The laminate flooring was not fastened down. The ends stuck up and we kept tripping on them. A plug in by the bed had no cover and live wires stuck out next to a metal bed. The hair dryer didn’t work. Breakfast consisted of two types of bread, a toaster, cold cereal, milk that ran out after a short time and wasn’t replaced, coffee and weak juice. Parking was along the street and not level. The plug in the sink would not stay in place and was very slimy. The staff was nice.

they provide you with a huge that the fridge is not on, turn it to 0 when arrive, ac/heat also not on. may take upwards of an hour to do either. this is in efforts to save enrgy. no idea bucket, coffee maker. was a mini fridge (needed wipe down inside). lighting poor. have to turn the 4 lamps on. still quite dark inside. bed was comfy. bathroom looks remodeled but not much effort. they have wifi but it even states you may hit be able to use al programs. I had to take wifi off to do anything. couldn't work on laptop no connection. so for the price it is what it is. days inn could do a massive rehaul for sure.

If you are looking for an affordable spot that delivers exactly what it promises, this is it! It is a budget hotel with a budget price, and we were happy with our stay.
*What I loved:Amazingly Comfortable Beds: Honestly, I got a fantastic night's sleep!
*Clean: It is an older property, but it is kept clean.
*Amenities: The AC blasted cold air perfectly and the TV worked great.
* Good Value: It met every single one of my expectations.
**Minimal Breakfast: The breakfast options are very basic, but it is good to have a quick bite available before heading out.
This place was perfect for my trip. I would stay here again the next time I am passing through!

Upon check in, the employee tried to downgrade our room by telling us they didn’t have anything else available and when I expressed we needed the room we booked as we have our dog with us, it was magically available again.
Room smelled like cigarette smoke and the walls are so thin you can basically hear your neighbor breathing. Property was not maintained well. The “free breakfast” is just a toaster and some cereal which is fine.. just a bit misleading when free breakfast is advertised.

I took thoes rooms based on the fact it was a comfort by whyndom. It should have read offered by mt.vernon police. We found out the first night that the police department put homeless people in there. The pool was never opened(though I wouldn't have trusted it) I was heartbroken. It was expensive and we were charged 100 per room damage deposit. Breakfast consisted of cheap toast and granola I. Bubblegum machines. Pay a little more stay elsewhere. We had ants in the bathroom, but the towels were clean. Toilet seat was severely mastered and distasteful looking. The beds were made nicely, but the sheets had stains. The room was not cleaned well. There were large chunks of debris on the floors. The armchair did not look clean at all and the lamp had a burned out bulb. The breakfast was sparse, but tolerable. The staff were helpful and polite though.

Beds are some of the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept on in low budget hotels.
The stay itself was horrific. I was on the bottom floor and directly outside my window. There was a wonderful man who decided at 12 AM. He wanted to start his car and blast extremely loud mariachi music that literally woke me up out of a dead sleep with my noise canceling sleep mask. Not only that but the hotel is attached to a Mexican restaurant/bar and there is zero parking.

I had to find a place to stay for the night so I decided to stay here because it was cheap. I had a 6 am appt for my 3 year old daughter and I live in the San Juan islands so I wasn't able to just catch a morning boat . There were people banging stuff around in their rooms, Hitting walls ? Moving things? This was going on at 2 am and it was keeping my daughter awake . I gave her a bath around 10:30 since we came in so late and I wanted to make her more relaxed. After running the bath I realized that there was a sharp hole in the bathtub about 1 and a half inches long . Trying to keep her from touching it and hurting herself. Finally got her into bed and the people next to us were so loud. Shes 3 and had to have surgery at 6 am . When we checked out around 530 am and headed to her appt she kept saying she is itchy ,few hours later I started feeling itchy . POSSIBLY bed bugs I will not be going back.

This is an old facility in disrepair. Peeling paint, cracked door trim, thin and uninsulated walls you can hear everything. Cheap floor tile looking like laminate and adhesive wasn't used. Broken hairdryer. Sparsely furnished. I expected at minimum a \"nice\" room for the price. Bed was comfortable and linens were clean. Hotel has that \"old\" smell and i think a homeless person was enjoying the free \"breakfast \" - which was a choice of two cold cereals and toast. Good: the staff was friendly and professional, the wi-fi was fast enough to stream, and the room cost is low

Bad:
- the room floor was some kind of vinyl planking, and it was all loose...the ends of the planks were raised and you could catch your shoe on them if you weren't careful.
- the room was generally clean, but when I moved the comfy chair closer to the TV, it was obvious that the chair wasn't moved when vacuuming.
- the rooms are very noisy, from the guy in the room next to me coughing to the lady above me on her phone...you could nearly make out her end of the conversation. The second night, they had rented the conference room for some kind of party...my room was 2 doors down from it, and there was noise well into the night.
- the 'breakfast' they claim is included consists of toast and cold cereal...that's all.
- I have no idea whose idea it was to put the coffee maker in the bathroom, but...ewww.

After staying for two nights, my room had not been serviced by housekeeping, and basic items had not been replenished. When I requested clean towels, I was initially told that staff did not have access to provide them, which was later contradicted. I was then informed that in order to receive clean towels, I would need to bring all used towels to the front desk for an exchange.

I was uncomfortable carrying used household towels through the lobby and placing them on the front desk in front of other guests. Despite this, the towels were then handled individually and counted one by one at the desk, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.

The room was dark, needed more lighting, and although the room was large, it was quite barren. The floors had recently been redone, but they were unfinished with large open cracks where the new floor met the old one. The toilet wobbled, not secure. This property was nowhere near the condition that I expected a Days Inn would be. I didn’t expect a 4 star hotel, but this was well below what a standard chain hotel should be. The carpet was such that we would not walk on it without shoes on. The overall condition of the room and hallways was poor and showed many poor attempts at repair/renovations. There was non stop activity in the parking lot outside the room window till early in the morning, making it impossible to have the window open for fresh air. On the plus side, the woman at the desk was courteous and offered me the option to park my motorcycle close to the front door, under cover of the entrance way and in sight of the security cameras.

Rough edge on the tile from the bathroom to the room, a patio-style table in the room that was low and I'm short, touch-up paint all over the place in different shades, the chairs look like it's time to replace them, lamp by the bed was plugged in on the side wall with the cord hanging, the beverage machine was sold out and needed to be refilled. Also, the dog fee was higher than most places. If I'd known that I would have stayed somewhere else that was nicer.
