We had a 1bedroom premium apartment and it was lovely and close to the beach and pool, which was exactly what we wanted. There’s a small grocery store on site with reasonable prices. The restaurants are really not very good, though, so if you are looking for dinner, you really should leave the property!

When a property advertises itself to appear to be a resort with spa services and you arrive and find out it’s a glorified campground and they put you in an apartment block style instead of a room with a balcony, there should be repercussions. Instead, we left a day early because we were so disappointed and we’re not not able to get our money back even though they falsely presented themselves. That being said if I was pulling up with my tent in a campground in the camping area I would’ve been OK. The service and the people who worked there are very nice, but the whole property were complete disappointment. The apartment we stayed in was dated, and I felt like I was in an old tired Bubuilding.

We loved our stay here! Was a great stop while visiting Rovinj. Loved being able to swim in the pool and sit by the beach and watch the sunset. We had plenty of room for two and we were sad we only booked one night!

No breakfast included.

I booked the room through Hotels.com with breakfast included. When we checked in, they said we had to pay 15 Euro each. I complained to manager with no avail. He offered me two postcards as a token of their sympathy, but no free breakfast. I feel cheated.

The place is far from the center of Rovinj. Had we got our breakfast included, I would taye the place higher.

Brilliant stay at the Amarin. Two adults and two teens, there was heaps to do and keep us all occupied. Evening entertainment was good, bar prices reasonable.
Housekeeping was regular, with towels and sheets being changed every other day.

Good place to stay! The apartment was clean and comfortable (except that the AC wasn't working well and a giant centipede fell on me while I was getting ready, but otherwise it was great!). Room was big as well, so it was easy to feel at home. The resort itself had a lot going on, and the staff were great. My only issue is that the resort is HUGE, and it was very hard to find my way around. I felt like I was always walking uphill and always in the wrong direction. It's also about 15 minutes out of the city.

Horrible. The staff gave us the wrong room number on the map compared to the key. When we finally opened the door the bed only had a sub-sheet on it which was soaked in blood in a wadded up pile. Made me sick to look at it. Went back and showed staff he wrote down the wrong room number compared to the key number. He gave me a new pair of keys and threw them on the counter. Never even apologized. Many spiders were in the room which kept my wife up all night in fear. Worst place ever. No soap or shampoo anywhere.

Property is located near the Adriatic sea and we got a 2 bedroom apartment in 2 level home with 2 large terraces. Both bedrooms and living room was quite good, just bathroom could be a bit larger and especially shower cabin that is very small and inconvenient. As well accommodation owners should think about improvement of cleanness, as during our 5 nights stay it was cleaned just once after calling to the reception. Just floors have been cleaned, but no beds changed or made-up.
The big advantage of this accommodation is private beach and few pools with the view to the sea and Rovinj.

Unique property geared towards family. My 3 kids 10 and twin 16 years enjoyed the pools, water activities, breakfast. The pool area needs to be addressed since it was very slippery (we all fell). The rooms were basic but clean, good AC, showers and deck. It was next to or part of a camp ground which was filled with families. Just a short ride to Rovinj. Would stay here again next time for a couple days. Loved Rovinj!

This property is stunning and absolutely beautiful!! Downsides are terrible beds, I couldn’t sleep for two nights. Also the extra charges I was unprepared for like the rental of lawn chairs and umbrellas. Would have been nice to have the option to pay for those upfront in the cost of my stay. Also, the days I was only at the pool for 2 hours in the afternoon I would have loved to not have to rent the chairs for the entire day.

What's not to love?

We rode our bicycles all day to get there and the staff must have seen our level of distress. They upgraded us without being asked. So generous and thoughtful of them. The views from our balcony were stupendous. The complex was quiet and lovely. We hated to leave and would consider spending an extended time at this terrific little gem of a resort I've included a pic of the view from our patio.

Good location - close to Rovinj (reachable by water taxi in 15 mins) & the resort offers lots of excursions / water sports / activities etc.
Apartments very spacious & larger than expected.
Restaurants were ok - however, extremely limited choice for vegetarians. Staff generally good, but couldn't provide that much info about activities on offer which is a shame! Expected slightly more luxury in the room for a 4 star accommodation.

We had a very nice stay with an excellent dinner served by two lovely women, one of them was called liliana. Breakfast buffet was very good and abundant. We were 2 couples who rented 1 apartment each. They were ok for the price. I think the place is great for families. Lots of things to do. Right on the beach with several pools. Also good for a younger crowd. It’s a bit run down. It’s located outside Rovinj and you can take a nice boat ride across. Overall we had a very nice stay.

