The area was good. The surrounding restaurants were good. We got the floor requested, which was good. The room was a riot. Shredded carpet, falling apart floorboards, the curtains would not stay shut, three doors for the same room, which did not feel as secure. The deadbolt got stuck open for a while till we figured out how to get it to close. The beds were medium… Not lumpy but super soft. Four pillows which were hard as a rock, which is why I bring my own. One of the sheets had a mystery stain right where the head hits the sheets.The room was clean other than the corners that had debris. There was rust and huge paint chips. There was a hole in the wall, where something had been removed. Definitely not what I was expecting.
Not sure if other rooms were in this condition, but ours was definitely a surprise

The night front desk clerk was awesome. She was really professional and kind.

Front desk clerk in the morning, needs hygiene help really bad. Look as though she was high with those big glossy eyes and didn’t speak to me. She was wearing a big oversized onesies and hair was a nats nest oily and not groomed. It was gross.
Clean rooms for the age. Comfy bed and pillows.

The location is convenient, very close to the highway, which made it easy to drive to North Cascades National Park. There are also a few restaurants nearby, which was handy. The staff was absolutely fantastic, both at check-in and check-out, very friendly and helpful.

That said, the property really needs some basic upgrades and attention to cleanliness. The place didn’t feel clean. I noticed hairs in the shower area, yellow permanent stains on the toilet seat, and the bathroom mat looked like it hadn’t been washed. The pillows looked and smelled old (and were even mismatched). For something so simple, it would make a big difference if the management replaced them — even $5 pillows from Walmart would be better.

The bed was very soft and uncomfortable, and I barely slept all night. The carpet, chairs, and furniture look extremely old and worn, and the overall atmosphere gives the impression that the owners haven’t invested anything in maintaining the property. I understand this is a low-budget option, but there are basic standards of cleanliness and comfort that don’t require a big financial investment.

There’s no Wi-Fi at all — the lady at check-in did inform me before I paid, which I appreciated, but just be aware that there is no Wi-Fi available. The AC/heating unit is also very loud (though that didn’t bother me personally).

I wouldn’t stay here again. With just a few simple improvements: new pillows, a clean bathroom, and a bit of care, this place could be much better!

Motel is on main road which creates lots of noise, motel seen better days, outside looks fairly good but inside is very dated and dark, furniture is banged up, bed was on softer side and clean, except TV everything should be replaced. Bathroom sink and bathtub was sticky and visually dirty. I did not use courtyard pool, didn’t see anybody else using it but it was late afternoon. Good restaurant next to motel.

No internet -- major problem of rme. The up button to increase the temperature on the AC/heating unit didn't exist. Old TV cabinet still in the room has a hole in the back and looks totally weird. There are screws in the wall above each of the bedside lamps left over from some other light fixture, I would assume. The tall lamp on top of the old TV cabinet is ridiculous at best. The entrance ceiling light didn't work and there was no other ceiling light. The nightstand lights gave off very little light. If the curtains are open, the people in the room around the corner can look straight at you if they're on their balcony (which happened to me).

I would NEVER have stayed at this place if I were told in advance they had no internet.

WIFI is like oxygen - you can't take my money and then not give it to me.

The good: the bed was comfortable and the front desk ladies were nice.
The bad: There was no bolt on back door on the first room I had (just a door handle lock). So I had them swap me into a different room. Same thing--no bolt, just a door handle lock (chincy push the button in type). Maybe fine for the area (the front desk gal said it was safe, but I could put a door under the handle if it made me feel better), but I expect hotel rooms to have good locks. Neither room had a safety chains on any of the doors. The bathroom smelled like pee and the towels/bath mat were questionably clean. Overpriced for sketchy place.

Although this is an older motel, it was very spacious and comfortable. And even though it sits right along the highway, it was extremely quiet at night.
They were a little short on basic ammenities; creamer/sugar to go with coffee, kleenex and extra TP (this was remedied the second day). The WI-FI was also down but the cable worked for the TV. Loved that it put us closer to the sites in the mountains we came to see.

