Property was nice and staff friendly except at the restaurant. Restaurant staff were not accommodating to guest requests so I only went once with colleagues. I do not recommend the restaurant due to no desire to accommodate guest special requests and very limited menu.

Wonderful fireplace in my room and enjoyed being able to use that daily.

Fantastic room, we had a studio which had a very large living room/kitchen and separate bedroom. It was perfect for our small family's needs. Really good breakfast each morning also. The laundry room is free once you reserve a slot which I've never seen in a hotel before, you just have to pay for the detergent. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Lund city centre but the distance was worth it for the hotel amenities.

The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Front desk was helpful and friendly! Unlike other hotels that have the laundry icon and only provide dry-cleaning services, this hotel actually had a nice self-service laundry room. We walked to the astrological clock, and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that goes to the Lund C train station.

Loved Lund. Delightful town to visit. Accommodation was good with comfortable bed and in a terrific location.The only gliche was that I didn’t receive the message about what to do if arriving later. Reception shuts early on the weekend (4pm). Thankfully with the advice of another latecomer it was quickly sorted.

An imaginative transformation of an old engine shed into a modern hotel and restaurant that is a delight. About a km from the station and readily accessible by car. A very comfortable, quiet room that was really a small apartment with kitchen facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay without qualification.

This is a really lovely hotel hidden away from the centre of Lund but very easily accessible by foot or taxi. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good indeed. The only thing that I have to complain about is the lack of staff on reception when we arrived - it took a while for us to find out that we should ring a number and get check in details. Also, strangely - staff found my purse that I had left in reception but failed to get it to me. If I hadn't asked the following morning about the card, they would have let me leave the hotel without it. It could so easily have been returned to me earlier before I cancelled all my cards with my bank. It caused me a great deal of inconvenience the rest of my trip to Sweden. Nothing beats a human being for communication.

Large apartment style room, beautiful bathroom and tastefully appointed. The walls could use a coat of paint and the sofa had a large tear in fabric. I don’t think it is appropriate to charge for parking when the space belongs to the hotel and the area is not in the downtown sphere. Breakfast was wonderful. Overall we were pleased with our stay.

The hotel is built from a converted (and much transformed) railroad warehouse, which gives it a unique character. The lobby, breakfast area, and guests rooms were lovely and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the center of Lund--we found that distance to be quite walkable and through pleasant neighborhoods (note that we stayed in June).

Very nice building, cosy bar and relaxing areas. Breakfast super nice. Rooms not so cosy, but very practical. we stayed with family, did not need the kitchenette. But I could really see the benefits for a longer business trip. Super location, close walking to down town and university. Easy parking outside hotel on their lot, for 100kr per day. Would stay again.

Should have been better for the price

Check-in was very impersonal. Even though we arrived at 18:00 the reception was closed. Had to call someone on a call box who buzzed us in the front door. Then we had to use a courtesy phone to call someone else who gave us info about our room key, parking, etc. Both people seemed like I was bothering them by calling. The breakfast was meager. A sign informed that it was due to the Covid situation. Maybe. But in that case the room rate should be reduced accordingly for reduced service. At the room rates, I would also expect cleaning every day, even if fresh towels and sheets are not necessary every day.

This is a beautiful hotel in a refurbished historical train depot. I loved the area, Lund is a quiet treasure that is worth spending the day exploring. Using the interstate it takes about 30nutes to get into Copenhagen. The staff were very friendly, free washer and dryer use and the breakfast was much more than the usual continental breakfast.

Good stay in the Moore Hotel Lund

The hotel is good, but it is not really a hotel since no one makes up your room and bed nor changes towels. It is supposed to use the same set of towels for a week which I find too long for it to be fungus free. If you want your towels changed, it should be paid. I do use my hotel towels always for few days due to ecological reasons but not more than 3 days in a row (showering once a days minimum on such trips). My room had an annoying bathroom vent that could not be switched off. Also the fridge was noisy and I had it switched off since I wasn't using it. The bed was comfortable and the room was very pleasant, not cold nor hot, perfect temperature. Unfortunately WiFi signal in my room was weak and I needed to sit near the room entry door to catch the internet to be able to work on the laptop. The hotel is little further from the center. On the positive side, the breakfast was top class. Overall I would recommend to stay in this hotel, especially if you are visiting for touristic reasons. It is a much better choice than worn down expensive hotels in the center of Lund.

