. Citadines Kleber in Strasbourg took their time to explain ASR membership and helped us with registration. Unfortunately, our stay in Paris which was longer could not be applied since it was a past booking prior to new registration.

Room was very clean; staff was for the most part very courteous and helpful.
Wonderfully welcoming lobby. The lemon water as you walk in was so refreshing. You could make a free café au lait or whatever, each day.
Perfect location.
Some rooms needed a little TLC (shower, tile in kitchen area). The kitchenette had the cutest little dishwasher I've ever seen.
My studio with a queen bed on the 7th floor was great.
Ask for a room on the 6th or 7th floor for best satisfaction.

The room itself is clean, bedding, bathroom etc. the rugs are filthy, old and very stained. But the location and employees made our stay nice. Be aware that some rooms face the back service area, and the lights and noise are constant as they go about their business at all times of day and night. If you’re accustomed to city noise you’ll not notice!

Location is excellent. Staff excellent. All was really good except the room needed repairs. The fridge door does not close properly so is always running and interior light is on. Dishwasher is not installed correctly so the water continuously stops running during cycle. Safe didn’t seem to work, but that could have been me. Also bathroom sink didn’t drain very well. I called about the dishwasher and had the maintenance look at the fridge, but it didn’t help.

The location of this property is unbeatable—within walking distance of Notre Dame, several landmarks, countless restaurants, boulangeries, and shops. The hotel itself is pleasant, though the rooms are in need of updates. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the self-service laundry facility was a convenient bonus.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

I cannot stress enough to not stay at this worn down, rude staffed shambles of a hotel.

It is very tired and worn down and after doing some research this states back to 2015 in the reviews with the same comments about the state of the place. The staff are extremely rude upon check in and act like you are the scum of the earth, tutting at you and huffing and puffing at you.

This is not worth the alot a night I paid, I'm absolutely disgusted.

I am a seasoned traveller and regularly give honest reviews.

The carpets are worn, tired, marked, stained and sun scorched - and example of them not being reached for years. The rooms are noisy as it's next to a very busy road. The walls are marked, dented and paint falling away. As well as skirting boards. As well as the shower being as powerful as a watering can that leaks out the sides of the head.

The cleaners are not doing a good job as there was dust on desks and towel rails.

The staff clearly do not check the rooms over and haven't repaired any snagging lists (that I would be surprised if they even do these)

Look at previous reviews before you just take my word from it 10 years of people mentioning the run down rooms.

Again this is not worth the money and do yourself a favour and book else where that is more premium for the price they charge!

Excellent location for sightseeing by foot. There are also many restaurants and shops within steps from the hotel. If you’d rather stay in for a meal, the kitchenette has dishes, pots/pans and utensils (no seasonings). There is also a fantastic coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in the lobby that we really enjoyed using. There is a luggage storage room if you arrive earlier than your check in time. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room could have used a deep cleaning and a fresh coat of paint though. All in all, we did enjoy our stay there.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment-hotel room. Everything was really nice and enjoyable. The only thing that was super noticeable was the hard bed. It was pretty hard to lay on, no give. We did sleep pretty well though. I would stay here again. Local to many tourist areas and metro.

We were happy with our stay at Citadines Paris, the room/studio was a good size and hanging space and bathroom very good. Kitchen again ok, but did not really cook here, too many choices close by. The fellow that checked us in was grump and not helpful, but all the other staff were happy to assist with queries. The location is great walkable to the Louvre, St Michel / Latin Quartre and St Germaine du Pres (great restaurants here). We were at the back of the hotel and our window (which we were able to open) looked out over the district.

Hotel location was great which meant higher pricing. Initial check in was ok but it would have been useful to have a little more direction for parking. I understand the French mentality though so I can’t say it was unexpected. The hotel would benefit from upgrading to include USB plugins. It’s pretty commonplace now and although I did have an adaptor with me it’s just not as convenient. It was great to have a kitchen with a refrigerator. AC was decent but I’m glad it was cooler while we were there.

This place has really gone downhill from our last visit 12 years ago. The whole place is very outdated with old rugs and dingy hallways. Our room had a very old worn carpet and the tub siding in the bathroom was falling off. The curtains were off the rod over the windows and the handle to open the windows was chipped. When I booked this place many months ago, I asked for the same room we had for our 25th anniversary and they never replied. When I asked for it at checkin they said it was a different room rate which I understand but they could have at least replied to my email. When we asked how much a taxi would be to go to the big train station (Gare de Lyon) the staff had no idea and didn’t even attempt to look it up for us. Honestly the only good thing about this hotel now is the location.

What an excellent hotel! I was impressed by the size of the room and location. The hotel was next to the Seine River within walking distance to Notre Dame. Su ch a nice area. And we got a room for a family of 4 which was huge! It came with a separate room with a queen bed and a pull out couch with two individual twin beds that were very comfortable. Also included was a kitchen. Highly recommend!

Only improvement opportunities are dated carpets and room finishing.

What an amazing hotel in Paris. The location was unbelievable. You can get the RER train line B from CDG airport straight to Saint Michel Notre Dame stop which is about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The area around the hotel is filled with Parisian cafes and restaurants, truly French style. The welcome to the hotel was so friendly. The rooms were very spacious for being in Paris. We even had a kitchenette in our room. Very easy to get to all Paris landmarks as it is close to the metro and the Batobus on the river Seine. Walking distance to the Notre Dame.

The cost of staying at this hotel was clearly due to the location. The reception staff were friendly but the hotel itself was not great. There were renovations happening which were very noisy. Our room also looked out to the gym which had very loud noise as it was also used as a walk through. The lights continued to come on throughout the night due to a censor which lit up the bedroom every time. Location was great but wouldn’t stay here again.

Great location! Short walk to the Louvre and Notre-Dame. Hotel is very close many good restaurants, the Metro, a pharmacy and a small supermarket. Room was much larger than expected and offered a lovely view of the Seine River. The room and lobby were a bit tired but clean. Staff was wonderful. Very friendly and quite helpful. Loved the coffee maker in the lobby. I would stay there again. In high season you likely won't get early check-in so be prepared if your flight arrives in the morning. We got our room at about 3:20PM.

Ideal location in the centre of Paris within walking distanc3 of Notre Dame.
Large bedroom with working air conditioning and a separate kitchen with a dishwasher.
Shower over bath not ideal, slippery despite using the anti slip mat provided. Bathroom could do with some attention, in need of renewal.
Despite this it was a very pleasant stay and we will be returning in the future. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Good - even though I did not realized that they do not offer any hotel amenities. For a one week stay they offer 1 day of cleaning. I had a little issue checking in as my room was not available at 3:00 PM. Otherwise everything was fine.
