I will not return to this property. The room was dirty and not at all what I expected.

Place is in need of repairs. It needs a good cleaning, dirt in corners, doors, and floor. Pools and outside area were clean and quiet.

Where do I start? First the employee that checked us in used G.D. twice during our interaction. During our stay we found out that our room was owned and managed by a third party company, and that any issues would have to be resolved by that off-site company. We couldn’t get pool towels from the front desk because they didn’t manage our room, and they can’t loan towel for anyone booked through said third-party. So we had to buy our own pool towels. After we used all our room towels we were not able to get more, but were told to use the on-site laundry and pay to have them cleaned. At 8 am on Friday during our stay a construction team started installing new drywall in the room next to ours so we were woke up to the sounds of hammering and power tools. The stay was a disaster from step one and despite my best efforts there is no way to tell on the app if you are getting a room managed by the resort or this delightful third-party. I will warn everyone I know and leave every negative review I can about this experience on social media, TikTok and anywhere else that I can.

We have stayed at Camolet for 15 years or more so it was what we expected. Room was a little nicer than normal. The reservation process worked fine and had good instructions. We did not have choice of what floor we were on ( 18th). I like to park outside our rooms. One major negative is the 10 digit code that has to be punched in to enter room.

Beach view was great. we have stayed at Camelot many times in the past and we always had a great time but since they have changed ownership and vacacsa has control over only some of the rooms they have went downhill. if you need help with anything you have to call you can't just go to the office because that is for the people that booked with capital ( the new Owers) The room was not as clean as they once were if we ran out of towels, they said we would have to take them and wash them in the community washer on the 1st floor (that you have to pay to use) also we had to take out our trash before we left. Plus, there was roaches when we got there, they did send someone to spray for them, but they left some kind of white stuff all over the floor. there was not a broom in the room, so I had to use paper towels to get it up. Needless to say, but we will not be staying there anymore.

The property was fine. Little hard getting the doir open with the keypad sticking. The security at the pool are so old that they couldnt disapline anyone. Kids playing catch in the lazy river and running around it eithout the intertube. Running and jumping into it in front of the guard and he saud nothings. View was fantastic. Apartment was old and sparse. No decent bowls. Only 1 small skillet. The oven was filthy. Could not have been cleaned this year. The cookie sheet and sheet pan were disgusting. There were plenty of towels and washcloth and the bathroom was clean. The view was fantastic. No rules followed in pools, making it a little hard for adults to enjoy.

The constant sound of the water feature was very annoying. The pool area is open from 9am to 11 pm yet that water feature remained on throughout the night. This made it impossible to sit on the patio and hear only the sound of the ocean.

So when we got there, we expected a condo. It was not a condo. It was a one bedroom hotel with the tiniest kitchen You’ll ever see . the pots and the cups and the dishes were filthy. Disgusting. The microwave was rusted. There was holes in the wall the air conditioning was not working. They only came once to fix it. They only gave us two rolls of toilet paper and one garbage bag per garbage. Then you are on your own to buy everything yourself Hotel itself was very nice but I will never rent from the company that posted on your site ever again. We made the most of it. Also, next time we have to make sure when we book a hotel that the property isn’t smoke free. It was really inconvenient to have to go all the way down to the first floor and outside on the street to smoke a cigarette instead of being able to do it on your balcony or somewhere outside Upstairs where we were instead of going back-and-forth up and down. they lost a liquor license so there was no alcohol on the premises again another thing we had to purchase overall if they get rid of the person that was renting out the room we were in and get someone in there that actually cares about the place the place is a beautiful place and has a lot of potential it’s convenient. It’s in walking distance to everythingbut was not satisfied at all withour room in fact we left it more spotless than they did I mean there was c.m stains on couch and blood stains on bedsheets . Property is clean and room was well stocked. It has an indoor lazy river, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and pools. Room was booked through Vacasa. The only complaints we have are we weren't allowed early check in, even though it was requested at time of reservation and the room was ready by 1:30 and the smart lock on the door can be aggravating to gain entry into room.

