I have complained and complained and complained to everyone possible about this already, but I really feel robbed by this host. Check in was a nightmare that took over an hour and the next day my family and I were locked out of our hotel room all day til around 1 o'clock , we stayed at the beach that morning but by 11 everyone needed in the room and we had a day planned and only the next day left for our vacation. This being the only vacation I could scrape up to reward my 3 kids completely school, it was just such a bummer especially not receiving any communication ever with the host.

Check-in is horrible. It is through a third-party took over an hour and a half to get the information just to give to the hotel to check in get to the room was a mess closet door laying there floors dirty closet had extra carpet so you was not able to use it in bathroom was full of people’s hair bathtub had cracks in it. Urine and feces on the wall took two days for housekeeping to come to clean called every two hours from the day we checked in talk to multiple people and management they tried to get housekeeping the first day told us that they was coming. No one ever showed up 11 o’clock at night. They said it would be the next day. Told us if we cleaned the bathtub they would give us some kind of compensation so we ended up cleaning the bathroom housekeeping showed up the next day only to sweep the floor not to take care of the rest of the problems. Had to call multiple times to get them back out when they showed up their reply. was they forgot about the other stuff called management repeatedly two weeks later we are still waiting on the compensation that we was promised, they do not care about their people once they got your money all you get in return is empty promises no assistance customer service and managers. Lie even had customer service hang up on you when you asked to speak to a manager instead of trying to let them fix something that has been going on for days.

Check-in is horrible because of it being third-party had to fight on the phone for over an hour and a half to get the information for the hotel to get me the room. When I get to the room closet door was off extra carpet in the closet. Bathroom was a mess, hair in the bathtub on the door on the wall, urine and feces on the wall and the less goes on called every two hours for two days before housekeeping came and cleaned after housekeeping cleaned they still did not get half of the mess up had to call back multiple times for them to come back out and to clean the bathroom was told by management that they was probably not going to show up because I will still try and get 11 o’clock at night so I could take a shower so I ended up having to clean the shower for me and my family to take showers was told I was going to get some kind of something back for having to wash and clean my own shower two weeks later I am still waiting and they told me it was only going to be 40 bucks after everything that I went through for a two night stay was on the phone 90% of it with multiple different management and that’s all they could give me back very bad service. Very bad management even had representative on the phone hang up on us when we would even ask for management lack of training seems like they do not care about the people because they already have their money.

I didn’t receive my check-in email and they couldn’t find my reservation when I tried to call but eventually we got it figured out and got into the unit. It was pretty clean, convenient with the cooking area and dining table. The best parts were the phenomenal view, access to the beach and the pools. It felt like I was in the middle of a large city on the beach with all the high rises around us.

The first room we were put in had broken AC. They knew and still put me in it. Then did Not wanna refund saying I didn't report it. I didn't need to they had a repair men coming in while I'm in there. Finally got a new room 2nd day in and a small refund last day. It took a lot of time from my mother daughter trip and ruined our vacation. The ocean access and pool area were awesome though. If your short and young looking be prepared to be asked your age for the hot tub.

Loved the Lazy River. Liked that it was undercover no worry about sunburn.
Beautiful view from our balcony of the beach and ocean. We saw a wedding in progress.
Could not get into our suite. The combination we were given did not work. We called a cell number and was given another combination that did work. This hapoen 3 times during our week stay. Most definitely did not like being locked out of our suite.

This was our 3rd stay in 4 years at the Camelot by the Sea but unfortunately this will be our last. Upon arrival most everything looks the same but the shower curtains are dirty and the floors were filthy. My daughter crawls and her legs were legit black. Not a crazy big deal we were just going to mop them but when my husband went down to ask if he could borrow a mop they wouldn’t let us because we booked online and it didn’t book directly from their site. It took us 4 buckets of soap and water on hands and knees to get the floors decently clean. The kitchen was also horribly stocked with cookware which was disappointing. Cooking anything was a smokey mess due to the pans.
We rented a 2 bedroom condo and were allowed 2 parking passes. My mom is having some back issues so we rented a golf cart for 3 days so we could get around easily. We got a parking pass from the front desk and I specifically stated it was for a rented golf cart. An hour later we came out and they were about to tow the golf cart because they aren’t allowed on premises. This is stated no where and when we were told that we were issued our second pass specifically for a golf cart the lady was very rude and said the guy was “new” and shouldn’t have done that.

