Property is quiet and yet convenient to main area. It’s worth mentioning that pick up for trips are usually a 45 min window . You are usually last pick up staying at Pascual Andino so I wouldn’t rush to make first pick up. We had a lot of waiting around as we’re ready from start time

Brilliantly located in the center of the town with easy access to restaurants, shops and tourist agencies. The hotel is very well appointed; the thought shows in the little touches that go into the rooms and public areas - small sit-outs, resort-style baths, ample lighting, fans and storage, offer of extra towels, free bottles, 24 hours tea/coffee and water... you have a lovely, cozy experience.

Fabulous 4 night stay. This hotel is a quiet oasis extremely close to the town centre. The rooms were lovely we had one with a small outside terrace a great way to relax after a day of touring. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. You will not be dissapointed if you book this hotel.

Let's be clear: San Pedro is kind of a weird place. The main tourist jumping-off point for the central Atacama, it clings tightly to a down-market, $5-a-day-backpacker image. The town offers essentially one long street of low-cost bars and restaurants, lounging stray dogs, energetic tour touts, cookie-cutter souvenir shops, and oddly expensive outdoor equipment dealers. In the evenings, all those backpackers kill time by walking up and down the street and looking for happy hour prices on beer. Happily, a block off one end of that peculiar mecca we found a calm oasis: the Pascual Andino. Nestled behind its high, blank adobe walls is an open courtyard surrounded by rustic-chic rooms, each with their own enclosed patios and access to a shared outdoor seating area and jacuzzi. The staff is solicitous and friendly -- and speaks excellent English. We had a rental car that they provided adjoining secure parking for with some prior coordination. Breakfast is more or less standard buffet fare, but was plentiful and good, and the one morning we set out before the breakfast room opened they boxed food for us to take with us. If you're going to use San Pedro de Atacama as a base -- and the sights within driving distance of it are most definitely worth it -- Pascual Andino is the place to stay.

This little boutique hotel is an absolute gem. The room was spotless and rustic. The shower was luxurious with endless hot water and amazing water pressure. The entire hotel is tucked inside adobe walls with cute comfy sitting areas and a small number of rooms to make the whole place feel quaint. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We would love to come back! We are at our next hotel and miss Pascual Andino already!

This was a lovely place to stay. Forget booking big hotels and opt for this boutique small haven set behind big wooden doors and offering a quiet place yet easy walking to restaurants. The staff are lovely and super helpful, breakfasts great and the spa lovely to relax in . Rooms have a private courtyard and ceiling fans. Very clean. Shower was amazing. Highly recommend.

Although there was occasionally difficulty communicating with some staff, everything always worked out and everyone was warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, bathroom spacious with great hot water, comfy bed and pillows. Overhead fan, but no air (fine for us!). Private back terrace. Our room (#4) was very quiet. Free loan of very nice bicycles of quality suitable to the local terrain. Coffe, tea, fruit available in the dining room 24 hours. Coca leaves help with the altitude if you want them. Fantastic location steps from the action but far enough away to be tranquil.

The hotel is very conveniently located. There is free on-site parking (upon request). Staff were friendly and accommodating. Although there are ceiling fans, there is no air conditioning so it gets a bit warm at night before it later cools off. We would definitely stay here again.

Brandon and his team were absolutely fantastic during our 3 night stay. The hotel is very customer focused and nothing was too much trouble. The staff were visible the whole time, there was a complementary cheese & wine event, the handyman even cleaned bird poop off our rental car. We've stayed in hundreds of hotels over decades of travelling and the Pascual Andino was one of the best purely from a customer service point of view. Many thanks Brandon & the team!

Staff was not very nice and forget about getting any service. To extend stay 1 hour past checkout, they wanted 1/2 daily room's rate. Their to go breakfast is a dry sandwich and stale fruit. terrible.

Solo travel and first time in San Pedro de Atacama. Stayed 3 nights and was mostly away from the hotel during the day. Service was great and personnel were very friendly - Brando and Andrea. Hotel offers limited space for parking but also allowing bikes for guests is clutch. Also having purified water on premises saved me money and plastic waste.

Lovely property in the middle of town, so easy access to the main restaurant strip and the tourism companies. They prepared takeaway breakfast boxes for the days we had tours starting really early, and offered us a lovely wine and cheese on the last day. The room was lovely, with a small terrace and a large bathroom with a nice clear ceiling shower in it. The only downside is that there are parties raging in town until 5-6am, so noise can be an issue. Otherwise, would definitely recommend.

This property is ideal. We were a couple in San Pedro for a few nights and uses this property as base camp for doing activities in the desert. The room is clean, spacious and the staff very helpful. It’s a nice boutique hotel. Good room. But fantastic staff (beyond expectation attentiveness and responsiveness). As just one example, I struggled with the high altitude in the driest place on earth and ended up with a nose bleed on my first night in San Pedro. I told them about it and they put a humidifier in my room. It was new so I think that it bought it because of my situation. There are many more examples of service orientation at this hotel. We loved it.

