This was a step back in time. So fun staying in such a beautiful unique inn. The breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed chatting with the owners.

My wife and I just completed a two night stay at the Grand Victorian Inn. If we were so inclined, we could have spent the entire time looking at the furnishings, pictures, collectibles, etc.. It is lovely property and the warmth of its proprietors, Karin & Gary, make it quite homey. The breakfast is quite impressive and the pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs could not have been better. The property is only a short car ride from Mammoth Cave National Park, which was the principal reason we were in the area. Guests should understand that this is a historic property with incredible charm, but also comes with limitations. That being said we had a most enjoyable visit.

The breakfast menu varied each day with the main ingredient changing. Access to the National Park was easy and quick. Very friendly and helpful staff full of in knowledge and stories of the inn and the environs. Enjoyed just sitting and listening to regale us with stories of the area and the inn. Very comfortable bed made for sound sleeping.

Very relaxing sitting on porch and sipping our coffee in the am, before heading to the caves. It would be a great place for a bridal shower or other small event. Thanks for the memories.

This was like stepping back in time and a breath of fresh air. I frequently tour old victorian homes and museums so when the opportunity arose for us to stay in this Victorian Inn, I was all in! What a beautiful place. I know others find the train disruptive, but we loved it. Didnt hear it past 9pm and we stayed in Suite Joy up front. Need was great, room decorated well, and all around the house. Kitchen area was awesome too. The true highlight of our stay was the staff member who prepared our breakfast. One of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Beautiful inn appointed with loads of wonderful furnishings and decor. Our hosts were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Our room was lovely, clean, and quiet. We stayed two days and breakfast the first morning consisted of orange juice, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, or other drinks, bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes. The next morning, all of the above, but substituting Belgian waffles for pancakes. All delicious.

This is such a beautiful old building filled with some of the neatest americana I've ever seen. Our room had some minor issues, and when I reached out to the Diana, whose in charge of housekeeping, she immediately remedied the situation. The breakfast was very tasty and getting to talk to the owner was great. All in all it was a really nice stay at a beautiful place with great people working there. The southern hospitality was off the charts. I would highly recommend to any friends and family going to the Corvette Museum or Mammoth cave!

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The hotel is a living history museum of decades past. On arrival we were a little overwhelmed by the number antiques and nick-naks but quickly acclimated. The hotel and room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The nearby railroad crossing was noticeable but not too loud on the backside of the hotel. 1 or 2 trains each night. The staff and proprietors were very hospitable and helpful. Very convenient location to Mammoth Cave NP.

Gary and Karin were very welcoming. The room was clean, and the Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Overall, it was very peaceful and quiet! We got to relax in the little gazebo and watch the fireflies at sunset. The resident feline, which I only ever saw outside, was also very friendly.

This B&B is in a beautiful historic building that were restored by the owners, Karen and Gary. They are very friendly. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to visit the Mammoth Cave National Park. Although there are trains going by a few times at night,.. no horns after 9pm and before 6am, so i was not bothered by the nightly trains. I highly recommend this place.

Owners Karin & Gary were warm and friendly. Karin is a wealth of information about the history of the house and the area. The room was quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Others have complained about the train, but it passed only a couple of times during the day and not at all at night, and its passing was very quick. We found it part of the charm!

A unique experience living in an over one hundred year old hotel. The innkeeper, Diana was very nice and friendly. The history of the hotel was amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. The decor is all antiques and felt like an old time museum because it has so much to see. The hosts were kind and friendly and check in was very easy and hassle free. The room was very comfortable (actually like sleeping in my own bed) and the house was decorated nicely for Fall. We visited the Mammoth Cave State park and hiked and had a very nice dinner there as well.

A very quaint, historical property owned by gracious hosts Karen and Gary is a unique way to spend a day or two around Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. It's about a 10 minute car ride to the miles of trails at the Mammoth Cave National Park and a welcome change from the standard motel. The property is loaded with history, antiquities and collectibles and the hosts provide a lovely breakfast in their dining room.

Wonderful breakfast in a spacious dining hall. The building is a great example of Victorian architecture, and it is decorated with an abundance of antiques large and small. The hosts were very welcoming. The location is in the country, but very close to Bowling Green and Mammoth Caves. There is a trailhead for the rail trail to Mammoth next to the property. I'll stay here next time I pass this way.

This a beautiful property is located next to train tracks. Trains vary from a few to many a day. Did not detract for us, but be aware they come in the middle of the night. Gary and Karin were kind owners, nice breakfast and they allowed us to heat up leftovers in the kitchen micro. They had a common fridge to use. Due to large space and many items of decor, dust was apparent. It was NOT a dirty feel at all and the beds sheets were clean and room comfortable. Restaurants were a short drive and we spent our days at Mammoth Cave so conveniently located!! Would stay there again. Go pet the kangaroos at Kentucky Down Under Zoo!!

We love to stay at B&B’s. So with Mammoth Cave being a destination nearby we made this our overnight stay. It was a beautifully maintained and decorated place with every detail well thought out. Even to having a personal fan in the room, which we need to sleep! Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds has many antique delights among the landscape. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!

This B&B is beautiful and the hosts are even better. Karin and Gary were exceptionally kind. We even ended up at a local restaurant with them where they participated in the karaoke. They did a duet! Turned out my wife is a distant relative!

I got there early to check in as I had a cave tour at 3:45 and did not want to be rushed. The property sits in an industrial parkway behind an industrial facility. A freight train runs through the front yard. I was on the phone with the owner when a train came through blaring its horn and moving very fast. It scared the crap out of me. The phone conversation stopped due to the noise and the owner hung up. I did not stay there and went elsewhere. I did not realize it was a bed and breakfast. The name sounds like an old hotel. I had to eat the $155 for the night but I wanted to stay somewhere nice so I went to Hampton Inn in Cave City.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here! It is quiet and run by a lovely couple, Karin and Gary, who were very accommodating and warm. It is pretty close to Mammoth Cave and other features around the area. It is also decorated BEAUTIFULLY to the time period. The price was not outrageous either, would recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a more personal experience!
