Donald
Worst stay ever ! Never again!
Lesa
When I booked the room I booked King size bed suite. When we got there the room they had reserved was 2 queen size beds. When I asked they said they had been having trouble with booking through 3rd party sites like Expedia. They didn't have any other rooms available. When I spoke to the owner the next morning he also said it was the 3rd party sites that was the issue. I have not had any problems when booking through Expedia before so it seemed like they were placing blame instead of owning the mistake. Would not return.
John
It was a good place for an overnight stop.
Jennifer
No frills, pretty basic.relatively clean. Asked for additional sheets, blanket and pillows but they would only give a couple sheets and one pillow to make up the pull out sofa bed.
John
Great place to stay with cheerful staff and fine facilities. My third time staying here.
Kevin
The rooms were clean and well equipped.
JILL
Close parking, quick check in and out. Staff friendly. King suite room very spacious and clean. Everything worked including the curtains. Nice for an overnight stay while traveling. Easy to find off the highway with plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby but not at all noisy
Andrew
Two EV chargers. They worked at 40 Amps. Why i chose this hotel.
Room is a bit dated, but large and comfortable.
Front desk was very helpful at check in.

Room felt clean - staff was helpful and breakfast was good!
Brian
There was no hot water when showering!
Craig
Overall, the stay was fine. There were Cheez-It or goldfish crumbs on our beds when we arrived on top of the comforters. The outside property itself was not very well maintained, but I have seen worse. Hot water only lasted about 2 to 3 minutes with six people in a suite. Mildew/mold, stains in and around the shower area other than that it was amazing.
Jason
The room was very dusty. Found hair everywhere (in the bed, fridge, all over the bathroom) Would have asked for another room but didn’t want to risk it being worse. Also the mini fridge was way colder than it should have been and froze all my kids food.

Everything was easy to access.
It was a great size room for our family and there was more than expected in our room (fridge/microwave/couch) which was great with kids!
Breakfast also had a ton of options.

The room appeared clean but everything seems a little older and run down.
Deborah
Left before breakfast was served, in fact several others did too, maybe start at 6 am, at least on a weekend
Jamie
Over all stay was very nice and would definitely recommend staying with Comfort Suites. The only real downfall is the $150 hold for damages. That price is way too high in our opinion but nice place friendly staff.
Robert
Traveling for businesses good accommodations and location

Strong mildew smell in room. Everything else was fine.
Karen
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, the employees were friendly. We spotted some classic cars in the parking lot, which was cool.
Heather
Comfortable
Nice comfortable room just needs to be updated and it smelled like smoke but doable. Also only had a cpl towels each used to having 4 towels. I will say i got a great price as well for last minute.
Steve
There are other options. Use them
It’s run some nice local people. But most of the help is kind of rude. The GM included. At one point I was questioned if I was a guest.
Whitney
Staff is very helpful and nice! Rooms are clean, beds are comfy

We came from central lower michigan and stayed the night. Uopn arrival i noticed how quiet it was there. Webt in and registered then to check the room. Suitws are definitely they way to go if you want to move around freely. The room was very clean and nicely situated. We did the usual inspection but found no traces of any type of bug.the beds were good but i didnt like the pillows my wife liked the bed and pillows however. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice assortment of choices. Met the manager and she is such a wonderfull caring person.

Would def recommend to others!
This place is def a place I’d recommend for others to stay. Front desk was very polite, the room was spacious and very clean, good breakfast to choose from, the hotel overall was clean and very affordable!

A happy stay in Auburn
We were very pleased with the assistance provided us at checking. Room was comfortable and very nice.
Sandy
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Overall, the stay was fine. Upon checking in we were provided a key to someone else's room. It took about 10 minutes to get assigned a new room. The next day my key deactivated and I went to the front desk to get it reactivated - it was reactivated without asking me for my ID. That is concerning as anyone could have asked for a key to our room.
Staff was pleasant, breakfast was ok, room was clean. There are a number of places to eat at in the area so that is a plus. The room rate was reasonable.

Decent stay.
Honestly the room was nice but the arrangement of furniture made no sense. Tv not in front of couch. Couch needed upgraded. Room temp was hot upon entering but that seems to be the norm at most places. Would have preferred a few better options for breakfast. Otherwise no real complaints. Good for the cost.
Nancy
The beds were very comfortable and the room was large! Breakfast was great, too.