Loved my studio apartment with the high ceilings, large windows, and kitchenette. Staff were helpful and breakfast was enjoyable. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from central Lund and roughly a 20 minute walk from the train station. I would stay here again when I am in Lund in the future.

Interesting hotel with helpful staff

The hotel is a little outside the city in what appears to be a residential area so it looks a bit out of place. Nice size room and the pull-out bed was ready made up. Limited on-site parking but expensive so we used a side-street a few hundred metres away (free until 0900 but the clever Swedish parking meters allow you to pay the night before and adjust the stay length to whatever you want in increments of 1Kr and it factors in the free cost overnight. All payable by credit card - when will the UK learn!!) It is about a 15min walk into the town centre of this very beautiful town. Full of interesting buildings, shops and restaurants, with loads of historical sites as well as a nice park. We had had a delivery of a box of goods there in advance and the staff had been very helpful in receiving that, though in the end we collected it from the nearby supermarket). Fire alarm in the middle of the night was a bit of a distraction and it would have been nice to have had something said about it on checking out. Overall a good place to stay in a lovely town well worth visiting.

We enjoyed our stay at The More Hotel..The room was nice. We stayed 3 nights and there was no cleaning service while we were there. We had to go get soap for the dispensers in the bathroom. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. The location was great. We would stay here again.

This is the place to stay in Lund.

What a wonderful hotel! It's new and very stylish, and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing--tasty and very gourmet. Next time we stay in Lund I plan on booking here. (And with a kitchenette, we may end up doing a little \"dinner in\" which is a luxury really on a long trip). Really fantastic!

Spotlessly clean, welcoming, friendly hotel

Clean, comfortable hotel with a lovely welcome and friendly staff, combined with your own privacy too. Rooms are large, quiet, and private, with a great kitchen. One small suggestion - a little more storage for clothes and belongings would be useful. The staff were great for our whole week-long stay. Breakfast was very nice. Restaurant open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday. We dined only once, as very pricey by English standards (as is everything in Sweden), but the experience was glorious with gorgeous local food. I'm already saving for a return visit!

We are actually quite satisfied with the rest of the hotel and its services, ie the restaurant, the wifi, room amenities and the morning breakfast.
HOWEVER, We do have a huge problem with the receptionist lady who apparently have received no education for being a host (hospitality management is zero), her manner is rude, her tone of voice is provocative. She can let herself speaking loud and clear in the kitchen area with her colleague in the morning while everyone else can hear them clearly in the breakfast room, and she also let her long hair without proper tied up drooped in the kitchen... where is the hygiene ?

charming, quiet, well-run - and reasonably priced - a rather fine brick-built locomotive shed turned into an unconventional but very tastefully designed small hotel. Walking distance to the centre of the city, easy to return to in the winter and pleasant to stay in in the summer - evening drinks on a terrace.

Really enjoyed the welcome at reception and the breakfast.

Unfortunately the wifi was rather unreliable (had to rely on using my phone data) and the fire alarm went off at 10pm - seemed that someone burnt something while cooking. So all the guests were outside for about 30min- out of the hotels control but it was annoying all the same.

It's a 20mim walk from central station, neighborhood is mainly just apartments, about a 10min walk to food places.

We enjoyed our stay at the More Hotel and would stay again but we did note 2 potential shortcomings ...1. We would need the air conditioning that we were provided due to the heat from the sun (our room was fine with the a/c provided but the option to open a window would have been nice and some rooms don't have a/c) and 2. After the front desk closed at 8pm, it got very very loud due to a group of young people staring there....it is largely a business crowd but a front desk contact for late night issues s/b provided...we did not complain...these are more \"for your info\" tips. Oh, breakfast was very good and the lunch offering is highly recommended!

