Check in was rough, don’t think they put their phone down until I explained how rude it was when someone was trying to check-in.

The grounds are fine and the hotel room was clean. It’s not a super clean hotel but it’s fine if you have no one expecting something great.

The breakfast and housekeeping groups work hard - kudos.

Given the circumstances for our trip a kids sports tourney and not having a ton of options - I would recommend this place to others - regardless of the rating I am associating.

The biggest things this place should work on - add scents to get rid of the older hotel / carpet smells as I doubt they’ve swapped anything since the 1996 construction.

The housekeeping and breakfast should be acknowledged and you should promote that as your front of staff - check in was really below the lowest bar. But hard workers and the right teams make all the difference.

The grounds need a landscape clean up and freshen up. It’s just not great to walk in after seeing everything looking rough on the outside.

I’d clean up with paint - scents - landscaping and direct the front desk to put down the phone.

If I could give less than one star I would! This place was HORRIBLE!! RUDE RUDE STAFF!!
No hotel bar like advertised, no pool like advertised, the toilet wouldn’t flush, the sink leaked, only 2 towels and when they said they’d bring more up in “10-15 minutes” the never did!
We were afraid to eat breakfast here because of the dirtiness of it. The elevator expired 3 yeas ago - we were afraid to take it …I could go on and on!!
If you’re reading this, take my advice and book somewhere else!

The room was very clean and spacious. It was quiet but not many guests as it's the off season. The continental breakfast was so so. The waffle iron wasn't working properly so they were raw on the inside. Minimum selection of items and no milk 2 days in a row so cereal wasn't an option. Location provided easy access to attractions.

To say that we “stayed” here would be a lie. We stayed only long enough to find and book another place to stay. I have stayed in some places that I wouldn’t go back to, but I have never posted a review for anything, let alone a negative review, but this experience was so awful, I can’t not say something. We arrived after dark so couldn’t really see how it looked outside, but I can say that the photo shown in the listing is not the same building. Immediately upon arrival my family began complaining about the smell of urine throughout the lobby. I thought they were being difficult so we checked in. What we found in our room was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced anywhere, let alone a well known chain hotel. The smell upon entry was overwhelming, and not in a good way. The kitchenette cabinets and counter were covered in greasy handprints, the curtains were filthy and torn, there was something on the wall between the beds that my husband is convinced was blood, the walls were so gross I couldn’t stand to look at them and the toilet was dirty and not well attached to the floor. We tried to convince ourselves we could do it for one night but the thought of getting in the bed was it for me. We booked a room down the street and accepted that we likely wouldn’t get our money back. I couldn’t care less. I don’t think of myself as high maintenance, but this was unbelievable. Do not stay here.

The breakfast was all right typical hotel breakfast. The rooms are spacious and count with a small kitchenette which I liked. Cleanliness was ok but the thing that disappointed our family was the pool. They only have an outdoor pool which was closed. But it did say it had pool access which is to the hotel in front but it’s for 18+ only no kids even if supervised.

The curtains had no way to close, so we bought a clip ourselves to close them, staying on the first floor. Handles are the faucet were swapped. TV was probably 10 years old. No employees had uniforms.
Looks like maybe in middle of remodel but looked like a cheap remodel was being done. Back door to motel was open during the day.

I am a Wingate member. This property is at the lowest level. Although the rooms are spacious. The black out curtains were shredded. The carpet in the room had one hole and a few stains. The ice machine leaks and there are towels on the floor. The luggage trolley carts have dirty carpeting where the luggage sits. The elevator needed to have the floor swept. The breakfast had hot items but it was pretty much empty at 8:30 when we arrived. No one checked and no one filled the items up. The others who arrived after us were left out. This property needs some updating. There was one homeless man that seemed to hang around the parking lot. Our vehicle was safe though.
My husband was not as bothered by these shortfalls.
If you do not speak up, nothing will improve. I am hesitant to stay again.

