Was dirty had massive ants switched rooms. Almost half of the room was flooded from the upstairs neighbor. Then the owner came to look and was very rude about the ants. Went to our 3rd room to where there was blood on the bedding so 3 rooms later we ended up leaving before our stay was over and didn’t get refunded for the remains part of our stay there. Will never go back there. Advertised an outdoor pool online but it’s seasonal and was closed for our stay. Only nice thing there was the open yard to play catch in with the kids.

The long wall mirror was hanging by one hook. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean. Breakfast was sad for options. Toast, plain bagels, yogurt, hostess donuts, 2 different cereals, coffee, milk, few apples, and the machine that dispensed orange juice and apple juice was broken. No other options for breakfast or drink.

The hotel was what you would expect in that price range for an older hotel. Rundown, dirty, grout, dumpy lobby actually rat traps outside the building, sticky floors. But the continental breakfast was good and the TV was also very good.

This is a very basic hotel room. Nothing fancy but a clean room to lay your head down. It was close to the Mammoth Caves which is why we stayed. Staff were friendly enough. The man at the front desk recommended a nice Mexican restaurant nearby.

I had booked and paid for my stay with Travelocity a week prior and upon arrival the front desk worker, Jay, said that my reservation was not paid for. Spent an hour there with Travelocity on the phone before finding a nearby accommodation. Would never recommend this Days Inn for its fraud and poor service.

The room was clean, however, the light over the sink flickered constantly, the water pressure was on and off and it sputtered so showers were a little difficult washing long hair. Other than that it was great. The hotel is sitting in pretty much a central area to everything from Mammoth Cave to Kentucky Downunder. Dinosaur World is just over the Hwy from the hotel.

I really appreciate the manager for making my check in experience very pleasant. When I mentioned a family friend will be checking in later, he arranged to have their room next to mine. The lobby and breakfast area are clean and tidy. The room can use updating, especially the carpet flooring, but everything was in good working order. There just was strong smell of garlic/chives in parking areas (right outside the room). The bath towels are surprisingly very plush and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The basic breakfast could have been better if the attendant in charge checked more often to make sure the items are restocked. The coffee really needs improvement as it barely tasted like coffee at all.

Good for the price. We chose a motel instead of camping at Mammoth Caves National Park because it's very cold this March. The room was comfortable and affordable and I'm a good location for us to visit Mammoth Caves and Diamond Caverns. A little more care with cleaning would make for a better rating. There were a few hairs in the bathtub and slight stains on some of the towels. However, we would stay here again despite that, as the price was better here than anywhere else and the location was perfect.

Breakfast includes Bagel, Bread, cerial, yogurt, mini donuts, danish, coffee, tea and juice. Nearby to several fast food restaurants like pizza hut, subway, tacobell, wendys and right off the I65 and like 20 min from Mammoth cave. The room that we were alloted first had bunch of dead bugs. We requested a change of room and it was reallocated right away and it was much better.

We felt check-in was hurried as if the staff had something better to do. The room was subpar: it was ice cold; the tile floor in front of the sink and in the bathroom was sticky; the tub had hair in it; there were no cups or items to make coffee; and the TV input had to be fixed (HDMI 2 switched to HDMI 1) for the TV to work.

I was in room 114 and the TV did not connect to anything. Called the desk and they advised how to check HDMI cable but that was already hooked up. Had to pull out the laptop to watch anything. Also an extra blanket would be nice. Second room on reservation was 112 and it was fine.

Front desk: The attendant was friendly at check in but we later realized we had no info about breakfast or the WiFi password. There was not an attendant at the desk when we left so we had to leave our key in a basket. I’m also not sure if there’s an elevator available.