This hotel is a nicely renovated old train station that has interesting suites, suitable for short or longer stays. Our studio was large, bright, modern and comfortable for a family of four for 2 nights. Breakfast was modest but sufficient and good, in a nice room. Decent gym, whirlpool and sauna. Cheap bike rental. Good value for money and well located for our purposes.

Stay at The More Hotel, Lund (Summer 2015)

I was really impressed when I first got into my room as it was very spacious, clean and appeared to be more like a serviced apartment. I enjoyed the peaceful surroundings as the hotel location was not directly in town, the gym and sauna facilities were a nice touch, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I was expecting the rooms to be cleaned daily, but the hotel operates a self-cleaning policy. But I particularly liked the self-service touch as I could cook and clean when I wanted with fridge, microwave, dish-washer and cooker provided. Also included in the room were telephone, satellite TV, free wifi, ironing and cleaning materials, with great breakfast every morning. This hotel turned out to be one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed in and I would definitely stay there again when next in Lund.

Smartly decorated and renovated building (previously old engine sheds). Friendly and helpful staff at reception and breakfast.Good breakfast buffet. Well located, just by inner ring road, but only about 10 mins walk from centre. Only negative points in our stay (August 2015) were: lack of air conditioning; need to pay for parking (daily SK100 at hotel or SK50 at adjacent Q-Park).

Now one of my favourite hotels. A refurbished train station, but feels completely new. Really good quality materials. Slightly disconcerting checking in on the house phone but worked perfectly. Breakfast a bit limited. Staff were lovely. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our spacious room was well equipped with good kitchen facilties and was very clean. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Outside of breakfast time staff weren`t much in evidence but that is the type of hotel it is and staff were available if necessary. The walk into the middle of Lund took about ten minutes. I would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, easy to get to

My wife and I stayed here in June 2014. Things started off poorly when Hotels.com did not forward an important email from the hotel with a password to get into the building and retrieve our room keys to check in after hours. Staff are not present 24 hours / day so they have a lockbox with a password. The hotel emails guest with instructions on how to check in and Hotels.com does not forward that email. Fortunately another guest let us in and we used the service phone to get the password for the keys. The hotel is very nice and clean and the breakfast was very good. The only problem we had is the lack of air conditioning in the room. Our room stayed at about 28C all night long which made sleeping difficult. We were told not many hotels in the area had air conditioning though so it wasn't just this place. Overall I would stay here again as the value was very good.

The hotel is great. I stayed with some colleges for a conference and enjoyed our stay in this hotel a lot. Best: really spacious rooms and amazing breakfast. Worst: Internet was weak and non-reliable, they only clean your room once a week.

Overall, very well presented with big flexible rooms. Arrival after 8.00pm on Sunday was a bit nerve-wracking. Misread the number to ring so was initially getting no response - better lighting would help. It will be great when there's a restaurant (due soon I'm told) since it's a reasonable trek to the centre.

The breakfast buffet was exceptionally prepared, beds and room comfortable, and everything was so clean. Ease of walking or taking a bus/taxi to anywhere in town with a train station to take you back to the Copenhagen airport in comfort and safety too.

Couldn't have picked a more comfortable and relaxing hotel. Perfect choice for my 6 month old baby and I. Room was a standard suite- huge, modern, with fully equipped kitchen, lovely new cot, comfy bed, bath and rainfall shower. There is also a sauna/jacuzzi/gym centre. Fully recommend.

Nice, new hotel located close to the old town.

Brand new hotel, good price and nicely appointed. Missing soap and directions for uneducated north American visitors about how to get electricity...but this Canadian figured it out! Nice to have a kitchenette if I was staying longer and pretty close to the heart of the city. Nice to be able to rent a bike and it looked like a good breakfast was available in the morning... I just didn't have time to try it! Overall a great experience.

Håndvasken var stoppet på wc, blæseren kunne ikke slukke og sengene var meget hårde.
Morgenmaden var skuffende og kedelig.
Vi tog afsted efter en overnatning, selvom vi havde betalt for to.

Gym är alltid svårt på hotell. Fanns ett löpband som fungerade väl och en crosstrainer samt en multimaskin. Personalen är trevliga och har lätt till skratt. Frukosten var enkel men fin. Lagom för storleken på hotellet.