The particular room we stayed in was nice. It had everything you needed. In my personal opinion, the rooms could use some cosmetic updates, but seeing as where you are, you spend most time outside anyways - and it is a beautiful beach front location. There were many teens and kids hanging out (I think they put on summer camps for them) so it was nice to see everyone out and active. The breakfast was spectacular! It was truly one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had staying at a resort. Do take the ferry boat to the mainland of Rovinj as well, just make sure you take a look at the schedule. One last thing, the sunrise and set set is absolutely stunning.

Wonderful welcome to Croatia.

Resort Amarin and Rovinj were a great introduction to Croatia. The facilities were excellent and breakfast amazing. We were late season, so almost no campers and few residents. It may be different in summer. We rented mountain bikes, they were delivered to the property, and picked up from our car rental after a beautiful and fun 4-5 hour ride through the city, and along the coastal park.

We spent three weeks in Various lodging through Croatia and Venice, Amarin was at the top. Very clean ,quite and roomy. Excellent facilities. The buffet was exceptional with some of the best coffee we had in Europe.
This location good for family or not. We were childless and very much enjoyed it. We also stated in the center of town our last few nights in a very nice , very well located apartment but wished we had stayed at The Amarin in hind sight .

Not what we expected!!

Be careful when booking at this resort. If you are a family of four, and are lucky enough to get into one of the new buildings you will be happy with your stay, as seen by some of the reviews that we read prior to booking. If you are only two, you will be put in a building that was built maybe in the 1960's. The room comes with old mis-aligned cupboards, cracked ugly furniture, chipped and mildewy bathroom tiles and an exposed kitchen exhaust duct. The room was awful! This is not a 4 star hotel. It would be generous to give it 3 stars. Also- don't believe the free internet. Internet service didn't work at all in our room. We were told at checkout that coverage on the resort is generally poor. All on all, This was not a pleasant experience!!

Great spot for a resort hotel

Stayed here after a week of travel through Croatia and really appreciated the relaxing resort feel. We spent a day chilling between the pool and beach which offered views of Rovinj's old town. Just what the doctor ordered. The room really set the tone as it was spacious, newer and included a large patio.

Resort Amarin was a very pleasant place to stay. The unit was modern, spacious and clean. The walk to the beach and hotel bar and restaurant was short. The hotel breakfast buffet was fabulous. The resort is a couple of miles away from the Rovinj center, so you have to take a bus or boat to go to town. One thing we noticed about all the Croatian beach resorts is that they don't provide beach towels to guests - so either bring your towel or count on buying one in Croatia

Nice and good location, but bad management

Location was good, but we had several issues during our stay: errors in our booking (we booked a double and a triple room but the latter was not available when we arrived); a bird got trapped inside an air duct of the double room and it took the staff more than a day (and repeated complaints) to solve the issue; the triple room was plagued by ants; we found a dead bird at the front of the room one day. Breakfast was good, but they never changed the menu in the 5 days we were there (omelette, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages, bacon, breads, cold cuts, fruit, cheese, pancakes, pastries, croissants, salad, orange juice, multi-fruit juice and apple juice). For some reason, the pools' water felt salty as if it had been taken straight from the ocean. The beach is nice, but full of rocks (bring appropriate footwear to avoid injuries to your feet) which can be slippery. Not too many options for food, but fortunately the resort is a short drive to Rovinj, where there are plenty of restaurants. Finally, we had a billing error upon check-out and the person in charge was more concerned about leaving at the end of her shift than solving the problem (at some point she just went away and was about to rush out the door, but we stopped her); in the end the issue was solved, but not without a big argument at the reception. There is free wifi but coverage is patchy.

We had apartment #17 in the yellow group - it was said to be an upgraded apartment - I think everyone was getting an upgraded apartment from what I heard. I actually thought we were staying in a hotel, so to have an apartment was a \"Plus\". Comfortable bed, TV in both the bedroom and living room, great patio at our entry way, clean bathroom and well appointed kitchen - great! The only downsides were these: (1) they did not explain that we had a parking spot (which we parked in but when we left for the day, it was taken when we returned, so we had to find another, still not sure if it was a dedicated space to our apartment - would make sense that it was - it was numbered and colored for our apartment); and (2) there was no internet available at our apartment - I was told that we had to access the internet at the reception area (which many people were doing) if we wanted the internet. I chose to wait until our next stop on our trip - which had free internet from our room. Great breakfast included in our package. Loved walking on the pebbly beach and watching the waves, and there was a trail that we walked one day. We ate at one of the restaurants, and it was very good.

