Business trip, good check in, was there early around 11am but room was ready. Rooms were spacious and clean, pillows not the best on the bed! Breakfast was a little sparse in the offering, no German sausage which was a surprise! Overall a good hotel, nicely located near the city centre.

Hotel is located near the centre of town, next door to tramline. Simple and basic amenities, but certainly adequate. We missed having coffee and tea making facilities in the room. We only had one pillow each and the bedding was very light. We were surprised how little parking was available on our arrival at 6 pm, it must’ve been even worse for people coming later. The downstairs parking involved in effect driving into what looked like a metal cage and was very far from comfortable to get into unless you had a very small car. We were surprised to be charged €19 for parking one night.

We did not dine in the hotel and in retrospect with lads that we did not because the piped music was very intrusive.

More of a business person’s hotel than a holiday destination

The Penta Hotel in Braunschweig is well situated with the city center just around the corner. Room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit noisy with the rumbling elevator and thin walls.
Service was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a small Gym and a Sauna free of charge.
I dined in the restaurant one evening and although it lacks a bit of atmosphere (as it‘s basically in the lobby) the quality of my steak was very good. The lobby also functions as a bar and it seems that locals as well as hotel guest use it as it was quite lively over the weekend.
Overall a nice hotel in a very good location.

Fantastic

This is our preferred hotel for this area. We have stayed here numerous times and are never disappointed. the staff are all very helpful and welcoming. Katy in particular this time was excellent. the room was a great size bright and very comfortable. fantastic shower. Breakfast is fabulous with so much choice. we ate one in the evening and that too was really good.
There is parking on sight but it is quiet tight if you have a big car. But is secure
WiFi is free but you can pay for high speed if required

All you need in Brunswick

Super lounge! Amazing to spend an hour or two in with the huge comfy sofas and chairs. Nice dining area too, very clean and spacious room. Pleasant staff, 2 minute walk to the main town. Would definitely stay again!

The Pentahotel is conveniently located, close to historic downtown and public transportation. The hotel feels very fresh and modern. The free Wi-Fi is atrocious, but can be upgraded for additional fee. Overall - I would stay here again.

Modish but Malfunctioning

The \"hotel\" could easily be mistaken for a modish rock bar, since that's what serves as the \"reception\" and the decor fits that description as well. (It's also located in a construction zone.) The room looks ok until one realizes that the \"climate control\" system simply served to increase the temperature and air flow of already very warm air on a hot day. Etc. Overall, at best a three-star hotel.

Friendliest hotel to imagine

I never stayed in a hotel like Penta Braunschweig. It is very well managed and the young staff is always cheerful and friendly. Breakfast has a super selection. I liked evEverything is perfect and one could not wish for anything better. This was my second three-day stay since last year and I shall be back next time. Thanks for the service and experience. My rating is a straight FIVE!

A very nice hotel in Braunschweig with excellent friendly staff. Clean rooms and good selection for breakfast made it perfect for me. The only downside is that you couldn't sleep with the window open as the front on the hotel is on a busy main road - A small point nonetheless.

I was in Braunschweig for business and stayed at the Pentahotel. The hotel had been renovated since I was last there and the new lobby and bar is really great. Though the hotel was a bit far to walk from the main transtation, it was only a 5 minute taxi ride. The area directly around the hotel is a bit dull, but if you walk two blocks, you're in the old city which is quite nice. I was out for a walk and ended up at a restaurant called Tandure, a 15 minute walk from the hotel, which was absolutely great. All in all, the hotel and the location was very good!

good location, good service, some negatives

The hotel is close to the inner city and other shopping (Schloss Arkaden [mall]) and the employees were pleasant. However, this hotel is pricey considering it does NOT include parking, breakfast, or internet. They claim to offer a *free* internet service, but it is literally unusable due to the slow speed. Expect to pay extra if you would like to go online. One other negative was the overwhelming cologne/deodorant spray that permeated the lobby, most likely to cover up the sewer smell. The rooms were fine though and fairly clean.

Quirky hotel in good location

Modern boutique hotel with some nice quirky touches. The young staff were all first class and very helpful. Breakfasts were good if slightly disorganised. The only problem was with parking which was very limited and tight on space. If using the metal ramps in the hotel basement carpark, take care. I saw a car damaged on parking due to the steep slope on the ramps (I think they may be adjustable). Overall a very good stay in a nice hotel.

Very limited parking space. I paid 20 euros when I checked in and drove out for dinner. When I returned, there were no parking space available. So, I had to find a parking space around hotel and finally I could park my car on the street. I would not recommend this hotel to the business travelers with car.

Personal sehr nett und engagiert- großes Kompliment-sehr herzlich. Check in Prozess an Rezeption ohne Servicegedanken- man darf sich selbst mit Hilfe zahlreicher Tablets einchecken. Wenn gerade Reisebus eintrifft und man sich (nach langem Arbeitstag) hinter 30 Gästen wartet, bis diese sich selbst durch Check In Prozess navigieren. Die Reinigung der Zimmer wird unter dem Vorwand man würde eine -nicht näher definierte Spendensumme- an ökologisches Hilfsprojekt\" spenden- obligatorisch eingespart. Wenn ich für ein Zimmer in diesem Preisumfeld, auf meine Zimmerreinigung verzichte, möchte ich das Geld lieber selbst spenden oder wissen, wie viel genau PENTA spendet. Großes Lob an sehr nettes, dynamisches Personal. Das Hotel ist in jedem Fall seit mind. 1 Jahrzehnt nicht mehr vernünftig modernisiert worden. Zimmer extrem in die Jahre gekommen. Sauberkeit gut.

Fußläufige Lage zur City und zum (peinlichen) Schloss-Nachbau, Frühstück sehr gut, Personal: beim Ein- und Auschecken prima, beim Frühstück eher „gemütlich“… Zimmer sehr groß, zur Rückseite gelegen (Kategorie „Penta Plus“), ruhig. Zimmer zur Hauptverkehrsstraße (mit Straßenbahn) dürften eher laut sein, Preis/Leistung gut.

The hotel is nicely located and within reach of the city center by foot...there are almos5 no scooters avalibale in case you want to go around the city with them... anoying to me was the change from a human checkin service to a self-check in at a tablet...the lady at the recption wa snice and supportive BUT this self checkin thing will make me not coming again as it is so useless..e.g. changing room, impossible.. book a breakfast aside original booking...you need the receptionist..so what is the benfit of this \"automatisation\"? Makes the hotel less attrractive to me!!

Das Hotel liegt sehr gut wenige Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten alles was benötigt wird. Nur beim Parkplatz gibts Punktabzug. Die einfahrt ist sehr eng und die Parkrampen im Ug sind für die meisten Pkw nicht tragfähig ...

Gut gelegenes Hotel im Münchner Innenstadtbereich.
Wenn man beim Schlafen nicht sehr empfindlich auf Lautstärke ist, sind die nach vorne raus liegenden Zimmer mit der/den nicht 100% schalldichten Fassade/Fenstern soweit gut, nur hat das Hotel sowohl auf den Zimmern als auch auf den Gängen einen ganz eigenen Geruch, der nicht immer als angenehm empfunden wurde.

Ett bra hotell, nära till centrum och gamla stan. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal, god frukost. Sköna sängar och trevligt rum. När man kommer med bil så kan infarten till hotellets parkering vara lätt att missa.
