Thank you for having us. Lovely hotel. Clean. Housekeeping lady with blue hair from Ukraine was lovely and sweet. Yuri at Bar was delightful too! Thank you for all the aperols :) team at front desk was responsive. Appreciate them fixing issues. In general, would stay again. I hope they fix lobby soon and make it easy to navigate with luggage. Also, please have engineering on duty at night to reset breakers or teach your team to do it.

Room missed the mark, some basic things were missed. No parasols or sun shades on the balconies meant hot tub during the day (or in fact any sunbathing at all during the day) was impossible in mid summer, not enough hooks (two gowns, two towels = only TWO hooks in the entire room??), shower leaked all over the bathroom floor because the drainage was not adequate, no rug/s in the room was a miss, we found a biscuit beetle on the first day, and our hot tub wasn't working for our first two days, and they were understaffed due to sickness so no pizza in the restaurant for the latter half of our trip. The staff kindly tried to resolve our issues with the room but did not have an adequate room upgrade, so we took a comped meal at the lovely restaurant downstairs.

Bed was otherwise comfy, internet was fine and transport links into Rome were great.

Staff try their best with what they've been given, I hope they can convince management to resolve the issues.

Great weekend in Rome

Very comfortable bed and room, lovely shower.
Treated ourselves to the room with a balcony which gave us plenty of space and a place to enjoy a drink in the early evening.
Very nicely appointed room and hotel, away from the main tourist area but that meant it was more peaceful.
Easy to get to the centre and plenty of mice places to eat around.

There one was thing after another staying here, it could have been great but it just wasn't. On arrival the bathroom was noticeably dirty, around the shower and tiles. Staff weren't the friendliest, service was repetitively slow, offering other guests discounted breakfast prices but we didn't receive any offers. Ended up paying €16 per person for a very poor breakfast meanwhile other guests were receiving the same for €10.

We left a spare key inside the room and upon arriving back after a trip out, it had appeared house keeping had taken it. Housekeeping had also touched and moved personal belongings which there was no need to go near.

Finally, on our last night of the stay we returned from dinner to a room with no electricity. Upon telling staff we were told to return to the room and wait for an update. We waited in a dark room with no electric for 20 mins before we went to find out more. Staff were rude about the whole situation, when 30 mins passed I asked if we could change room as we needed to shower, charge devices, pack and sleep before our flight in 6 hours at 4am. We were told no and to wait, asked about compensation for this issue and was told no, and when we asked if we could at least get a free drink so we don't have to sit in a dark room and wait for it to be fixed, she reluctantly agreed and was quite rude about it.

The hotel is tucked a bit further from main attractions so it is not as busy of an area, however TRIESTE is so wonderful and boasts many things to do, places to eat etc. Francesco was an amazing bartender who took great care of my husband & I during our stay. Great hotel, great location

Great hotel, slightly outside Rome city centre but not too far. There are a few restaurants round the corner and much cheaper than in the city centre.
We had a room on the top floor the balcony was huge! Lots of space to chill out with the family in between trips. Only negative was the jacuzzi had a mind of its own and had to get someone to fix it twice.

The hotel is not near the city center but it was perfect for us. It was in a quiet neighborhood and felt extremely safe our entire trip. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

A Must Stay

Overall, I am really glad I picked this hotel to stay at. It was one of the few recommended near the area I had to visit, about 12 minutes walking distance, which I appreciated. It is surrounded by a few average cafes (none really phenomenal) but the actual restaurant inside the hotel is spectacular! If you’re a fan of walking, it’s got a great neighborhood, and personally, I found it an easy 45 minute walk to the city center so I only ever used a taxi once. The hotel itself is pleasant, kind of a cozy little spot in the middle of a relatively quiet neighborhood. My room was incredible with its own balcony overlooking the streets. (One of my absolute favorite parts!) The mini fridge is stocked with a variety of drinks and unlike most hotels in America, they have a separate water kettle and coffee maker so you can make tea without it being contaminated with coffee flavored water. The decor is really nice, especially the gorgeous fake greenery with lights above the bed. The bed itself is not really that comfortable, both too hard and lumpy at the same time. Also, the closer space is quite small and I only was given 4 hangers total, which wasn’t enough for a 2 week stay. The bathroom was really nice—a modern sleek design, but it’s only flaw was the open floor layout of the shower. Hello, chronic flooding! Everything else was perfect.

