Stunning hotel with beautiful architecture and pool design. Olea is a great choice for couples looking to relax, with excellent on-site restaurants and a calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and clearly try hard, though at times the attentiveness wasn’t quite at the level you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall, a very good option for a relaxing stay in Zante.

The hotel itself is beautiful, set on a hillside with stunning views. The grounds are quite spread out, so be prepared for a bit of walking between areas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made our stay more enjoyable.

However, there were a few disappointments. The fan in our room didn’t work from day one, and despite reporting it, it was never fixed. The mini fridge stopped working after two days and was only repaired the day before we left. We also requested a corkscrew and were told they couldn’t find one — surprising, considering the hotel has at least three restaurants on site.

Overall, it’s a very nice hotel with a lot of charm, but based on our experience, it doesn’t quite meet the standard of a true 5-star property.

I loved the design of the hotel. The room was spacious, stylish and well-maintained, and the views were gorgeous. The staff are all really friendly and keen to make amends for issues but there are inconsistencies in the service and communication that don't match what would be expected from a 5 star experience. The food quality isn't consistent across the three main dinner locations and doesn't quite match the price point. The ambience of the hotel matched what I needed for my short stay - very quiet and peaceful and hardly any children - which allowed me to relax in a way I haven't been able to in a while.

Not really what I was expecting for a lot of money a night. All golf cart travel is super annoying. Spa massage was ok but facility was mediocre at best. Steam room didn’t work , special shower only had 2/3 functions working. My pool suite had ants in the bathroom and bed. Not a lot but still, 750/night. Lastly the staff is mad weird. Super monotone, they hover around you at every meal and ask a million questions and try to break everything down. All in all 3/5. My Airbnb at Sall Suite was way better , wish we extended there longer.

This was our second time at Olea. We never go back to a place twice usually but first time round it was so good we could not resist. This time round they have made a few changes, some good, some not so.
Plus points the Flo Bar / restaurant is now a la carte which is much nicer than the fine dining 7 course set menu. Down side the cocoon restaurant in the evening is now a set menu and the bar has totally lost its atmosphere. Last time we enjoyed a few lovely evenings on the cocktails at the bar, the vibe just isn't there any more.
Room - on arrival we had someone else's luggage in our room, this was quickly rectified. We then realised our toilet did not work, again rectified quite quickly. Housekeeping our amazing and visit with fresh towels and fully clean your room every day. Room service take quite while and we found the food served is below par of the restaurants and also does not always match the wording on the menu, it feels slightly rushed together. We love the architecture and 'cool vibe' this hotel offers, but if you look closely the build quality is actually really quite rough around the edges. Staff go above and beyond and are very attentive, sometimes lacking personality as they so overly polite. Fist time round we had a sea view room with private pool, the view was obscured by greenery. This time we ask for a mainland view (with private pool) and these rooms are higher up and benefit from the most amazing views (same view as the flow bar

This is a wonderful property located on the top of a hill in the midst of olive trees and ten minutes away from one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. The rooms are really spacious and meticulously clean. The staff is very skilled and friendly as well as very helpful. The services are wonderful from food and drinks to the spa. Overall this is a truly five star hotel in every respect.

The problem of the location is the transportation like taxi. There is supposed to be a free service for hotel customers. When you go to the center at least an hour. Return to the hotel and the others. The staff is excellent.

Lovely rooms but not sure it’s worth the money

We stayed in a swim up superior room which was great - very spacious and cool
Breakfast was fantastic as were the staff in the morning - brilliant selection to chose from and the cello was a lovely touch
Meditation on a Monday evening was amazing - fantastic setting and great teacher

Cons
Aside from breakfast the service was impersonal - all self service on app. When we asked for drinks or food at the bar service was really slow and we often had to go up and order even though seated in pool area.

Each day we had to call to ask for housekeeping as even though we left a sign out by 11am they hadn’t been.

The beach is not close to the hotel and the yoga classes are during the day rather than in the morning.

The beds outside our swim up room look good but particularly uncomfortable reading horizontally with no shade.

Not sure I would recommend for the price (c.£450 a night)

I had the most incredible stay at the Olea. Stunning hotel with exceptional service from the staff.

I was solo travelling, so I wanted somewhere to relax, restore and make sure I felt safe on my own. The Olea ticked all of these boxes. I was particularly impressed with the friendly, attentive staff members - It didn't go unnoticed that even name and coffee choice was remembered from day one. I also need to mention Vicky, who helped make my trip so memorable—stepping in to help me plan my day with excellent recommendations and for booking activities/trips/car on my behalf.

I have had the best solo travel experience and I am incredibly grateful. Thank you very much. X

Lovely hotel from a design perspective. It has a quiet and calm vibe, even if there are a lot of other people there. Lovely food and great cocktails.

Beautiful hotel and in a good location with nearby restaurants and bars. Only downfall is that we paid for half board but didnt realise until we got there that half board dinner was only available in one restaurant as a buffet style meal. The food options didnt change much at all day to day so we regretted spending so much money on half board when the food was just okay. Breakfast was amazing. The vibe in the hotel was great, very relaxing. I would recommend this hotel and stay again, opting just for breakfast and the hotel room and not half board.

Stunning and fabulous

We have been to many places, and to lot of luxury hotels in Greece and abroad, but the experience at Olea is different. The hotel is fabulous, whether you have a suite with a private pool or a simple one. I couldn’t find any negative comment, everything was so special and beautiful. On top of it, the staff is amazing and so professional. From Spyros the front manager, to Ioanna with her tips and lovely personality, to Vicky at the reception and Armantos at the breakfast buffet. The experience at Olea was simply perfect, I recommend highly this stunning place and can’t wait to come back to it next summer!

This is an oasis of a property. Total luxury and somwhere where frankly I would never leave to look at rest of island. We loved being surrounded all the time by water - something incredibly soothing. The architecture is stunning and even the planting everywhere is worth looking at. It's just a winnier all round.

Olea is heaven on earth. No detail is forgotten and every request is met with a smile and efficiency. Fiona, Bianca, Joanna and all the front desk staff are marvelous. Their helpful and thoughtful recommendations were perfect. The dining staff are amazing and the food, drinks and service are world class. Magical place!!!!

A truly 5 star hotel with amazing premises and unique service that earns your admiration from the moment you step in.Excellent swim up rooms, very nice breakfast where you can find everything and Cosy places for relaxation including the spa.Staff is truly dedicated in order to make you feel unique and take care of everything.
Personally I believe that the highlight of the hotel is the high end restaurant “Flow Dine and Wine” where you can enjoy an amazing view and a menu prepared by one of the most talented chefs Adreas Ntougias.
