This is the perfect location in the center for everything. Easy walking distance to all of the enjoyment between the French Quarters to Bourbon St. Beautiful stay we had and staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The Restaurant Ruby Slipper is everything and enjoyed it all. This will be our go to and price was reasonable as well. Thank you all at Pelham Hotel New Orleans!

Fascinating place. VERY Spartan with no amenities other than a hair dryer and a Kurig with options. The room was small, there was a support pillar in the room next to the bed. No restaurant or bar, and only a bar-like area available next door for weekend breakfast. NO late checkout (or pay $50). Extraordinarily slippery shower (worst I've ever encountered). As the old saying goes \"Well, it DID have wall to wall floors and a bed\"...

I didn’t realize I booked a room without a wind. It was claustrophobic. No chair to sit in, bathroom floor had stuff on it and baseboard. Shower light was flickering then went out. Sounds like airco unit was right above us and very loud. Bed was good.

Amazing location in the CBD not far from the action but in a quiet area for a good nights rest! The Wild night life of the French quarter is a 5 minute walk away just across canal street but when you’re ready to call it a night the hotel is in a peaceful area. Caesars casino is literally 2 minutes up the street as well as the riverwalk outlet collection. This is my 3rd time staying at the Pelham with many more visits hopefully in my future!

Be prepared to get hit up for about $15 a day in extra fees, no choice about them. Hotel is really convenient and quite nice inside. Rooms are small but chic. Don't get anything for free. Street is really quiet and easy to load and unload in front of hotel. 20 minutes walk takes you to the far end of French Quarter. Don't even think about staying in the dirty nasty French quarter unless you are young and will be drinking all the time, then by all means do so.

I arrived at noon, check in is 4. It seems like my room would be ready early and that they would text me. When I came back at four to check in my room is still not ready and I could not access it until five. Kind of disappointing since I had plans to get to. The place is small so was surprised that they couldn’t have been sure it was ready in time

The AC in our room never got below 70°, which isn’t the worst but it was very hot this weekend. Would love a fan or something. The tiles in the bathroom of 104 are loose, and there was grout/sentiment coming out of the floor when we showered and wobbly tiles. The staff was absolutely delightful, and super kind and helpful. I like the fact our room had no windows, made it super easy to sleep and not hear any chaos outside.

Overall good and would stay again. Appreciate the security of locked front doors, the coffee available in the lobby, mini fridge in the room, the convenient location and the convenience of being in a smaller facility. As mentioned in other reviews, the photos are misleading- the lobby is cute but there is no bar there - just some bottles behind the front desk. Also would’ve preferred a bottom sheet that actually fit the bed as I was constantly wrestling to keep the mattress covered (gross) and kept waking up with my toes touching bare mattress. The room was nice and clean but note to staff to please dust the air vents occasionally.

Manager rude. The blow dryer sucked up my hair. It caught on fire. My husband reported it to the desk and requested the manager call him. Nobody called or addressed the issue. We got a new one sent to the room and that was defective. My daughter had one in her room and it also had a missing button ( that’s where the hair got sucked in). We had horrible and rude customer service. We had booked two rooms. My daughter had strep throat and wasn’t feeling good. I requested to cancel her room slightly less than 48 hours. Expedia was great and stated I could cancel but the hotel refused to allow this. I even stated I would provide proof with the urgent care visit/ drs note. I was disgusted with this place.

I would never book again with this hotel. They charge you 43 for amenities but I didn’t see what for they charge me for the bottle of water that was in my room. No clean towels the next day and no one came to clean the whole attire time we were there.

Room was clean and today. Staff was super accommodating as we arrived very early prior to check in. They did allow for us to check in for a fee, but we were super tired and well worth the $60 fee. They also allowed for us to do a late check out as well. Only downside for me was lack of a gym on site.

Location is the best. A quiet street just off the main drag and an amazing breakfast place adjacent to property. Only feedback is more light is needed in the room, specifically in the coffee making station. Although we found the hotel charming and the location excellent we had no water pressure and were unable to use the shower. We reported the issue at the front desk on our way to breakfast, and were told that maintenance was going to take a look at it. We returned back to the room after breakfast and still no water pressure for a bath or shower. On checkout we received no apology or any offer of compensation from the front desk for the inconvenience. Very disappointed.

The location was excellent, the hotel was very nice, the rooms were large and well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the security was great.

I had two 'interior' rooms with no windows during Mardi Gras. Sounds horrible, but it was one of the best rooms I've ever had. No street noise (in N.O. this is a real issue), as dark as I wanted it to be to sleep and you could crank the air conditioning down to refrigerator-level cold and it would do it. All in all it was a wonderful room!