A relaxing resort not to miss

The hotel room was inside of a big resort place next to the beach. It was a house rather than a room. The room was equipped with all the necessary utensils and fridge, etc. It has its own garden and a space to dry your clothes. But you had to walk a good distance to go to the main restaurant or to a supermarket located within the resort. They showed the night performance for free. I think you should stay there minimum 3 nights to experience the resort offers.

Overall experience was great as facilities such as on site restaurants / pool and beach were fantastic. Great boat service into Rovinj for only 30kn.

Well as other reviews have said, the hotel does try to nickel and dime you if they can, however, their prices are very reasonable and they are located with a beautiful view of Rovinj. The boat ride (extra $) to Rovinj was a plus. Careful in you walk along the shore away from Rovinj as naturists (Nudists) are prevalent in that area. We also walked from the Hotel to Rovinj (30-40 minutes, but not hard). The room was nice (we stayed in the older, not remodeled rooms). The new rooms seemed nicer, but ours was nice because it had a front Porch. Our only complaint would be that the rooms apartments are pretty close together so if you have rowdy neighbors you may be disturbed. When we went the Resort was completely booked, but its campus is so large, you never felt crowded. I would stay here again.

New, fresh and everything you need

We were four families that booked our stay at Amarin separately - at separat times. But they still placed us in appartments that were located close to eachother, so it was really easy to visit eachother :-) The appartments were brand new and had what we needed for our stay. The only thing that we noted as a bit negative was that the fan in the bathroom was quite loud, and there was no way to turn it off as it was connected to the light. The view of Rovinj across the bay is beautiful! Definitely a place to concider!

Affordable with nice amenities; weekdays are best.

The hotel and restaurant staff are contracted and not necessarily customer-oriented. Difficulty with language at check-in was also a minor barrier as they appeared unsure of how to handle Expedia bookings, specifically. However, the amenities are nice and it's a very affordable location next to a great town. Water sports galore are available as well as camping and traditional lodging in nice, clean apartments and rooms. The saltwater pool and sunbathing area were magnificent and loads of fun, although there is a small rental fee for the chairs. The on-site restaurant appeared to change service options based upon the number of guests on site at any given day, so weekday visits are the best.

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage im Resort verbracht, wurden herzlich empfangen und alles gut erklärt wo wir was finden. Unser Appartment war riesig und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Leider hat die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer nicht richtig funktioniert. Das war aber schon das einzige.
Die Anlage an sich hat sehr viel zu bieten, über Kids-, Junior- und Teenclub für die Kinder, als auch Aktivitäten für die Erwachsenen. Besonders gut hat uns die abendliche Livemusik gefallen.
Wir würden wieder kommen.

Tolle Unterkunft für Familien. Bietet alles was man im Urlaub mit Kindern braucht. Pool, Strand, alle wasseraktivitäten, die man sich vorstellen kann. Tennisplatz, Basketball-/fußball-/Handball-Platz, super schöne Spielplätze für die Kinder. Einfach toll. Einzig das Restaurant am Pool ist sehr überteuert und die Qualität Tagesabhängig.

팸핑존과 리조트를 잘 구분해서 가야해요

숙소의 청결상태는 중정도이고 숙소를 찾기가 조금어려웠어요. 마에스트라가 캠핑장도 붙어 있어 리조트는 안으로 더 들어가야하고 방을 두개예약했는데 인원이 줄자 처음엔 한개의 객실만 주고 엑스토라베드를 설치해 주어 당혹스러웠는데 추후에 다시 객실을 추가 해주어 불편함을 덜었어요. 주차장에서 객실까지 짐을 옮기가 불편했어요. 수영장과 조식은 매우 훌륭했어요

Wir hatten ein Premium-Apartment mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern. Es war sehr schön und großzügig geschnitten, mit großem Balkon. Sehr sauber, alles da, was man brauchte. Regelmäßig wurde gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Anlage ist toll für Kinder, viel Programm und Abwechslung, zwei große Pools. Personal war immer freundlich. Zusatzangebote, die nicht inklusive sind, sind eher teuer.

