Cosy Hotel in Old Town Rovinj

Small hotel, conveniently located just a short way up the hill to St. Euphamia's chuech from the main square.

The room was very comfortable and clean and for the most part quiet. I just wish certain guests would be quieter when walking on the wooden stairs.

Breakfast was included and is provided off-site at the Balbi Restaurant, about three minutes walk away. Decent offerings were provided for breakfast.

Hotel is situated in the heart of old town Rovinj and is around a ten minute walk from the bus and coach station.

I will certainly look to stay here again the next time I am in Rovinj. Many thanks to the nice, friendly staff.

Everything was perfect. The hotel met our car and took us to the parking lot then drove us right to the door of the hotel and took our luggage to our room. Same thing when we left. The room was beautiful and a perfect location. Great staff.

The boutique hotel is quaint and in a great location in Rovinj. The staff was extremely accommodating, allowing us to store luggage, and providing us with dinner recommendations and a contact for a driver to get to our next destination. The buffet breakfast exceeded expectations and was in a beautiful outdoor location.

From the moment we arrived in Rovinj we were excited to get to the Hotel.. The team working here were so helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, modern, stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was at a restaurant just 100yds down the hill which was quite basic but had enough to satisfy the start of the day. We will return for sure.. Thankyou

Wonderful room in a quaint part of town. It's in a walking zone, so you'll have to park outside the area and take their golf cart in, but it's well worth it. Staff was very kind and professional. Highly recommend!

The property is charming and upscale. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The linens and towels are suburb. Our primary complaint was that the room is stuffy and we could not adjust the air conditioning which makes for a restless sleep.

Wanted to cancel as i found out the day before that this hotel was unsuutable for people with wheelchairs
Once i discussed with my wife i tried to get a refund which was offered the same day andcwas refused. Reason. Ourcroom had been made up already. Pathetic excuse as i doubt rooms are only made up once they are booked.. NEVER GOING TO BOOK HERE AGAIN.

The room was beautiful and the AC worked great! It seems they thought of every amenity. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast from the cafe down the street was a wonderful fresh buffet which had many choices. The shuttle from the parking lot was a godsend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Melegran! The staff are incredible, and it was nice to have the golf cart to take us with our bags to and from our car. We chose Rovinj As a central location to visit ancient sites in Pula and Porec. I can’t recommend Rovinj highly enough! It is a beautiful small town with friendly people and the sea there is great!

Room was extremely small. We had a change in travel plans due to issues with the outbound flight and they still charged for 2 nights. It was the most expensive place we booked and some understanding would have been appreciated. Still enjoyed the 1 night we stayed there but for the price we could have slept 1 night on a luxury yacht.

Lovely 4 night stay in Old Town of Rovinj. We stayed in a suite with a bed, pullout bed and kitchenette. It was very clean and the hotel staff were very accommodating! Our bus arrived late and the cart driver stayed late to bring us to the hotel - which I doubt we would have found on our own. They also took us the bus station for an early morning departure and provided a huge take out breakfast.
You are staying within the Old Town where people still live and there are many restaurants - so it was not quiet - but this just added to the “old town” feel.
Breakfast was provided at a restaurant very close to hotel and it was excellent!

Timmy was fantastic….after we booked on line with Expedia he called us within 5 minutes to confirm our arrival time and explain where to get picked up by the golf cart that drove us into the old city to the hotel. After he checked us in he ran our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to the beautiful room.

Timmy made us the best aperol spritz of the entire vacation and help us with our ferry reservation that we had struggled with all day. He suggested watching sunset from the church on top of the hill and made us reservations and one of the best and most unique restaurants of our lives (La Puntalina)

This property was stunning. Stunning. STUNN-ING.

We loved Rovinj, and the Melegran was centrally located and near everything we could want. The breakfast was wonderful, and quite varied. My mom unfortunately had a fall before we got to Rovinj, and so couldn't do too much walking on the steep and slippery streets, but the Melegran staff came to our rescue multiple times, so we didn't have to miss out on anything. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was.

Hotel is very convenient, close to the sea. Having to park 1/2 kilometer away from hotel is not ideal even though hotel provides golf cart pickup. Access to our room was also not ideal as the staircase is narrow and virtually vertical.

