I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Malmö. The reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable — I slept so well. The location couldn’t be better: right in the center of the city, close to everything. And for all that, the price was truly excellent.

We were happy that we could check into our room after our train arrived, around 10 am. It was nice that the hotel emailed our codes. The bed was comfortable and there is an elevator for luggage. You’re located right in the main square which meant it was quite noisy on a Saturday night and we were woken up frequently. There was also only one flat pillow per guest and the shower did not have hot water.

Our room was very large. We had a king sized bed and huge sitting area. It felt more like an apartment that a hotel room. It was furnished very nice. We were walking distance to wonderful shopping and the train station. They had a very nice breakfast in the morning.

Airline delayed my bag Duxiana to the rescue

First time at the Duxiana and I am very pleased with the the service and friendliness of the staff. Airline managed to delay my bag for a day. Hotel provided me with toiletry essentials whilst waiting for my bag.
I liked the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, breakfast was good with a nice choice. I left my bag to saving dragging it to the office and was asked on return whether I would like a coffee.

Great experience!

Hotel Duxiana is a truly great experience! The hotel stuff is super friendly, yet very professional. The decor is chic, but cozy, with a lot of focus on Scandinavian design. There is a lot of information and nice little touches. There is a book with suggestions about shopping and dining in the neighborhood compiled by the hotel staff, complimentary water and refreshments. Clean, warm, cozy and chic boutique hotel!

This was our favorite hotel of a long series in Sweden! The staff prepared a special vegan breakfast for us and overall went the extra mile! The room was clean and lovely and parking easy to find! We will be looking for this chain for future stays. Hopefully it will be as lovely as the Mälmo one.

Amazing stay for 1 night. Central location close to the central railway station, good restaurants and shops. Blissful sleep on a Dux bed in a large, well furnished room with a central bathtub overlooking the canal. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good.Highly recommend this hotel.

Stylish Hotel a Short Walk from the Train

My wife and I recently travel by train around southern Sweden, one of our stays was at the Hotel Duxiana in Malmo. We were pleasantly surprised by an easy 8 minute walk from the train station, and then very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and ease of check in. Our room was clean, secure and quiet. The staff was always very accessible a.nd gave very good local recommendations

Very nice boutique hotel in the center of Malmo. Very nice personnel and fantastic location. The lobby is very trendy and classy and the rooms very very clean. My room is quite small, but not small enough to be uncomfortable, but I realized looking at the map that is the smallest room they have, so the other rooms should be better. All in all I would definitely stay here again

Nice hotel close to the railway statiion

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

We had a small problem when after being upgraded to a larger room there was a smell that permeated the room from a neighbouring building but we were immediately moved to another room.
Nothing was too much for the very friendly and efficient staff/proprietor who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Lift available taking you up to spacious rooms with really comfy beds, good quality toiletries with large showers.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with chocolates and bottled water (kept in the small fridge), glasses for your own alcohol in the wardrobe.
Breakfast included in cost of room with a wide choice of cold buffet food as well as batter to make your own waffles, bread to toast, eggs and bacon.
Reception staff went out of their way to book a popular restaurant for a special occasion for us
Although there were not any tourist information leaflets available the hotel has maps of the area and indicated where the 'must see' attractions were located.
Use of a nearby gym for free upon request

Beautifully designed hotel

Duxiana is a real gem - an old building converted / restored to a hotel. Its original architectural features provide a great backdrop for some Swedish modern design classics. Anyone who appreciates great design and aesthetics will love staying here. As well as all the usual hotel creature comforts (fluffy towels, robes, slippers etc), the breakfast is absolutely amazing and will set you up for the day. The hotel is in a fantastic location, five minutes' walk from the main station and walking distance from the main touristy sites. Anyone wanting a pitstop in the middle of a day full of sightseeing will appreciate the free tea/coffee available for guests in reception. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to help you.

Gorgeous room, friendly, close to station.

I had a fantastic stay at the Duxiana. The room was lovely; with a huge, luxurious bed and very nice bathroom with gorgeous soaps and shampoos. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and all the décor was really stylish. I was staying on my own and the staff were friendly and helpful, let me eat my takeaway in the lobby and looked after my case for the day after I had checked out. I really, really recommend this hotel.

