This is my second year in a row staying here. The staff are terrific and very friendly. They are always happy to help with any questions.

I was picked and dropped off at the ferry terminal by Dom in a golf cart. They have a beautiful breakfast each morning with an optional glass of champagne should you want one. Maya ( I hope I have her name right) was delightful and prepared a breakfast for me the night before I had to take an early ferry. Very thoughtful. The interior decor is lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest this as a place to come and stay and enjoy Rovinj. I don’t want to praise it too much because I want a room available when I come back again! It’s located in the bottom right of the photo I attached. It’s really a lovely place.

Located in the heart of Rovinj, with views of the water, this historic hotel was a delight! The staff was friendly and so attentive. Breakfast included a wonderful array of meats, cheeses, fruits and pastries, with coffee and eggs made to order. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. It felt like stepping back in time with all the necessary modern conveniences. If you are driving and parking your car, I recommend asking for the free shuttle. Cars aren’t allowed in the old town. But you will enjoy walking the cobblestone streets, tasting the food of Istria and exploring the many shops.

Staff was very accommodating and came looking for us 2x when our ferry from Venice was cancelled due to rough seas and we were transported by bus. Would have been tough to find this wonderful family operated hotel without them. They have a golf cart to get one from the port to their old city location. While very close, lots of twists and turns to get there.

My family stayed in the apartment which is a short walk away from the hotel. Three bedrooms & air conditioning. It was nice to have a small kitchen to prepare breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Two bathrooms & a washing machine! Highly recommend! Perfect location - bakery right across the street.

Dom and the staff were very welcoming and helpful after a long travel day. They were able to accommodate us for one night on our way from Venice to Zagreb when other accommodations would not. They gave us an excellent dinner recommendation and were kind enough to take us to the rental car office. The Villa is well appointed and well taken care of. It has our highest recommendation and we hope to return one day and stay a bit long in Rovinj and surrounding area.

Our US family of 4 stayed in the Garibaldi annex of Villa Tuttorotto for 2 nights in early July 2022. The rooms were excellent and served as a great base for exploring Rovinj and Istria. It was a short walk from the parking area, and the staff met us to pick up and drop off in a golf cart. Domo was very helpful in describing some ways to enjoy the area. Despite being right downtown, the apartment was not noisy. Everything was clean, a/c worked, all in all a great stay!

I was taken aback at first by the equipment gym outside my door & the small bed on the last floor. However, the view quickly made up for it & the hotel is very well located. Additionally, the hotel felt very boutique living in a home with a living room you can fully utilize. Plus, the receptionist made my stay very pleasant with the copious breakfast I’m still salivating about.

Air Conditioner turned off - hot room - no refund

When we checked into the hotel, the air conditioning had been turned off for the season and our room was stifling hot. We politely told the woman who checked us in that we needed to move to a different hotel because it would have been impossible to sleep. We told her we would work the situation out with Hotels.com and that we would be willing to pay for one night. Hotels.com contacted the hotel for me today and the hotel refused to refund us any of the money for our planned three-night say. I think the customer service rep really tried to work it out with the hotel because I was on hold for about 15 minutes. Hotels.com kindly gave us a voucher for $200 for future use since the hotel would not cooperate. I find it very unreasonable that the hotel did not give us a refund or partial refund.

Nice but very difficult to find

In the facts this is like a bed and breakfast rather than an hotel. Facilities are in a nice old house but there are very difficult to find inside the city. The hotel should provide more information and assintance for facilitate travelers to approach the site. If you are travling in a car be prepared to park at around 10 minutes walking distance and carry on your lugagge at the hotel. No help for this.

Cute, friendly B&B!!

I loved this hotel - great character, awesome breakfast (with a nice view of the harbor), cozy spot off the side streets inside the heart of the old city. Also much more convenient to get to with luggage than some of the other b&bs that are further off the main walkways / up steeper hills.

If these sort of things matter to you when you travel, I would point out that:
- it is nearly impossible to find the first time. I followed the directions they sent but if you haven’t seen the web of streets before, it’s tough. I also asked 5-6 people including at the restaurant on what ended up being around the corner, and the 6th person was the first who knew. No problem finding my way back there after, but check-in is hard if you’re coming in without assistance.
- there is limited hot water. Both mornings the water turned cold while I was mid-washing my hair.

