Not only is this a beautiful hotel with well maintained rooms in the best location in old town but the staff made it that much better. I have to say Anet and Karla who was welcoming and incredible helpful at the front desk with staff member Christian . Were three of the best hotel staff I ever met.
Hotels are not just brick and mortar, they are part of an experience and the experience We had was delightful. Highly recommended

We were at the Adriatic for 3 nights, and the front desk & bell staff there made the experience for us; they were helpful and pleasant, and tried to address every need.. The hotel has a modern facade and interior on an older structure - lots of black walls and surfaces which made it seem dark, even when it was sunny outside. The rooms were decent size, although other than hanging space in the closet, there was no place to store clothing (i.e. no dresser or drawers). The bathroom with walk in shower were good size too - the provided soap, The shampoo and conditioner were adequate, although two of the pump bottles did not function correctly. Breakfast was a bit disappointing; the orange juice seemed pre-packaged, and the egg dishes that we ordered off the ala carte menu were overcooked for the most part. The provided breads/pastries were OK, but not at the level of other properties we stayed at in the area. Fruits selection was varied, but mostly just short of being ripe. The service in the restaurant was good, but often things were overlooked, or mistakes made in the orders - nothing aggregious, though. On the positive side, if you have the time and inclination, free bikes are available for riding around town, and the sister properties amenities (pool, gym, spa, beach area) are free for use - and they are very nice. Overall the stay was fine, and we might return, but value for price paid was not great.

We absolutely loved this property and our stay. It felt modern and luxurious in the middle of the old town. The view was spectacular.
The staff was friendly, helpful, efficient, and attentive to every need.
It was walkable to all major sites, shopping, and restaurants.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
We took advantage of access to the sister hotel (Grand Hotel across the marina) and used the Infinity pool. The view was stunning.
We will definitely be returning.

Exclusive hotel with only 18 rooms in a primo location. Right on the harbor with drop dead gorgeous views! Staff was super friendly and helpful. We used their bikes for a wonderful ride to the forest preserve area. Also we were able to use the facilities (pools, fitness center) at the nearby Grand Hotel which is a 10 minute walk. The made to order breakfast was first rate! Of note, we had to park our car outside the Old Town and walk to the hotel. We weren’t informed of this prior. Once we got to the hotel, the super friendly staff assisted us in moving our car to their secure parking lot. Would be helpful to know this beforehand, but the outstanding stay was more than worth it! Highly recommended hotel!

Only hotel immediately near Rovinj hill on waterfront nestled among shopping and restaurant galore. Unfortunately city construction next to hotel that makes driving to it beyond challenging. We wasted over hour trying to get to hotel (drove in circles), do NOT follow Google, after stay (???) hotel emailed detailed instructions on how to get to hotel & would have made arrival SO much less stressful. Great room, dark colors, mirrors everywhere, small bathroom, A/C not available 1st night, but other 2 nights hotel turned it on (May visit - humid, very warm). Never worried about damage to hotel room until this stay (huge bedside booklet with damage costs listed for everything one could do to room). No other boutique hotel we stayed at during 3+ week travels through Croatia did this - just unusual & little stressful (afraid to scratch walls/paint). Breakfast here was amazing & one of our favorites - make sure to allot time to enjoy the best bread basket of trip, staff service, views! Provide fresh coffee and french press to enjoy in room- a true treat from pods! Lovely sweet bite in room to enjoy on arrival. Parking 7-10 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart ride from hotel in private lot.

Probably the best location in Rovinj. Staff service is excellent. Rooms are modern. Initially driving to the hotel, you’ll need to give your name to enter the pedestrian zone in Rovinj and then slowly drive to the hotel. But once that is done, the staff will do the rest by driving your car to their designated parking lot and giving you a magnetic key card that will enable you to get in/out freely. They’ll also bring you to the parking lot via their electric cart.