Our stay in the Mecure in Rome was very positive. The hotel is situated about 10 mins walk from the Sant Agnese/annibaliano metro station: convenient if you wish to visit the colosseum or main train station.

The hotel itself was very clean with a huge bed and lovely big bathroom, the area is bizarrely quiet considering the location.

Breakfast was lovely with a big variety of food to choose from.

Staff were on hand to assist with anything and were very very friendly and welcoming,

for the price, location and quality I would highly recommend a stay in the Mecure. Molto Bene!!

Lovely hotel, awesome rooms. The jacuzzi room had a huge balcony. However beds in both rooms we stayed in were very very hard. The staff was exceptional and went above and beyond. The cold options at breakfast were plentiful but repetitive after a week. The hot options weren't great. All in all would recommend this hotel for a quiet oasis in Roma.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The renovated balcony room was indeed recently renovated, clean, fresh, and modern. The pictures online are completely accurate. The shower in the bathroom was spacious and clean and the countertop in the bathroom actually had room for toiletries. Bed was comfy, sheets were soft. Our check in was wonderful and we are SO grateful to be able to arrange for parking in advance. (We reserved a spot in their on site parking garage!) The hotel is a few quick blocks from Metro directly into the city. I also have to give a huge thank-you to the hotel staff for their help in rescheduling my stay. I made a mistake and booked Friday instead of Thursday night and they were wonderful in helping me transfer to the correct night. Truly appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay in Rome and the staff were very friendly at the hotel. However, there were a few points that could do with improvement. Firstly, the air conditioning doesn’t work in most of the rooms. Secondly, they do not offer a clothes iron or steamer on site but recommended the laundry service priced at approx €5 each item. Thirdly, the toilet tissue paper was almost empty when checking in with no replacement until the next day. Fourthly, the breakfast was a poor offering compared to others in the same price bracket - you’d be better paying for just the room and going to the local coffee shop instead.

Nice little stay outside the city!

My cousin and I had a comfortable stay at this hotel. We arrived very early from our overnight trip and was offered luggage storage and breakfast in the meantime. The room we had was very big and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful the entire stay! The only thing was that the room got a little warm and didn’t know how to just turn the fan on. But everything else was lovely. Location is outside of the city but east to get to all the spots with the metro and bus stops!

Little hidden secret

Me and my partner had a lovely weekend, the hotel had and is being renovated to a really good standard, the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast needs more attention very inconsistent in terms of lack of hot food, milk or teaspoons needs to be replenished more frequently.
This hotel is 5 mins from metro very accessible. The area has lots of local restaurants, great food, cheaper than city centre. Great little hangout called white rabbits is worth a visit for a few drinks of an evening and a cheap local restaurant called San Marino pizza busy little place.
Our room was 507 and big with a balcony. The bathroom was gorgeous immaculately clean!! Wish I had taken a photo of it.
Yes the streets are not very clean and graffiti everywhere but you get that in any city don’t let this put you off this little
Gem of a hotel. We would stay again definitely.

The rooms were small. The bed was not particularly comfortable. The bedside tables could only accommodate the phone; no room for anything else. No toiletries, no dressing gowns, no drinking water (unless requested from the front desk), the fridge was empty for our entire stay. Outside was very noisy during the early morning.
Sorry, this hotel was not 4-star!!!

I was concerned when I saw construction going on, but I didn't hear a sound when I was inside my room. Hotel staff was EXTREMELY kind, bartenders were great to talk to, food was top notch, jacuzzi was wonderful, and the best part is you could walk down the quieter side streets to go to other venues and restaurants without dealing with the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. I can not recommend this hotel enough... but that won't stop me from trying! I will be staying here again in the future.