There's a few upkeep things that definitely need to be taken care of. I know things are expensive but it was really hard to regulate the cool air should not only was the button for Matt broken, even on the highest cool setting it was shooting off too much cold air. And it's extremely loud.

I always strip the beds before we leave to be kind to the staff. Upon doing so I noticed a huge stain on one of the firm pillows. Room 214. I meant to stop by and say something but I forgot.

The outside of the building could use a little freshening up. Scrubbing of the walkways and repainting.

The manager is incredibly kind and we will be back. We appreciate that we have a decent affordable place to stay within the valley.

My room had a very strong and nauseating pet (Dog?) odor. It also triggered my allergies and I had sinus problems which kept me up half the night. I should have requested a different room. The room had a sign stating no pets allowed, and I can't fault them for someone bringing pets in, but they should have had the carpets cleaned/room deodorized before renting it.

Receptionist said she did not know of anywhere nearby to get a meal and did not offer to look up nearby places on her computer. no wifi available. Happened to look across highway and a couple blocks away there were several places in a mini mall to get something to eat. No way to prevent window from being opened fully from the outside so had to leave it shut all night.

The front staff person was great. However, that’s it. The room needed to be vacuumed and the garbage was not taken out bride we arrived. The worst was a towel that had a dried brown substance on it. We could not get out of there fast enough. The photo online was not what our room looked like with maroon carpet and pattered and faded chairs complete with quilted cover.

The property is somewhat dated, but very clean and customer friendly. We had a good check in experience, and were able to get a nice meal at the Mexican restaurant next-door. For two tired travelers, that was a bonus. The room was very spacious, and there was a heated pool available. We did not swim, but it looked very appealing. All things considered, it was a good fit for us. We would recommend.

The property is poorly maintained, and it was disappointing. The Wifi was inoperative for the duration of our stay, which was cut short owing to a dispute about an article of furniture in the suite (a sofabed) which malfunctioned when deployed for sleeping. Management alleged that we had mistreated it by one of my 60-pound children jumping on it, but examination of the furniture showed that it had been repaired in an amateur fashion previously because of a similar problem. As threats of additional credit card charges loomed for repairs that basic maintenance could have prevented, the manager made it clear how much my children annoyed her, we felt unwelcome and feared additional issues, so we left after less than half of our stay. As the reservation offered no refunds, we had to pay the full stay's amount regardless.

Lots of issues around the property. There was a balcony which sagged several inches. That's probably unsafe. The pool was a deep shade of green and was closed I was told because it was off season (in June). The siding on the building was warped, and bulging in places, and the paint was peeling. Inside the room, there was a slight musty odor, and there were places where the drywall was patched with questionable competence. Much of the furniture showed visible wear, and the master bedroom door inside the suite had a device over the door which looked like it was part of some sort of alarm at one time. Too many issues to mention, so let the pictures tell the tale...

stained sheets, even the replacement sheets were stained, this included the pillow cases, pillow's and mattress. I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy clean sheets for my stay. I also left early because of this and the hotel refused to refund the night I didn't stay. The staff was friendly and tried their best, I have no issue with the staff. Also, the toilet never stopped flushing. The management needs to improve.

Poor parking, room heat broken, and room door crack was wide enough to view through from hall. When I made a call to have the heater repaired no one aswered the call after 10 minutes. There were no alternate numbers. No elevator to reach our handicapped room. I am 86 and my wife is 81.

Overall, I'd rate it 2.5 stars and not 3. While you get what you pay for generally, I would always expect to get clean towels + WiFi there. We did not get that. No WiFi, and the towels had stains on them. The staff could not get clean ones since everything was closed up.

The outside of the property was clean and appealing. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean. The pillow cases, towels & wash clothes all had stains. The furniture was worn down and scuffed. Most of the furnishings were from the 60’s. Avoid all rooms on the West end due to the noise from the restaurant next door.
