Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, very courteous staff, but parking is very limited. We had to drive around the area for quite a while to find a space. Parking is not included as advertised. They have a very small lot which was full and double parked. City center location was noisy.

Location was good and the stay went well overall. Only thing is that attention to detail was a bit lacking. It felt like they weren’t really prepared for us to arrive to the room. The lights weren’t working properly and the shower soap that’s fixed on the wall was shut so we couldn’t get any soap out until we ourselves had to figure out how to open it. Just little things like that, but otherwise good.

Hotel was closed, had to stay in the City hotel

We booked a room in the Best Western Plus , but due to Covid 19, we had to stay in the Best Western City Hotel a few 100m down the road.
The rooms were a bit on the small side in this hotel.
My colleague ended up in a room with a single bed, even though we booked 2 twin-bed rooms. Fortunately the reception was able to move my colleague to a proper room (thanks!).
The parking there is a bit of a hassle, and the hallway was a bit smelly...
Rooms were ok, and you are really in the city center, close to all sorts of food.

Luck was on my side. A hotel within walking distance of everything, including the December 2018 Christmas Market in Braunschweig. Nice. Healthy & Environmentally-friendly as no transportation was needed.
Though, public transit (tram & bus) were frequent and available, along with sufficient taxis. Great mobility plan.

A great find!

Period style hotel on the edge of Braunscweig's Historic Center. Very pleasing to the eye as you enter, well furnished and looks inviting. My single room on the ground floor was very nicely furnished with a large bathroom, big screen TV and plenty of space. There's tea/coffee facilities, safe, products in the bathroom. My only problem was the room was in a busy location next to the lifts and rear parking lot. Fortunately it was nice and quiet at bed time. The staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good in a really nice restaurant which was tastefully decorated for the Christmas period. Residents can also use a nearby gym free of charge. I have no problem recommending this hotel. For anyone who is interested there is an excellent Christmas Market close by.

A luxury stay with fantastic value

The hotel was excellent, particularly for the very reasonable price, which included breakfast and on site car parking. The location is right in the town centre. The building is elegant with a really luxurious feel, which continued into the large and very comfortable bedroom. The breakfast room was spacious and airy and the buffet was good. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there is plenty of choice in the immediate surroundings. The only negative is that the hotel doesn’t have a lively atmosphere, perhaps it’s because it’s a former convent, the bar was empty on a Saturday night. The town itself is lively enough and has retained, or restored, many historic buildings, of which the cathedral is a particular gem.

Tolle Zimmer, tolles Frühstück!

Toll eingerichtete Zimmer, üppiges Frühstück, tolles Personal. Einzig, das Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss hinter der Rezeption am Durchgangsflur, sodass ich sehr viele Geräusche wahrnahm. Aber ansonsten ein tolles Hotel!

Die Ausstattung des Hotels und insbesondere der Zimmer bedarf dringend einer Erneuerung. Leider fehlt die Liebe zum Details und auch für die Perfektion. Teilweise sind die Einrichtungen nur notdürftig hergerichtet bzw. repariert, Reklamationen wird sich nicht umgehend angenommen. Das Hasu entspricht m.M. Nicht einem 4 Sterne Haus.

Tilläggsnamn.

Hade räknat fel på dagarna så det fick bli en extranatt. Fick behålla samma rum som önskat, slapp checka ut emellan.
Bokade med frukost för att jag skulle åka tidigt. Tycker fortfarande att frukost är överprisat på hotell. Den var ok, men jag vill inte äta så mycket så att värdet är lika med priset på café.

Hotellet har möjlighet att välja städning dagen innan, bra för miljön. Min duschkabin läckte så att hela golvet blev blött. Ett fel de borde känna till, men som inte kan fixas i brådrasket, därför påtalade jag det inte. Garde handdukar att torka med.

La gloire passée

Obwohl ein ruhiges Zimmer (Suite) zugesagt war, hatte unser Zimmer eine direkte Verbindungstuer zum Nebenzimmer. Nach Reklamation hat man uns ein Mansardenzimmer angeboten mit einigen Problemen sicher für ein sogenanntes Vier Sterne Hotel.

