The Hotel Orleans was very well located if you intend to visit the old quarter and down to the river. While the rooms are quite 'cosy' they are well appointed and clean. The staff were all happy and smiling and eager to help with information about Orleans for your stay. Car parking is located under the square just a 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel issues you with a card before you enter the car park which you need to scan on entry and exit for a better rate than if you took a ticket at the barrier. Be aware, while the parking spaces are a reasonable size the entry and exit lanes are very tight and unfortunately I managed to curb my rear alloy as I was negotiating the exit barrier. Obviously this is not the fault of the hotel which I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located right in the centre of Orléans, a couple of minutes’ walk from the Place du Martroi. It’s a well cared for, friendly small hotel. We arrived early, and the staff stored our bags in a cupboard opposite reception.

When we checked in, we were upgraded, and the room was superb - very clean, comfortable and large. The shower was excellent. A very lovely, quiet and convenient place to stay.

A very central, clean hotel with friendly staff. The room was airy and the bathroom had a powerful shower. We did not try the breakfast. The hotel is off a main street, making it very quiet at night, yet very convenient for the city centre that has many restaurants and shops. It is also very convenient for the tram network, being 100m away from the République Tram stop (that deserve Les Aubrais train station within 15min). All in all, very recommended.

Had a wonderful stay with my family of four. We had a room with bunk beds. The bedroom was a little tight with the bunks downs but the bathroom was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Alexei at the front desk was amazing! We loved chatting with him and he was so helpful.

Dreadful dark small room with a view of a ladder. Not suitable for couples. I had upgraded room but it was quite micro sized. No place for luggage. We left early. Skip the breakfast, not worth it as there is the best bakery in town steps from the hotel.

The location and reservable secure parking was fantastic. The room was good but small and tight with king bed in it. Shower door was silly half door that allowed bathroom floor to be soaked. Staff was excellent. Room was clean except for large whirlpool bath had much hair in it. Overall good value and was nice place to stay.

Stunning on the inside. I loved the old-world ambiance and the beautiful furnishings. The coffee served in silver service was ooh-la-la! The room size was adequate, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a huge bathtub that involved a huge step up and over to get into. There was no shower curtain and the low mount of the handheld shower awkward to use.

At check in things went pear shaped as we were told one of the rooms had been cancelled- This was not the case as per my booking on the Expedia App 2 rooms booked and paid in November 2022 - Our travel companion was told her room was cancelled and the hotel was fully booked so she had to get a booking at another hotel - Then the hotel debited my credit card for the 2 nights after telling them the room was pre paid to Expedia in November. So now I am waiting on a reply to one receive a credit back as I have for 2 nights twice and we need a credit back for our travel companion as she did not get to stay the 2 nights in the Hotel that was pre paid and has had to pay for 2 nights at a different hotel. I am looking forward to this being resolved ASAP as a long standing Gold Member with countless bookings over many years. The Hotel offered no apologies for the mix up and tried to blame me for the room cancelation till I showed them the confirmation on the booking App

The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel ideal for exploring the city on foot, just two minutes walk from the main square. The only downside was the size of our room: I am a wheelchair user and had booked the only accessible room. The room is very small and it was extremely difficult to manoeuvre the chair around the room. The roll in shower had no seat (luckily I had a shower stool with me).

A vast array of shops almost on the doorstep yet the hotel is located in the middle of a very quiet one way street. A comfortable hotel to stay in and very well located with the square just a short walk away as well as the station. Planning of the layout of the room and bathroom let them down a bit with the wardrobe lacking shelf space for clothes and the shower, which was an excellent one, lacking a proper door to keep the water inside. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly.

Nice classic European hotel - good service

Hotel was small but well-apportioned. The rooms had hard flooring (a plus since they were nice and clean), wood accents, and a clean and well laid-out bathroom. Air conditioning worked but only limited the temperature on a very hot stay. By U.S. standards it was still a little warm. Desk staff (owners I believe) were extremely friendly and helpful, taking care of re-cleaning the room when a bunch of small bugs flew in the window that I opened at night and loaning me an ironing board and iron.

I did not partake of the breakfast, as I enjoyed wandering through Orléans and finding expresso and baked goods at different places.

Overall, I would definitely stay here again upon returning to Orléans.

The Hotel is a small boutique hotel, and it is very well furnished. It’s located at the very center of Orléans and it’s a beautiful city to visit.
The room was small so probably good for a romantic weekend or for a business visit, but not for a long vacation.