The staff was so helpful with transportation to and from the hotel. We had to leave 5am in the morning and they drove us to our connection as well as packed a thoughtful breakfast for us! In addition, the decor of the hotel was gorgeous. And the hotel is surrounded by fantastic restaurants. And as a nightcap, they have a cute small bar that you hang out. Made our visit to Rovinj extra special to stay here. Hope we can return soon.

A M A Z I N G !!! Highly recommend ! We travelled from the US. Long and exhausting flight, the hotel was so accommodating. Making the arrival so easy with pick up at a parking area and the accompanying directly to the lobby for check in. This is obviously a very small quaint hotel. Do not expect large rooms or room service or things of the genre. This is small, cozy, accommodating , local, charming and just perfect. You are in the heart of the town. Walking distance from everything.

Definitely worth staying and would go back , hence high recommendation

We stayed here for 2 nights before catching the ferry over to Venice. I was so impressed with the accommodations. The staff was so helpful and kind, checking us in early as our room was already available despite it being peak season. I’ve forgotten his name, but the gentleman who helped take our luggage up to our room was always cheerful & answered any questions we had.
The breakfast was lovely, a great array of options to choose from.
We travelled to Croatia for a wedding & this was on the tail end of our trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I fell in love with Old Town. When I return, I would definitely consider staying here again.

The Melegran is a very cute hotel option right in the center of Rovinj. The hotel staff is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room was small, but clean, modern, and well decorated. To those who are driving and need to park, contact the hotel ahead of time. The GPS will not lead you to an area to which you can drive. You will need to meet the hotel staff who will lead you to the parking area and then drive you in a mini car to the hotel.

Rovinj is simply beautiful and the Melegran is right in the old pedestrian part of town. Close to everything. Breakfast was excellent. They even packed a breakfast for a 3:30 am departure. The hotel took us by golf cart to the hotel.

Delightful, comfortable hotel in the old town

The reviews for this property were so enthusiastic, I was worried about being disappointed, but I had a wonderful experience. Getting a lift from the parking lot into town (and back) was seamless, the hotel was darling and very well-appointed, the breakfast was delicious and generous, and the town itself was magical, with cobblestone streets, darling shops, lovely restaurants, and wonderful swimming opportunities. My stay was absolutely magical.

Excellent boutique hotel in great location in old town. Parking was off site but we were met at an easy location and guided to the parking then taken by golf cart to the hotel. Very friendly helpful staff and nice touches in the room made our stay there fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Melegran was delightful! The property is even better than the pictures. The 2 rooms with their own en-suite bathrooms were beautifully appointed. The upstairs has a futon style couch that can be used as an extra bed. We loved hanging out on the terrace too. There is laundry service about 50 yards away that is convenient and reasonable. The old town where the hotel is located is idyllic. Lots of dining and shopping and very charming. We can’t wait to come back again!

The best hotel I have ever stayed in!

This is the most helpful hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff is beyond amazing and courteous. The location is in the heart of old town Rovinj which is stunning. My husband got sick and the restaurant for breakfast brought food up to our room for no charge. That is SERVICE! I would move in and make this my retirement home if I could. I wish we had stayed longer.
This hotel is 5 stars for a much cheaper price. It is an absolute steal!!

Consider this place first!

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. OK, the rooms were \"cozy,\" but nicely decorated and comfy. Everything was new and clean. The mattress was very good. The bathroom was a tad small but modern, and the towels were thick and luxurious. The staff was great and the location is perfect for sightseeing. A full breakfast (included), served at a nearly restaurant, is great, although you have to keep reminding the wait staff about your order. On the whole, one of the absolute nicest places I've every stayed at. 10 out of 10.

Great location in Old Town in Rovinj

Location is right inside Old Town of Rovinj.
Very clean.
Small rooms, efficient use of space.
Nice sheets, good bed.
Functional bathroom.
I recommend to stay in the upper floors due to the noise from the street.
If you have a car, you will need to park it outside the Old Town and pay for it. The Melegran shuttle brought us from that parking lot to the hotel and also delivered us back there when we left.
A nice breakfast is served in a restaurant just a few steps from The Melegran.

The room was really nice and comfortable.
The bathroom and shower were fantastic as well. We really appreciated the Netflix option (especially my child). Definitely a lot of attention to detail! Keep in mind the room is very small, but functional.
The breakfast was really great too, it was made to order for us and the service was on point! The \"shuttle\" driver was super nice and always right on time!
The Melegran is a lovely choice.
