When I booked the room I booked King size bed suite. When we got there the room they had reserved was 2 queen size beds. When I asked they said they had been having trouble with booking through 3rd party sites like Expedia. They didn't have any other rooms available. When I spoke to the owner the next morning he also said it was the 3rd party sites that was the issue. I have not had any problems when booking through Expedia before so it seemed like they were placing blame instead of owning the mistake. Would not return.

Overall, the stay was fine. There were Cheez-It or goldfish crumbs on our beds when we arrived on top of the comforters. The outside property itself was not very well maintained, but I have seen worse. Hot water only lasted about 2 to 3 minutes with six people in a suite. Mildew/mold, stains in and around the shower area other than that it was amazing.

The room was very dusty. Found hair everywhere (in the bed, fridge, all over the bathroom) Would have asked for another room but didn’t want to risk it being worse. Also the mini fridge was way colder than it should have been and froze all my kids food.

The breakfast had a nice assortment of choices. Met the manager and she is such a wonderfull caring person.
Overall
The grounds and parking lot were very well taken care of.
Insise was very clean and very well situated for the comfort of guests.
The room ( Suite) was very clean, organized, and situated to orovide maximum comfort to its guests.

Overall, the stay was fine. Upon checking in we were provided a key to someone else's room. It took about 10 minutes to get assigned a new room. The next day my key deactivated and I went to the front desk to get it reactivated - it was reactivated without asking me for my ID. That is concerning as anyone could have asked for a key to our room.

Staff was pleasant, breakfast was ok, room was clean. There are a number of places to eat at in the area so that is a plus. The room rate was reasonable.

Honestly the room was nice but the arrangement of furniture made no sense. Tv not in front of couch. Couch needed upgraded. Our room was right next to the pool, which was very loud during pool hours, both morning and night. There was a cockroach running around on the bar counter and I trapped under a cup. There was a drain pipe right outside our window and drained towards the building, resulting in the sound of running water all night. There was an exploded frozen diet pepsi in the refrigerator. The guests in the room above us jumped and crashed onto their floor until midnight when we reported them to the front desk. There was also a $150 additional hold put on my card upon arrival for incidentals and were not warned about the hold ahead of time and had not been charged during our previous stay the week before.

Not great

Front desk associates were nice enough. The room could've been nice if they actually cleaned it. I noticed a funny smell immediately upon walking in. But it wasn't like mold or old furniture. It smelled like other people. I found hair that wasnt mine in the bed so they probably didn't even change sheets between stays. Everybody has their preference when it comes to beds. Imo these beds are way too hard. Really couldn't get decent sleep. I was here 2 nights and got no room service. Cleanliness could've made this a decent hotel.

Not Very Clean

After I checked into my room, I bought a pack of bacterial wipes down the street at walmart because there were a lot of high touch areas that weren’t clean. The flooring that you’re met with at the door had wet boot marks and streaks. The shower looked like it was used, while the shower curtain was clean and new, the shower walls still had water, dirt spots that I could clean off. The bathroom mirror had water spots and little cotton bits like someone had tried to use a paper towel but it fell apart. While wiping down light switches, door handles and remotes those were the most dirty. The room was not bad and my stay wasn’t ruined by this at all. I never brought anything up to the front desk about my room, because I didn’t want to cause problems. Rather it is safe to say I won’t stay here again in the future.

Pleasing facility with family friendly pool, laundry & breakfast room. No daily housekeeping service unless requested. Room had distinctive musty oder and was quite humid. Longer then usual family stay so had time to