Only downside was that we didn’t know ahead of time that you couldn’t park at the hotel but we gave them a call and someone directed us to the parking lot and gave us a ride to the hotel. Beautiful property, the decor is modern and it felt new. The rooms are spacious and the views are incredible. I found the staff to be genuinely lovely, they take time to say hello and check in with you as you enter or leave the hotel.
The breakfast menu has good variety and it eating it out on the terrace with the gorgeous view just gave me the holiday vibe!
The only downside for me is that for the price I paid, I would expect an onsite gym and an iron in my room. I appreciated the fact we could use the sister hotel facilities, however, walking 25 minutes in 30 degree heat to use a gym wasn't ideal.
Otherwise, the hotel itself and the staff are fantastic. I'd recommend this as the number one choice if you are wanting to stay in old town with a choice of waterfront dining options on your doorstep.

Our favorite hotel! We were traveling for two weeks in Croatia and Slovenia. This hotel was wonderful in every way. Nice rooms, great location, yummy breakfast (included in our rate), and the best staff.
Just get directions to parking before you set off in your car, they took care of us when we couldn't figure it out! Lots of laughs with staff. Nice dinner suggestions. Only stayed two nights, but wish we could have stayed longer at the Adriatic and in Rovinj.

Adriatic Hotel by Maistra, was a pleasant surprise. The minute we entered the hotel we felt welcomed. The receptionist was polite, positive and informed us about every little detail we asked. The bellman was friendly and helpful. He set up the room temperature to our comfort, opened the shutters for us to enjoy the gorgeous view and arranged our luggage in our car the next day, the same way it was arranged when we arrived! Our room was spotless and spacious! We had a welcoming desert waiting in our room! The lobby bar and the restaurant were pleasant, service was great, food was tasty and everyone went above and beyond to make us feel wonderful. We received gifts at check out, as well! Can’t wait to come back in the summer when everything in town will be open and we can enjoy it even more! The hotel parking is not close by, but they have a gold cart that they use to bring guests to the hotel and back to the parking. Everything about this property is amazing!

You must park outside the restricted area and speak to the parking attendant who will give you a card to get into the restricted area to unload luggage. We were so impressed by this hotel and the amazing service and hospitality of the staff. Our room was modern and nice. Since it was our. Honeymoon, they had a bottle of champagne and sweets prepared with handwritten notes. When we got lost driving to the hotel, someone came and found us. On top of that, great walkable location right on the water with food people watching from their bar and restaurant. The highlight my have been that you are able to use their sister hotel, the Grand Park Rovinj’s, pool and amenities which are breathtaking. Highly recommend!!!

We loved the central location of the hotel and the very friendly and helpful staff. The fact that we could use the facilities of the Grand Park and the sister hotels on the islands was also a real bonus.
The total lack of a view from our room was, however, a complete shock and huge disappointment. Even though, we knew that the rooms with harbour and Square views were fully booked we really didn’t expect to be looking out at just a wall literally a few metres away from our window for 6 nights! We were at least expecting roof top views. We also struggled to sleep despite discarding our duvet as the minimum room temperature setting was only 21 degrees. Warmer than day time temperatures in the UK currently!
We enjoyed our breakfasts at the hotel even though we felt like second class citizens as the breakfast menu for outside guests included items not available to hotel guests including freshly squeezed orange juice and beautifully presented platters. Eating breakfast outside on the terrace overlooking the harbour was lovely but very strange to be sat next to tables enjoying much better presented and better quality provisions.

Absolutely love this hotel. It is located in the center of old town. I got upgraded to a beautiful suite with a balcony overlooking the harbor. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious, staff is very attentive and warm. I woke up with a breathtaking view and went to bed with local saxophone musician playing melancholy tunes by the water (he packs up at 10pm everyday.). Absolutely memorable experience.

My wife and I stayed at the Adriatic hotel for three nights in May, 2021. We had some trouble finding the hotel when we arrived by car in Rovinj, since it is located in the pedestrian-only historical district. Fortunately an attendant at a parking area outside the historical district pointed the way for us and allowed us to drive to the hotel. The reception at the hotel told us they sent us an email explaining about how to reach the hotel, but we never received it. The reception arranged for us to park in their lot just outside the historical district, and from that point we were able to come and go easily.

