Our plans changed last minute and the hotel manager was very accommodating and helpful in getting our reservation cancelled.
Also observed him checking in other guests and he was very courteous and helpful with them also.
Definitely will be staying here when we travel to Florence again.

The front desk help took forever. The room was clean and tiday BUT the Wifi sucked real bad, it was dropping the connection to the internet every minte and picking it back up. The devices would connect to their network but getting to the internet from their network was failing off and on so much you could'nt even watch a movie with out it constantly buffering

I commute for work to the Florence area. I stayed January 17-20, 2026. This stay, was nice. My second to last day, the sink started leaking onto the bathroom floor. I let a hotel staff member know. They did not fix the leak before I left. I am a firm believer that we control when things happen only how we fix them. So this did not mean I would not stay again. In fact, I stayed a second time January 24-27, 2026. I was placed in the same room, which would have been awesome had the sink been fixed. Not only was it not fixed, but it was leaking even worse; I couldn't walk into the bathroom without walking through a bunch of water. My second to last day of my stay and there was not longer any hot water any time of day. I will not be back; which really sucks. Their property is in a nice location and could be awesome if they had any desire to care for their customers.

When I got into my room. It smelled like cigarettes. I went for a run and returned and the room smelled like marijuana. The adjoining door had no lock and was blocked by a chair. The smoke detector beeped continuously. The microwave did not heat. The fridge froze everything. The tub floor had a mat glued to it and felt like it was on the verge of falling through. The tv was a Roku tv but the WiFi was not strong enough to stream anything. So no tv. I actually felt unsafe at this property and do not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are traveling with children.

Read several reviews prior to booking regarding the man running the front office. He wasn’t rude to me however I did have my 6’4” scary husband stand behind me making sure he behaved. It worked. However, I heeded the warnings & had my ID & CC out before he had to ask. Again he wasn’t rude to me at all but I could see had I been alone & maybe frazzled from traveling this guy would be a p-i-k.
The property inside the room is dated but shockingly the bed was better than the one we had at the Wyndham resort. Shower was great & hot! The traffic outside was extremely loud due to the downpour of rain. I was very irritated when our 2nd room reservation was at the other end of the same floor. The rooms in between ours & theirs you could see into. Each room had been stayed in & not cleaned.
The double queen rooms we had were really spacious with a very small older tv so be prepared.

There was zero staff support. The front desk attendant was less than helpful during our check in. He was rude and felt like I inconvenienced him. We came back for a towel swap and he told me to come back tomorrow morning but the desk was still open until 10pm. There was no breakfast items that were supposed to be available and the beverages that were supposed to be available, some were missing. The hot tub jets were not powerful at all. And the hot tub area needed some maintenance and clean up.

Rude little man at reception counter said \"Give me your ID!\", rather than request it politely. He's morbidly terrified of dogs! Hot tub is only warm. Pool is green. Dog poop on ground in pet area because they don't supply plastic poop bags for pet owners.Very few guests staying. Last time I ever stay at the dump.

At check-in, the short, pudgy man demanded my ID saying \"Give me your ID!\" rather than requesting it politely. The hotel pool is green, and unusable. The hot tub is more warm than hot. There are no plastic bags in the dispenser in the pet area, and there is dog poop on the ground. No wonder the hotel is empty! I will not being staying there again.

The room was clean but had a bad smell I couldn't get out even after 3 days of open windows and a fan. One of the front desk men was very friendly but the other was not at all and seemed very put-upon when I asked for a blanket. The location has a lot of road noise. The wifi and AC didn't work in my room.

When I needed help with finding regular network channels on the television, I was mocked for being \"old\" and that \"everyone\" knows how to operate a TV. While both may be true it wasn't helpful in finding a football game on the TV.

Our room was not very clean. In addition, the hand/body soap (container on the wall) in both the sink and the tub/shower were completely empty. It is clear that housecleaning is not much. In addition, the room was very noisy with street traffic all night long. If you need a quiet place to sleep, look elsewhere. FYI- when I tried to inform the front desk of the cleanliness and soap situation so the next guest would not experience the same issues at check-out, no one came to the front desk from their room area despite the bell.

We payed 167.00!!! for a room with no air conditioning and two spotlights outside that shined through a window with no blackout shades. It was like sleeping in a room with the light on. Shame on Wyndham for using its name to support such an accommodation. 167! Shame, shame, shame . . .

I booked this hotel while attending a wedding, and to be able to swim/hot tub after a 6 hr drive + breakfast. The pool was green (no swimming), the hot tub had no bubbles (staff said this tub doesn't do bubbles), and breakfast was a banana & juice. Nope, not for $200 a nite. I asked to check out Fri nite to go elsewhere Sat & I was told they would still charge for the full $200 per nite because of no 24 hour notice. Rediculous. For a Travelodge/Wyndham I was quite disappointed. The Driftwood Resort was much nicer for less and on the beach where the wedding was at!

My friend and I got there and dropped our bags off and then immediately left to go get dinner because we were starving after driving 4 hours. We got back and noticed the room was very dusty, the bathroom mirror had something smeared on it, and paint was peeling off of the walls. We looked at the pool and it quite literally looked like milk. We decided to go visit the hot tub and when we got in there we were met with blood stains on the chairs, a luke warm hot tub, and the jets wouldn’t turn on. I called the front desk and all they could say was that there was nothing wrong with the hot tub and it was fine. Later on, we rented a room somewhere else and checked out early and eventually they did admit to us that the hot tub was inoperable. They also told us that they “couldn’t possibly clean the pool everyday.” While I was there talking with them, 3 people came to the lobby to complain about various things. I was issued a refund but was pretty sternly told not to mention the hot tub or pool issues in my review and that apparently customer satisfaction doesn’t really matter to them. I do not recommend this hotel and I will never be going back.

Old, run down hotel. We were offered one room key for 3 adults. Coffee was days old, blacker than black and full of coffee grounds. Staff could barely speak English. The bathroom door would stick and was difficult to open/close. The room was not cleaned very well. There are not a lot of outlets. The only positive things about our stay here is that the room was spacious and it is right in the middle of town.

The staff was friendly enough and fairly accommodating.
Unfortunately certain things weren't up to expectation.
We needed wifi (no phone service) but it didn't work, the signal was too weak to reach our room and we heard all kinds of excuses from the staff instead of an apology.

The hotel and the room were not clean, not terribly dirty, but looked like an average surface clean was performed, I could still see hair everywhere and dirty floors. The bed was good.
Sound isolation between units is poor, I heard people all throughout the night, even with windows closed. And some neighbor had their TV going all night.

The area of town was not the best, but seemed safe enough. Hot tub is advertised but only open from 3:30 and the jets are not working.

Breakfast was basically coffee (no decaf), juice from a machine, some sad looking fruit and granola bars. Nothing we would consume unfortunately. But we're pretty picky.

Overall it was below expectation, and we weren't expecting much.

Hot water never worked. Reported problem, told it had just been reset, and to wait a half-hour. No hot water, even the next morning. Big hole in the sheetrock, scarred up doorways and furniture. Dirty coffee maker inside room. Bananas and granola bars in lobby for breakfast.