Family getaway

Privacy violation
Front desk lady opened my door and enter my room at 7:20am without knocking or announcing herself.... Tried to make some reason to justify the behavior. Completely violated my privacy. Disappointment for sure.
Courtney
Hotel was nice but smells like a weed factory on our floor.
Srinivasulu
Clean , nice and friendly staff and nice breakfast
James
Awesome room very clean smelled very good when I walked in people were really nice and I really enjoyed my stay and nice thing the ice maker was always working
Daniel
Not worth the stay
Pull out couch had stained mattress. No sheets and no blankets. Had to go to desk to ask for items. Was told they had no extra blankets and given sheets. There was nothing they could do about the mattress.
Lacey
Our room was right next to the pool, which was very loud during pool hours, both morning and night. There was a cockroach running around on the bar counter and I trapped under a cup. There was a drain pipe right outside our window and drained towards the building, resulting in the sound of running water all night. There was an exploded frozen diet pepsi in the refrigerator. The guests in the room above us jumped and crashed onto their floor until midnight when we reported them to the front desk. There was also a $150 additional hold put on my card upon arrival for incidentals and were not warned about the hold ahead of time and had not been charged during our previous stay the week before.
Misty
We enjoyed our over night stay. Everything was great.

Not great
Front desk associates were nice enough. The room could've been nice if they actually cleaned it. I noticed a funny smell immediately upon walking in. But it wasn't like mold or old furniture. It smelled like other people. I found hair that wasnt mine in the bed so they probably didn't even change sheets between stays. Everybody has their preference when it comes to beds. Imo these beds are way too hard. Really couldn't get decent sleep. I was here 2 nights and got no room service. Cleanliness could've made this a decent hotel.
Jamie
Great night away!
Room was comfortable, and spacious. The pool was warm enough but lacked towels (we swam later in the evening though). The pool being open until midnight was a hit for the kids! We did not get to breakfast in time but had coffee in the lobby.

The hallways were a little dirty, and pool wasn't clear--all else was good. Seems to need updating.
Steve
Breakfast was pretty basic; could have used more choices.
George
We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Auburn, but this one is the nicest

What happened?
I stay here frequently. This was the first time that the room was not clean. The tub had soap scum. The sink had leftover toothpaste stains. I won’t talk about the toilet. Thankfully I always bring cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself.
GERALD
Had an old fashioned rubber bath mat that made the shower much safer than most hotels that just have a pebbly texture in the tub, loved that. You didn't have to use it. But ee sure did. Good breakfast, walk to Walmart in 4 minutes.

The trash was left in the room from the previous guest. Open and half empty bottle of shampoo in shower. Sheets were dirty. It just seemed like the housekeeper came in and made the bed with the old sheets. I was not impressed whatsoever, but the front desk staff was very polite.

There were 5 lightbulbs out in my room. The bathroom lights were designed for two lightbulbs in each fixture, but only one was in place. The reading light on one of the beds was out.
Karen
The room smelled like dog. I don’t appreciate that when coming to a hotel. If the hotel is going to let dogs come in, they should make sure the room is cleaned appropriately. I will not stay @ this hotel again.
John
I really liked being able to plug in my PHEV car during my stay
Linda

A pleasant stay
It was pleasant and we will return when we travel through in the future.

It was a nice hotel in a safe area. We got a king sized bed and the room was spacious. The only complaint is the pool didn’t open until 10am which was late for our plans. But otherwise great experience and had a decent breakfast.

I liked the Comfort Inn Suites just fine. But they did not have my reservation in their computers because Expedia dropped the ball!
The people there were very patient and persistent at getting to the root of the problem and correcting it. I was very happy with them. Expedia, not so much.

The accommodation was fine, but the window had been left open to air the room out, we think. It had an offensive smell.
Steven
Will stay here again.
Clean and friendly. Big rooms. Walking distance to food and shopping.
Cynthia
It was fine. A bit dated.
Connor
Safe and clean, strange pillows..
The place was fine, very safe and secure feeling, great well-lit parking. The tv had no service and pillows were strange square things that are too tall to be comfortable. Normal pillows please!

Not Very Clean
After I checked into my room, I bought a pack of bacterial wipes down the street at walmart because there were a lot of high touch areas that weren’t clean. The flooring that you’re met with at the door had wet boot marks and streaks. The shower looked like it was used, while the shower curtain was clean and new, the shower walls still had water, dirt spots that I could clean off. The bathroom mirror had water spots and little cotton bits like someone had tried to use a paper towel but it fell apart. While wiping down light switches, door handles and remotes those were the most dirty. The room was not bad and my stay wasn’t ruined by this at all. I never brought anything up to the front desk about my room, because I didn’t want to cause problems. Rather it is safe to say I won’t stay here again in the future.
Betty
Very comfortable and welcoming

Family stay
Pleasing facility with family friendly pool, laundry & breakfast room. No daily housekeeping service unless requested. Room had distinctive musty oder and was quite humid. Fresh towels and linens had a damp feel. No towel racks at all in bathroom. Minimal contact with employees but when needed responded quickly. Replaced broken hairdryer upon request.
Longer then usual family stay so had time to