Overall it was good. A bit outdated decor but it’s ok. Property said there was a dishwasher but it doesn’t. Was clean but still found some stuff under the couch when I opened the bed. Overall a great spot for a family vacation.

The big disappointment was, they didn’t provide coffee, we are early risers and we like to have coffee on the balcony. Also when we were ready to leave, we found a warning on our car because we didn’t have a parking tag on the car window. We were told we will find in the suite upon arrival. They didn’t have one for us in the room. We had a parking code. We thought that indicated we are staying there. So it seems like the property management has a disconnect!

Cheapest plastic chairs on balcony. Access codes extremely old, took several tries every time. The unit I reserved for my grandson was better but access code didnt work and he had to wait for a manager to call him back then another 30 minutes for him to arrive to fix the problem.

Disappointing Stay – Multiple Unresolved Issues
We encountered several major issues during our stay that made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. First, the hair dryer zapped and vibrated in my hand when I tried to plug it in—clearly an electrical hazard. We were told someone would come to replace it, but no one ever did.
The bathroom was another problem. The shower/tub did not drain properly, leaving us standing in water and dirt. The bathroom sink also didn’t drain, and by the time you finished brushing your teeth, the entire bowl was full of stagnant water.
The listing states the home sleeps six, but that’s misleading. The sofa bed was completely unusable—the coils were poking through the mattress, making it impossible to sit on, let alone sleep. To make matters worse, there were no pillowcases or fitted sheets provided for it. Realistically, this property only accommodates four people comfortably.
We reported these issues three times during our stay and were told the manager would come by to help. That never happened. Since then, I’ve made five follow-up calls and still received no resolution.
Overall, the lack of responsiveness and unresolved maintenance issues were extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this property until significant improvements are made.

The lobby clerk had a poor attitude. First place I stayed where the property is serviced by different companies and if you arent in 1 of 60 rooms, the clerk does not gaf. He will dismiss your concerns and not care. His reference to Vacasa was at least a starting point . I tried the text chat option and moved to calling whwn i got no response in 15 min. The call waiting was about 15 as well(BTW, text response came 2.5 hours later). My problem you ask? I had no idea i needed a code for the garage and a code to grt in my room or what my room # was. Lamps were unplugged, TVs in rooms didnt work. Main TV in living room wouldn't get off of Netflix and I'm not entering my access info on another device i don't own. So, no TV. Door handle to balcony was coming off, fluid master in one bathroom was faulty, holes in front door where lock was changed but screw holes werent covered. Definitely not worth the cost

The hot tub was luke warm and the shower had no hot water the 2nd night ?! Overall a good location with beach access , but wouldnt stay again. I just really like things to feel crisp and fresh, and hot water is a must ! Was a let down ... Beds slept good , so theres that!

I liked that the property had several pools/hot tubes and easy access to the beach. The room was a bit dated and carpet at the beach never really makes sense. Also, the curtians are old and the sofa is not comfortable to sit on. The kitchen appliances are also dated. It has everything you need, but is dated and very basic and the price was OK, but a little high for these accommodations. The parking garage is convienent which was very helpful. We did not have any interaction with any resort staff while we were at the property so we can't comment on that.

There wasn't any luggage storage..we got in at 9am and had to sit around until we could get into the room...also I thought I booked a hotel room from the Camelot but found out after paying that it was a private condo...so we had to buy coffee filters etc....they also wanted to keep condo clean when they didn't provide broom dustpan or mop....and 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for 7 days....there was no counter space and had to use top of stove...the pots were not usable...

The check in process was easy, parking was good, as was the location. The condo we rented is well worn and could use some intense cleaning and updates. While the beds and bathroom were clean, the living room walls were splattered with a liquid that had run down the walls and dried, there was a substance on the bathroom door frame and lots of dust. It was not pleasant. I will share that we made a call and someone came the next day to take care of all of these issues. The young lady was apologetic and quick to take care of everything.
