Pet friendly and the room was clean. Easy to get to things around it. New girl at the desk was super friendly.

Clean room, great staff! Would visit again!
Terry
Convenient location. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Early morning construction sounds next door were disappointing, but no fault of the hotel.
Patricia
It was a great hotel

I was visiting the area with a colleague for a group hike, and unfortunately, our experience was significantly disrupted by several issues with our accommodations.
Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed a faint smell of vomit. We hoped the odor would dissipate while we went out for dinner, but it persisted and was unfortunately amplified once we turned on the heater.
Furthermore, we were unable to sleep for most of the night due to an extreme amount of noise coming from the unit directly above us. From approximately 10:00 PM until 7:15 AM, there was constant stomping and banging; at one point, it sounded as though power tools were being used. The disturbance was so severe that I would be surprised if there wasn't damage to the flooring or walls of that unit.
I want to specifically commend the young woman working at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and professional, doing everything within her power to assist us. She attempted to call the room multiple times and even went upstairs to knock on the door to no avail. At 3:30 AM, she offered to move us to a different room, but there were no double-bed rooms available. While there was a suggestion of adding a roll-away bed to a single-bed room, this was not a viable solution for us after having already been kept awake for the majority of the night. As I was traveling with a professional colleague, sharing a bed was not an option, and the logistics of a room move and bed setup at that hour were not feasible

Thomas
Yes the room was in decent shape and clean but there needs to be updated with newer furniture
Lu
Room was very nice,,,\"the staff even better\". I would recommend this facility. It is also quiet, but for the distant train whistle on occasion which was of no consequence. There is also a quite good sushi restaurant within walking distance.
Lu
Room was quite clean & comfortable and also quiet. The office staff (check-in lady) made 2 trips up to the room in an effort to get the television to operate properly (very much appreciated). She was very apologetic and quite pleasant doing this. The system appeared to correct it self by the next morning.
Merle
Clean and spacious room. Very helpful staff.
Gautham
It is close to the Cascades and has all the facilities for our group of 4

Amenities indicated wired internet,
Wi-Fi and Cable TV with premium channels
No wired internet. Provided a password for Wi-Fi which would lead one to believe Wi-Fi was secure, although it was not. Norton notification would pop up on both phone and computer stating this as well.
TV remote indicates Netflix is available, which it is not.
Premium Channels- why would they not include Root Sports to enjoy the regions MLB team, The Mariners?
Expedia should update “Amenities” on their site to reflect what really is available.
Extremely disappointing

Great no hassles hotel, amazing staff, convenient and comfortable room.

We had never stayed at the Candlewood in Burlington before and will definitely stay here again. Our room looked out over the trees and we couldn't hear the train at all. Quiet, clean and just what we needed prior to our trip to the airport.

Had everything you need and nice
jennifer
My only complaint was that the room smelled funny. Maybe musty? I loved that the washer and dryers are free, and the pantry of goods for purchase (not overpriced either) is a great amenity.
Cheryl

The room was very nice. We had to deal with the trains passing by for most of the day. The beds were very comfortable. Nice Candlewood Suites..

Wonderful

I was pleased with the size and cleanliness of my room. The only minor complaint is that I couldn’t get the free Wi-Fi to work; I think it was because I am not a member of their rewards program.

Leslie
The Candlewood Suites in Burlington was great! It was clean, quiet and comfortable! The staff was very helpful and welcoming! I'm a frequent visitor to the area and this has become my new go to hotel! I highly recommend this hotel!
Joe
A great assortment of food, drink, and necessities in their pantry, to supplement your needs and the things you forgot to pack. And my favorite CoffeeMate creamer - Peppermint mocha..!!!
tony
Safer than nearby motels for the same price.
Carl
The room was very clean and well maintained. It would be perfect for a long stay. It was basically a studio apt. Staff at this hotel was very cordial and helpful.
Deborah
Great location to stay on the way to the San Juans.
Madison
Staff (Leanne) was very kind and helpful. Give that girl a raise.