WORST hotel to stay at so please do not waste your time or money!! Right off the bat noticed the carpet was disgusting, oil stains, toothpicks, paperclips and garbage it was definitely not cleaned. The shower had bugs in it!! There was a huge screw sticking out which you cannot see where the step was to go to the main area and restroom, my boyfriend and I both ended up stepping on it let staff know and they brushed it off (thats a big lawsuit waiting to happen) we should've had two sets of towels for this room and only had one, had to go downstairs and ask for more and the front desk receptionist was rude as hell. On top of that the tv was staticky you cannot see anything clearly. Also have photos of all of this! And lastly they will try to keep your deposit for damage already done prior to you being there!! I made front staff know about that after I checked in and was assured I wouldn't be charged then they try and charge, so please do not even think about this place just stay at Clarrion!!

Staff was not very friendly, no personality whatsoever. We've been there about 3 weeks and they haven't cleaned our room one time, even after I asked them to. Had to go buy sheets so we could have clean linens and probably have to buy towels soon. We have to fight them every time we ask for clean towels. The price is decent but service sucks and I'm pretty sure i seen cockroaches! AND the owners kids are runnin around up and down screaming, with their toys spread out all over the lobby.

Upon arriving we noticed bothe the recessed toilet paper holder and towel tack had loose screws and were coming out of the wall. 3rd day in our room keys stopped working and it took 3 days for them to come down and undo the one screw and replace the battery. Our other room smelled like it just had a drain back up and they tried to cover it up. It was rose scented poo. We didnt recieve mew towels till the day of our departure and all of our trash bins were overflowed. There was no clear sinage on where we could dump our trash. Overall, we dont make much moise due to the affordability of the hotel, but we do feel strongly that freah towels and regular trash removal shouldve been included in the price of the room.

The so called owner decided to kick me and my wife out of the room we had paid for, for no reason other than being caught in a lie. Me and my wife booked one night at the property on Thanksgiving. Check in was an ordeal, the girl working the desk obviously didn’t want to be there, which I can understand, so I won’t even get into that, but just know they’re going to charge your card at least twice, once for the deposit and another separate charge for the stay. But instead of like a normal hotel that charges you at the end of your stay and just keeps the card on file they’ll charge you for your stay before your deposit, and that first transaction will apparently inevitably fail and require them to run it again. The reason I’m writing this review is because I got a panic call from my wife telling me that the owner is screaming at her and is kicking us out because we didn’t pay for our second night. Mind you this isn’t really a nice hotel, but for $80 a night it wasn’t the worst. The owner then proceeds to scream at me that I haven’t paid for another night. Even though the sweet older lady who works overnight, helped to take care of me with a workaround because I originally booked through a third-party so they couldn’t just extend my stay. Low and Behold, it turns out I did actually pay for my second night but because of the lovely procedure, this lady decides to go by that first transaction inevitably fails. Probably so she can do this to multiple people and keep their money.

There was no trash can in our room and we found a toenail on our nightstand. Since we didn’t discover most of this until the morning, they said there was no remediation. This is the worst hotel I have ever tried to say at and I've stayed in hotels in 3rd world countries. I checked out within 30 minutes of arriving because the room was absolutely filthy. Torn up carpet, dirty bathroom, chewing tobacco stuck to a lamp shade. When I went to the lobby to change rooms there was an infant child of an employee who had removed his poopy diaper in the middle of the lobby then proceeded to urinate on the floor. I left. Unfortunately for me, the manager refused to give me a refund because complaints don't warrant refunds. If you care about your reputation you will take this hell hole off of your list of available properties.

We had bi garbage can in our room. The carpet was bumped up in several places that we tripped over. On the third and second floor the garbage cans were overflowing. There was a carpet strip in our room the screws were coming out of that I tripped over. The lady that checked is in was very rude. We reserved the breakfast room for a family gathering and noticed all the breakfast food hay had been delivered sat there the whole time and had been there for hours. It was yogurt and frozen biscuits and sausage. Another came in and angrily slammed the door because the food had been sitting there for hours. I have pictures is the carpet and garbage. We also had a dirty washcloth left in our bathroom from the last person that stayed in the room. We also weren’t given directions to our room or the WiFi password. We had two towels in the bathroom.