Beyond our parking difficulty, everything about the Adriatic Hotel was perfect. The hotel gave us a room upgrade when we complained that our initial room was too hot. The room contained all amenities, including a French press coffee maker, and each evening the staff brought us fresh brownies. The breakfasts were exceptional, with wonderful fresh fruit, locally-made bread, Istrian sausages, and a number of other great options. The staff were extraordinarily helpful; we are especially appreciative of Roberto, who assisted us with the parking and the room upgrade. The hotel’s location, right on the waterfront in the main town square, provided us with both outstanding views and with easy access to the town and its many shops and restaurants. We were also appreciative that the staff adhered to Covid mask and distancing regulations.

Hotel Adriatic is gorgeous and is located in the most appealing location in Rovinj, the most beautiful town we found in Croatia. The staff on the whole were lovely. We did encounter one haughty concierge who steered us awry and sent us to Katerina Island...boring! It was undoubtedly to promote a sister hotel, the only thing there, wasting our afternoon. Otherwise, the staff was lovely and helpful, the restaurant was great and we were delighted with our 2 night stay!

Prime location on the main square of Rovinj within the pedestrian zone. The café/bar terrace has a beautiful view of the harbour and main square.
Breakfast (7 am till noon!) included was awesome, great variety, quantity, selection and wonderful coffee and juices all served a-la-carte. Loved the whiskey bar. Loved the complimentary 5 minute boat ride to St. Katarina (Island Hotel Katarina) for an awesome full day of beach, pool, exclusive Hotel Adriatic sun bed area, towels, beach side bar service. Indulged in a fabulous sea-side lunch which we were able to charge to our room.
After booking through Expedia we emailed the hotel regarding directions for us arriving by car. An email response was immediate, detailed complete with map, GPS co-ordinates and instruction for obtaining temporary ticket for us to drive our car past the barrier into the pedestrian zone to the front door of Hotel Adriatic. The staff unloaded our luggage and parked our car – in the shade - in their private parking lot just outside the pedestrian zone. Hotel Adriatic shuttled us with their golf cart right to our car when we were scheduled to return the car to the rental agency. After our 3 days in Rovinj we took the ferry to Venice therefore the proximity of our hotel to the ferry dock inside the pedestrian zone was important since dragging suitcases through these streets can be a challenge.
Highly recommend this boutique hotel for all the reasons above!

Great location hotel in the heart of Rovinj. Lovely comfy attic room, great breakfasts watching the world go by and had a lovely meal in the restaurant.Staff on reception, breakfast, eve meal and housekeeping all pleasant. Liked the little cake and elderflower syrup (nice touch) Could catch ferry and use Sister island hotels for the beach and pool. Also made use of the hotel bikes to get about town and to the beach in the Forrest park. Good tea/coffee making facilities in room.Plenty of Coffee and herbal teas, only small gripe(and only small) was lack of breakfast teabags (were English!!) in room. Had to ask for these. Fantastic hotel. Right on the main square in Rovinj, with the ferry terminal (free for hotel guests) to the two nearby islands directly in front. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely and the room spacious and clean. Friendly service from the staff at the hotel. Two minor quibbles would be the service wasn't always proactive: we didn't know they could take us round to partner hotels in the golf buggy until halfway through our stay. Secondly the towels in the room are not what you'd call soft or luxurious. These are minor though, it's a fantastic place to stay and we would happily do so again.

Romantic Rovinj

Beautiful romantic hotel in sea front Rovinj. Customer service upon registration till departure was very professional. Free breakfast was sumptous. We stayed in a sea front room and it's worth the extra dollars. They even upgraded my friends which was good. The hotel has 18 rooms and service is personalized. It is in a great location lots of shops and good restaurants. The places the receptionist recommended served very good food. Free shuttle to St. Andrews Island where a 6 star hotel is located and a church converted into a restaurant provides excellent food.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Adriatic Rovinj. The room was modern and clean. The hotel was located in the center of the old city with great views of the harbor. Our breakfast was made to order:) The service we were given was stellar. Anet and Igor treated us warmly and answered all of our questions as well as providing their recommendations. HIGH MARKS FOR THIS HOTEL. The best on our 3 week vacation!!!

GREAT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

Our stay at this hotel was great due to the fact that the staff was so helpful and kind to us. The location is in the heart of Rovinj! The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. They provided a made to order breakfast too. We had a perfect stay and would highly recommend to any traveler.