Schöne Unterkunft nur lag mein Zimmer an der Treppe lautes reden die halbe nacht , Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden viel Strassenlärm aber statt der ausgerechneten 230 Euro von expedia musste ich 264 Euro bezahlen, unverschämt eine erneute Buchung über expedia kommt für mich nicht mehr in Frage

Schwer enttäuscht….

Leider wurde unser Zimmer während unseres Aufenthaltes (2 Nächte) gereinigt. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, das würde nicht passieren wegen Corona. Kaum glaubhaft nach all den Lockerungen.

Zudem gab es an einem Freitagabend keine Longdrinks in der Bar (22.15h), weil es keine Eiswürfel gab.

Alles in allem KEIN 4 Sterne Haus, schade!

Perfekt lokalisering af hotellet, praktisk talt midt i Braunschweig. Men værelset var meget koldt, ville have været godt om de havde sat varmen på inden vi kom, da det tog noget før der var varme efter vi havde tændt radiatorerne.

Very nice hotel in the city centre

The room we had was very spacious, unfortunately not perfectly clean though. Whereas the hotel is ideally located for a city trip, there are no bathroom amenities offered except for soap. The breakfast is okay, not very up to date though, as gluten free and dairy free options were missing. The staff was very friendly.

Hotellet fortjener ikke 4 stjerner. Det er slitent, og mangler forventet komfort. Toalettet brukte flere minutter på å fylles opp etter skylling, og det var kun håndklær til en person. Ikke problem å få flere, men det skal ikke være nødvendig å be om det. Det var ikke kjøleskap på rommet. Betjeningen var hyggelig, ikke noe å si på det, men vi forventer mer til den prisen

Sehr glücklich waren wir, dass wir brreits Mittag aufs Zimmer konnten. Der Empfang sehr nett. Das Zimmer eher älter jnd klein, aber zum ruhigen Hinterhof, was unser Wunsch war. Alles sehr sauber, das Bad wirkte relativ neu, leider ist die Duschwanne undicht jnd wir haben eine Überschwemmung im Zimmer nur jnter Einsatz von 2 Handtüchern verhindern können. Wir waren nur eine Nacht, daher kein Problem. Das Frühstück gut und vielseitig. Die Lage jnschlagbar jnd daveir früh davwaren haben wir auch einen Parkplatz am Haus bekommen

Die Unterkunft, hat eine sehr gute Lage. Die Innenstadt ist direkt vor der Tür, und somit nur wenige Minuten von Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants entfernt. In der Unterkunft selber, ist alles sehr Modern und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war Sauber, und unbeschädigt. Das einzige Manko war, das dass Bad nach dem Duschen leicht überschwemmt war, da die Duschtür wohl nicht dicht war. Ein großen Pluspunkt, gibt es für das Frühstück dessen Auswahl wirklich sehr groß und reichlich ist, da für jeden was dabei ist. Einen weiteren hat das Hotel wirklich Nette und Engagiertes Personal. Wirklich weiter zu empfehlen!

Das Gebäude an sich sowie das Personal waren klasse! Auch das Frühstück sah jeden Morgen sehr appetitlich aus. Die Lage könnte besser nicht sein, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Bus und Straßenbahn erreicht man binnen weniger Minuten. Nicht ganz optimal war, dass am Abreisetag das Reinigungspersonal bereits 3 Stunden vor Auschecken in regelmäßigen, kurzen Abständen klopfte und in das Zimmer wollte. Das Partner-Fitnessstudio ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Service top, Zimmer eher nicht

Toilettenspülung war sehr langsam. Hatten auch bescheid gegeben aber an dem Tag konnte nichts mehr repariert werden. Da wir nur eine Nacht dort waren haben wir aber auf den Zimmertausch verzichtet. Leider war das Zimmer auch schon sehr alt und hätte eine Renovierung nötig. Waren etwas enttäuscht, da die Bilder im Internet renovierte Zimmer vermuten ließen.
Service hingegen war top und das Frühstück war ein Traum.

Tadelloses Haus, mitten Im Zentrum der Stadt

Ich komme in unregelmäßigen Abständen, bin immer wieder begeistert vom Service, der Ruhe - obwohl mitten in der Stadt. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, variantenreiches Frühstück, freundlicher Service. Werde versuchen immer wieder dort zu buchen.