My room looked like it was under construction. Hole in the floor under the carpet, plaster all over including the door handle. NO HOT WATER ON THURSDAY NIGHT OR FRIDAY MORNING I feel we should get credit as I couldn’t take a bath or shower in the morning. Staff seemed like they didn’t care. Breakfast selection was very limited. Tv had lots of channels but not local. I was very disappointed in the condition of my room meaning you need to finish the plaster,painting and flooring.

I know no one‘s gonna see this, but I’ve stayed at many hotels within this and chain and by far the most disgusting one I’ve ever been in. It was clear that the room wasn’t cleaned, hair everywhere and I really did enjoy the complementary condom that was left. The fact that the doors don’t lock I had to leaving at about 4 o’clock in the morning because I was too afraid to stay. nobody at the front desk got a coffee, grab my car and took off.

This is an old hotel. Renovations done to disguise age. But, room furnishings well worn. No night stands next to bed. Elevator filthy. Reserved disability room. Toilet was not ADA height. Bathroom door was a pocket door, which was very difficult to open and close. Bed uncomfortable. Flat hard pillows. I think workers and their families live here. Found mother with her barefoot diapered child playing in the elevator. Child was standing on luggage cart. Cart too big for mother to push out of elevator and hang onto small child at same time. Therefore, elevator door kept opening and closing as we watched her trying to maneuver the cart out the door. Finally had to grab cart and pull out of elevator or we’d still be standing there watching the elevator door open and close.

The breakfast was the best part of our stay. The attendant kept everything stocked, hot and clean. Great variety of choices and was overall tasty. The front desk service was terrible. No housekeeping in a 3-night/4-day stay. Asked for more clean towels, they said they would deliver in 15 minutes (pat answer everytime), never showed up. We had to leave for wedding prep for my son, came back in evening, no towels. This happened every day. I finally walked to the laundry to ask for towels myself, door open, no attendant so took 3 towels. Two women came to my room and said I wasn't allowed in there, employees only. That's the quickest response we got. Our friend's across the hall toilet wouldn't flush. Went to ask for help, front desk attendant just stared at her, no response. She had to come use our bathroom and the one by breakfast room, they never did come to fix or offer to move her. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, I never will again. Wyndham used to be a good name in hotels-not this one.

It is a deplorable property. In the lobby there was no worker and blaring music. There are big security screens in public view. When the front desk clerk came up she sent me to a room that was non-working, with the locks and doorknob missing. I went back and she thought it was funny. She gave me the right key. I looked on their reivews and it said a lot of guests cars get broken into.. So I left and didn't go back. I drove back home and stopped my vacation.

I was amazed at the way people piled their plates with food. They ran out and we didn’t get breakfast. In 3 days I never saw a housekeeper. No washcloths in my room. You would think if you put your wet towels outside your room you would get clean ones in their place. The elevator floor was in dire need of cleaning. When we checked in and asked where the elevator is she told us we needed to drive around back because it was far away. Turns out it happened to be right outside the lobby door. Nothing felt clean. When I got home I actually washed my slippers.

The shower didn’t have a curtain so the bathroom got soaked from a quick shower. There was black hair all over the bathroom floor when we arrived. The bed was decently comfortable but the AC wouldn’t stay on so it got real stuffy. Also the “breakfast room” is a tiny back room and it was absolutely stuffed with people.

The place is old and smells old- paint jobs are not professional everywhere. Curtains were stained, topsheet was ripped and pillowcases stained, exposed light bulb and wiring in bathroom. Comfortable bed though and bath/shower works just fine. Despite the many reviews claiming there are needles and homeless people everywhere, I did not experience this AT ALL. They could just be more diligent about having clean linens. Reception was off-putting but not necessarily rude. Pool is in a separate building and outside; as a woman, I did not feel comfortable using it because it was fully exposed. My floor was quiet and peaceful besides neighbors blasting their music one night of my stay. Tons of options for groceries and eating out! About an hour 10 min from North Cascades NP which was my reason for being in the area. All that being said, it is NOT a four star hotel.
