We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Crayon in Paris! The location was ideal—close to the main train station, within walking distance to the Louvre Museum, and surrounded by many great restaurants and cafés.

We stayed in two different rooms at the start and end of our trip and the real life experience of the rooms fell short of the amazing photos on here. Not included in photos - the hallways are super narrow with stained carpet. Stay here for convenience but lower your expectations for the room’s vibes.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Was able to check in early which was a big bonus. Room was on the 6th floor, however the tiny lift only went up to the 5th, then there was a narrow staircase. Not a problem and added to the charm of the building.

Had a quick 3 night stay here in Paris to celebrate a birthday. While a small hotel it had an elevator and was clean and comfortable. They had add-ons (champagne and macrons) which I took advantage of. We also added on breakfast which was delicious; then we could most start out for the day and not start by looking for food. Staff were friendly. They held our bags the last day so we could check out and still enjoy our last few hours in Paris.

Advertised laundry facilities and in room air conditioning control which were not available or functional. Room was adequate with an extremely tight bathroom. Shower was fine although very difficult to enter. Only elevator held two people with luggage or three people without baggage. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would not stay here again

The toughest part about this hotel is getting a parking spot to park your car. There are not a lot of options (at least free safe ones). The hotel is rather small, cramped in between other buildings. The elevator is about big enough for two people without luggage. The room was nice, decent-sized for a hotel in Paris. Best part was how close it was to the Louvre and the subway system.

A small little hotel right in the heart of paris This hotel is close to the louvre and right by a main trains system which made traveling so easy. The location was excellent . The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are small and we had the 6th floor so you have to carry your bags up the stairs because the elevator only goes up to the 5th but wasn't a big deal. The hotel rooms were quite small but immaculate in cleanliness and the service was outstanding. The staff at the desk welcomed us with warmth and helpfulness. The breakfast was wonderful and the ladies who served and helped were amazing. We would go again. Our hotel was just a few minutes walk to the Louvre, the Patisserie, and especially to Cafe Josephine (highly recommended!!). It was a perfect stay. (Do adjust the air if you need to, I did not until two nights had gone by, my error.) Great hotel and reasonably priced.

Wonderful stay the staff were fabulous. I highly recommend. close to the Louvre and palace. I was travelling with my mother and her cousin in 70s and 80s. One of the room allocated was on the 6th floor with only stairs to access. When I alerted them to mobility issue they tried so hard to reallocate a new room, which they were able to do the next day. Thank you.

This hotel was in a great location. The rooms were good in size and very clean. AC worked well. Hotel is a 10 min walk to the Louvre and Tullière gardens. Metro lines 5 min walk. Convenient \"boutique\" hotel (there are many in Paris!!). We stayed on 2 separate reservations here, and both rooms were satisfactory. A few things did not work (hair dryer/coffee maker/one electric outlet), and there was some mildew in the shower, but overall we had a good stay. The larger \"king bed\" room is more expensive, but was very, very large and much nicer than the other \"standard\" room. We were comfortable in both, however.

As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe staying at this hotel. In order to get into the hotel you need your key to open the main door into the hotel, meaning randoms cannot enter without one. The room was a good size and I had a great window looking out into the street. It was clean, smelled good and was walking distance to the Louvre and many other popular spots. Taking the subway was very easy and highly recommend for getting around Paris.

The vibes and location are excellent! They have the smallest elevator I’ve ever been in but the tub was great! There were definitely issues with the shower and tub leaking all over the bathroom floor and water under one of the floor tiles as a result. Bed was cozy and staff was kind.

The hotel was brilliant, very quirky. It was genuinely a 5-10 minute walk to the Louvre. Only downside was the noise…as it is quite an old hotel you could hear general noises from inside the rooms such as lifts etc. However, we were extremely impressed with the location and value for money.