But if you’re not worried about those things, it’s a delightfully quaint, friendly b&b in a great spot very close to the water and main walkways!

Experience the true taste of living in old Rovinj

In order to stay in the centre of the historic town of Rovinj having travelled by car, you need to accept that it is essential to leave it in the large public car park about 1/2 mile from the hotel. Conversely, you get to experience the true magic of the town without cars. Villa Tuttorotto is located in a tiny backstreet, but perfectly findable using Google Maps! We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, except perhaps the first morning sharing the large breakfast table with other guests. We have a personal preference for separate tables, not possible due to space limits. But on the second day we were able to breakfast separately on the tiny terrace! Our room had a limited but acceptable view of the harbour. The bed and facilities were good, except for an easily cured slow drainage on the shower. We loved walking around the town and the walk to the park to the south...well worth it for peace, quiet and views away from the busy town and harbour. Great choice of restaurants, but we chose one in the backstreets away from the busy harbourside ones.....an excellent choice for a better quality meal learned from experience!

Very nice room for 3 in a quaint B and B. Huge bathroom. We came by car. Old City is closed to most cars. You park in lot by public pier and walk a few blocks to hotel. Might be able to get some golf transportation. Not the easiest or Best choice if you have trouble walking. Otherwise very nice. English speaking desk staff.

Elegant, beautiful, with great location and staff

This charming small hotel sits inside the medeival city, but is readily accessible from the parking area with their good instructions. It is an historic building, a former private residence. Many windows have a port view, and the hotel is full of beautiful antiques and art. The second floor has a comfortable 'living room' area, and dining table, with a balcony also available. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful, and we couldn't have been happier. Great breakfast. The only issue was poor wifi in our top floor room. I had to come down to 2nd floor use wifi.

Villa Tuttorotto was fabulous. My single room was on the top floor with a nice view of the bay. It was pretty spacious for being just a single room. Two big windows provided lots of fresh air. The building is uniquely decorated and the staff is super accommodating. I was there in the off season, and although I was the only guest at the time, they still fixed me an entire breakfast buffet. It was fantastic!! Thank you!

Amazing hotel decorated as a residential villa, Beutiful sea view from room. Katarina and Maria were very curteous, friendly and helpful. Located right in the old city, so close to great restaurants and shopping. Wifi reception and breakfast were great. Ate breakfast on terrace overlooking bay. Very romantic setting, Great value. Noise from nearby restaurant past midnight may keep you up if on sea view side, but amazing little hotel and great value otherwise.

Nice Enough Hotel but Understaffed

Everything at the Villa Tuttorotto was just fine. The rooms were decent and clean. The breakfast had a bit of variety.

One major negative of this hotel is that it is essentially staffed by one person at the front desk, and the front door remains locked unless someone is there to buzz you in. This person regularly leaves the front desk to bring people up to their rooms and help with luggage (which often have to be carried up flights of stairs because the old elevator barely works half the time). This same person is also the concierge and helps with breakfast. The desk is also not staffed 24/7 (hence the need to for the buzzer entry front door). Needless to say, she was not always available when needed.

Lovely hotel in an old Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Rovinj. Our room had a small view of the water and was comfortable but bed a bit hard. Had to ask for extra blankets and pillows but staff were lovely. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room had a balcony with a view of the water. The hotel was like a museum with lots of interesting paintings books and artifacts. Location was excellent, just behind the waterfront with its many cafes and able to sit and watch the sunset. It was an easy walk to the old town which is much nicer than Pula. So glad we stayed here instead of Pula.

Homely shabby chic

Lovely place right in the old town, out the door and onto the seafront with great choices of good fresh food.
I had a fabulous view of the harbour from my room on the 4th floor, decent shower and all the accesories you'd need, period furniture.... a really cool shabby chic place to stay.
I must mention the Lovely Kristina, who came in early to make me breakfast before I left early, her excellent English, warm and helpfull nature is a compliment to homely feel of the place.
I would thoroughly reccomend the Tuttorotto....get up early and go to the fish market, fruit market, see where your dinner is coming from !