We were there in the winter and we found our room freezing. Like really cold. We had to hang out in the bed just to be warm. The floor is so cold and I realize this is common in the area considering it’s the desert, but for the price you pay, more heat would be great. Maybe have some slippers on hand for guest.
The pool is small and a nice touch, but too cold to use which is too bad as that was the reason why I booked it.

Like several places in San Pedro, this place keeps its charms hidden behind plain adobe walls. From the dusty street, you'd never imagine the tiny gem (only 8 rooms) that lies inside. From the inside, you're blissfully unaware of the sun-baked, tourist-crowded streets outside. Whoever designed this boutique hotel did a brilliant job with the smallish plot, using different angles and levels to create spaces that make the place feel bigger than it is. Our room was lovely - quality fittings and facilities (including a small private terrace at the back), interesting spaces, and earthy, restful colours. Breakfast was fine, with eggs/omelettes cooked to order. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we'd happily stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was helpful, the room was nice clean and comfortable. Having a small private outdoor space was nice, as is the common lounge area. The location is very good being a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. There are only 10 rooms so it's never crowded or too loud.
The only negatives are that there's no AC in the rooms, which wasn't a problem for me, but it may be an issue for others. Also some noise from a nearby bar was faintly audible with the doors closed, much worse when open. Again, not bad, but YMMV.

Pascual Andino was the best accommodation decision we made in our entire trip to Chile. Having spent a week in other parts of Chile, Pascual Andino was the first place we were able to truly get fully rested by night, while still doing activities by day. Checking in with Carlos who was that day's manager was great. We arrived early in the morning and our room was for later that day, but Carlos still invited us to have breakfast as if we had spent the previous night. First proper breakfast we had had during our entire Chile trip. Delicious with fruits, eggs, oatmeal, real fruit juices, delicious artisanal bread and more. So good, we decided not to book an activity the next morning just so that we could have that breakfast again. Our third day we did leave early, but they kindly packed a snack pack with fruit, a sandwich, a cereal bar, and a juice box. It was ready and waiting for us when we left at 4:30 am. The hotel is conveniently located a couple of blocks away from all the important restaurants and travel agencies in town. Close enough for convenience, far enough for quietness. Our manager recommended a tour agency for our day trips to the beautiful spots of the Atacama desert which did not disappoint. They lent us bicycles and steered us in the direction of the Devil's Throat. We weren't planning for an activity that morning, and it turned out to be the best surprise of the trip, biking in a canyon in the desert has been one of the best experiences of my life. Loved it.

Awesome property. The pictures don’t really do it justice. Each room has a small “backyard” area where you can observe the stars at night. There is a nice exterior central common area. Finally the staff are great. Carlos really helped us with an itinerary on how to enjoy our three days to make the best opportunity of what we were trying to see. Almost all his recommendations were spot on. The location is about 2 blocks from the main pedestrian “tourist” zone. Finally, there is on site parking within the compound it can fit 3 cars with no issue. If you are the fourth or fifth car, may need to leave your key with the front desk. This only happened on 1 of our 3 nights though.

Hands down the best place we stayed in South America. I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and extremely accommodating when we had to change rooms after deciding to extend our stay (they made sure the next room was ready to move in to right away so that we thankfully could shower after getting back from a morning of sandboarding). Location was excellent, only 1 block from the main street in town but also nice and quiet. The rooms were beautifully designed too - loved the inner cactus garden and the small private patio. Beds were very comfortable. And the breakfast buffet was delicious - so much fresh food! And they let you use the restaurant to sit and have tea whenever you wanted. This was well worth the money.

The hotel was nicely situated close to the main road but with enough distance to still be quiet. The bed was large and the bathroom was very nice with a shower that let in natural light through the ceiling. Staff was virtuous arranging our airport transfer, dinner reservations and even packed us breakfast for days our excursions had us leave before regular breakfast time.

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Upon check in they provided us with a detailed map of the area with suggestions for places to eat, etc. Caroline showed us to our room and again provided complete information. We had one issue with noise from an adjoining room and they responded in a helpful manner and quickly resolved the problem. The breakfast was excellent. Also Carlos and another female employee ( can’t recall her name) were the best. Overall an exceptional experience.

This hotel is very small and provides personalised service. It is very close to town and so close to places where you may like to eat and shop. The staff were also very friendly, and provided excellent advice about where to go for dinner. The only poor advice, for us, was about the tour company to use for tours in San Pedro de Atacama (Turis Tour - we do not recommend them at all!). The rooms were very comfortable, as were the bathrooms. The breakfast was fantastic. We have seen other complaints about both the takeaway breakfast and the noise, but we did not experience either of these. The takeaway breakfast was fine, and the room was not at all noisy. Our only minor complaint is that drinking water is only free for the first day, but then you have to pay for it on subsequent days. You'd think that the owners would want people to stay longer rather than shorter durations! A change to this practice would be just a small cost to them, but would provide enormous good will.