Having never been to Malmo, I had no idea what to expect, but when I saw a hotel featuring Duxiana mattresses, I had to say YES! And I couldn't believe the price. Most might be tempted to stay in one of the chains, but I'm so glad I chose this chic boutique hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, getting us an extra room, making sure the mattress was their latest model and that I had a nice view. They also booked us a last minute dinner at the best restaurant in town--Marcus Samuelson's rooftop eatery--in the last minute. As for sleep, you couldn't ask for better beds. The very essence of deep sleep. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Fabulous hotel

We stayed 2 nights in Malmø on a driving trip through Europe. We found the hotel easily and was greeted by a lovely guy who advised us where to park (after admiring our classic car!) and then proceeded to give us loads of great tips on local restaurant/bars and interesting places... a real insiders guide to the city.
The hotel is lovely and cosy, although it's still being refurbished. There was a nice note explaining why there were no wardrobes as yet and apologising for the hanging rail in the room. Everyone we spoke to was very accommodating and wanted to know if everything was ok, they seemed to genuinely care about our stay, nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was large and stylish. Although it overlooked a main road there was no traffic noise at all. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the bed was soooo comfortable!
The hotel is in a nice area and Malmø is a lovely city. There are plenty of good restaurants within easy walking distance.
We had to leave very early in the morning to catch a ferry and when we mentioned this to reception they arranged to have a take away breakfast ready for us with freshly baked croissants, coffee, orange juice and fruit. Again over and above what we expected!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Malmø and would definitely like to go back for a longer stay. The Hotel Duxiana would be our first choice of hotel.

We loved the Hotel Duxiana. The lobby and hotel are very appealing to the eye with a clean, crisp appearance. We found the room to be very comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower were great. The morning breakfast was fresh and delicious. Malmo is a beautiful city and we can not wait to return.

A central hotel, handily near the train station and the main tourist squares. Our room was small, and expensive - but maybe price was because of high demand with a big conference in the area. Minimalist Scandi decor. Hotel's public areas and our room were clean and well-kept. Bathroom had the tiniest shower cubicle I have ever used. Very helpful staff on reception and at breakfast, which was good quality.

Loved it here, happy we found it!!!

The hotel is older, but renovated beautifully. Located near the city center it is just a short walk to shops, restaurants and the train station. Our room was spotless and the bed was one of the best in a hotel I've slept in. No fridge in the room was a bit disappointing but we loved it hear regardless and will stay again if we get the chance.

Great little boutique hotel, ideal location.

Great little boutique hotel close to Lilla Torget an old square with a good selection of bars and restaurants and great old architecture. Only a 5 minute walk from the central station for those travelling in by train
Rooms were a decent size with big windows, decent sized bed if a tad short for a relatively average sized person but very comfortable. Not surprising given this has chain has been in out of a bed brand - Dux.
Style is modern but sympathetic to the old building.
Breakfast was a simple offering but something for everyone including cereals, cold meats, cheeses and cooked bacon & sausage. Excellent coffee as is usually the case in Sweden.
All in all a good option and good value for money at just over €100. Only gripe was the painfully slow wifi connection in the room.

The shower had the worst water pressure I’ve experienced in years, and the water temperature was only lukewarm. It wasn’t possible to use the rain showerhead at all—only the handheld one worked.

The reception staff was friendly, but there was confusion about my booking. A receptionist knocked on my door to ask which service I used to book the room, my name, and when I would be checking out. I don’t understand why these details couldn’t have been clarified at check-in or checkout instead.

There was also an uncomfortable incident where a maid accidentally entered my room just as I was stepping out of the shower.

On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable.

Kalla golv - inga tofflor. Smutsiga fönster. Ingen info om att det var själv check-in. Ingen info om att hotellets frukost var på helt annan lokal (då hade jag inte betalt extra för frukost utan valt egen plats). Lyhört - inga öronproppar. Trasig belysning i badrummet. Kaffemaskinen var inte preppad.
The devil is in the detail - med små medel hade man kunnat göra detta väldigt lyxigt och härligt.

Jeg hadde et kort, men veldig fint opphold på TwentySix, like ved jernbanestasjonen i et trivelig område. Hadde booket deres eneste enkeltrom (som var veldig lite!). Ettersom det ikke var plass til å sitte med pc på rommet spurte jeg om det var fellesarealer hvor jeg kunne jobbe. Det var det ikke, og da ble jeg faktisk oppgradert til et kjempestort rom med skrivebord. Veldig hyggelig personale. Rent og stilfullt rom. De oppbevarte bagasjen min for meg etter utsjekk. Kommer gjerne tilbake, men bestiller ikke det lille enkeltrommet en gang til : )

Frukost serveras på ett lokalt café/restaurang på ett par minuters avstånd. Trevligt och enkelt för mig som reste själv. Älskar man långa frukostar i bufféform så är detta inte rätt. Tydlig info ändå från hotellet att det var kontinental frukost.. men heads up om ni älskar klassisk hotellfrukost 🤗