Not the greatest experience

We paid for the best room in the hotel with a hot tub. The hot tub was very dirty, the sofa had a huge stain and the place has only 1 iron in the whole hotel. Which is bizarre as we paid £500 for best room as this was our honeymoon and at least expected to have a iron. Staff were always nice but as a 4 star hotel the room was in shocking condition.

Loved that there was flooring in this property rather than carpet. Fully renovated, very clean and had the option to pay a little more for a balcony room. There was a mini bar that was filled daily, small eating area in the lobby which you could come purchase drinks at anytime of the day. Front desk staff understood and spoke some English. Overall great stay. Is between the airport and the city which was convenient.

I've stayed at a lot of Mercure hotels and past experiences showed that I can trust the brand but not this hotel. We booked a standard room and although as gold hotels.com member I expected upper quality service but it was the opposite. You won't get any of the membership benefits here. Room was small and you could easily hear what was going on in the hallway or other rooms. Absolutely uncomfortable bed with squeeky and hard bedsheets. What I mean is that everytime you would roll or move in the bed, the sheets made crazy noices (not kidding). Room was lacking a fair amount of power outlets as well and 2 of the outlets didn't work at all. No warm/hot breakfast besides the coffee machine so its continental as best for that 12-15 euro price per person. Overall not happy at all, and would not recommend it.

I had booked another property and decided to cancel and chose this one because of the pictures that were shown on the website. The only thing that looked exactly like the picture was the headboard. Also, when we arrived the front desk agent would not allow us to check in stating that our COVID documents were not good enough and that we were not going to be able to do anything with what we had. He told us we needed to go get another test when as per The Ministry of Health and Italy government site, we just needed a test within 72hrs of arrival which obviously we had since we were allowed to board the plane. Agent stated we needed a Super Green Pass but as Americans, we could not get. We spent that first day deciding if we should go back home and cut our honeymoon short, trying to figure out how we could get the Super Green Pass, making phone calls to try to get a hold of someone from The Ministry of Health and as you can imagine, very upset thinking we had wasted time and money going to Rome. As it turns out that while we were there, the test we took was sufficient and accompanied by our vaccination cards as per The Ministry of Health explained to us. There was mold in the bathroom and I had to actually clean the bathroom a bit. Had to look under the bed for shoes and there were dust bunnies too. Also, my deodorant disappeared. I was shocked, could not believe it and didn't want to say anything until I confirmed it unpacking when I got home. Very unpleasant experience, PERIOD!

I like the layout of the room - everything was easily accessible. Check-in was fast. The hotel seemed to operate efficiently. The bathroom was nice. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Please note that although there are gym facilities, apparently they are in individual rooms and are not shared.

The location is quite far from the city center and the covered parking is limited. Th first room I was checked-in had human hair on the bathroom floor and its door would not even close. After complaining about the previously described I was moved to a different room on the lower floor, which was a bit smaller and tight. Walls were dirty and general cleanliness was poor. No pool but good rooftop views. Gym without AC and barely 3 machines, no weights. Breakfast was acceptable but too pricey for 15 euros.

The hotel was lovely and clean, all staff very nice and helpful. Used room service once and the food was delicious. The only problem was finding the hotel the first time. Once we knew where it was, it was very close to the subway system. The air conditioning was not turned on yet despite higher outdoor temperatures, but the balcony door opened and ther was a nice breeze.

Upon check in we discovered that our mini fridge wasn’t working and they sent someone to fix it. They told us that they couldn’t fix it and that they’d tell front desk to reassign us to another room and to wait for front desk to call. We waited in our room but no one called. When we went to front desk they told us the hotel was fully booked and there wasn’t anything they could do.

Room itself was pretty standard however there was no air conditioning because it hadn’t been turned on for the building yet. The windows opened to allow for air circulation but as our room was ground level and faced the parking lot, it wasn’t ideal.

The location is quite out of the way but accessible by metro; about 25 minutes to get to major sites (e.g. Spanish Steps). Large breakfast buffet but not worth it for 15€. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Nice and modern hotel in a very quiet area of the city.
Just 250 metres from the metro station Sant'Agnese - Annibaliano.
Great location, not touristic but a beautiful area where locals live.
There are a few shops and restaurants around, where you can find the necessary things for your stay, or having lunch and dinner if you don't have time to go in the city center.
Our room was spacious with king-size bed and a balcony with nice view to the city.
Rich breakfast with fresh and some organic products and a lot of space to sit.
Very pleasant staff at the reception, excellent staff at the breakfast area, little noisy staff at the cleaning dept when they were working very early in the morning.