This is a small hotel - twelve rooms I think - well laid out in a convenient part of Orleans. room was very clean and had a well designed bathroom with good water pressure. Staff were helpful at check-in, pointing out places to park our car. Our room was quiet and aircon worked well.

Also we chose the hotel due to it having parking but this wasn’t available and I hadn’t realised you could book it - no option to. Therefore we paid €30 for one night parking.

This hotel is located within easy walking distance (even with arthritis) to all the special places in Orleans. It was super clean, quiet, comfortable. Lovely shower, the window opened, and the central air conditioning was easy to adjust too. One thing that I didn't like was their scrambled eggs and they should have more fruit choices for the breakfast. The room was also very small; just a small shelf for the computer, and very little space to move around. For one person, it was fine; but a couple should try to find a larger room in the same hotel.

Close to the main attractions of Orleans, this small hotel (12 rooms, I think), is comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable but quite small. Parking our car was not easy in the space available. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Great little hotel. Rooms are small (factor of the medieval building) but well thought out & clean. Location brilliant - right on one of the main squares (if you can find it by car......but that's another matter). Nice breakfast & eating area, even has parking but this is also a challenge, especially if you have a large family car..........
But overall a great hotel find, would definitely revisit and Orleans is a great city & very, very clean.

I stayed a couple of nights for work. Very neat hotel in the heart of Orléans. Quiet area: despite getting a room facing the street there were no disturbing street sounds whatsoever. High design factor, very fresh and modern place, including the breakfast which features for example freshly pressed orange juice, organic yogurt, scrambled eggs, and a good assortment of cheese, and of course good fresh bread (this is France). Staff very nice and polite. Room was small but very clean and smart, though the desk was more like a shelf -- an A4 fitted in landscape mode, not in portrait; I would vote for something you can actually sit by, at the expense of space by the window. The free wireless had some issues but worked well most of the time. However, the ticket one gets for the wireless has an expiry time, and the one I got was 24 hrs too short for my stay -- could be solved, but why such a complicated system is there at all I cannot see, as the number of hotel guests coming back to use the wifi after checking out should be vanishingly small; just give everybody a one-week ticket. Unless you need a desk or a fully predictable wireless, I warmly recommend the place.

Hotel was OK, not sure why it is so highly rated. Check-in was fast and efficient, but secure parking is an extra 20 EUR. Room is not huge but it is very clean though the air conditioner did not work. Safe was also not working but this is a minor issue. Wi-Fi is good, and service staff was reasonable polite and efficient. Rest of hotel is well-maintained and clean.

This is a small, but very well managed hotel. By my calculations, this hotel only has 12 rooms. The rooms are larger than normal and ours was clean and orderly. The hotel is located just a block off one of the major streets and therefore very quiet. It is only about 10 minutes walk from the train station and only a block from the city square. Especially liked the shower. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Orleans.

I stayed in this room in August of 2016 to kick off a bike trip through the Loire Valley. The staff at the hotel was very helpful. My bike arrived, and the front desk signed for it and put it in storage for me. The location was great, near the tourist sites and many restaurants, bars and shopping. I only planned to stay in town one night, and this hotel fit my needs. However, my room was tiny, and I don't think I could have stayed more than one night comfortably in this place.

The hotel is in a side street just yards from the big square and also within walking distance of the old town and the cathedral. We were lucky with parking as there was a spot available just outside the hotel but there is a big underground carpark in the square.

Lovely little hotel tucked away on a small street in the heart of the city center. Easy to walk around and see everything I wanted to see, good selection of restaurants nearby. I reserved a paid parking spot and used it, and it worked out great - glad to have a secure place for my rental. Room on the small size, but it was just me and worked just fine. People at the front desk were very nice, bilingual, and accommodating, including helping me get some ice for an ice pack. Hotel has obviously been renovated recently, it's modern. Smallest elevator I've ever been in, but hey, it worked to transport me and my luggage to my room. Only two minor issues - 1) like so many hotels in France, the shower is not fully enclosed, so the bathroom floor gets very wet - they even give you a squeegee to mop the water back in -- why not use a door or shower curtain?! 2) There was an A/C unit in the room, but it didn't work at all. I was told later that it hadn't been activated in the hotel yet, and that it wasn't warm enough by French standards. I would have liked it though, and it's not like anyone else was using heat in June, so it was odd this wasn't available. Overall, 9/10 for value-for-the-price, comfort, location, etc.

After a long journey from Paris CDG the hotel d'orleans is a welcome respite in the old town of Orleans. White marble streets, a carousel with full size horses and streets going this and that filled with shops and boulangeries. You may pass them by after the hearty breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice.
