Fabulous stay at the Balcony, Tsilivi
We had a wonderful week at the Balcony hotel. The hotel is beautiful, our room was amazing (Panoramic suite - best sea view ever), the food excellent, but the clincher were the amazing staff, Adamantini, Anastasia, Eleni, and everyone else, who did everything possible and more to ensure we had a great stay. Would highly recommend. We’ll be back. Thank you all at the Balcony. Amazing!

It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The views were breathtaking, and the warm welcome from the staff made us feel instantly at home. Everyone was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was great, and dinner was truly outstanding—each dish thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, the gourmet menu alone is worth a visit. We enjoyed a perfect sunset, made even more memorable by the delicious food and expertly crafted drinks.

Lovely quiet property. Delicious breakfast buffet every morning was a perfect way to start the day. We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the view from our balcony. It is a little away from the hustle and bustle of Tsilivi and Planos but it had one of the few parking lots in the area which is why we picked it. We really enjoyed the city of Tsilivi. Great place to stay on the island. There were a couple things we didn’t particularly like, the toilets only allow flushing every 15 mins so you have to wait to flush sometimes. This may be because of the type of plumbing I’m not sure. The beds were beautiful but too stiff for my back. There are no usb ports for US visitors fyi. Overall very happy with our stay.

Our stay at The Balcony Hotel was amazing and everything we had hoped for. When we arrived we felt so welcome and throughout our stay the owners and staff ensured that we were happy and had everything we needed. Nothing was a problem to them and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room and view was beautiful, very clean with new towels and water every day. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. It was a quiet at night even next to the road, allowing us to get a great nights sleep and well deserved rest. We will definitely be returning in the future and we can’t wait. An amazing holiday in an amazing place, made better by this hotel.

We loved our two night stay at the Balcony Hotel. Everyone was very attentive and courteous. Room was immaculate. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Overall a wonderful stay with wonderful views. Great communication as well. Assisted in making tour arrangements and airport transfers. Definitely recommended!

What a view! Great breakfast buffet. Staff could not be more helpful, thank you all. Location was close enough to town and anything you want to do. (Hint - rent a car).
They placed us in a newly renovated room. It was beautiful. I just want to give some helpful tips on improving the room. There are NO towel racks, placing the clean towels on the bed is a nice touch, but very inconvenient. There was never a second roll of toilet paper in the room and no place to hang one. All rooms need that. Finally, we could use a box of facial tissues in the room as well.
If that is all I have to complain about, you know we had a great time.

Wonderful Stay!
Our stay at Balcony Hotel was wonderful. From the greeting we received, to personally showing us around the hotel and to our room, the staff was amazing. The room was spotless and the views were stunning. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Our dinner at the restaurant upon our arrival was fantastic. The beach and the town of Tsilivi are an easy walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Attentive service (with some fake smiles!!!) but the main problem is breakfast! Pastries, Eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms are not HOT!The service starts at 8am and even this time is almost cold. If you come at 9am IT IS COLD!We guests are NOT ALLOWED to sit on the terrace where is sunny in the morning...Plus they have Weddings almost everyday and lots of children...So its not adults only.

Amazing views away from the tourist crowds
We had the most gorgeous view from our seaview room - I would highly recommend paying the little extra for the view. We ended up spending so much time on the balcony, enjoying the view and the sunset. The hotel is about 20 minute walk from the town centre and 10 minutes from the beach, but we were so happy we stayed here as the town is pretty loud, tacky and touristic so it was nice to have this quieter, more elegant place.
Breakfast was great - relatively small option but all handmade, nice Greek dishes instead of big tasteless buffets as some other hotels have. So much taste and you eat in the garden with the gorgeous views.
Room itself was a bit basic and clinical but practical, modern and clean - and you spend time on the balcony anyway.
Service was amazing and the staff always were so helpful and cheerful.
If you go to Tsilivi and want quieter, more elegant holiday than the tacky town centre then definitely stay in this hotel - we really loved it.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It was only for a night but the room was really clean, updated and had a a beautiful view. I have to say, the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Definitely felt the Greek hospitality here. They even let me shower after checking out before I caught my flight which is an amazing convenience for visitors.

