I like the area. I like the river in the mountain behind us. The hotel needs a lot of updating the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant.He was fine. Pillows were horrible.
Makes you wonder what went on there with all the patchwork on the doors. Just alittle creepy. Yes, it was clean, loved the area.

Great location for staying in a central spot to hit a few different slopes. Food, rentals, gas, all nearby and right off I-70! Helpful staff, clean rooms, easy parking. The coffee maker didn’t work so that was a bummer.

This place is a dump! Broken moldy couch on upstairs walkway should have been first clue Nasty toilet, worthless small flat pillows, hvac had to be unplugged to turn off, sliding door screen lock torn, worn out couch I wouldn’t sit on! Only redeeming quality to this place is the creek and balcony. Couldnt wait to get some sleep and get out!

What a lovely view, with the river as a backdrop! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and perfect the hotel was. I was too tired to drive all the way back from the mountains to town, and this spot was a super price, and met all my needs. Check in was easy and the staff was absolutely delightful.

Please was economical but they said it was remodeled which was still poor. Wall paper was patch up, cracked tile in restroom, soaps were cheap, only one trash can, had to ask for towels & toilet paper. Other than that, it’s worth the price. Everything in Georgetown was extremely expensive a night.

Everything was great until my trip got cut short. Since I wasn’t able to give 24 hours notice, they would not refund the night that I didn’t stay. They did, however, offer a discount (did not say how much) for my next stay. I did ask for a credit which they would not offer. All that being said, I would def stay again. It’s a fair price, great location and nice property

The room had not been maintained in years. While the bed is fine and the nightstands and dresser are attractive, there are lots of problems. There is mold all around the ceiling in the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom does not work so we had to open the outside door and turn on the room air to ventilate. The gas fireplace works but is so filthy that it absolutely stinks when burning. There are big strips of adhesive - 1\" X 6\" - in the middle of the bathroom mirror and a big, black chip in the sink. There is no sink stopper or cap on the faucet. Anywhere that used to have something hanging still has the holes and/or keepers in the walls. The wallpaper on the bedroom side of the shower is falling off probably due to wetness from the shower. The sliding door to the outside is extremely difficult to open because the wheels are bad. There are decorations above the fireplace that used to be attractive but they're so dirty that they're gross. The entry door turns green when swiping the keycard but doesn't always unlock. By the time we checked out, it didn't open from the outside at all. The facility allows dogs so we had large amounts of dog feces outside both doors of the room. I complained about that but nothing was done.
We will never go back to Argo Inn and Suites and I am trying to get money back!!

Amazing view from the balcony. Perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The creek with the mountain made for a breathtaking view. The room was nicely, updated and clean. Some signs of age around the hotel but overall highly recommend. If you came to this town for peace and tranquility, this is the place to stay.. Good size parking lot had room to park our truck and 18 foot trailer.

The heater was extremely noisy, no soap in the soap dispenser, sheets were all prickly aka piling and need to be discarded, felt like there was mold or something that made us cough all night. Coffee in the morning was extremely bitter, door had to be slammed to lock, just to name a few
This hotel should not rent out the room we stayed in.

I did like the patio area. But our patio door was hard to open and the screen was bent. The room looked dingy, dirty and outdated. The shower, i wouldn't use. Looked to dirty. The man who checked us in was nice, friendly. The hotel overall
just needs a good cleaning first and foremost. Updating isn't an issue for me. The power was out so we had no lights, no tv, no microwave no fridge. Nothing. We had to cut our trip short and leave early that morning since we couldn't shower and had no power, etc. Just not a good experience for us.

It was ok. Shower curtain had mold. Tried to use the propane fireplace, but it hadn’t been cleaned in a while and the smell of burning dust was pretty bad. One of the sliding doors was off its tracks.
There was nothing seriously wrong, the whole place just needs a good cleaning and some minor repairs

The river right behind the room was lovely. However, the room its self was just okay. A little dingy and outdated. The bathroom door was a pain to open and close and there was a very obvious gap around the front door.Our cable went out and when we called to the front they told us there was nothing they could do. For being in a small mountain town i suppose it could have been worse. Probably would not want to stay there again

the room is clean mostly - some buggies, a few older stains on metal/fans. the light on the balcony inoperable, hanging broken. wallpaper is peeling in places. the tiles in the bath area sparkled - they were so clean. the bedding was fresh and spotless. as were the towels and shower. the layout of the room is overall great - it’s cute. the fridge worked, the heat worked, the desk and the dresser were clean and nice. i actually like that the dresser drawers are real wood - not particle board. i happen to like older, whole wood pieces. they’re better made. so a mixed bag. fix the balcony light. i would remove it and put up string or rope lights. a coat of paint on the balcony. tear out the peeling wallpaper, fix a couple wall dents and then paint. keep it clean like you already do and voila - add another star. the staff is great and i really did enjoy my stay. thank you!

The photos are old and no longer relevant to the actual state of repair needed. Just look at the photos - one has gas at $249 a gallon. Room smelled of cigarettes and screws sticking out of bathroom threshold. Staff is very nice. Sorry but I have to be honest.

The room we stayed in for a week fit our needs. But wall paper in the bathroom was peeling. Why use wall paper in a bathroom? Sink was too low with a partially clogged drain. We had to have the door entry card reinstated three times during our 7 day stay.
