The hotel is packed on a weekend. Have to fight to get a machine to even gamble. The staff does a great job cleaning however it would be best if they don’t spray the table behind you while you are eating. They charge to check in early even if have clean rooms.
Overall the hotel is very nice. Nice amenities.

Check in at 4pm but your room won’t be ready for 2 hours after that. Front desk staff could care less and they will tell you your room will be ready in a “few minutes” but reality is it’s going to be a few hours. Also we were told by the front desk that we got a $40 credit for the inconvenience but that was never actually added to our room, so we spent the $40 thinking we had credit but turns out that was also a complete lie from the front desk staff. I understand this place is busy but don’t lie to your customers.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and overall comfortable. The bathrooms have double sinks and a nice standup shower. The chairs in the sitting area are nice to have but not too comfortable, however didn't spend too much time sitting in them therefore ok.
The elevators took some getting used to and to figure out, and without any instructions at check in, it took some time to figure out, but afterwards worked fine.
The bed was comfortable with nice linens.
Loved the pool. hot tubs and firepits on the 23rd floor. Took advantage of the adult only time to swim laps before 10 am. Would have liked to have spent more time by the outdoor fire pits in the evening. Nice relaxing area.
Only a four, ratter than a five, as there are reading lights on the side of bed and one would not turn off and was broken. Rather than sleep with a spot light on all night we solved by turning off the master light switch by the door which left us with no lights in the room and bathroom for the entire night. A bit frustrating. Noted at check out but person said, oh, well, sorry. Hopefully it will get fixed for the next guest. Attitude of the person wasn't great.
Otherwise, overall stay was nice. Would stay again.

I attempted to check in at 3:54pm, 6 minutes before the 4pm check in time. The front desk employee said it would cost $35. The room thermostat was not working properly and they offered us a fan. I liked this place the last time but this time was awful.

Accommodations were incredible except for the fact that checkout time is at 12 o’clock noon why they kill the Internet at 10 o’clock and then your cards to your doors get turned off at 10 o’clock. Had to have my card. Room key at front desk to get back to my room, had to call and ask for the Internet to be turned back on before I checked out.

Stay was great.

The last night, however, the persons in the adjoining room were noisy all night, very disturbing. Hotel management said they would've looked in to it.

Besides that, great stay, I would not hesitate to recommend.

The monarch was a fun place to stay. The in-suite spa tub was amazing. The drain didn't work so we had to have someone come fix it but was great after! The only issue we had was a late check-in. Check-in is at 4 and they didn't have our room ready until almost 5pm. But we did have access to the concierge lounge where we were able to wait for our room and enjoy complimentary snacks.

Our first room was under the Concierge Lounge and noise carried through the floor from 6am to about 8pm. When we changed rooms, the carpet in the new room was soaking wet. The pool was also heavily treated causing some skin and eye irritation. Other than that, we did enjoy our time there and found the staff to be great at every turn, from the front desk to the pool, spa, chophouse, casino, and buffet.
