The staff here was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast far superior from average. Jose made to order excellent omelets. The view we had was worth the stay. My only disappointment, the gym was not as advertised. The only thing that was functional was a lonely treadmill. There were no weights, as the machine was roped off and broken.

Room was very clean, bed felt fresh and very comfortable, location ideal to downtown Florence and also the State Parks, Dunes + So Jetty (crabbing dock, trails + beach). The warm breakfast was a nice amenity but only one small omelet per guest rule (understandable but I had a guest with me that wasn’t able to come down for breakfast and I was bringing a plate to) and the attendants were very wary on every trip you made to the food line which made it a little uncomfortable. They put very small portions of food out and the hotel was full! That was really the only qualm of the stay I had. Oh and maybe that there was no real view to the Siuslaw River because of overgrown trees. We were out running around finding our own views so this worked well for us anyhow!

This is the 5th Thanksgiving we have stayed at this hotel. While we do like it and LOVE the fresh omelette station for breakfast and gluten free options, the cleanliness and quality has deteriorated these last couple years. The rooms have gotten a bit dingy and the stairs a little rickety. The pool and spa have way too much chlorine… we smelled of bleach for two days after using them even after having taken multiple showers. Despite this we would still stay here again.

This is an old motel trying to pass itself off as something better just because of the brand name. The rooms feel outdated, the maintenance is poor, and the overall experience doesn’t match the reputation you’d expect. Definitely not worth the price or the brand’s hype.

room was nice. bed a bit hard. Breakfast was good...omelet when there was a cook there. I need to use the pool which is nice although a tad cool. Unfortunately it is a bit secluded and so I did not feel comfortable being there alone. i asked my husband to accompany me...glad I did as numerous male employees came in to use the bathroom would not have felt comfortable alone.

The hotel is run down and there was a musty smell in our room. The front desk clerk who assisted us was very strange when we asked for 2 extra towels. She argued with us about it saying we couldn’t possibly need extra towels, so we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The property is old and needs to repair here and there. There is rust and some brown spots in bathroom and balcony was not clean. The pillows are old. There are only two stand lights in room. Also it makes very hard to carry the luggage because there’s no elevator.

We stayed in a room whose floor had a dip from the bathroom and bed area. We both slipped on it and fell into the bed. This is not a safe room for at least older folks. It would have been the right thing to do to have a sign up to let people know about this. This was 352 so if you stay here, beware of at least this room.

Entryway was dirty, electrical outlet didn’t work and the worst was the toilet!! It was filthy. The 2 night $640 plus room could be better. Felt like a dungeon. Nothing like your ad.

I would not risk staying at a Best Westerns again. Staff was nice and I appreciate them. Thank you. No shade on you. Room was small but passable although the balcony view was mostly blocked by untrimmed trees and bushes. Parking lot is quite tight so you have to be careful with so many long pickup trucks. Manageable.

Overall however the quality of this hotel is a very poor value. I would give it a grade of F because of the great discrepancy between the photos/cost and reality. Price was $307. Had it been $100-125, we'd understand.

Cramped Sauna. Ugly dirty hot tub with lots of foam and poor lighting. A very small pool to boot. Parts of the facility are boarded up which looked 3rd world. Repairs must be needed. My wife and I were very disappointed.

For breakfast low quality bagels and mystery meat sausages were available. No decent yogurt was available. Why? That's not hard to do. Gas station grade coffee was plentiful. I was able to get a banana which was not ruined and my wife got an apple.
Omlettes were being made. Egg product was squeezed out from a plastic bottle and the cook used his gloved hand to cut them. Why no knives or cooking utensils for him? What was in that bottle? Now I understand why people buy campers. Visit the facility before booking to have a realistic expectation and avoid disappointment.

Good breakfast. First room had feathers all over the floor. They provided a second room after much urging. Supervisor was good.

