The front staff were very kind as well as the housekeeping staff, the hotel itself is the issue very run down and not very welcoming. The room had wallpaper coming off and the toilet paper holder had black tape holding it on to the wall and also had inappropriate sticker on the shower rod. I stay in Burlington/Mount Vernon a lot and decided to give this one a shot due to the hotel I normally stay at was sold out. NEVER again I feel like I wasted my money and would like it back! I couldn’t stand it so much I left at 5am. I work in the hotel industry and the owners of this hotel should be ashamed to charge $150 for the kind of room I got. NEVER AGAIN!

It's an older hotel but considering, it was pretty well maintained. It did have a bit of a carpet shampoo smell but not bad. While the breakfast had a nice selection, the hot food was luke warm. Biscuits and gravy is one of my favorites but the biscuits weren't great. Cold and crumbly like they were frozen biscuits that had been quickly warmed enough to thaw. The gravy and sausage would have been good if they had been hot but they were just luke warm.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We extended our stay a few times, and they made it seamless. Even when my daughter had my credit card while she was out with her boyfriend, but I needed to pay for our next extension, Jesse, the manager, was patient with me. The new furniture is nice. The old bed was already comfortable, so I can imagine the new mattresses that they were replacing day I left will be even better.

There was major renovation going on where they were changing out the furniture in several rooms. Even though there were several stacks of boxes on site, they were neatly staged and even the dumpster area for the old furniture and boxes was kept in order.

The breakfast was very good. The dining area was always neat, clean, and well stocked. The waffle maker was so clean that my waffles were never stuck! Most places do not provide anymore this full breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh OJ, coffee, muffins, pastries, cereal, fresh milk, and yogurt. It was delicious.

Thank you, Jesse, and the rest of the Quality Inn staff for a comfortable, relaxing stay!

Quality Inn in Mount Vernon, Washington is conveniently located. The room was very clean with air conditioner that works well.

While we're leaving today, there are new shipments of new furniture, and refrigerator boxes on all rooms delivered. I'm not sure why they were replacing the old furnitures and refrigerators, since the ones in our room were working well, and still look newer compared to other hotels that we stayed at in the past.

The hotel staff are helpful. It was an easy checked in and out for me and my husband.

Finally, Quality Inn in Mount Vernon, WA serves the best breakfast compared to hotels nearby. It serves warm food, and most of your breakfast favourites like scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits, waffles, muffins, orange juice, apples, and many other. The cafeteria has nice tables and chairs to sit down to, in a mini buffet type of food serving.

This is our second time we stayed at Quality Inn, Mount Vernon, WA. Each time we are around the area, we will stay there again because of the excellent accommodation, including to our small puppy dog.

Thus, based on the above experience, I highly recommend the Quality Inn in Mount Vernon, Washington. Thank you to the management and staff for caring of their guests decent accommodation and hospitality.

We stayed Friday and Saturday night.5/16 and 5/17. First off the positives, Alex was excellent with communications, skills and check in. On Saturday we can back to our room 219 at 8:45pm. I noticed the room was warm as when I left I set the thermostat to 70 as the morning temp. was cold and rainy. When we returned I went set the thermostat for the evening. I immediately notice that there was cold air blowing. I never turned the AC or cold air on and After 6 attempts and the thermostat would not change to the heat I went downstairs and communicated to the front desk that there was trouble with thermostat and could you come to room 219 and fix it. Shortly after the young man came up to the room, he attempted to adjust the thermostat with no success. Although he did turn it up past 78° and then the flames symbol appeared. As soon as I would lower the temperature to 70, which is what I wanted for the evening, the flame symbol went away. The young man at the front desk also observe this, but he thought just by turning up the heat to 78 it would fix it. I think its intentions were good, but on the other hand, I don’t think he understood anything about how it really worked. Your employee left our room. I went to the thermostat to turn it down to 70 the thermostat went dark. It would not light up. I again went downstairs and reported the problem. I am not responsible in any manner for your thermostat malfunctioning. It just stopped working. I’m not happy to say the least.