Mooi en goed onderhouden vakantiepark. Prachtige ligging met zicht op Rovinje. Taxiboot naar het stadje is ook gemakkelijk. Het appartement was in orde, niet echt speciaal en het zetelbed ligt niet zo goed. Ruim genoeg voor met 3 personen. Goede badkamer, keukentje iets minder, is heel donker en niet echt geschikt om regelmatig in te koken. We gingen dan ook meestal uit eten. Gingen een paar keer naar het ontbijtbuffet en dit was wel in orde, veel variatie en aanbod. Aangenaam terras bij het appartement, maar wij persoonlijk hadden liever een appartement boven gehad ipv beneden. Toch iets meer zicht. Er is vanalles te doen, maar veel tegen betaling. Een glijbaan bij het zwembad zou een pluspunt zijn voor onze zoon. We hadden een aangenaam verblijf.

An der Rezeption gab es nicht immer freundliche Leute, die helfen wollten. Sogar im Pizzarestaurant gab es einen Mann namens Ohman, der nicht wusste, wie man mit Gästen spricht. Aber das schlimmste als Familienresort unübertrefflich, finde ich, dass der Aquapark Wibit kostenpflichtig war.....zu extrem teuerem Preis.
Sonst wäre es eine tolle Anlage.

Vaste resort implanté en bord de côte adriatique avec un acces direct à la mer. Tout type de chambre (ou d'emplacement de camping) est proposé. Nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassé dans une maison confortable et tres spacieuse avec un coin cuisine bien équipé.
Le stationnement est anarchique car il n'y a pas de respect du code couleur et numérotation en rapport avec le logement.
La taille du resort a néanmoins un côté \"usine à touristes\" lorsque l'on se rend le matin au petit-déjeuner.

Häuser sind sehr laut. Deshalb sollte man nicht Schulklassen mit Entspannungsuchenden Urlaubern zusammen unterbringen vor allem wenn es genügend Möglichkeiten dazu gibt. Die Bäder ( duschen) sollten dringend grungereinigt werden

Wir waren bereits vor einem Jahr hier und mussten leider feststellen, dass die Essensauswahl Abends schlechter war als beim ersten Urlsub dort. Mein Mann als Vegetarier konnte fast nur Salat, Kartoffeln und immer das gleiche Zuchini-Auberginen Gemüse essen. Zudem lange Schlangen am Büffet. In unseren zwei Apparments gab es einige Mängel. Die schwere Schiebetür des Kleiderschranks hat unsere Tochter fast verletzt, da diese beim öffnen auf sie gefallen ist. Die Haustür fiel nur ins Schloss, wenn man sie sehr stark zugehauen hat, Türgriffe von Schubladen waren zum Teil abgefallen, mehrfach viele Ameisen im Zimmer. Gartentor kaputt. Reinigung nur mittelmässig. Erst nach fast 2 Wochen wurde Bettwäsche gewechselt. Das hätte man sich kurz vor unserer Abreise dann sparen können. Man hatte den Eindruck, dass es hier keinen wirklichen Zeitplan bzw. System gibt. Die Zimmer waren nicht wirklich sauber. Toilettenpapier wurde trotz dass es leer war zum Teil nicht aufgefüllt. Man musste daraufhin bei der Rezeption anrufen. Toiletten am Pool meist dreckig und oft ohne Seife und Papier. Appartements sehr hellhörig und laut.
Die Bucht ist schön aber das Wasser war zu unserem Zeitpunkt auch ziemlich verschmutzt. Es gab auch einige braune Quallen. Manche Bedienungen waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit, leider konnte man das nicht von allen sagen. Im grossen und ganzen war der Urlaub ok mit einigen Abstrichen. Wegen dem verschmutzten Strand und Wasser werden wir vermutlich nicht nochmals dorthin geh

Secondo anno che andiamo e torniamo sempre soddisfatti, quest'anno è migliorata molto anche la cucina, molto più varia e di gusto. Pulizia buona, cambio biancheria a richiesta anche se non nei termini prefissati, camera comoda, parcheggio a due passi. Mare bello pulito con l' unica nota negativa dei troppi italiani in spiaggia che pensano di essere i padroni del resort, bisogna trovare il modo di impedire che facciano le distese di sdraio tante numerose da impedire l' accesso in acqua. Nel complesso è stato tutto piacevole, super consigliato

Nice beach and pool area. Lots of people in pool during peak season. No cleaning or change of towels during stay as stated in description. Could at least have provided new toilet paper. Kitchen very limited. As family it was good (3+ of 5). Stay away for overpriced boar to rovinj!