The property is pretty outdated and everything was creaking, including the bathroom door. Breakfast is limited on healthy options but the omelets were a nice touch. The pool was nice but again, everything is outdated. The hot tub doesn’t fit more than 3 people. Paid $290/night during the 4th of July weekend so there is that. I would not pay that money if it wasn’t for the holiday.

Staff was wonderful at this property. The walls are super thin and you can definitely hear other hotel guest conversations. Although it is an older property, they do keep it clean. However, housekeeping left a prior guests dirty towel in our room behind the door. Hot tub/pool is inconvenient to get to.

The view was absolutely amazing! The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Newer remodel with some interesting work. My bathroom was a great size but not one outlet and it had a child’s size toilet. After running a marathon this was brutal! It was like doing a full squat just to sit down. Breakfast was in a great spot and they even had an omelet bar. Nice little place for a one night stay.

Just got back from a stay at a hotel that honestly blew me away in the best way. The room was super comfortable, really clean, and everything was so neatly organized—it made settling in feel effortless.

The hot breakfast in the morning? So good. I’m talking fresh, tasty, and way better than your average hotel breakfast. It actually made me look forward to waking up early!

And the best part? It’s pet-friendly. I brought my pup along, and the staff was so sweet and welcoming to both of us. It’s not always easy to find places that treat your pets like guests too, but this place nailed it.

All around, it was a great experience—relaxing, easy, and just what I needed. Definitely coming back.

Nothing unique. Front desk manager looked at the pictures I sent of dirt , mold and debris in room. he suggested I move to another room at first I said no and then I agreed yet when I went to the other room, it was just as dirty and the night manager just rolled her eyes and said\" it's not my job to do housekeeping I can't go around and check all the rooms for you to make sure you get the room you want you can go to another hotel\" it was late and I'd been working and driving most the day do I asked for the king room back . Angelic was not at fault yet could have handled the situation in a more professional manner. She basically told me she didn't care what I thought that I could again for the second time go to a different hotel. I went back to my room opened up. The windows didn't use anything in the room because it was obviously not cleaned up to the Best Western standards.! I will never return to this hotel. I am my best western rewards senior citizen, and I would expect that every best western would have better cleaning standards. I have pictures that I could share.!

Room was nice and clean. Pool should be open later. We got chased out of the pool area 10 minutes before it was set to close. The spa water and floor around the spa was very dirty. The water was cloudy and there was a scum ring around the top. Hair all over the ground around the spa. Also, it’s very small and outdated. The sauna was out of order.

We loved loved the continental breakfast. Whether it was the handmade omelets or the scrambled egg - so good. The batter for the waffles was really top shelf. The little swimming pool was a hit! The hot tub was super hot! However the showers only had cold water down at the swimming pool room. The building could use a little updating but the price value was SUPER good. My only recommendation if using Travelocity is NOT to use DOLLAR rent a car. Dollar doesn't allow you to take your car back to other cities or make any modifications. Also, there were several WARNING lights on in our Dollar rental car , ha ha. So we had to go back and trade it, but they could not even let us change it to their partner Herts to get out of the bad Dollar deal. I guess ww would use travelocity again but would just make sure we didn't have dollar rent a car in on the deal. Best Western was good!

The staff here is the best, very outgoing, very friendly and just a joy to talk to. They are very helpful when asked to help with something. The crew that did the breakfast was very good, responsive and always asking if everything was good. The omelets were delicious and filling.

The room was clean, the bedsheets and bath towels were clean as well, that is a big plus in my book. Hot water was HOT and the pressure from the show was fantastic.

Whenever I am in this area to do work, I really try to get a pet friendly room as I take my English Bulldog with me everywhere. The staff loves pets and it was just a great place to stay.

Can’t say enough good things about the staff here! From the check in process to the breakfast provided, everyone was so attentive and helpful. Angelique was particularly helpful when accessing the pool for an evening swim and warm beverage. Everyone has been super.

The pool was very warm, breakfast options were extensive and tasty, and beds were comfortable; nothing more to ask of a hotel.