We loved our stay the first 2 visits but something has certainly changed and we will seek a different hotel in the future.

Where do I start? First the employee that checked us in used G.D. twice during our interaction. During our stay we found out that our room was owned and managed by a third party company, and that any issues would have to be resolved by that off-site company. We couldn’t get pool towels from the front desk because they didn’t manage our room, and they can’t loan towel for anyone booked through said third-party. So we had to buy our own pool towels. After we used all our room towels we were not able to get more, but were told to use the on-site laundry and pay to have them cleaned. At 8 am on Friday during our stay a construction team started installing new drywall in the room next to ours so we were woke up to the sounds of hammering and power tools. The stay was a disaster from step one and despite my best efforts there is no way to tell on the app if you are getting a room managed by the resort or this delightful third-party. I will warn everyone I know and leave every negative review I can about this experience on social media, TikTok and anywhere else that I can.

We have stayed at Camolet for 15 years or more so it was what we expected. Room was a little nicer than normal. The reservation process worked fine and had good instructions. We did not have choice of what floor we were on ( 18th). I like to park outside our rooms. One major negative is the 10 digit code that has to be punched in to enter room.

Beach view was great. we have stayed at Camelot many times in the past and we always had a great time but since they have changed ownership and vacacsa has control over only some of the rooms they have went downhill. if you need help with anything you have to call you can't just go to the office because that is for the people that booked with capital ( the new Owers) The room was not as clean as they once were if we ran out of towels, they said we would have to take them and wash them in the community washer on the 1st floor (that you have to pay to use) also we had to take out our trash before we left. Plus, there was roaches when we got there, they did send someone to spray for them, but they left some kind of white stuff all over the floor. there was not a broom in the room, so I had to use paper towels to get it up. Needless to say, but we will not be staying there anymore.

The property was fine. Little hard getting the doir open with the keypad sticking. The security at the pool are so old that they couldnt disapline anyone. Kids playing catch in the lazy river and running around it eithout the intertube. Running and jumping into it in front of the guard and he saud nothings. View was fantastic. Apartment was old and sparse. No decent bowls. Only 1 small skillet. The oven was filthy. Could not have been cleaned this year. The cookie sheet and sheet pan were disgusting. There were plenty of towels and washcloth and the bathroom was clean. The view was fantastic. No rules followed in pools, making it a little hard for adults to enjoy.

The constant sound of the water feature was very annoying. The pool area is open from 9am to 11 pm yet that water feature remained on throughout the night. This made it impossible to sit on the patio and hear only the sound of the ocean.

So when we got there, we expected a condo. It was not a condo. It was a one bedroom hotel with the tiniest kitchen You’ll ever see . the pots and the cups and the dishes were filthy. Disgusting. The microwave was rusted. There was holes in the wall the air conditioning was not working. They only came once to fix it. They only gave us two rolls of toilet paper and one garbage bag per garbage. Then you are on your own to buy everything yourself Hotel itself was very nice but I will never rent from the company that posted on your site ever again. We made the most of it. Also, next time we have to make sure when we book a hotel that the property isn’t smoke free. It was really inconvenient to have to go all the way down to the first floor and outside on the street to smoke a cigarette instead of being able to do it on your balcony or somewhere outside Upstairs where we were instead of going back-and-forth up and down. they lost a liquor license so there was no alcohol on the premises again another thing we had to purchase overall if they get rid of the person that was renting out the room we were in and get someone in there that actually cares about the place the place is a beautiful place and has a lot of potential it’s convenient. It’s in walking distance to everythingbut was not satisfied at all withour room in fact we left it more spotless than they did I mean there was c.m stains on couch and blood stains on bedsheets . The suite and balcony was great! Clean and gorgeous view! Excellent location. Walkable everywhere. We don’t need the car until the next day.Comfortable bed, great value for the money. The big disappointment was, they didn’t provide coffee, we are early risers and we like to have coffee on the balcony. Also when we were ready to leave, we found a warning on our car because we didn’t have a parking tag on the car window. We were told we will find in the suite upon arrival. They didn’t have one for us in the room. We had a parking code. We thought that indicated we are staying there. So it seems like the property management has a disconnect!