We really love staying in this motel. It’s always so cheap and clean and the pool room is warm! We stay here pretty frequently when I come to visit our older daughter in Sedro Woolley. I wish the outside lights weren’t so bring in the windows at night, but that’s literally my only complaint. Everything is always very clean from the room to the entire property and the staff and so kind and friendly.

Room and building were dissappointing and just sad. Broken fixtures, bathroom was puny, first room stunk, found another but no kid pullout, then finally another but door didn't seal well so could really hear the freeway. White noise was needed to be able to sleep...and then there was a bug in the bed, but think it was just a spider, or so we hope??? Pool was small and had a view of the freeway. Can't recommend.

No Wi-Fi the entire stay - it never worked and I had to use my hotspot and data. Requested housekeeping for the duration of the stay 2 times, and they never came.

The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the air conditioning came on every time the temperature reached the set point and blew cool air that defeated the purpose of having the heat on.

Was it the worst? No. But I won’t be back.

This \"inn\" is the very definition of mid. Don't expect anything special or unique that sets it apart from other freeway lodging. They call themselves an inn, but this place firmly lands in the motel category. The old adage of \"you get what you pay for\" couldn't be a better way to describe this place. Also, the parking lot is cramped and small. We will never be staying here again.

The only reason that I booked this “hotel” was the pool. On Expedia by searches always include breakfast and pool when the booking was confirmed. The confirmation picture is a shot of the pool when I arrived to check in at about 10 PM. I was met in the lobby with a sign that says pool is closed. Please be understanding. We will let you know when it is fixed when I inquired as to if it would be running tomorrow they said it wouldn’t be till next week, I asked how long it had been closed. They said it have been closed for the previous few days. The pool was closed when I made my booking the hotel did not update Expedia on this issue nor did they contact me so when I arrived too late to find other accommodations, there was nothing I could do.
On top of that, the second floor on the south side walkway is slanted, and my family was fearful that it would fall off of the building.
Breakfast was OK could definitely be improved. Overall, this location does not meet the standard that I’ve come to expect from Quality Hotels

The room was big and roomy. The outside corridor made unpacking and packing car very easy. Except for the trucks going by on the freeway, it was very quiet. The swimming pool was cozy and kept warm, jacuzzi was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage, buiscits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit waffles and bread. Very good stop, was happy I stopped for the night.

We had a nice clean double queen room and everything else was fine. The one item we were disappointed with was that all of the movie stations on the TV were in Spanish with English subtitles. Since we don’t speak Spanish and at 85 years of age have poor eyesight we couldn’t watch any movies and we had hoped to do that in the two evenings we stayed. It made for a very boring night experience.

I booked the hotel based off the images on Expedia. However, when driving into the property, the property looked run down and we were having second thoughts. I checked in and asked to have two rooms close together which we were given rooms on the third floor. I asked if there were any rooms on the first floor since we had kids with us and there were and we were given those keys. We went to the first room which was #108 and was right next to the pool and once we went in, it smelled like chlorine so bad. SO BAD! We went to the next room to check it out, #109, and it didn't smell too bad. I then went back to the front desk to ask if we can be moved back to the third floor rooms which we were able to. #308 and #309 rooms were okay. It looked like the carpets were not vacuumed in a while and there were towels folded in the bathroom but when you opened them, there was noticeable dirt marks on two of them.
There was a random hair clip on the curtains and just felt dirty.
The pool looked like the water hasn't been refreshed in a while.
The breakfast option was good though.
We booked this hotel for three nights but canceled the last 2 nights and paid the cancel fee of $87 per room went someplace else. My sister and I were traveling with our kids and we just did not feel safe at this hotel.
This hotel needs some TLC.