This was a small boutique hotel with a great location. It was just a block away from the main pedestrian walkway which had shops, restaurants, and tour operators. San Pedro de Atacama was a quaint town with all sorts of character and the Pascual Andino fit perfectly with this environment. Each room had its own little private patio and the bathroom and shower was huge. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful, especially, Cynthia, who made great tour and restaurant suggestions. There is a small hot tub size pool in the courtyard that actually had cool water as opposed to warm. It would have been nice if this was an actual hot tub, but this would be my only suggestion to improve the property. The included breakfast was very good as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you get the opportunity to visit San Pedro de Atacama.

We LOVED this hotel! San Pedro Atacama is a dry dusty place but the minute you entered the front door of this charming hotel, you felt as though you were in a little piece of paradise.
The staff were very helpful, especially Cynthia who assisted when we checked in, but also when we left. She went above and beyond the call of duty when our transfer didn’t arrive (we stupidly didn’t arrange it through the hotel, but direct with a tour company). We would have missed the plane without her help.
Our room was clean and cool with everything we needed. The lighting was a little on the low side, but OK. We had two very early starts so had an early shower and the water was lukewarm rather than hot, but not too bad. My husband had a shower later in the day and the water was hot and strong. Internet was a bit slow but useable.
We can’t comment on the buffet breakfast because we had two very early starts on the two mornings we were there leaving before breakfast was open, but the hotel kindly provided a sandwich, juice and some fruit to take with us which was very helpful.
San Pedro de Atacama is a very touristy place with lots of accommodation options – many hostels as the demographic is often young backpackers (not many middle aged couples like us!) but Hotel Boutique Pascual Andino is a top choice if you want something more upmarket than most of the properties on offer.

Lovely adobe style hotel with 10 great boutique rooms. Hotel is very convenient to everything and is one street off the main street so it is quiet. Manager is very friendly and helpful and staff is willing to help out in any way. Hotel arranged for airport transfers back to the airport with a reliable company. Willing to hold luggage and allow guests that have checked out to use the outdoor lobby/garden area for as long as needed on day of departure. Tour companies pick up right at the hotel. Property is secure. Hotel website pictures are authentic. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful adobe courtyard
I would stay here the next time I went to the Atacama. Quite well located and easy to get around. The rooms were great, the bathrooms 5 star and It had a great private feel to it. The courtyard is wonderful and the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. There are a couple of bars in the area where the music seemed to get continue after 11pm, but it was not onerous with earplugs or when the windows or doors were shut.

Cons: Everything else! The room does not have even basic amenities like fan, air conditioner, TV, tea/coffee arrangement. There is no outdoor pool. They have a small Jacuzzi. which is NOT an outdoor pool. This is certainly NOT what is expected from a 3 star hotel.
San Pedro gets really hot and without a fan we have sleepless nights. My wife's blood pressure went very high due to being so uncomfortable. Even low priced Hostals in San Pedro have TV, cable and fans.
The receptionist is great and she tries to help as much as she can. But she cannot control the extremely hot weather when sleeping is impossible without air-conditioning, or our boredom when we have no tours and are stuck in the room with no TV! Not to mention, not having the simple pleasure of a cup of tea late in the night or morning!
If the information about the lack of fans, etc had been provided, we would not have selected this place. It is simply too expensive for what it provides, or rather does not provide.

The hotel itself is beautiful, its only got a few rooms so its quite small in size. But the staff are incredible! They are only there (from memory) 7am-11pm, but we had no issues outside that time.
The room is lovely & clean & the shower is incredible!!!! We had a private courtyard out the back which was nice in the sun!

This hotel is fantastic. The location can't be beat. It's one block from the main street.
The rooms are lovely. In the Adobe style they stay cool during the day and warm at night. The bed is king sized and super comfortable with a down doona. There are drawers for unpacking into, a safe, a small outdoor area and a desk and two chairs.
But it's the bathroom that really shines. A huge shower with a clear roof lets lots of light in while still maintaining privacy. There's plenty of room for soaps and shampoo and conditioner and towels. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the bathroom.
There is no fridge in the room but there is a fridge available that they can put your stuff in if you want.
The only downside is that there is a restaurant/bar nearby that plays live music until just after midnight. Due to being so tired from the tours, this never affected my ability to get to sleep but it was pretty clear as we were getting ready for bed each night. If you're sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs.
The breakfast is served at tables in a shaded area near the entrance and is cereal, juice, fruit, cake, eggs, toast and ham and cheese.
The owners are fantastic and speak very good English. They will go out of their way to help you and are very friendly and have a lot of passion for their business. They built it on family land and are putting their heart and soul into it. And it's working.

Excelente localização. Fica a cerca de 100 m (2 minutos a pé) do início do movimento da Rua Caracoles, onde tudo acontece. Todos os funcionários muito amáveis e solícitos. Hotel charmoso, quarto, banheiro e varanda grandes e novos e ótimo café da manhã. Se o seu passeio for antes das 07:00h eles fornecem um lanche pra viagem. Não tem erro.