We stayed in unit 0516. Would not recommend this unit to anyone. Filthy floors, disgusting carpet in bedroom and living room. Furniture was extremely old and uncomfortable. Cheapest plastic chairs on balcony. Access codes extremely old, took several tries every time. The unit I reserved for my grandson was better but access code didnt work and he had to wait for a manager to call him back then another 30 minutes for him to arrive to fix the problem.

Disappointing Stay – Multiple Unresolved Issues

We encountered several major issues during our stay that made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. First, the hair dryer zapped and vibrated in my hand when I tried to plug it in—clearly an electrical hazard. We were told someone would come to replace it, but no one ever did.

The bathroom was another problem. The shower/tub did not drain properly, leaving us standing in water and dirt. The bathroom sink also didn’t drain, and by the time you finished brushing your teeth, the entire bowl was full of stagnant water.

The listing states the home sleeps six, but that’s misleading. The sofa bed was completely unusable—the coils were poking through the mattress, making it impossible to sit on, let alone sleep. To make matters worse, there were no pillowcases or fitted sheets provided for it. Realistically, this property only accommodates four people comfortably.

We reported these issues three times during our stay and were told the manager would come by to help. That never happened. Since then, I’ve made five follow-up calls and still received no resolution.

Overall, the lack of responsiveness and unresolved maintenance issues were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this property until significant improvements are made.

The beach was nice and the area was okay. We chose not to use the pools and the entire area consistently smelt like weed

Property was exactly what we needed for our weekend. We were unable to get 8nto the room at arrival. Vaarscina sent a mamaher to assist and he was so friendly and helpful that we were no longer annoyed at the hour it took to get in
They donsupply rhe bare essentials, emphasis on bare. It would have been nice to have a few more mecessities, suchas coffee filters if they are supplying a drip coffee maker.
The view was fantastic and locationnwas perfect. The beds were comfortable, ac worked well. Room had been freshly.painted so it was a bit smelly at first wntry but it didnt last.
I would recommend staying here.

The lobby clerk had a poor attitude. First place I stayed where the property is serviced by different companies and if you arent in 1 of 60 rooms, the clerk does not gaf. He will dismiss your concerns and not care. His reference to Vacasa was at least a starting point . I tried the text chat option and moved to calling whwn i got no response in 15 min. The call waiting was about 15 as well(BTW, text response came 2.5 hours later). My problem you ask? I had no idea i needed a code for the garage and a code to grt in my room or what my room # was. Lamps were unplugged, TVs in rooms didnt work. Main TV in living room wouldn't get off of Netflix and I'm not entering my access info on another device i don't own. So, no TV. Door handle to balcony was coming off, fluid master in one bathroom was faulty, holes in front door where lock was changed but screw holes werent covered. Definitely not worth the cost

Very average stay , slightly on the low side of the scale . Had a slight stale smell in the room , the roof tiles and nooks and cranys are not pleasant, not disgusting but could certainly be better. The hot tub was luke warm and the shower had no hot water the 2nd night ?! Overall a good location with beach access , but wouldnt stay again. I just really like things to feel crisp and fresh, and hot water is a must ! Was a let down ... Beds slept good , so theres that!

I liked that the property had several pools/hot tubes and easy access to the beach. The room was a bit dated and carpet at the beach never really makes sense. Also, the curtians are old and the sofa is not comfortable to sit on. The kitchen appliances are also dated. It has everything you need, but is dated and very basic and the price was OK, but a little high for these accommodations. The parking garage is convienent which was very helpful. We did not have any interaction with any resort staff while we were at the property so we can't comment on that.

The room was clean and is close to Convention Center. The room we had was very convenient when it came to unloading and loading the vehicle. Definitely would stay there again

The one problem we had was for 3 out of our 6 day stay we didn’t have hot water to take a shower my husband and daughter got so fed up with it we left a day early even tho we paid for 6 we only stayed 5
