I almost never write reviews, so it takes a really good or really bad experience for me to take the time. Let's start with the good - the bed was comfortable and the lights/plumbing worked. Now for the rest... The lobby smelled like bleach as did the water coming out of the sink in the room. The room was not the cleanest but not horrifically dirty. The fridge was loud but not intolerable. The heater was louder and intolerable to keep on for more than a few minutes at a time. This place is NOISY - as in do not stay here if you want to sleep before about 2am. The walls are thin so you can hear everyone talking/yelling/etc from the hallway and neighboring rooms word for word and it sounds like they are in the room with you. The ice machine is also loud and used periodically throughout the night. Also, this is not directly the fault of the hotel but my fellow travelers were extremely rude during my stay - numerous parties entering in the middle of the night and yelling/loud talking as if they did not realize they were in a hotel where others may be sleeping. In summary, I'd stay here again if there was nowhere else to go, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Because they don't allow entrance through the rear doors, it is a little out of your way to get to the hot tub. I don't care for the 5000K lighting used throughout; I prefer soft white 3000K.

Overall our stay was really good. The room was clean and in good condition, beds were really comfortable which was nice. The water pressure is really good too and the water gets HOT, hot, which was a good thing for me because i prefer hot showers but could be dangerous for some. The hot tub was really nice and clean, also very hot, it would ne nice if the windows of the room or a door could open to let fresh air in though, i like to be able to relax and soak in fresh air for a while but after only like 8-10 mins in there it was so hot we all started feeling nauseous. Also it was out of service for repairs the first two night/days of our stay, it was a really nice experience though for the short time aside from those. The last thing that though that was a bit scary and really dangerous, our room was on the second floor, the window did not have a screen on it or any type of child lock. If a child opened the window they could easily fall and get hurt, the fan/ac unit is directly below the window which creates like a step up for kids. i have a two year old who kept climbing up to look out the window, luckily i was watching him close because he opened the window on his own and easily could have fallen if i wasnt standing there. The breakfast was really good though and all the staff were friendly.

My room was clean and spacious; the hot breakfast delicious and had many choices. I like that the motel is recessed from the highway, which cuts down on noise. But the best thing about this property is the staff! I had left an important item in my room, and they not only called to let me know that the housekeeper had found it but also held the item until I was back in the area 12 days later. That’s what I call going the extra mile!

The room was super clean, but at a price. When I opened the door I was bowled over by a super strong cleaning solution smell. Luckily there was a huge window that opened wide and it was windy out. By the time I got things into my room the smell had subsided. Nice bed and pillows sheets were clean and crisp. Good shower and refrigerator and microwave. I was in the back building and it was super quiet. Did not try the breakfast. Definitely had a bumpy start but turned out fine and would stay again.

Room was very dirty, dust all through hotel room, microwave dirty,carpet wasn’t vacuumed , shower has mold, sink and shower had soap scum and left over used soap in shower, bottom of mattress pad had some sort of brown stuff on it, toothpaste on Murrow. The only thing that was clean was the refrigerator. I had to whip down a lot before even using. It made me second quest even if the sheets were changed I had to pull the whole bed apart to check .I would never stay in this Hotel again! The Staff who cleaned was Rokie I’m pretty sure. He needs to be retrained ex on the expectations of cleanliness .

Overall, I had a pleasant one-night stay here. I was initially hesitant, but the recent room renovations have done a great job of modernizing a very old hotel, and the room itself was comfortable.
However, I have a few suggestions that could significantly enhance the guest experience:
Cleaning Products: The scent of the cleaning products was extremely strong, which detracted from the room's freshness. I recommend exploring an alternative product that is still highly effective but has a milder, less clinical fragrance.
Ice Machine Placement: The current location of the ice machine near the entrance of some rooms poses a significant noise issue late at night. Relocating the machine to a less disruptive area would greatly benefit guests trying to sleep, particularly those in the adjacent rooms.
Guest Noise: I noticed a lack of awareness from some guests regarding noise levels in the evening. I would encourage the hotel to post gentle reminders about maintaining quiet in shared spaces after 10:00 PM (e.g., being mindful of loud talking and door-slamming and Thomping on the floor) to ensure a peaceful environment for all.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and kind. The hotel is located in the center of Florence making it easy to access different places. Breakfast was served from 6:30am till 9:30am which we believed to be a bit early, most hotels offer breakfast until 10-10:30am. Anyway we couldn’t really sleep in. The breakfast preparer was very attentive to everyone's needs. The room was about normal for Quality Inn. Only one problem there was the normal box for the bed and then box springs then the mattress. The bed was very high and my wife had a hard time getting into it. I had to assist her to get into it because of it's height. Otherwise the room was good.

I found my room to be clean and comfortable. A bit of a noisy hallway at times, but that's not the fault of the hotel, but rather, rude travelers. Breakfast was ok rotating days w/variety of scrambled eggs cheese omlets, sausage, bacon, hash, pastries, bread and bagels with a toaster, cereal, juice and make your own waffles), but l only wanted fresh fruit and tea which they had plenty. Parking was safe and convenient. I would recommend especially because the price was reasonable! Staff was responsive and friendly.

We had a room on the back side and it had no street noise at all! The bed was quite comfortable, though the sheets were beginning to show wear. The heater/cooler was too loud for sleeping, but was needed because of the humidity on the weekend we were there. The refrigerator was in need of a defrost so ran more than necessary, but we were glad that it worked. Overall, we felt the hotel was very nice, clean, and fairly reasonably priced. And we enjoyed the breakfasts!

The bad: the main building is separate from the lobby of the hotel, so my room was on the second floor without an elevator—that means I had to pull my luggage up the stairs and to my room. Also, the bathroom shower/tub faucet wasn’t working correctly.
Tip: call the front desk and ask them to put you on the first floor if you want to avoid carrying your luggage up stairs.
I would stay at this hotel again as long as I was booked on the first floor.