Sink was leaking, outside door lock to the room was broken, the staff was all nice and helpful, with the exception of the person who was stocking the breakfast, who told me that I am \"taking too much food\" (2 and a half plates for 3 people, myself, wife and daughter) and I was told I was not allowed to take food out of the room, despite every table and chair being occupied at that time, and I was holding a crying 1 year old child. Other than that, the breakfast itself was good. There was a nice variety, and the rest of the staff addressed concerns in a helpful way.

This Quality Inn (Mount Vernon, WA) serves great breakfast selections, in a nice comfortable sitting. By the time you're done with your breakfast you can easily skip lunch.

Though we visited Mount Vernon a few times, this is the first time we stayed at this hotel. It was a last minute booking for us since it is one of those places which is pet friendly.

For almost a decade, we traveled to the US for my hubby's Christmas & summer events. He works for a global radio communications company and each year, the Canadians joined the Americans employees and management to celebrate these special occasions, expenses paid by the company.

Since the hotel that was booked for us in Seattle was not pet friendly, and it was a last-minute booking for us. We know we can always find a hotel in Mount Vernon that accommodate this type of situation.

In the past, since we have an undeveloped agricultural property nearby (Conway, Mount Vernon, WA), we have used other hotels around the area; this is our first with Quality Inn.

Finally, if you're in similar situation like us, this hotel is highly recommended, with a surprise bonus of complete breakfast for a very reasonably priced accommodation. Thank you, Quality Inn (Mount Vernon, WA).

They did us wonders and because we were out of state they gave us a discount cuz we came here for work. Look we just wanted price comfort because we came to make money and take home more money. Rooms aren’t fancy but that’s what we paid for we just wanted to sleep comfortably and we did! We wanted a tv and fridge and wifi was good! Everything a man needs and they were nice and took care of us. Free breakfast included so don’t go looking for lavish living here, ur goal is to rest your mind and soul and go on with ur Washington adventure. God willing!

People a 10!! Totally helpful. Comments were made they are working on getting the place in shape. I could see this by the staff. The accommodations were just simply OLD and not reliable.
Property was a two. Stained couch, lights in kitchen area broken. Bolt on door broken off. Only way to lock door was door itself. No extra safety precautions available with our room. Lights on path extremely bright. Lights came through the curtains.

Great place for the price

The front desk person was very nice, efficient, and even let us check in an hour early. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was that the room had an overpowering flowery smell of some kind of room deodorizer that stuck around, even after we left the window open for several hours.

This hotel had a pool, which was our top priority since we were traveling with kids, so that was good. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of service- a little disappointing for us parents.

Also, unfortunately, the room had several cleanliness issues- stains on one of the bedspreads, stains on the wall like liquid splatter on the wall, and other unsanitary looking stains on the bathroom door. I let the front desk person know so hopefully these issues will be addressed before the room is occupied again.

Our phone did not work, they could here us but we could not here them. Went to front desk to tell them, didnt seem concerned. Couldn't get shower working, tried the phone again, still did not work, had to get dressed and go back to lobby. They had no one to come and fix the shower, so gave me a key to another room which i appreciated. I could not get shower to work in new room, so must have been me. I rang from other room, phone worked here and said it must be me can someone come and show me, said would come straight away as there were 2 in reception. Waited 15 minutes, still did not come. Went and had breakfast, got shower working enough to have a quick boiling shower.

Only a couple down sides one was they used enough bleach water to clean the room our eyes burned for 24 hrs with the window open but we knew it was clean so that was an up side as well lol. Only down side is the black mold in the bathroom. On the ceiling, down the wall and in the corners around the tub. I addressed this during check out as a precautionary to the hotel staff; for safety reasons for themselves and future guests.

The walkway that leads into the room has the aggressive lights. With that, the even with the curtains closed, light beamed into the room and made it hard to get fully comfortable to rest.

In 2 instances within the same morning, housecleaning knocked before check out @ 11:00 am. There was no sign to sign to let them know it was occupied and in one instance, they came in the room while were in bed.