The room: I can say that I didn’t see any evidence of bed bugs but there was a dead beetle on the floor indicating to me they likely didn’t vacuum. The floor had multiple spots that sort of looked like the carpet had been burned. The bed was firm and uncomfortable, one of the comforters had holes burned into it. The wall behind one bed had a gross looking stain. The bathroom looked like it had been re-tiled recently but the tub needed replaced. No complaints about the sink area. I was thrown off that the room had both a mini fridge and a full sized fridge but I can see the convenience of the full sized fridge for someone staying longer.

Pool: The pool was the reason we booked this hotel and I am grateful that this amenity was available. The pool area had seating and some shade provided. There were areas of the pool that obviously needed scrubbed (black grime) and there was someone there patching the pool while we swam.

Breakfast: No complaints. Simple, easy, well-stocked. Seating close by.

I didn’t have too high of expectations based on price but I really do think there were things that need improved, mostly in cleanliness. I likely wouldn’t stay here again but I didn’t feel like I couldn’t sleep there.

Good for a quick night or two, it’s one of the closest hotels to Mammoth NP and lots of other tourist attractions. They’ve been really improving over the past few years we’ve stayed, but again, it’s a good spot if you’re not planning on spending a lot of time there besides sleeping after spending all day exploring the area.

The door was very hard to open- the manager had to show us how to specifically pull them push the handle to get it to unlatch. Maybe fix it??? Laundry facilities for guests were out of service, but manager suggested we go to their sister hotel a couple blocks away and use theirs. Which we did.

Our home was 48 miles away. lol something about a city ordinance. I’m 45 my wife is 39. We just needed a place to stay we were in town for a family gathering. We checked in in the evening; the front desk attendant was helpful and the process efficient.

The outside of the property was tidy; and surrounding area while dark; it felt safe. There were plenty of options for food, and gas very near by.

The room itself was large& tidy; despite beinglittle hodge podge decor/furnishing wise but more that adequate. The beds and pillows were plenty, and comfy. However- It could definitely stand some deep cleaning- mainly the bathroom area. The grout and shower surround, as well as the toilet were little icky; and you could tell been awhile since it had been given a good scrub. The water pressure was great; but the temperature was not. Our shower head leaked, the sink was finicky to turn on/off and toilet plugged up almost immediately.

The breakfast, was mostly grab and go,, little donuts, honey buns, juice& cofee and bagels- which were all fresh! The kids loved the donuts.

All in all; I was content with our stay; especially for the price point. It left some things to be desired but nothing horrific, or too inconvenient.

Horrible experience and do not recommend staying there.Was put in wrong room on arrival and had to move the next morning when getting keys reprogrammed to a room with a broken bed ,mold on the ceiling,lamp shade broken and filthy .Manager even threatened to charge me more like i had done something wrong.They do not give you do not disturb signs for rooms and every time you leave they go in your room and look around.Have proof of this.They even took out boxes for items i had bought and planned on exchanging for something different.Everytime you walk out the keys quit working and get locked out .All the food in breakfast bar is out of date over a month .This was by far the worst hotel ive ever stayed in in my entire life

it was run down, TV only got like 5 channels...all sports and then couldn't get anything in the morning. Remote for TV was DISGUSTING, greasy and filthy. The carpet was so dirty I didn't take my socks off the whole time. The bed seemed like they changed the sheets and bathroom was clean-ish.

Terrible room. After check in our key cards did not work. Had to return to the front desk, clear around the parking lot, and get new keys. Finally getting into the room, the bathroom was disgusting. The tile floor was soggy and squishy. Ooze squeezed out with every step. Do not stay there.

The property was great for the price. We checked in late because we were having car problems. The next morning we asked if we could extend our stay for an hour to see if we’d be able to get our car fixed in time. If it wasn’t ready, we thought we’d stay there another night. But we were told we’d have to pay for another night if we wanted to stay any later… in the meantime we would have used the laundry facilities while waiting. But since they couldn’t accommodate us, we decided we’d stay at another hotel if needed. I’ve never had a hotel not let us stay an extra hour before… very disappointing. I know it’s their decision, but they lost another possible opportunity by not being accommodating. Otherwise our stay was fine.
