Très bon petit déjeuner avec renouvellement de nourriture toutes les 10 mn et elle remet en place et nettoies ce qu'il faut. On ressent qu'elle veut que ce soit parfait, et ça l'est.
Pour le reste l'expérience a été moins bonne (prélèvement d'une caution de 150€, accès au SPA facturé 20€/personne, serveur désagréable)
Chambre calme.
Hôtel loin de Colmar mais belle décoration.

Gut in Colmars Peripherie

Gutes Hotel mit schöner Außenanlage und Lobby, ca. 15 Minuten entfernt von Colmar. Kleines aber sauberes und modernes Zimmer mit WiFi. Frühstück kostet 15 Euro und war qualitativ ok, aber irgendwie dysfunktional. Das Personal war völlig überfordert, Besteck, Teller und Speisen (z.B. Rührei) wurden nicht nachgefüllt.

Clean and has air con. Not particularly friendly though young girl was. The bar man was curt and unhelpful. Whoa be tide you if you go to the pool with a hotel towel or after the swim you walk through the hotel with a drip!
Went out to dinner and returned by 2210 and barman refused drinks and said he was clearing up and closed.
I wouldn’t book again

Quick trip to Colmar

This was a great hotel! Room was large and airy.The bathroom looked new or at least well kept. They had free parking, many of the spots had charging stations, it was a bit tight for a larger car, but we managed to find a spot. The restaurant was lovely, offering a large selection of foods. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is about a 10 minute taxi ride to Colmar, which cost us 17 euros. Service was great during check in and the restaurant was also a good. Overall a well priced hotel for the area.

This was our second stay at this handy hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast is good, but dinner in hotel is overpriced for the the OK, but not exceptional, quality of the main courses. Deserts were excellent (if pricey).

Car park is too small for hotel, and on-road parking is limited, but there is overflow parking in the field opposite. We have not had any problems with security here.

Overall this hotel was fine. It has a lovely large yard that was great for my three year old to play in. She loved the trampoline. The only downside was that there is no elevator and we were on the third floor with lots of luggage.

There was plastic peeling off the walls inside the shower. The staff were not very friendly except for the maid/housekeeper. She was very nice. There were not electric water pot or any cups in the room.
On the other hand, the town of Riquewihr was lovely. We went to a wine tasting at a wine merchant store very near the hotel. The gentleman was friendly and had a sense of humor. We bought breakfast at the crêperie in the village. Very good.

We drove to this at night, seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Not so close to the freeway. However when we arrived, the outside of the hotel felt lively. The classy restaurant downstairs gave a warm welcome. The drive to the hotel during the day has views of the mountain.

The hotel is new with good conditions. The bed sheets are not so good (rough). The big problem is the box curtain ! It is too short and the bathroom was all flooded. This is not good when you go to the bathroom during the night. The garden is very pleasant as the the restaurant.

This was my second stay at this wonderful hotel. The rooms were very nice, big bathrooms, very clean. There is a nice landscaped outdoor area with tables and chairs. The hotel is outside of Colmar in a wonderful quiet setting. The food is outstanding. Breakfast has breads, yogurt, eggs, meats, cheeses and cereal, everything you could want. Dinner is excellent with an extensive menu including many local dishes. The owner is very nice and helpful, he runs a professional first class hotel. I hope to retun again.

Good but for a one night stay only ....

Good location for visiting Colmar, spotlessly clean with decent food - but parking is very limited and, unless you are used to sleeping on one very thin, flat pillow, take your own as there are no extra pillows provided (our request for an extra pillow was not fulfilled until the following day). Our main concern that we must report on is the lack of security - we were staying for three nights and were very perturbed to discover that, during the day, rooms had their doors propped wide open with pieces of wood in the fire door mechanisms - anyone walking down the corridor could have taken people's belongings as they were on full show. We found this rather upsetting and, disappointingly, the manager didn't share our concerns.

Enjoyed our two nights here. Very reasonable rates, friendly staff, and a nice restaurant. Be sure to try the local honey! Parking is in short supply and rooms are small and basic, but they had all we needed. I'd recommend this hotel even though it's about ten minutes from Colmar. I would have appreciated a couple of extra pillows, but the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant offers great food, good prices, and excellent service.

Superb food - disappointing coffee.

Stayed for just one night en route from the Italian lakes to Rotterdam.

Arrived just after 8:00pm. Car park was already full as was the on street parking in the immediate vicinity. Found a spot on a housing estate across the road though. Located in a lovely village easily accessible from the Autoroute. Location is ideal for visiting Colmar some 4 or 5 miles away, the Schlumpf Collection or for exploring the wine routes of Alsace.

Check in was quick and efficient with good English spoken. The food in the evening and at breakfast was superb. A very good wine list as expected. The only disappointment from our perspective was that the rather bland coffee served from an automatic machine.