Terrific, beautifully appointed hotel, immaculate in every way and convenient to everything worth seeing in Rovinj. Our room on the second floor was spacious, with a view of the harbor, hardwood floors, a small writing desk, a full bath with a separate dressing area. We were welcomed after arrival with complimentary glasses of wine, chocolates and nuts on the small balcony off the breakfast room. A plush common sitting area is ideal to read and enjoy a glass of wine before bed. The staff was lovely, remembered us, and our preferences during our stay. Be sure and ask them to see the \"museum\" which they are happy to show off, by turning on the lights in the basement, displaying a collection of original amphorae under glass tiles in their check-in area. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again soon!

Almost impossible to find

No taxi can take you to this wonderful little inn, and no taxi was willing to come pick us up! People were fine; breakfast was good; room was charming. Best for young people for whom struggling to find hotel can be regarded as part of the adventure. Unfortunately, the old part of Rovinj has suffered the influx of cheap tourist junk-hawkers so common in places that used to be quaint and inviting.

A beauty within the old city

The place is greatly restored and hosts 7 rooms, all in a Venetian/antique style. Breakfast is superb and with view - as have all rooms. The nasty thing is their neigbhouring fish restaurat - the smoke exhaust of their kitchen spreads a fried fish smell over the balconies and in the rooms if windows are opened.

Wonderful staff - great little hotel

The Villa Tuttorotto is a small hotel (I think 8 rooms) in the heart of the old city. Great location although difficult to find at first. We arrived on the ferry from Venice at around 11 pm (after an hour delay) and wandered the streets a bit before a helpful local took pity on us and walked us to the hotel. The staff (Kristina) stayed open for us, helped us get settled and directed us to a wonderful restaurant right next door. The rooms are small but clean and nice. The bathroom was good size and very nice. Only a few very minor issues. They need to install blackout shades or drapes. And the bed was 2 single beds pushed together. Breakfast on the veranda was wonderful and the location couldn't be better. We would definitely return.

A luxury on the Adriatic

We traveled for 2 weeks in Slovenia and Croatia, staying in mid-range apartments, sobe, and hotels. While they were all clean and comfortable, Villa Tuttorotto felt like a luxurious break during the trip. We were on 4th floor with a wonderful Adriatic Sea view, the room and bathroom were really large and modern, the reception was great – a free drink, snacks, and chocolate – the breakfast options were the best during our trip, it was right in Old Town, and was extremely quiet when shutters and windows were closed at night (one of my main criteria for a good hotel!). Wish we could have taken this hotel along with us for the entire trip. Only drawback is that the lift is really slow so we always took the stairs – steep to the 4th floor but then again we appreciated the exercise so that didn’t bother us. Highly recommend this place for a visit to beautiful Rovinj.

Struttura nel centro storico di Rovinj a pochi passi dalla piazza. All'arrivo il titolare è venuto a prenderci all'ingresso della cittadina e ci ha anche consigliato dove parcheggiare gratuitamente. La struttura è in un palazzo storico ben curato e con molti dettagli del tempo. Stanze piccole ma con tutto il necessario. Consigliatissimo!

部屋は清潔で快適。
シービューの部屋にしたが、それは必要なかったかも。。街を歩けば、いくらでもいい景色が見えるので。
朝食がサービスが良すぎて多すぎたかな。
気になったのはそれくらいで、またロヴィニを訪れる際は利用したい。

alles war sehr gut

alles war ok. wir hatten 3 nächte über silvester/Neujahr gebucht und das war die richtige Entscheidung. im tuttorotto haben wir ein schönes zimmer bewohnt, das Restaurant (Name entfallen) sehr gutes Fischrestaurant an dem fussweg meeresseite hoch Richtung kirche, war ebenfalls sehr gut, und das wetter spielte voll mit. Sonnenschein pur mit angenehmen Temperaturen. und rovinj ist immer eine reise wert. hat uns gut gefallen und wir werden dies wahrscheinlich nächstes silvester wiederholen. hat gepasst.
