Wonderful hotel! Loved the staff! A lot of attention to detail...Great colonial hotel. Even had a pianist on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Restaurant on site, close to everything, great location overlooking the Dos Templos Plaza. Very safe with 24-hour desk/lobby coverage! The only thing was, we learned the last evening, we should've been running the shower much longer for a hotter shower, since we don't like to waste water at home LOL :) Thank you so much for everything...We had a wonderful time at Hotel Santiago de Campostella and in Guadalajara!

Excellent location, clean rooms and staffs are friendly and welcoming.
Decently quiet if you’re at the back of the building. Unfortunately when we were visiting the city they had pretty bad water issues, the water smells likes sulphur. And the pool on the roof top looks a bit green, they tried to clean it but we were there for 5 days, it looks the same green. We didn’t dare to swim. There were no coffee machines nor cups in rooms.
Overall it was a decent stay. Love the city of Guadalajara!

Most excellent stay with great staff, a delicious restaurant and beautiful colonial design. The room was situated in front of a church. Had beautiful high ceilings and a great view. Staff was AMAZING!! Hotel is cute, clean but we had a lot of trouble with our remotes. The air conditioner wasn’t cool. We did mention it the remotes were switched but same problem. Luckily the weather was cool so it didn’t really feel too hot.

First, for that price one should not be too picky. The fan in the bathroom/toilet was making so much noise that we could not use it without waking up the other person in the room. It really was a nuisance. Loved the pool area but there was a lot of litter there. Very friendly staff.

The location was ideal, the place has a very rustic feel. Nice experience overall, had an issue w a rude cleaning lady but the manager was attentive and helpful, so I felt much better at the end of my stay. They have luggage storage which comes in handy when you have a late flight home. Would totally stay again.

Staff at the entrance and reception always greeted and available for questions. Arranged early morning taxi to the airport. Room clean and comfortable. Overall a great choice for the price.

You get what you pay for. Old property with extra hard beds. Old scratchy towels. Room key had to be reprogrammed every day we were there that was so annoying. Breakfast buffet was overpriced and lacked flavor. Better off going to a cafe down the street. Location is a bit of a walk to the cathedral. Check in was not the greatest as the hotel reached out to confirm our arrival time and stated the room would be ready. It was not had to wait an hour to get our room. Rooms were clean. Linens were just as old as the property. AC worked very well that was a plus. Really just slept and took off as early as we could and returned late just to sleep so not sure what the property was like during the day. Again you get what you pay for so if just needing to sleep it works but if looking for amenities or nightlife pay a little extra and book at the Doubletree down the street at least it is the same square as the cathedral and attached to Liverpool with plenty of good food choices just outside the property.