Wir haben zwar eine besseres Apartement bekommen und wir waren im ersten Moment glücklich darüber . Dann waren aber ein paar Dinge nicht so toll wie Ameisen im Schlafzimmer und lose Türgiffe und harte Kopfkissen auf die niemand schlafen kann.

Rendkívül jól szervezett szállás. Minden gördülékenyen ment. A saját tengerparti rész nagy előny, könnyen meg lehet közelíteni a vizet. A szállás teljes partszakaszán napozóágyakat is kihelyeztek, ami még komfortosabbá teszi a strandolást.
A reggeli és vacsora ételkínálata rendkívül bőséges, kiváló minőségű.

Der er ikke hotel på resortet

Skulle gå 10-15 min fra lejlighed til swimmingpool og der er ikke hotelfaciliteter, hvilket var overraskende, ud fra hjemmesidepræsentationen.

Hvis vi vidste ovenstående inden, ville vi ikke have valgt stedet.

Ellers udemærket lejligheder og sikkert fin campingplads.

Skuffende er nok det ord, der beskriver det bedst, og hvor de har deres 4 stjerner fra, det må guderne vide. 4 stjerner er i min optik der, hvor man får lidt ekstra, og det gør man på ingen måde. Jeg havde bestilt et dobbelt værelse/lejlighed, med queensize seng, men blev indlogeret i et lille studio med en meget lille seng og enkeltlagen, som jeg skulle del med min 16-årige søn. Positivt var dog, at de uden brok gav os en større lejlighed, men hvorfor ikke gøre det fra starten. Stedet er på ingen måde gearet til at servicere alle gæster inkluderet hele campingområdet. Der var én frokostrestaurant åben, hvilket indebar at man tit skulle vente en time eller mere på at komme til at spise. Maden på morgen- og aftenbuffeten er som sådan ret okay, men at få sine drikkevarer sammen med manden kunne være en kamp. Overordnet er servicen ikke eksisterende - til gengæld er det dyrt. Ønsker man en afslappende ferie uden at skulle kæmpe om en solstol, gøende hunde, der bliver slæbt med selv på restauranten, god service og rimelige priser, så er dette ikke stedet at tage hen.

Rozsáhlý resort s velmi pěkným a čistým ubytováním. Díky malé obsazenosti nám za stejnou cenu dali lepší ubytování. Parkování bylo hned vedle a bylo kryté, takže na auto neparlřilo sluníčko. V bungalovu byla malá kuchyňka s mikrovlnkou, sporákem, troubou, myčkou, prekapavacem na kávu a vším potřebným nádobím. Jediné, co chybělo byla rychlovarná konvice.
Pokoje dostatečně velké a postel pohodlná.
Jídlo bylo výborné a každý den se obmenovalo. K snídani bylo v ceně i pití, k večeři se pití platí.
Lehátka i slunečníky a pláži i u bazénu zdarma. Přístup do moře pozvolný, ale chce to boty do vody. Moře čisté.
V resortu je i obchod se základními potřebami.
Personál všude velmi milý.

Vi hade en superbra vistelse! Det passade oss perfekt med många aktiviteter att välja på, nära till härlig strand, bra restauranger och nära att kunna köpa mat och göra själv i lägenheten. Städningen var utmärkt och personalen mycket hjälpsamma. Hit åker vi igen👌

Llegamos a las 12. Nos dijeron que hasta las 3 o estaría la habitación por el Covid19. Nos toco comer en el resort; solo estaba abierto el restaurante de la piscina. Sucio y guarro. Pedimos al camarero que lo limpiara y limpio solo una de las dos sillas. La comida pésima. Los precios caros para lo que es.
Fuimos a las 3pm y había una cola de unas. 20 personas para el check in. Tras 1 hora de cola a las 4pm pasadas nos dicen que “hay un problema” y que la habitación no está lista porque hay algo roto. Que nos tienen que re-ubicar en otro hotel del grupo que está en la otra punta de Rovinj. Fuimos a buscar el coche y llegamos al nuevo destino a las 5pm. Aparca, ve a la habitación. Total, medio día de vacaciones perdido.
Sobre Resort Amarin: las instalaciones están compartidas con campistas (hay un camping). La piscina está llena, imposible encontrar espacio. Hay que pagar por usar las hamacas y las sombrillas del propio complejo después de haber pagado 170€ por una noche. Sucio, guarro, ruidoso, parkings abarrotados. Mejor evitar este alojamiento.