Saved us in a pinch
We had booked another hotel on our trip back to Oregon from the north cascades national park, when we arrived at the other hotel it was very unsavory and we decided to find another hotel in the area, Candwlwood Suites was such an amazing find, after 3 days of camping kayaking and climbing a mountain it was a relief to find a clean comfortable room with amazing water pressure in the showers a nice comfortable firm bed with both soft and firm pillows! Also it had a full fridge and kitchenet, it was a true lifesaver considering I’ve paid more for worse when it comes to accommodation. Staff were very friendly and got us our room fast and efficiently.
Julie
Good for family or business
Comfy and clean. Stayed for soccer. Tournament. Easy access to fields.
Susan
It was easy, clean, large room, nice bathroom.
Aaron
Though the rooms aren’t as stylish and there isn’t a big breakfast bar like at the Hampton next door, the rooms are still very comfortable and updated. The slightly lower cost is nice but the selling point for me is the kitchenette with full-size fridge, dishwasher, and real cutlery, glassware, plates, etc.
Lance
2 night getaway.
The hotel was very clean and quiet. Parking and shopping and restaurants were all good.
We stayed 2 nights and would return.

Tami
The staff were so nice and helpful. Easy access to the room.
Sally
It was a great place for stop overnight.
Tasha
Spacious, very clean, bed is super comfortable, and lots of amenities. Would be a great place to stay for a longer vacation, so you can utilize the kitchen for your own cooking and such.
Debra
Spacious and there’s a kitchen! We could have used at least one luggage rack, but made due with the kitchen table. I should have asked!
Verified traveler
A good hotel and a nice stay. Only 4 stars for service as they took payment on the card that we had reserved with before we arrived. This didn't seem to be line with the Hotels.com booking policy and was a problem because we wanted to pay with another card so had to go through the process of refunding cards which was a hassle.
Shannon
We were in Burlington for a soccee tournament. This was a great home base.

Getting housekeeping service for room wqs difficult. The free self service laundry was helpful. Location needs better signage.
katherine
The hotel staff was exceptional. Check in/out was easy and fast. I spent one night here and felt refreshed when i woke up. I recommend you give it a try.
Bret
Great rooms! Clean, spacious, stocked kitchen, included bathroom products, and comfortable!
Michael
The staff at Candlewood are absolute rock stars!
ANGELA
Great price for such a great hotel. Large refrigerator and comfortable beds.
Mark
Excellent stay!! Outstanding rooms and amenities. Thanks Candlewood!!!
David
The team there is fantastic. They made the stay a good one. Property is definitely due a makeover and they are planning it. Would stay again if in the area.
Peggy
Comfortable and Great Location
We wanted to avoid Seattle traffic on a Friday night and get out of Bellingham where hotels can be $$ and this place was perfect. Very comfortable and the right price. Right off the 5, perfect location.
Tim
Recommend this place
Nice hotel with large room.
Stan
The hotel was neat and clean, the checkin process went smoothly and the area was quite overnight.
Marilyn
Staff really made above average effort to care for us. They were excellent. But beds were too hard and I’d prefer bar soap. Room had great kitchen options and a recliner for my husband’s bad back. Location was very convenient.
Susan
Very comfortable..like home
Eric
Great room close to tulip festival
Great little room with a nice kitchenette made the stay even better. The room was pretty nice, the pull out couch could use updating as there were signs of extreme wear.
JILL
This is the only hotel in the Burlington/Mt Vernon area with kitchen facilities (like a stovetop), which we appreciated since we don’t like going out to dinner and prefer making our own breakfast. Hotel is clean and in good condition, everything works. The bed is more comfortable than at most hotels, not soft but not too firm. There's no traffic noise since the hotel is not right next to the main arterial, unlike the other hotels nearby. A tip: if your room is near the end of the hall, park by the side door and access door with your room key for easy loading/unloading luggage.
Edith
Great location, room spacious and comfortable. Close to many options for food