Other than trying to get to the hotel during Mardi Gras parades which was a huge tactical error on my part, the hotel was easy to get to and 100% a great deal with parking. They only charged about $55/day for secure valet parking in a nearby parking garage. Sounds like a lot, but in N.O. this is a great deal.

I would without any hesitation come back and/or recommend this hotel! You're literally across the street from the French Quarter, but you don't have to deal with the French Quarter issues. If sleep is important to you, get an interior room with no windows!

Also, the staff were all very nice and helpful. I got lucky picking this hotel as I've never stayed here before although I've been to N.O. many, many times.

Loved this hotel!! Great boutique feel at a reasonable rate. The only negative was the smell in the room, which is typical of older hotels in New Orleans. Fortunately, I always carry air fresheners, so it wasn’t a problem. You can’t beat the location! The staff was courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

My first go to when looking for a hotel. Valet parking is available, but has gotten expensive, $51+ taxes per night but oh so convenient!! Just love this place.

I would say this was an excellent choice overall! I would definitely choose to stay here over one of the larger hotels nearby; you're getting top-tier value and service for your money at a lower cost. Rooms are clean, well-equipped, and my fourth floor room had a super high ceiling, which was a nice touch! Windows are large, and curtains are blackout, so you get the best of both worlds. The bathroom is very modern and clean, with a nice showerhead and good water pressure. Beds were comfy, lighting was great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge in the room! In terms of security, the front door is locked 24/7 and can only be opened by your keycard, which was good for peace of mind. The area around can be a bit seedy, but that's not their fault. Hotel staff are absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. I wish I got their names so I could provide specifics, but the folks I interacted with were amazing! Thank you again, and if/when I return to NOLA, I have no hesitation in staying here again.

The hotel is so cute and the staff were so friendly. It is an older hotel but had a renovation in 2022 I believe. Our room did have a musky smell but it’s humid there so I assumed that was why. There is an amazing restaurant connected to the hotel called Ruby Slipper. Easy to walk around the French quarter.

The hotel is old, and it looks like it. The room had very little lighting which makes me wonder what filth they were hiding. We had to ask for service every day (take out trash, refresh coffee bar and towels). No help with baggage. The entrance way looks like an alley - nearby trash cans and debris. No phone in room and texts were not responsive. The front desk needs training. The nearby restaurant was very good.

The decor is funky and fun, giving the hotel the spirit of New Orleans. Possibly haunted, perhaps just eccentric, this place made our trip perfect! We thought for sure for the first 2 days of our trip that we were the only guests. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and our front desk night staff was awesome and knowledgeable. No breakfast, but we weren’t in NOLA for hotel brekky anyways. The other couple we traveled with was so jealous after seeing our space because they’d booked a big box hotel and had the most basic room compared to our stay. We will definitely be back and always recommend The Pelham to anyone traveling to New Orleans! Super central location but still tucked away on a quiet part of the city, too. If you’re looking for a big luxury spot, try somewhere else but if you’re looking for a space that feels like your own apartment in the city, this is it.

My experience at the Pelham Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the warm and professional welcome by Josh at the front desk to all the wonderful services offered, everything exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—right in the heart of the French Quarter and close to all the best attractions and historic places in New Orleans, such as Canal Street, the Steamboat, the Sazerac Museum, and so much more. The rooms and facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere made my stay so enjoyable. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my birthday with my best friend. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

2.5/5- The hotel looked pretty, but half of the time the front desk service was lacking in terms of friendliness. The shower took quite a while to warm up, the room took quite a while to cool down (especially in the middle of summer), the Keurig didn't really operate well (it took several tries to brew a cup of coffee), and the USB ports were loose and would not keep the cables in. My partner and I had to take turns using a single wall outlet to charge our devices.

The parking cost was quite high but within range of the hotels around it ($53 including tax), but at least there were in and out privileges (which does not appear to be the norm in the area). I also didn't appreciate the additional hotel amenity charges (for amenities that I'm not sure existed).

The rooms themselves were clean, but the bathroom towels were tiny. Housekeeping service was tremendous though. I wish the rooms had more storage (particularly drawers to put clothing in).

I likely would not stay here again, especially given the prevalence of hotels in the area.

Loved our stay at the Pelham. Beautiful spacious clean room with lots of small perks like Community Coffee in room and downstairs. Very convenient access to elevator in Annex. Large spacious bathroom with upscale shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Only complaint was TV wasn’t working on satellite for 1 of the nights. Maintenance fixed while we were out the next day. Located very close to French Quarter and many restaurants and street car. Would highly recommend hotel. Will be a repeat customer on my next trip to NOLA.