Out of town but good access

Close to buses and metro for easy access to Rome centre although not a hotel where you can just nip back during the day for a quick change of clothes etc. Great restaurants close by. The roof top bar is closed from end of September which was disappointing. The rooms were good size, windows that opened and air conditioning that worked. Outlook pleasant.. Area is safe for walking around. No daily complimentary bottle water provided.
Complimentary tea/coffee/milk in rooms was dismal. One english breakfast tea (many days not even that) and milk is insufficient for more than one cup. Paper cups supplied. One of our rooms the complimentary bath wash had already been opened. A used jug was not taken away from the room and left for 3 days.

Good experience in Mercure Trieste.
Reception is well experience, hotel rooms is clean with fair space and neighborhood area is excellent prime and very calm.
Mattresses need a little of improvement and not very comfortable in my room.

Good hotel in quiet area

This is a great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in a double room, which was more than big enough for two of us. Free Wi-Fi, tea, coffee and safe included. The hotel was quite full whilst we were there but we never once heard any other guests. The terrace on the roof is lovely to sit on at night and nobody seemed to mind that we brought our own bottle of Prosecco up with us. Having said that, as it was quiet, the bar was operated by ringing a bell for service. If the bar had been fully manned we would not have felt so comfortable doing this. Breakfast was good and really had everything you need, if not all you want. They were very good at providing me with gluten free muesli, crackers and cake each morning. Hot dishes were scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausage and bacon each day. If you are gluten free or Coeliac, there is a restaurant about 15 mins walk away, where everything on the menu can be made gluten free in a separate kitchen. On Sunday the same place do a totally gluten free Brunch buffet, which is absolutely amazing local Italian food. The area was great for us and easy to reach from the airport by public transport. Also only a tube ride from the main attractions. Day tickets are 7 eur, 48hrs 12.50 eur and 72 18 eur, so excellent value.

Disappointing stay.

The bed was very uncomfortable and our two night stay was not enjoyable. The breakfast was poor quality and one of the staff was very rude and unhelpful- refusing to replenish bacon and sausages. I understand however he was a temporary employee.

It's a nice property and the area is likeable. There are many students as it is close to the Luiss University.
What I didn't like about it was that most of the staff were rude.It took us a 20 min wait to check it cause there was only one guy in the entire lobby and plenty of people waiting. He told us to sit down and wait. The guy at breakfast was very rude. We walked in at 10:45 and he told us that it was late and we only had 5 mins to eat and leave (in a very arrogant way). Breakfast closes at 11.00 am.

Hotel on outskirts of central Rome

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff and good at speaking English.
Meals were expensive for what it was, so we eat out all of our stay, would recommend the local bistros for coffee and Alice's Pizza....all good value for money.
Local metro station close by, 7euro for a days travelling, which meant all the tourist spots were easy to get too!.
Would we stay at this hotel again....YES!!

Quiet and very convenient

We had a 3 night stay in Rome, and this hotel although fifteen mins by Metro from the centre of Rome, was perfect for a good nights sleep after the busy walking days around Rome.
SERGIO ON RECEPTION WAS VERY HELPFUL, he even lent us a phone charger as we forgot to pack ours.
Lovely comfortable bed, aircon was excellent, nice hot shower, breakfast was perfect for what we needed.
The metro is under 5 mins walk and is so easy to use and was running until 1am apart from Sunday which was around midnight.
Perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Rome.

Excellent hotel located in a nice area. Loved the bar on the roof with a great view. Room also came with a smart phone that you could take with you anywhere and make free phone calls and free internet. Rooms were clean and staff was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here.

No issues, lovely hotel and location

Great stay, would visit again with no hesitation. Clean, friendly and safe. Good for city break just wished the room would get colder at night. That is the only complaint and it’s minor.
