Hotel muy correcto en todo, limpieza, atención del personal, etc, y en una ubicación excelente. No sabía que era pet-friendly, procuro evitar este tipo de establecimientos porque soy alérgico pero realmente no se notó. Realmente creo que no había huéspedes con mascotas. En definitiva, buena experiencia en este hotel.

The room was TINY. Looked absolutely nothing like the photos at all (at the front desk they admitted those photos were simply illustrative and not of the rooms themselves - VERY misleading). There weren’t two twin beds or one double bed like the reservation said; it was a tiny room with ONE TWIN BED. A tough ask for an adult who thought she was checking into a room with a decent sized bed. Having said that, it’s clean and centrally located and everyone was nice. Just know you’re paying for a glorified hostel.

Opposite one of the locals' favourite restaurants Pizzarte and well located to explore Aveiro on foot although parking available is secure.

Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay
Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute.

Wifi issues, other than that, good

We had an easy Check-In, but we had trouble with the wifi in our room. The front desk showed us how to log in, but when we went back to the room it didn’t work again. Had to call hotels.com because apparently the wifi wasn’t working at all in our sector and they hotel said we couldn’t switch until the following day. After hotels.com’s intervention, they were able to find a room.

The breakfast was wonderful, plentiful, varied and had excellent service.

We paid 110 euros for one night.
Positives: The reception staff were lovely and helpful. Parking on site was secure.
Negatives: The room smelt fusty, was old and tired. We had a fridge in the room that was dirty. There was no mini-bar. There were no tea or coffee making facilities. The bed had a mattress protector on it and was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was terrible. We are vegan and had a slice of toast with jam. The quality of the food offered was bad - fruit was not fresh. The orange juice was cordial. The coffee terrible.
Overall: a very expensive hotel for what we experienced. I expected a lot more for the price of one night.
Will not return.

Terrible hotel.. Bed bugs were on the bed.. AC was not working and the shower was leaking water all over the toilet.. After taking the shower the water was flooded all over the place like a pool..
When we informed the front desk about the issue in the morning nothing was done and we weren't compensated all we got was \"we're sorry about that\" I was very disappointed as we deserved at least a compensation for the terrible night we spent!!

The lobby was lovely and they were nice at the front desk but the room was not even 1 star. There were stains on the carpets, chips on the furniture. The towels in our bathroom were stained. We paid $180 USD and it was way overpriced.

The pictures on Expedia do not represent the hotel well, in my opinion. Expedia presents a modern, upscale hotel. The room we got, #116, was nothing like any of the rooms in the photos - the furniture and bathroom shower was dated, the push board ceilings were moldy, and the lighting was not great either. I also found the AC did not work, it would come on at first to reach my desired temp but then not come back on again throughout the night to maintain the room temp. The price does not match the hotel. I have spent much less in Europe (including Portugal) and had a much better experience.

Road work when I stayed

Road work around the hotel when I stayed. The hotel is 3 (long blocks) to Jardim do Rossio, and most restaurants. Walls of cement makes it easier for sound to travel, I could hear the next door guest snore.

Stayed in Aveiro for a conference at the University, this hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff and a very nice continental breakfast. Very handy location for the train station and plenty of shops and amenities within walking distance.

O Hotel tem boas condições e é bastante agradável. Numa zona residencial calma, e bem perto do centro, deu para ir a pé e descobrir Aveiro sem pegar no carro.

Experiência incrível, melhor q imaginava. Ótimo café da manhã, roupas de camas macias e puro algodão, banheiro surpreende de novo e bom. Quarto de 3 camas de solteiro super espaço. Foi uma reserva muito em cima da hora e foi a opção q me veio com o melhor custo benefício. E foi maravilhoso! Surpreendeu - me. Super recomendo e a 10 minutos caminhando ao centrinho de Aveiro. Só tenho a agradecer pela escolha. Podem reservar tranquilamente:))