Beautiful hotel, staff could not do enough for you. Room was spotless and decor was very high class. Had sea view room, very spacious with beautiful bathroom and shower, ok sometimes shower was not the hottest probably just with everyone using at same time but still warm. Had 2 evening meals, 5* food and service and reasonably priced. Nice breakfast everything you need, well presented albeit could be set out with a bit more room to manoeuvre. 10 minute walk to beach, there are steps but not great as you had to wade thru water at the bottom, didn’t have issue with walking to and from beach, about 15 mins to main town. Very relaxing hotel with beautiful gardens and views. Would recommend to all.

I loved this hotel. The view was spectacular and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of a large buffet of very tasty food. I usually skip hotel breakfasts, but the buffet looked so appetizing, that I made sure that I was at breakfast every morning.
Also, the bathroom was full of organic toiletries--wonderful olive oil soaps, lotions, and shampoos.
Next, the restaurant food was affordable and good. I could not eat all of the food that was provided just for one dish.
Finally, the staff was lovely. I cannot send enough praises their way. They were very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. They did everything for you. In fact, one of the managers drove me to the post office so that I could mail postcards.
While many boutique hotels claim to treat the guest like family or like the guest is special, this one actually did.
You will not regret your stay here.

We got married here last year and returned for our 1st anniversary, we were not disappointed. Everything here is excellent from the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. We ate in the restaurant that evening where the food was beautiful. We will return.

Great little, family runned hotel with best views in Planos/Tsilvi. Very friendly and polite staff, nothing was too much trouble for them and being always delivered with smile. Room itself wasn't big, but it has quite spacy terrace with lovely view on sea and Tsilivi beach. Would strongly recommend to everyone who's planning to stay in that area. You won't find anything better and price including breakfast is absolutely bargain considering what you get in return. I personally think that it's much better than many huge hotels which lacking soul, personal touch and eye for details.

What a great hotel. The family that run it are great, very friendly, always willing to help. Rooms are much as you would expect around europe at this price. Basic, but clean. Their food is excellent. We only booked B&B but we found ourselves eating at the Hotel quite alot. The beach is 2 mins away down a fairly steep path, but it has steps, it's not hard or dangerous. Views everyday, sunsets everynight. Thanks to Eleni, Marianna, Yannis, George & the rest of the staff/family.

Watching the beautiful sunset over Tsvilli whilst relaxing with a drink at the balkony is just brilliant. View is by far the best in town and the perfect way to chill out after a day at the beach or getting ready for a night out.
Hotel is perched on top of a cliff so you have to be prepared for a little walk uphill when you go home though.
Rooms are basic but clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly giving a relaxed family atmosphere.
Taxi to the airport is 20 Euro.

Wir haben als Pärchen, das zweite Mal, nach dem Jahr 2023, 3 tolle Tage in dem Hotel Balcony verbracht. Das Personal war wie auch beim ersten Mal stets ultra freundlich und sehr motiviert und engagiert! Der Ausblick von dem Hotel ist, nach wie vor, atemberaubend... egal zu welcher Uhrzeit. Von der Frühstücksterrasse hat man jeden Morgen einen tollen Blick auf Tsilivi und den Strand. Das Frühstück ist wirklich hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet (Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank, jeden Tag eine kostenlose Wasserflasche, Kaffee und Tee, Badutensilien etc.), jedoch immer noch etwas wenig Stauraum und Ablagefächer im Badezimmer. Unser Fazit: wir haben uns auch beim zweiten Aufenthalt in dem Hotel wirklich wohl gefühlt und 3 tolle Tage mit einem herrlichen Ausblick verbracht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall, auch zum dritten Male, wiederkommen, sollten wir auf Zakynthos sein! Vielen Dank an das tolle Personal, angefangen von der Rezeption, Roomservice, Reinigungskräften bis hin zum Servicepersonal beim Frühstück. Sie alle machen einen tollen Job und sind jedes Mal aufs neue bemüht, Ihren Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bescheren...