Great place to stay
The reviews were great so we decided this is were we would stay for the sprint car races at skagit speedway. We loved this place, friendly staff at check in, clean, quiet, loved having a kitchen to make our own food (i have food allergies) there are coffee shops (woods/Starbucks) walking distance. It is only 15 minute drive to the speedway. They also have a cabinet in the lobby with anything you may want….blender, waffle iron, crockpot, toaster, oven, larger pots/pans, games, and many more things. The only thing I didn’t like is the beds were a bit hard other than that this is a great proper we will definitely stay again when we come back for the races!
Janet
Free laundry was great and right next to a small gym
Candace
They were quick to add a bed and very accommodating.

Place was very clean and staff was friendly. Seemed a little expensive for what you get.
Kathryn
Great room
Very friendly staff and very comfy room with extra amenities.

My double Queen had a full kitchenette and was very clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again. Close to the freeway, but very quiet and very reasonably priced! Staff was great too!
Candice
Loved the kitchenette…
Makaela
I was on time for check-in, however the rooms weren’t ready and I was given a five dollar voucher. What in the world am I going to do with a five dollar voucher?

Jennifer
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Quiet. Spacious rooms with a convenient and well appointed kitchenette.
Andrew
Staff was very friendly
Krisandrea
The stay was good and the room was clean and comfortable. However, there a musty, mildew smell in the bathroom.
Aliea
This property was incredibly quiet, especially considering how centrally located it is. The staff were phenomenal. The studio I stayed in was impeccably clean, slightly dated but granite kitchenette counters are more practical as you can set hot items down. I much prefer a slightly dated but comfortably and tastefully furnished space to a loudly colorful, awfully decorated, and trendy space. Everything I needed was there or available. I enjoyed preparing my own meals for a week while working on a project. Nightly mineral bath soaks, great linens and pillow options. It was the perfect setting. Do note that it is a dog friendly hotel, and I found essential oils useful for deodorizing the carpet before hitting the yoga mat. That was the only (barely) negative I have whatsoever. Such a comfortable, super clean, well-appointed property. I am amazed at the price point; and I look forward to the next week I need to work on a project and really focus. Perfect stay for an extended-stay type property.

No pool, no curtains the block the first floor view from outside in middle of a city and limited amenities in the building.

Kristina
The stay was good overall. I appreciated the parking, the mini kitchen to make and warm up food and the full refrigerator. I felt there needed to be extra blankets in the room and occasionally room service. I heard train noise but with ear plugs was able to sleep.
Deborah
Don't like fact that breakfast shown was included when made reservation and that was not available. Also bathtubs need non-slip surface--afraid to take a shower because of falling.
Brandon
Room was very nice and clean. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Rex
Great Hotel

The pillows were not comfortable. Wish they had breakfast.

Really liked this hotel! We would have liked ice machines to have more ice- the in room machines didn't make it fast enough. Overall great place to stay, and will stay here again!

'First time I've stayed here, and I was impressed with how they've thought of everything, especially for those staying long-term: full-sized fridge; \"lending locker\" in the lobby with crockpots, and other appliances, books, etc. for loan; supplies for cleaning up the kitchen area after oneself, and even a cork board near the table/desk for those working from the room. Bed and pillows were comfortable, everything was in top condition, staff was friendly, and overall I was very pleased with my stay.
Ananta
Clean and well maintained. Nice staff. Nice amenities
debbi
The front desk staff was very friendly to work with and very knowledgeable about the area. Where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc...
Dolly
They overbook, intentionally, to make more money, then they were dishonest about it and still charged after they greatly inconvenienced me. Place does not feel safe either because homeless(?) persons hang out there. It is an older hotel so dirt builds up even though the cleaning staff definitely cleaned the room.
Dale
Staff are awesome! Room was very nice. Liked the full size fridge.
Would definitely stay here again.