Our room was comfortable but compact. Air conditioning would have been desirable if the weather had been any warmer.

Would definitely consider this hotel if we were in the area again.

Overall, this is a very nice hotel at a good price. It's conveniently located near Colmar, France and other attractions. However, it's in a very small town with no restaurants or other interesting things within walking distance. Also, parking at the hotel was very limited and hard to get in/out. Parking was available on the street, but it was also limited and at times was further away than we were comfortable with.

A lovely hotel

This was the second time we had stayed at this hotel on our way to Italy. The hotel is conveniently situated a short distance from Colmar. There was room to park the car on site but if arriving late it would be possible to park outside the hotel. The garden at the back was lovely to sit in with a drink after a long drive. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the evening meal which was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a good selection at the buffet breakfast which set us up for the day ahead. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

A stay in the country

We were very happy we stayed at this hotel, because it was in a small French town (Bischwir) about 10km from Colmar. It contained the only true restaurant in town, although you could walk to a Chinese restaurant and a Turkish Kabob place nearby. Owner was very personable an spoke excellent English. Small hotel. What we loved was walking around town and looking at all the French middle class homes and Barns! The barns especially had a lot of style and gave us ideas about how to remodel our house.

Quaint hotels near Colmar

Great little local owned hotel within reasonable driving distance to Colmar, but located in one of the small villages out of town. The owners were super nice and friendly! Hotel was clean, small rooms compared to US hotels, but clean! Breakfast was traditionally French and we just loved it!! We will certainly stay again next time we are in France!

Located about 8 min from Colmar in the direction of Freiburg. The restaurant was convenient and had a good Alsace menu. Both dinner and breakfast was good. The reception person was 1st class and speaks fluent English and German. There's a grocery store just 2 min away in Bischwihr. We had no issues there and would highly recommend.

Nice restaurant at Relais du Ried

We had dinner at the hotel. The service was great, as well as the food. Nice decor in the dinning room.

The reviews about the parking situation was right on. The parking stalls are angled with a one-way driveway, which does not lead to an exit. This makes it difficult to back out, especially when the parking lot is full. I was able to park on the street in front of the hotel.

There is a little bit of trafiic noise, but we were able to sleep through the noise, as the evening traffic was light.

The room has all the bacis necessities. Overall, very charming hotel and the price was right. Only 10 minutes from Colmar.

Pros:This hotel is clean,cute and is a good price. Cons:I would only recommend it for someone that is traveling between Colmar and Frieburg and wants to get an early start in the morning. To get there drive east from Colmar till you reach the middle of nowhere and then turn right. We went in August and it was very hot in the room as there was only one window and no cross ventilation( no A/C). It is also situated next to a chicken farm. Cute until sunrise and then roosters start crowing (on and on and on). Expect to get up early.

Remember it's 2-star and it's a winner

Good location for touring the Colmar region. We stayed 5-nights and enjoyed the convenience of access to the area without having to negotiate the streets of Colmar each evening. Beware car parking can be difficult in the hotel grounds but plenty of free parking on the street outside (may need to walk a 100m or so at weekends). Good restaurant. Our only 'complaint' - 37 tv channels and no English speaking, not even the ubiquitous CNN or BBC Worldwide! Ok, on holiday, who needs tv but after 10 hours touring it would have been nice to relax with news headlines.

Outside of Colmar city a SPA hotel with a small pool and garden Good to exploe the city of Colmar (but better to have a car since public transport is very limited) or the nature. das Hotel lockt mit einem guten Service, einem Spa, Schwimmbad und Saunabereich. Wir wollten 10 MIn. in die Sauna, vor dem Abendessen. Welches preislich viel zu hoch ist. Dafür sollten wir dann 2 x 20 eur zusätzlich zahlen, davon stand bei Hotel.com nichts. Man war sehr unflexible und unfreundlich

Hôtel agréable

La chambre était propre et très bien aménagée, bien insonorisée.
Nous y avons trouvé une bouilloire a disposition avec deux dosettes de thé et de café.
La salle d'eau est équipée de gel douche, savon et crème pour le corps.
L'accueil est sympathique, seul bémol une caution de 250 euros nous a été demandé dès notre arrivée ( ce n'est pas encaissé heureusement) mais je trouve dommage de ne pas faire plus confiance aux clients .....
Un spa est à votre disposition sur réservation moyennant 20 €/personne ainsi que piscine et soins .
Le petit déjeuné est copieux mais il coûte 15€/personne.
Globalement nous sommes satisfait de notre week end.

Hôtel très agréable avec du personnel très professionnel je recommande vivement, dommage que l'accès au Spa soit payant (20euros) sans aucune indication sur le site...

Super hôtel à proximité de Colmar.

Hôtel à recommander. Restaurant de qualité avec de copieuses portions. Buffet petit déjeuner très complet avec spécialités locales.
