Roll was nicely decorated, nice furniture and generally in good condition. However despite the hotel stating in a message to
Me the day before arrival that I was to be placed in a quiet room, I was actually placed in a room that was noisy, smelt of food cooking due to the kitchen extraction being right next to the room window. Due to the noise, smell and heat I did not sleep well.

A great location, great food and great staff. A really good find and having read reviews of self-checkin with no reception staff, I think it depends when you arrive and what’s on at the hotel. Check-in was easy and quick, room was comfortable and quite quiet (less those who have no consideration for other guests….which invariably you get in any hotel). Food was reasonably priced (they do discount for Blue Light Card holders) and very good quality (piping hot, which was nice) and staff were very friendly (and talked to you….unlike some places) tbh, would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed for 1 night at Stallingboro Grange Hotel, the hotel and our room were very clean, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and peaceful at night. The overnight EV charging was convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

Good place. Cant really grumble. Yes its easy to check in but.... you probably loose custom in the day/evening as a result of no front of desk.
A shout out to bar staff member, sorry didnt get his name, but was only staff interaction in whole visit and he was excellent.

Automated check-in and check-out service. Very disappointed, no front of house, nobody around to help. Breakfast similar scenario, left to fend for yourself. Didn’t feel welcomed, no hospitality. First time ever I’ve complained or even left any review. I’d only go back at very very last resort. Positive the room looked to be recently renovated and was decent size.

Nice Rooms, Amazing Restaurant

Stayed in the Stallingborough Hotel for 2 nights as part of a business trip.

The room was clean, tidy with comfortable beds and spare pillows. The decor is a little dated but that takes nothing away from the stay. The shower was excellent.

Breakfast was delicious and the coffee exceptional!

I had one evening meal and it was absolutely superb. The pulled beef pie was home made and packed with very tasty meat with a wonderful gravy. The restaurant is justifiably very popular.

I will certainly stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times now. Its mainly to be next to family who live nearby. The staff are extremely courteous, helpful, friendly and do their best to put our requirements first. The breakfast is amazing, local produve, cooked well and attentive service.We wont stay anywhere else in the area.

The room was a little outdated but all was in good order. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best I’ve slept in for a while. The room was dark and quiet at night and the tv was massive. The kettle was fixed in a strange location low down, under a cupboard but that was the only unusual thing. The food was great, both evening meal and breakafast with a good selection of higher-end traditional pub food and the beer selection at the bar was spot on - black sheep on tap! Staff were lovely; polite, funny and attentive. Has a small but perfectly formed gym which I used. Was nice and cold in there, some hotel gyms are as hot as saunas….

A very pleasant experience

My 4 night stay to attend a wedding was extremely pleasant. Comfortable and very clean room. Friendly, polite and helpful staff who accommodated every request.
The quality of the meals in the restaurant was superb with a good selection of items on the menu which was also based on locally sources produce.
I would definitely book this venue again.

Arrived at 9pm to a big smiling welcome at reception. Nice bar and restaurant.
Superb double room, amazing large comfortable bed, large wall fitted TV and coffee table and sofa beneath.
Quiet evening good sleep and in the morning an excellent breakfast wide choice etc.
Excellent value.

The wedding which we were at was very nice. The garden room, areas of hotels and corridor were all fairly modern but very clean and tidy. The rooms, although comfortable, really need updating. It’s like walking back to the 80s.

Very good stay

Very good stay for a family wedding, friendly efficient staff, functional room. One small gripe is that the tv in the room would only show BBC 1 & 2, the picture and sound on all other channels broke up, i suspect this was probably atmospherics. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

I decided to go for a standard room, as it was within my company budget. The room I had was nice, clean and well maintained. My only gripe is the size of the bed, im 6’2”, my feet and ankles hung of the end of the bed. I think the bed was a standard double.
I ate dinner in the restaurant and found the staff to be very friendly and the food was great!
Breakfast was great too where all the cooked food was freshly prepared to order.

Ground floor room no steps so perfect. Staff very friendly and evening meal in restaurant was good. Could improve on there wine list and add some reasonably priced French wine. It does exist ! Breakfast was OK though the cooked at 8.45 looked as if it had been there for a couple of hours, instead of fresh. All in All we liked this hotel and will stay again

I had no heating in my room, neither did my colleague. It was freezing. The shower was eitger scolding hot or if you turned it down slightly, it was freezing cold. So cold room to the point of shivering and cold shower on top of that. Breakfast was nice, however, I gave my room number. They went off, pressumibly to check my number off then I ordered breakfast. On check out they told me I had a room only rate. I did not realise this, so instead of reminding me at breakfast time, they instead charged me £10.50 for poached eggs on toast, not impressed! Evening meal was not good either, my colleague could not eat theirs. Other than that, ok rooms, ok gym and staff very friendly. Definately not worth the money, others have also said this after staying and I would definately not stay again

This was my second stay at this property - the room I had was in need of a spruce up, the furniture and decor would be described as being dated. The hotel is in the process of some building work, this doesn't seem to be disrupting the accommodation area, but i understand that some of the rooms have had some refreshing of the decor. On this stay I didn't eat in the bar in the evening, however I did have breakfast there - a nice (and slightly simple) selection, the hot food was cooked to order.
All the staff members that I met were really friendly and helpful. I was working in Grimsby the following day, and the location here is ideal.

One member of staff on my arrival could not have been more helpful however the rest of his team lacked manners, respect and customer service. The fire alarm went off twice every morning I was there, 3 mornings in a row!!! The drinks seemed to be watered down, the water and juices were lukewarm. Fitness centre? I stood on the treadmill and the roof was too low so you can’t physically use it without hitting your head.
