Staff were lovely, hotel was nice, the room was nice however there was barely any water pressure in the shower and the water would take forever to get hot

And for a 5* hotel the breakfast stations were waaaay too small, the options for breakfast were very limited and omelettes and fried eggs were being prepared by one chef so there was always a massive queue

The overall experience was beyond fantastic. The room was clean, the food was great and lots of options and availability. The staff were great and a special thanks to Simon the chef and all restaurant team. The swimming area was great too, thanks to Ly, ths life guard. Location great and overall experience was great. Checked in on 9 Feb 2026, room 436 and checked out 19 Feb 2026. We were two adults with a 6 year old. Highly recommended and will visit again.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. From the service to the facilities, my experience was perfect. However, I was disappointed by one specific policy: despite booking a Full Board package, I was still charged extra for soft drinks and tea during lunch and dinner.

Usually, \"Full Board\" implies that basic beverages are included with meals. I highly recommend the management review this policy, as paying for basic drinks feels out of place in such a high-quality establishment. Aside from this, it was a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Steigenberger Hotel Doha and would definitely give it five stars.

We booked the all-inclusive package, and the food was excellent throughout — breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all fresh, varied, and delicious. The overall service and cleanliness were outstanding.

On our second night, we experienced some noise, but when we spoke to the manager the next morning, he handled it immediately and upgraded us to a bigger room without any hesitation. The professionalism and care shown made a real difference to our stay.

Absolutely brilliant hotel and management — we would happily stay again and highly recommend it.

Hotel is very beautiful and situated in a nice place close to shops. They offer good amenities and breakfast offers a variety of dishes too. Staff are kind and friendly. The only area of improvement would be overall hygiene e.g. when we came into our room the shower glass and shampoo bottles had marks on it.

What a great stay at Steigenberger Hotel Doha. The whole team was great. Food was so good and had a well thought through diversity surprising us every day. The hotel was easy and very comfortable. It’s also well situated close to the airport and a short drive to the centre of the city. The star for us was the receptionist Cherokee. She was simply fantastic. After a first class check-in she made sure we were cared for and provided us with all the information and assistance needed. Thank you

Our stay was pleasant but we believe the cleanliness could be improved. Upon checking in, we found dust in the bedroom and some limescale in the shower. The body lotion and tissues were also empty. These small details could have easily elevated our experience to five stars. The heated pool was good and the staff were fantastic, always ready to help.

The bathroom constantly smelt of bad drainage throughout our whole stay.
The corridor is blasting out freezing cold air con when it does not need to be this cold.
They have a body scanner on entrance which makes you feel like you’re going through security most of the time, it does not look appealing. And the rest of the time they don’t even use it so they can’t be that concerned about their security.

After a lengthy trip, I wanted a stopover that I could relax before the long flight back to Australia.
This was perfect. Great pool area, spacious room and bathroom.
It is located away from most things, which I wasn’t worried about, meant I didn’t leave and spend money unnecessarily.
I booked the half board such meant I had breakfast and dinner included. Can I say, this was really impressive. Each night was a different theme and the amount of food was incredible.

Felt the hotel lacked some of the 5 star feels. Rooms were cleaned daily however carpets on floors were stained.

Variety of food was good but not sufficiently differing in the breakfast menu.
Especially disappointed in the buffet dinner. I had half board included but was told the dinner did not include any drinks (only water) what made it worse was they were charging 25 riyals for a coke can which was in the shopping market right outside the hotel for 2.5 riyals. For a 5 star hotel some drinks should be included and most definitely should not be more than 10 times the price of the drink from the market

Overall I would rate this hotel 4/5. Dina at the front desk was super friendly and I asked if I could do an early check in, she made this possible.
My room was gorgeous!

The location is 5 mins to a metro station on a straight road and travelling is really cheap in Doha.

The only thing I was not a fan of was the breakfast and dinner. I had half board. Both options were very poor.

Came here for 9 nights as a solo female traveller. Would 100% recommend. Felt so safe. So much security in and around the hotel. No one can get onto your floor without a card. Breakfast was nice just go before 10am. Staff were so friendly wow, didn’t expect the hospitality to be so amazing. I have already told many people about my stay and I think they will check it out if they’re ever in Doha! Great area too! Not too far from the main attractions like. Check out nandos and the cafe! Thank you soooo much guys!

I booked 4 nights and i changed the room many times because of very bad smell in the first time, for the guests noise in the second time, that was without upgradingtheroom.
A bad response to fix room telephone, also the towels was old and not clean. The iron wasn't work till they changed it, need to care for the bathrooms cleanliness.
The hotel is very dirty from out side.

I recently stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel in Doha from 21st August – 29th August 2025 and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay, and the service was excellent.

A special mention goes to Mohammed Mansoub, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He kindly arranged an early check-in for us and even upgraded our room, which made a huge difference to our overall experience. His professionalism and hospitality really stood out and set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Steigenberger Hotel in Doha for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to Doha

I decided to give this hotel another chance and my expectations were exceeded.

The service was excellent and staff were very attentive. The complimentary room upgrade with the city view was also a very nice touch.

There were very short wait time when I had made a request from the front desk and they were very accommodating towards our needs.

The hotel location is also great with it being more or less in the middle of everywhere you’d want to visit.

There’s also stores nearby which is very very convenient.

The massage and spa facilities here are amazing - my wife said it’s once of the best massages she has ever had before - she’d come to this specific hotel just for that if we visit Doha again in the future.

Overall this stay was fantastic and I would visit here again - although I may have left a neutral review during my previous stay this visit has changed my perception of this hotel and I definitely would come back here again.

Thank you to the staff and management for an amazing stay.

Quick overnight stay on a layover in the city. Check in was very efficient and we were given access to our room early.

We stayed in the Studio Suite which was so big. Beautifully decorated. Large bathroom with free standing tub. Only issue I found with the room was that their was no plug points next to the mirrors for hairdryer or straighteners.

We used the gym & pool during our stay which were really nice. Gym a little too hot however.

Breakfast was lovely. Large dining area but it was very quiet. Good mix of options.

The stay was ok however walls are paper thin and can hear other people’s business which was uncomfortable, staff at valet and front of the building before entering (security) are rude!. Complained regarding a large leak from sink and toilet and no help was issued and resulted to myself tripping and injuring my foot and neck badly. Bathroom was very out dated and looked unhygienic and dirty!!

All style no substance!
Booked this place for a few days whilst in Doha. The interior and exterior is very aesthetic however that’s where everything good ends.

Service is very poor, at check in and in general.

The breakfast is abysmal!
The buffet has very limited variety of food which is mediocre in quality at best.
The entire place is packed and so so chaotic in the morning- perfect way to ruin your morning peace.

They ask guests to make their own coffee using basic coffee machines which tastes burnt and watered down- when you ask the staff to make you a fresh coffee you’re greeted with attitude and sass, and then end up waiting about 20minutes for a decent coffee.

The service is poor, the staff have an attitude problem and are very understaffed for the number of guests. This place definitely does not deserve to be a 5 star hotel.
Would definitely avoid if you’re looking for a pleasant stay.

The hotel was comfortable especially the bed, i had very good sleep after enjoying days out. I loved the kids pool, it was shaded making it easier with chuldren and having the play area next to it. There were alot of british people who were here and it made it a good choice for families , couples and people on business. I would definitely stay here as it was value for monwy, not too far out and easily accesible.
